In this paper, we describe strong P-congruences and sublattice-structure of the strong P-congruence lattice CP(S) of a P-inversive semigroup S(P). It is proved that the set of all strong P-congruences CP(S) on S(P) is a complete lattice. A close link is discovered between the class of P-inversive semigroups and the well-known class of regular ⋆-semigroups. Further, we introduce concepts of strong normal partition/equivalence, C-trace/kernel and discuss some sublattices of CP(S). It is proved that the set of strong P-congruences, which have C-traces (C-kernels) equal to a given strong normal equivalence of P (C-kernel), is a complete sublattice of CP(S). It is also proved that the sublattices determined by C-trace-equaling relation θ and C-kernel-equaling relation κ, respectively, are complete sublattices of CP(S) and the greatest elements of these sublattices are given.  相似文献

We define strong and weak affinities of a number a for a sequence (xk ) denoted by L (a,(xk )) and U (a, (xk )) respectively. We show U (a,(xk )) > 0 if and only if the number a is a statistical limit point of the sequence (xk ). We consider the distribution of sequences with positive weak and strong measures of affinity within the space l of bounded sequences. The main result is that the set of bounded sequences with U (a,(xk )) > 0, that is, the set of sequences with statistical limit points, is a dense subset in l of the first category. We also show the set of sequences with positive strong affinities is a nowhere dense subset of l .  相似文献

We use the core model for the one strong cardinal to show that the Chang Conjecture (ℵ n+2, ℵ n+1) ⇒ (ℵ n+1, ℵ n ) together with 2 n − 1 = ℵ n implies, for 1<n<ω, the existence of an inner model with a strong cardinal. Restricted strong partially balanced t-designs were first formulated by Pei, Li, Wang and Safavi-Naini in investigation of authentication codes with arbitration. In this article, we will prove that splitting authentication codes that are multi-fold perfect against spoofing can be characterized in terms of restricted strong partially balanced t-designs. We will also investigate the existence of restricted strong partially balanced 3-designs RSPBD 3-(v, b, 3 × 2; λ1, λ2, 1, 0)s, and show that there exists an RSPBD 3-(v, b, 3 × 2; λ1, λ2, 1, 0) for any v o 9 (mod 16){v\equiv 9\ (\mbox{{\rm mod}}\ 16)} . As its application, we obtain a new infinite class of 3-fold perfect splitting authentication codes.  相似文献

The concept of enlargement of a generalized topology was introduced by á. Császár [4]. He also introduced the concepts of (κ,λ)-continuity and (κ μ ,λ ν)-continuity on enlargements. In this paper, we characterize the (κ,λ)-continuity and introduce the concept of strong (κ,λ)-continuity on enlargements. In particular, we study characterizations for the strong (κ,λ)-continuity and the relationships among (μ,ν)-continuity, (κ,λ)-continuity, strong (κ,λ)-continuity and (κ μ ,λ ν)-continuity.  相似文献

New sufficient conditions for the applicability of the strong law of large numbers to a sequence of dependent random variables X 1, X 2, …, with finite variances are established. No particular type of dependence between the random variables in the sequence is assumed. The statement of the theorem involves the classical condition Σ n (log2 n)2/n 2 < ∞, which appears in various theorems on the strong law of large numbers for sequences of random variables without the independence condition.  相似文献
