We define the counting of holomorphic cylinders in log Calabi–Yau surfaces. Although we start with a complex log Calabi–Yau surface, the counting is achieved by applying methods from non-archimedean geometry. This gives rise to new geometric invariants. Moreover, we prove that the counting satisfies a property of symmetry. Explicit calculations are given for a del Pezzo surface in detail, which verify the conjectured wall-crossing formula for the focus-focus singularity. Our holomorphic cylinders are expected to give a geometric understanding of the combinatorial notion of broken line by Gross, Hacking, Keel and Siebert. Our tools include Berkovich spaces, tropical geometry, Gromov–Witten theory and the GAGA theorem for non-archimedean analytic stacks.  相似文献

A ring with identity is said to be clean if every element can be written as a sum of a unit and an idempotent. The study of clean rings has been at the forefront of ring theory over the past decade. The theory of partially-ordered groups has a nice and long history and since there are several ways of relating a ring to a (unital) partially-ordered group it became apparent that there ought to be a notion of a clean partially-ordered group. In this article we define a clean unital lattice-ordered group; we state and prove a theorem which characterizes clean unital ?-groups. We mention the relationship of clean unital ?-groups to algebraic K-theory. In the last section of the article we generalize the notion of clean to the non-unital context and investigate this concept within the framework of W-objects, that is, archimedean ?-groups with distinguished weak order unit.  相似文献

Following the approach in the archimedean case, we introduce the notion of admissible metrics for line bundles on curves and abelian varieties over non-archimedean local fields. Several properties of admissible metrics are considered and we show that this approach yields the same notion of admissible metrics over curves as doing harmonic analysis on the reduction graph of the curve. A nonassociative quaternion algebra over a field F is a 4-dimensional F-algebra A whose nucleus is a separable quadratic extension field of F. We define the notion of a valuation ring for A, and we also define a value function on A with values from a totally ordered group. We determine the structure of the set on which the function assumes non-negative values and we prove that, given a valuation ring of A, there is a value function associated to it if and only if the valuation ring is integral and invariant under proper F-automorphisms of A.  相似文献

We consider an analytic iterative method to approximate the solution of a neutral stochastic functional differential equation. More precisely, we define a sequence of approximate equations and we give sufficient conditions under which the approximate solutions converge with probability one and in pth moment sense, p ? 2, to the solution of the initial equation. We introduce the notion of the Z-algorithm for this iterative method and present some examples to illustrate the theory. Especially, we point out that the well-known Picard method of iterations is a special Z-algorithm.  相似文献

In this paper we introduce the notion of a value function ω on a simple Artinian ring Q whose restriction to the center of Q is a Krull valuation. We then study the structure of a valuation ring corresponding to ω and its ideals. It is shown that is a prime Goldie ring and the set of two-sided ideals of is totally ordered by inclusion with the maximal ideal J(BW). Furthermore, it is proved that if Q is a central simple algebra, then the valuation ring is a Dubrovin valuation ring which is integral over its center.  相似文献

The purpose of this work is to establish a link between the theory of Chern classes for singular varieties and the geometry of the varieties in question. Namely, we show that if Z is a hypersurface in a compact complex manifold, defined by the complex analytic space of zeroes of a reduced non-zero holomorphic section of a very ample line bundle, then its Milnor classes, regarded as elements in the Chow group of Z, determine the global Lê cycles of Z; and vice versa: The Lê cycles determine the Milnor classes. Morally this implies, among other things, that the Milnor classes determine the topology of the local Milnor fibres at each point of Z, and the geometry of the local Milnor fibres determines the corresponding Milnor classes.  相似文献

It is known that within metric spaces analyticity and K-analyticity are equivalent concepts. It is known also that non-separable weakly compactly generated (shortly WCG) Banach spaces over R or C provide concrete examples of weakly K-analytic spaces which are not weakly analytic. We study the case which totally differs from the above one. A general theorem is provided which shows that a Banach space E over a locally compact non-archimedean non-trivially valued field is weakly Lindelöf iff E is separable iff E is WCG iff E is weakly web-compact (in the sense of Orihuela). This provides a non-archimedean version of a remarkable Amir-Lindenstrauss theorem.  相似文献

