We introduce properties of Boolean algebras which are closely related to the existence of winning strategies in the Banach‐Mazur Boolean game. A σ‐short Boolean algebra is a Boolean algebra that has a dense subset in which every strictly descending sequence of length ω does not have a nonzero lower bound. In this paper, we introduce and investigate the functions of (μ,ν)‐pseudo S‐asymptotically ω‐periodic of class r(class infinity). We systematically explore the properties of these functions in Banach space including composition theorems. As applications, we establish some sufficient criteria for (μ,ν)‐pseudo S‐asymptotic ω‐periodicity of (nonautonomous) semilinear integro‐differential equations with finite or infinite delay. Finally, some interesting examples are presented to illustrate the main findings.  相似文献

The concept of (α,ψ)‐contractions was introduced by Samet et al. in this paper, we introduce (α,ψ)‐generalized contractions in a Hausdorff partial metric space. We discuss its significance and obtain some common fixed point theorems for a pair of self‐mappings. Some examples are given to support the theory.  相似文献

A 3‐uniform friendship hypergraph is a 3‐uniform hypergraph in which, for all triples of vertices x, y, z there exists a unique vertex w, such that , and are edges in the hypergraph. Sós showed that such 3‐uniform friendship hypergraphs on n vertices exist with a so‐called universal friend if and only if a Steiner triple system, exists. Hartke and Vandenbussche used integer programming to search for 3‐uniform friendship hypergraphs without a universal friend and found one on 8, three nonisomorphic on 16 and one on 32 vertices. So far, these five hypergraphs are the only known 3‐uniform friendship hypergraphs. In this paper we construct an infinite family of 3‐uniform friendship hypergraphs on 2k vertices and edges. We also construct 3‐uniform friendship hypergraphs on 20 and 28 vertices using a computer. Furthermore, we define r‐uniform friendship hypergraphs and state that the existence of those with a universal friend is dependent on the existence of a Steiner system, . As a result hereof, we know infinitely many 4‐uniform friendship hypergraphs with a universal friend. Finally we show how to construct a 4‐uniform friendship hypergraph on 9 vertices and with no universal friend.  相似文献

The application of the general tensor norms theory of Defant and Floret to the ideal of (p, σ)‐absolutely continuous operators of Matter, 0 < σ < 1, 1 ≤ p < ∞ leads to the study of gp′,σ‐nuclear and gp′,σ‐integral operators. Characterizations of such operators has been obtained previously in the case p > 1. The aim of this paper is to develop a fully discrete ( T ,ψ)‐ψe finite element decoupled scheme to solve time‐dependent eddy current problems with multiply‐connected conductors. By making ‘cuts’ and setting jumps of ψe across the cuts in nonconductive domain, the uniqueness of ψe is guaranteed. Distinguished from the traditional T ‐ ψ method, our decoupled scheme solves the potentials T and ψψe separately in two different simple equation systems, which avoids solving a saddle‐point equation system and leads to a remarkable reduction in computational efforts. The energy‐norm error estimate of the fully discrete decoupled scheme is provided. Finally, the scheme is applied to solve two benchmark problems—TEAM Workshop Problems 7 and IEEJ model. We prove several dichotomy theorems which extend some known results on σ‐bounded and σ‐compact pointsets. In particular we show that, given a finite number of $\Delta ^{1}_{1}$ equivalence relations $\mathrel {\mathsf {F}}_1,\dots ,\mathrel {\mathsf {F}}_n$, any $\Sigma ^{1}_{1}$ set A of the Baire space either is covered by compact $\Delta ^{1}_{1}$ sets and lightface $\Delta ^{1}_{1}$ equivalence classes of the relations $\mathrel {\mathsf {F}}_i$, or A contains a superperfect subset which is pairwise $\mathrel {\mathsf {F}}_i$‐inequivalent for all i = 1, …, n. Further generalizations to $\Sigma ^{1}_{2}$ sets A are obtained.  相似文献

