Let F be an \(L^2\)-normalized Hecke Maaß cusp form for \(\Gamma _0(N) \subseteq {\mathrm{SL}}_{n}({\mathbb {Z}})\) with Laplace eigenvalue \(\lambda _F\). If \(\Omega \) is a compact subset of \(\Gamma _0(N)\backslash {\mathrm{PGL}}_n/\mathrm{PO}_{n}\), we show the bound \(\Vert F|_{\Omega }\Vert _{\infty } \ll _{ \Omega } N^{\varepsilon } \lambda _F^{n(n-1)/8 - \delta }\) for some constant \(\delta = \delta _n> 0\) depending only on n.  相似文献

We investigate boundary representations in the context where Hilbert spaces are replaced by \(\hbox {C}^{*}\)-modules over abelian von Neumann algebras and apply this to study \(\hbox {C}^{*}\)-extreme points. We present an (unexpected) example of a weak* compact \(\mathcal {B}\)-convex subset of \({\mathbb {B}}(\mathcal {H})\) without \(\mathcal {B}\)-extreme points, where \(\mathcal {B}\) is an abelian von Neumann algebra on a Hilbert space \(\mathcal {H}\). On the other hand, if \(\mathcal {A}\) is a von Neumann algebra with a separable predual and whose finite part is injective, we show that each weak* compact \(\mathcal {A}\)-convex subset of \(\ell ^{\infty }(\mathcal {A})\) is generated by its \(\mathcal {A}\)-extreme points.  相似文献

In this paper, we study \(\lambda \)-constacyclic codes over the ring \(R=\mathbb {Z}_4+u\mathbb {Z}_4\) where \(u^{2}=1\), for \(\lambda =3+2u\) and \(2+3u\). Two new Gray maps from R to \(\mathbb {Z}_4^{3}\) are defined with the goal of obtaining new linear codes over \(\mathbb {Z}_4\). The Gray images of \(\lambda \)-constacyclic codes over R are determined. We then conducted a computer search and obtained many \(\lambda \)-constacyclic codes over R whose \(\mathbb {Z}_4\)-images have better parameters than currently best-known linear codes over \(\mathbb {Z}_4\).  相似文献

We consider microlocal defect distributions associated to a weakly convergent sequences \(u_n\) in \(H^{-s,p}_{\Lambda }\) and \(v_n\) in \(H^{s+m,q}_{\Lambda }\) through the space of pseudo-differential operators with the symbols in \((s^{m,N+1}_\Lambda )_0\). Symbols correspond to a weight function \(\Lambda \) determining a quasi-elliptic symbol. Results are applied to partial differential equations with symbols related to weights of the type \(\Lambda \).  相似文献

In this paper, we mainly study the theory of linear codes over the ring \(R =\mathbb {Z}_4+u\mathbb {Z}_4+v\mathbb {Z}_4+uv\mathbb {Z}_4\). By using the Chinese Remainder Theorem, we prove that R is isomorphic to a direct sum of four rings. We define a Gray map \(\Phi \) from \(R^{n}\) to \(\mathbb {Z}_4^{4n}\), which is a distance preserving map. The Gray image of a cyclic code over R is a linear code over \(\mathbb {Z}_4\). We also discuss some properties of MDS codes over R. Furthermore, we study the MacWilliams identities of linear codes over R and give the generator polynomials of cyclic codes over R.  相似文献

We show that several theorems about Polish spaces, which depend on the axiom of choice (\(\mathcal {AC}\)), have interesting corollaries that are theorems of the theory \(\mathcal {ZF} + \mathcal {DC}\), where \(\mathcal {DC}\) is the axiom of dependent choices. Surprisingly it is natural to use the full \(\mathcal {AC}\) to prove the existence of these proofs; in fact we do not even know the proofs in \(\mathcal {ZF} + \mathcal {DC}\). Let \(\mathcal {AD}\) denote the axiom of determinacy. We show also, in the theory \(\mathcal {ZF} + \mathcal {AD} + V = L(\mathbb {R})\), a theorem which strenghtens and generalizes the theorem of Drinfeld (Funct Anal Appl 18:245–246, 1985) and Margulis (Monatshefte Math 90:233–235, 1980) about the unicity of Lebesgue’s measure. This generalization is false in \(\mathcal {ZFC}\), but assuming the existence of large enough cardinals it is true in the model \(\langle L(\mathbb {R}),\in \rangle \).  相似文献