This paper deals with connections on non-archimedean, especially p-adic, analytic curves, in the sense of Berkovich. The curves must be compact but the connections are allowed to have a finite number of meromorphic singularities on them. For any choice of a semistable formal model of the curve, we define a geometric, intrinsic notion of normalized radius of convergence of a full set of local solutions as a function on the curve, with values in (0, 1]. For a sufficiently refined choice of the semistable model, we prove continuity, logarithmic concavity and logarithmic piece-wise linearity of that function. We introduce and characterize Robba connections, that is connections whose sheaf of solutions is constant on any open disk contained in the curve, precisely as it happens in the classical case.  相似文献

In this paper, we will study some essential analytic properties of the “spin”L-function on the symplectic groupGSp (6) (which is associated with the eight-dimensional spin representation of theL-group Gspin (7, ℂ), namely, uniqueness of a bilinear form on an irreducible admissible representation ofGSp (6)×GL(2), local functional equation, and meromorphic continuation, non-vanishing properties at non-archimedean places as well as at archimedean places. In this note we relate the valuations of the algebras appearing in the noncommutative geometry of quantized algebras to properties of sublattices in some vector spaces. We consider the case of algebras with PBW-bases and prove that under some mild assumptions, the valuations of the ground field extend to a noncommutative valuation. Later we introduce the notion of F-reductor and graded reductor and reduce the problem of finding an extending noncommutative valuation to finding a reductor in an associated graded ring having a domain for its reduction.  相似文献

The notion of Hochschild homology of a dg algebra admits a natural dualization, the coHochschild homology of a dg coalgebra, introduced in [23] as a tool to study free loop spaces. In this article we prove “agreement” for coHochschild homology, i.e., that the coHochschild homology of a dg coalgebra C is isomorphic to the Hochschild homology of the dg category of appropriately compact C-comodules, from which Morita invariance of coHochschild homology follows. Generalizing the dg case, we define the topological coHochschild homology (coTHH) of coalgebra spectra, of which suspension spectra are the canonical examples, and show that coTHH of the suspension spectrum of a space X is equivalent to the suspension spectrum of the free loop space on X, as long as X is a nice enough space (for example, simply connected.) Based on this result and on a Quillen equivalence established in [24], we prove that “agreement” holds for coTHH as well.  相似文献

We study the degeneration dimension of non-archimedean analytic maps into the complement of hypersurface divisors of smooth projective varieties. We also show that there exist no non-archimedean analytic maps into where Di, 1?i?n, are hypersurfaces of degree at least 2 in general position and intersecting transversally. Moreover, we prove that there exist no non-archimedean analytic maps into when D1, D2 are generic plane curves with degD1+degD2?4.  相似文献

We define the concept of an ultrametric Möbius space (Z,M) and show that the boundary at infinity of a nonelementary geodesically complete tree is naturally an ultrametric Möbius space. In addition, we construct to a given ultrametric Möbius space (Z,M) a nonelementary geodesically complete tree, unique up to isometry, with (Z,M) being its boundary at infinity. In “Part I” (presented at Ord05 (Oxford, MS)), we have discussed, for reduced archimedean f-rings, the canonical extension of such a ring, A, to one with identity, uA, and the class U of u-extendable maps (i.e., homomorphisms which lift over the u’s to identity preserving homomorphisms). We showed that U is a category and u becomes a functor from U which is a monoreflection; the maps in U were characterized. This paper addresses the interaction between our functor u, and v , the vector lattice monoreflection in archimedean ?-groups (due to Conrad and Bleier). In short, v restricts to a monoreflection of reduced archimedean f-rings into reduced archimedean f-algebras, ψU if and only if v ψU, and vu is a monoreflection into reduced archimedean f-algebras with identity. This work was motivated by the question put to us by G. Buskes at Ord05: what maps are o-extendable; i.e., extend over the orthomorphism rings? (The orthomorphism ring oA is a unital extension of uA, and any o-extendable map lies in U.) While a complete answer seems quite complicated (if not hopelessly out of reach), here we shall identify a class of objects D for which oD = vuD and all maps from D lie in U, hence any map from D to a reduced archimedean f-algebra is o-extendable.  相似文献

We define a function theory and a Hardy space on the dyadic tree, which extend in a natural way the notion of analytic functions, Cauchy's formula and the case of the Hardy space of the open unit disk.
