Coefficient Estimates for Certain Subclasses of Bi-Univalent Ma-Minda Mocanu-Convex Functions

In this paper, we introduce and investigate a new subclass of the function class Σ of bi-univalent functions of the Mocanu-convex type defined in the open unit disk, satisfy Ma and Minda subordination conditions. Furthermore, we find estimates on the Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients |a2| and |a3| for functions in the new subclass introduced here. Further Application of Hohlov operator to this class is obtained. Several(known or new) consequences of the results are also pointed out.

In this paper we introduce a new general subclass n,G∑ a,λ(A, B, α) of univalent functions related the known integral operator and differential operator. Some majorization results for n,G∑ a,λ(A, B, 1) as well as the other functions are given. Furthermore, we find the coefficients bounds on |a_2| and |a_3| for functions in*n,G∑ a,λ(A_1, B_1, A_2, B_2, α_1, α_2), which is the bi-univalent functions defined by n,G ∑a,λ(A, B, α) and subordination. By giving specific values of the parameters of our main results, several(known or new) consequences of main results are also discussed.     

On the Coefficients of Several Classes of Bi-univalent Functions Defined by Convolution

In this paper, we introduce several new subclasses of the function class Σ of bi-univalent functions analytic in the open unit disc defined by convolution.Furthermore, we investigate the bounds of the coefficients |a2| and |a3| for functions in these new subclasses. The results presented in this paper improve or generalize the recent works of other authors.

In this paper, we investigate the third Hankel determinant H_3(1) for the class H_σ~μ(λ, φ)(λ≥ 1, μ≥ 1) of Ma-Minda bi-univalent functions in the open unit disk D = {z : |z| 1} and obtain the upper bound of the above determinant H_3(1).     

Decomposition theorems and conjugate pair in D K spaces

Let K be a right-continuous and nondecreasing function.A function f analytic in the unit disk D belongs to the space DK if D|f(z)|2K(1- |z|2)dA(z) ∞.Decomposition theorems for DK spaces are established in this paper.As an application,we obtain a characterization of interpolation by functions in DKspaces.Furthermore,we characterize functions in DKspaces by conjugate pairs.

In this paper, we consider the problem of the uniqueness for meromorphic functions whose n-th derivatives share the same 1-points. The results in this paper are different from all of theorems given by H X Yi and C C Yang and other authors.

Let SH be the class of functions f = h + ˉg that are harmonic univalent and sensepreserving in the open unit disk U = {z ∈ C : |z| 1} for which f(0) = f′(0)-1 = 0. In the present paper, we introduce some new subclasses of SH consisting of univalent and sensepreserving functions defined by convolution and subordination. Sufficient coefficient conditions,distortion bounds, extreme points and convolution properties for functions of these classes are obtained. Also, we discuss the radii of starlikeness and convexity.     

ON CRITERIA FOR STARLIKENESS AND CONVEXITY OF ANALYTIC FUNCTIONS

In this paper the authors study (1 - γ zf“(z)/f‘(z))/(zf‘(z)/f(z)) as a criteria for starlikeness and convexity. Sharp upper bound of |α2| and of the Fekete-Szegoe functional |α3-μα2^2| is given for a class of analytic functions defined by using this expression.

Some Sharpening and Generalizations of a Result of T. J. Rivlin

Let p(z)=a_0+a_1z+a_2z~2+a_3z~3+···+a_nz~n be a polynomial of degree n.Rivlin[12]proved that if p(z)≠0 in the unit disk,then for 0r≤1,max|z|=r|p(z)|≥((r+1)/2)~nmax|p(z)||z|=1.In this paper,we prove a sharpening and generalization of this result and show by means of examples that for some polynomials our result can significantly improve the bound obtained by the Rivlin’s Theorem.

The Krzyz Problem and Polynomials with Zeros on the Unit Circle

Let $ \Pi_{n,M} $ be the class of all polynomials $ p(z) = \sum _{0}^{n} a_{k}z^{k} $ of degree n which have all their zeros on the unit circle $ |z| = 1$ , and satisfy $ M = \max _{|z| = 1}|\,p(z)| $ . Let $ \mu _{k,n} = \sup _{p\in \Pi _{n,M}} |a_{k}| $ . Saff and Sheil-Small asked for the value of $\overline {\lim }_{n\rightarrow \infty }\mu _{k,n} $ . We find an equivalence between this problem and the Krzyz problem on the coefficients of bounded non-vanishing functions. As a result we compute $$ \overline {\lim }_{n\rightarrow \infty }\mu _{k,n} = {{M} \over {e}}\quad {\rm for}\ k = 1,2,3,4,5.$$ We also obtain some bounds for polynomials with zeros on the unit circle. These are related to a problem of Hayman.