The first main theorem of this paper asserts that any \((\sigma , \tau )\)-derivation d, under certain conditions, either is a \(\sigma \)-derivation or is a scalar multiple of (\(\sigma - \tau \)), i.e. \(d = \lambda (\sigma - \tau )\) for some \(\lambda \in \mathbb {C} \backslash \{0\}\). By using this characterization, we achieve a result concerning the automatic continuity of \((\sigma , \tau \))-derivations on Banach algebras which reads as follows. Let \(\mathcal {A}\) be a unital, commutative, semi-simple Banach algebra, and let \(\sigma , \tau : \mathcal {A} \rightarrow \mathcal {A}\) be two distinct endomorphisms such that \(\varphi \sigma (\mathbf e )\) and \(\varphi \tau (\mathbf e )\) are non-zero complex numbers for all \(\varphi \in \Phi _\mathcal {A}\). If \(d : \mathcal {A} \rightarrow \mathcal {A}\) is a \((\sigma , \tau )\)-derivation such that \(\varphi d\) is a non-zero linear functional for every \(\varphi \in \Phi _\mathcal {A}\), then d is automatically continuous. As another objective of this research, we prove that if \(\mathfrak {M}\) is a commutative von Neumann algebra and \(\sigma :\mathfrak {M} \rightarrow \mathfrak {M}\) is an endomorphism, then every Jordan \(\sigma \)-derivation \(d:\mathfrak {M} \rightarrow \mathfrak {M}\) is identically zero.  相似文献

We consider the quantum symmetric pair \((\mathcal {U}_{q}(\mathfrak {su}(3)), \mathcal {B})\) where \(\mathcal {B}\) is a right coideal subalgebra. We prove that all finite-dimensional irreducible representations of \(\mathcal {B}\) are weight representations and are characterised by their highest weight and dimension. We show that the restriction of a finite-dimensional irreducible representation of \(\mathcal {U}_{q}(\mathfrak {su}(3))\) to \(\mathcal {B}\) decomposes multiplicity free into irreducible representations of \(\mathcal {B}\). Furthermore we give explicit expressions for the highest weight vectors in this decomposition in terms of dual q-Krawtchouk polynomials.  相似文献

The purpose of this article is to extend to \(\mathbb {R}^{n}\) known results in dimension 2 concerning the structure of a Hilbert space with reproducing kernel of the space of Herglotz wave functions. These functions are the solutions of Helmholtz equation in \(\mathbb {R} ^{n}\) that are the Fourier transform of measures supported in the unit sphere with density in \(L^{2}(\mathbb {S}^{n-1})\). As a natural extension of this, we define Banach spaces of solutions of the Helmholtz equation in \(\mathbb {R}^{n}\) belonging to weighted Sobolev type spaces \(\mathcal {H}^{p}\) having in a non local norm that involves radial derivatives and spherical gradients. We calculate the reproducing kernel of the Herglotz wave functions and study in \(\mathcal {H}^{p}\) and in mixed norm spaces, the continuity of the orthogonal projection \(\mathcal {P}\) of \(\mathcal {H}^{2}\) onto the Herglotz wave functions.  相似文献

We prove that the only symplectic semifield spreads of \(\hbox {PG}(5,q^2)\), \(q\ge 2^{14}\) even, whose associated semifield has center containing \({\mathbb F}_q\), is the Desarguesian spread, by proving that the only \({\mathbb F}_q\)-linear set of rank 6 disjoint from the secant variety of the Veronese surface of \(\hbox {PG}(5,q^2)\) is a plane with three points of the Veronese surface of \(\hbox {PG}(5,q^6){\setminus } \hbox {PG}(5,q^2)\).  相似文献