Let h : ? → ? be a computable function. A real number x is called h‐monotonically computable (h‐mc, for short) if there is a computable sequence (xs) of rational numbers which converges to x h‐monotonically in the sense that h(n)|xxn| ≥ |xxm| for all n andm > n. In this paper we investigate classes hMC of h‐mc real numbers for different computable functions h. Especially, for computable functions h : ? → (0, 1)?, we show that the class hMC coincides with the classes of computable and semi‐computable real numbers if and only if Σi∈?(1 – h(i)) = ∞and the sum Σi∈?(1 – h(i)) is a computable real number, respectively. On the other hand, if h(n) ≥ 1 and h converges to 1, then hMC = SC (the class of semi‐computable reals) no matter how fast h converges to 1. Furthermore, for any constant c > 1, if h is increasing and converges to c, then hMC = cMC . This paper describes the notion of σ‐symmetry, which extends the one of λ‐symmetry, and its application to reduction procedures of systems of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) and of dynamical systems (DS) as well. We also consider orbital symmetries, which give rise to a different form of reduction of DS. Finally, we discuss how DS can be transformed into higher order ODEs, and how these symmetry properties of the DS can be transferred into reduction properties of the corresponding ODEs. In this paper, using the Riemann‐Liouville fractional integral with respect to another function and the ψ?Hilfer fractional derivative, we propose a fractional Volterra integral equation and the fractional Volterra integro‐differential equation. In this sense, for this new fractional Volterra integro‐differential equation, we study the Ulam‐Hyers stability and, also, the fractional Volterra integral equation in the Banach space, by means of the Banach fixed‐point theorem. As an application, we present the Ulam‐Hyers stability using the α‐resolvent operator in the Sobolev space .  相似文献

We study ω‐categorical weakly o‐minimal expansions of Boolean lattices. We show that a structure ?? = (A,≤, ?) expanding a Boolean lattice (A,≤) by a finite sequence I of ideals of A closed under the usual Heyting algebra operations is weakly o‐minimal if and only if it is ω‐categorical, and hence if and only if A/I has only finitely many atoms for every I ∈ ?. We propose other related examples of weakly o‐minimal ω‐categorical models in this framework, and we examine the internal structure of these models.  相似文献

In this paper, we constructed the split‐step θ (SSθ)‐method for stochastic age‐dependent population equations. The main aim of this paper is to investigate the convergence of the SS θ‐method for stochastic age‐dependent population equations. It is proved that the proposed method is convergent with strong order 1/2 under given conditions. Finally, an example is simulated to verify the results obtained from the theory, and comparative analysis with Euler method is given, the results show the higher accuracy of the SS θ‐method. This paper deals with the non‐uniform dependence and persistence properties for a coupled Camassa–Holm equations. Using the method of approximate solutions in conjunction with well‐posedness estimate, it is proved that the solution map of the Cauchy problem for this coupled Camassa–Holm equation is not uniformly continuous in Sobolev spaces Hs with s > 3/2. Let M be an MV‐algebra and ΩM be the set of all σ ‐valuations from M into the MV‐unit interval. This paper focuses on the characterization of MV‐algebras using σ ‐valuations of MV‐algebras and proves that a σ ‐complete MV‐algebra is σ ‐regular, which means that ab if and only if v (a) ≤ v (b) for any v ∈ ΩM. Then one can introduce in a natural way a fuzzy topology δ on ΩM. The representation theorem forMV‐algebras is established by means of fuzzy topology. We consider the sets definable in the countable models of a weakly o‐minimal theory T of totally ordered structures. We investigate under which conditions their Boolean algebras are isomorphic (hence T is p‐ω‐categorical), in other words when each of these definable sets admits, if infinite, an infinite coinfinite definable subset. We show that this is true if and only if T has no infinite definable discrete (convex) subset. We examine the same problem among arbitrary theories of mere linear orders. In this paper, we investigate the locally uniformly non‐square point of Orlicz–Bochner sequence spaces endowed with Luxemburg norm. Analysing and combining the generating function M and properties of the real Banach space X , we get sufficient and necessary conditions of locally uniformly non‐square point, which contributes to criteria for locally uniform non‐squareness in Orlicz–Bochner sequence spaces. The results generalize the corresponding results in the classical Orlicz sequence spaces.  相似文献

We establish some results on the Borel and difference hierarchies in φ‐spaces. Such spaces are the topological counterpart of the algebraic directed‐complete partial orderings. E.g., we prove analogs of the Hausdorff Theorem relating the difference and Borel hierarchies and of the Lavrentyev Theorem on the non‐collapse of the difference hierarchy. Some of our results generalize results of A. Tang for the space . We also sketch some older applications of these hierarchies and present a new application to the question of characterizing the ω‐ary Boolean operations generating a given level of the Wadge hierarchy from the open sets.
