Objectives: In the paper, two new reliable analytical methods have been devised for getting new exact analytical solutions of wick-type stochastic time-fractional Benjamin-Bona-Mahony (BBM) equation. Moreover, the Hermite transform and inverse Hermite transform have been utilized for converting fractional stochastic differential equation to deterministic fractional partial differential equation and vice versa respectively. Here for reducing fractional partial differential equations (FPDE) to the ordinary differential equation (ODE), fractional complex transform has been utilized.

Methods: The authors have used a newly proposed method and Kudryshov method for getting the solutions for wick-type stochastic time-fractional Benjamin-Bona-Mahony (BBM) equation.

Results: By using two reliable methods, here, the authors find the new exact solutions for the governing equations.

Conclusion: Two new approaches to find solutions of the aforementioned equation have been established. Also, the new exact solutions have been obtained for stochastic differential equation by using two methods.  相似文献

The use of recorded lecture videos (RLVs) in mathematics instruction continues to advance. Prior research at the post-secondary level has indicated a tendency for RLV use in mathematics to be negatively correlated with academic performance, although it is unclear whether this is because regular users are generally weaker mathematics students or because RLV use is somehow depressing student learning. Through the lens of cognitive engagement, a quasi-experimental pre- and post-test design study was conducted to investigate the latter possibility.

Cognitive engagement was operationalized using the Revised Two-Factor Study Process Questionnaire (R-SPQ-2F), which measures learning approaches on two major scales: surface and deep. In two mathematics courses at two universities, in Australia and the UK, participants were administered the questionnaire near the course start and finish. Overall findings were similar in both contexts: a reduction in live lecture attendance coupled with a dependence on RLVs was associated with an increase in surface approaches to learning.

This study has important implications for future pedagogical development and adds to the sense of urgency regarding research into best practices using RLVs in mathematics.  相似文献

This research work is focused on the construction of an accurate longwave/shortwave radiation model on a tunnel greenhouse pseudo-bond graph model, widely used in Tunisia. This model includes sun position, useful incoming solar radiation model, sky longwave radiation model, inside longwave and shortwave radiation model. The key idea is to use bond graphs allowing a lumped modelling approach which is suitable for control applications. Furthermore, an evaluation of some longwave radiative model components was made, noting that these components are particularly sensitive regarding to the thermal behaviour of the model.

Experimental tunnel greenhouse data are used as validation elements for the present model with globally good results. A comparative study was also performed between the present model and a previous bond graph model containing a simplistic radiative model. Practical simulation results show a clear improvement compared with the previous model.  相似文献

We consider Schelling’s bounded neighborhood model (BNM) of unorganized segregation, from the perspective of modern dynamical systems theory. We carry out a complete quantitative analysis of the system for linear tolerance schedules. We derive a fully predictive model and associate each term with a social meaning. We recover and generalize Schelling’s qualitative results.

For the case of unlimited population movement, we derive exact formulae for regions in parameter space where stable integrated population mixes can occur, and show how neighborhood tipping can be explained in terms of basins of attraction.

When population movement is limited, we derive exact criteria for the occurrence of new population mixes.

For nonlinear tolerance schedules, we illustrate our approach with numerical simulations.  相似文献

Group coextensions of monoids, which generalise Schreier-type extensions of groups, have originally been defined by P.A. Grillet and J. Leech. The present paper deals with pomonoids, that is, monoids that are endowed with a compatible partial order. Following the lines of the unordered case, we define pogroup coextensions of pomonoids. We furthermore generalise the construction to the case that pomonoids instead of pogroups are used as the extending structures.

The intended application lies in fuzzy logic, where triangular norms are those binary operations that are commonly used to interpret the conjunction. We present conditions under which the coextension of a finite totally ordered monoid leads to a triangular norm. Triangular norms of a certain type can therefore be classified on the basis of the presented results.  相似文献

Extending previous searches for prime Fibonacci and Lucas numbers, all probable prime Fibonacci numbers have been determined for and all probable prime Lucas numbers have been determined for . A rigorous proof of primality is given for and for numbers with , , , , , , , , the prime having 3020 digits. Primitive parts and of composite numbers and have also been tested for probable primality. Actual primality has been established for many of them, including 22 with more than 1000 digits. In a Supplement to the paper, factorizations of numbers and are given for as far as they have been completed, adding information to existing factor tables covering .

There are many examples in Numerical Analysis where convergence of approximate solutions to a solution of the original problem can not be shown in the sense of a norm topology but in the sense of weak convergence ([6], [9], [10]).

Moreover, (global) solutions are often not unique such that a concept of set convergence instead of convergence in the usual sense is more convenient and reasonable ([1], [2]). This particularly holds if weakly formulated problems are under consideration.

When dealing with problems where both situations coincide, a concept of weak set convergence seems to be adequate. Such a concept is developed and will be applied to certain projections methods.  相似文献

A search for prime factors of the generalized Fermat numbers has been carried out for all pairs with and GCD. The search limit on the factors, which all have the form , was for and for . Many larger primes of this form have also been tried as factors of . Several thousand new factors were found, which are given in our tables.-For the smaller of the numbers, i.e. for , or, if , for , the cofactors, after removal of the factors found, were subjected to primality tests, and if composite with , searched for larger factors by using the ECM, and in some cases the MPQS, PPMPQS, or SNFS. As a result all numbers with are now completely factored.

Let be prime and let be the finite field with elements. In this note we investigate the arithmetic properties of the Gaussian hypergeometric functions

We obtain bounds and congruence properties for these values. We also show, using a theorem of Elkies, that there are infinitely many primes for which is zero; however if or , then the set of such primes has density zero. In contrast, if or , then there are only finitely many primes for which Greene and Stanton proved a conjecture of Evans on the value of a certain character sum which from this point of view follows from the fact that is an elliptic curve with complex multiplication. We completely classify all such CM curves and give their corresponding character sums in the sense of Evans using special Jacobsthal sums. As a consequence of this classification, we obtain new proofs of congruences for generalized Apéry numbers, as well as a few new ones, and we answer a question of Koike by evaluating over every