We prove that the class of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_2[u]\)-linear codes is exactly the class of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\)-linear codes with automorphism group of even order. Using this characterization, we give examples of known codes, e.g. perfect codes, which have a nontrivial \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_2[u]\) structure. Moreover, we exhibit some examples of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\)-linear codes which are not \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_2[u]\)-linear. Also, we state that the duality of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_2[u]\)-linear codes is the same as the duality of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\)-linear codes. Finally, we prove that the class of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_4\)-linear codes which are also \(\mathbb {Z}_2\)-linear is strictly contained in the class of \(\mathbb {Z}_2\mathbb {Z}_2[u]\)-linear codes.  相似文献

Let \(\mathbb {F}_{p^m}\) be a finite field of cardinality \(p^m\), where p is a prime, and kN be any positive integers. We denote \(R_k=F_{p^m}[u]/\langle u^k\rangle =F_{p^m}+uF_{p^m}+\cdots +u^{k-1}F_{p^m}\) (\(u^k=0\)) and \(\lambda =a_0+a_1u+\cdots +a_{k-1}u^{k-1}\) where \(a_0, a_1,\ldots , a_{k-1}\in F_{p^m}\) satisfying \(a_0\ne 0\) and \(a_1=1\). Let r be a positive integer satisfying \(p^{r-1}+1\le k\le p^r\). First we define a Gray map from \(R_k\) to \(F_{p^m}^{p^r}\), then prove that the Gray image of any linear \(\lambda \)-constacyclic code over \(R_k\) of length N is a distance preserving linear \(a_0^{p^r}\)-constacyclic code over \(F_{p^m}\) of length \(p^rN\). Furthermore, the generator polynomials for each linear \(\lambda \)-constacyclic code over \(R_k\) of length N and its Gray image are given respectively. Finally, some optimal constacyclic codes over \(F_{3}\) and \(F_{5}\) are constructed.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate linear codes with complementary dual (LCD) codes and formally self-dual codes over the ring \(R=\mathbb {F}_{q}+v\mathbb {F}_{q}+v^{2}\mathbb {F}_{q}\), where \(v^{3}=v\), for q odd. We give conditions on the existence of LCD codes and present construction of formally self-dual codes over R. Further, we give bounds on the minimum distance of LCD codes over \(\mathbb {F}_q\) and extend these to codes over R.  相似文献

where \(\alpha \in (1/2, 1)\), \(\lambda >0\) is a parameter, \(L\in C(\mathbb {R}, \mathbb {R}^{n\times n})\) and \(W \in C^{1}(\mathbb {R} \times \mathbb {R}^n, \mathbb {R})\). Unlike most other papers on this problem, we require that L(t) is a positive semi-definite symmetric matrix for all \(t\in \mathbb {R}\), that is, \(L(t) \equiv 0\) is allowed to occur in some finite interval \(\mathbb {I}\) of \(\mathbb {R}\). Under some mild assumptions on W, we establish the existence of nontrivial weak solution, which vanish on \(\mathbb {R} \setminus \mathbb {I}\) as \(\lambda \rightarrow \infty ,\) and converge to \(\tilde{u}\) in \(H^{\alpha }(\mathbb {R})\); here \(\tilde{u} \in E_{0}^{\alpha }\) is nontrivial weak solution of the Dirichlet BVP for fractional Hamiltonian systems on the finite interval \(\mathbb {I}\). Furthermore, we give the multiplicity results for the above fractional Hamiltonian systems.

We determine the possible homogeneous weights of regular projective two-weight codes over \(\mathbb {Z}_{2^k}\) of length \(n>3\), with dual Krotov distance \(d^{\lozenge }\) at least four. The determination of the weights is based on parameter restrictions for strongly regular graphs applied to the coset graph of the dual code. When \(k=2\), we characterize the parameters of such codes as those of the inverse Gray images of \(\mathbb {Z}_4\)-linear Hadamard codes, which have been characterized by their types by several authors.  相似文献

We introduce the notion of \(\mathcal {R}_{\mu }\)-classical orthogonal polynomials, where \(\mathcal {R}_{\mu }\) is the degree raising shift operator for the sequence of Laguerre polynomials of parameter \(\mu \). Under appropriate assumptions on V(x), the existence of least energy sign-changing solution is obtained by combining the variational methods and the Nehari method.
