A CLASS OF NONLINEAR PREDATOR-PREY SINGULARLY PERTURBED ROBIN PROBLEMS FOR REACTION DIFFUSION SYSTEM

A class of nonlinear predator-prey singularly perturbed Robin problems for reaction diffusion systems are considered. Under suitable conditions, using the theory of differential inequalities the existence and asymptotic behavior of solution for the initial boundary value problems are studied.

THE STABILITY OF θ-METHODS FOR PANTOGRAPH DELAY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

This paper deals with the numerical solution of initial value problems for pantograph differential equations with variable delays. We investigate the stability of one leg θ-methods in the numerical solution of these problems. Sufficient conditions for the asymptotic stability of θ-methods are given by Fourier analysis and Ergodic theory.

And then using the theory of differential inequalities the asymptotic behavior of solution for the initial boundary value problems is studied. Finally the existence and uniqueness of solution for the original problem and the uniformly valid asymptotic estimation are discussed.

ENERGY ESTIMATES FOR DELAY DIFFUSION-REACTION EQUATIONS

In this paper we consider nonlinear delay diffusion-reaction equations with initial and Dirichlet boundary conditions. The behaviour and the stability of the solution of such initial boundary value problems （IBVPs） are studied using the energy method. Simple numerical methods are considered for the computation of numerical approximations to the solution of the nonlinear IBVPs. Using the discrete energy method we study the stability and convergence of the numerical approximations. Numerical experiments are carried out to illustrate our theoretical results.

Variation formulas of solutions and optimal control problems for differential equations with retarded argument

The authors prove a theorem on the continuous dependence of solutions of nonlinear systems of differential equations with variable delay on the perturbations of initial data (initial instant, initial function, and initial value of the trajectory) and the right-hand side in the case where these perturbations are small in the Euclidean and integral topology, respectively. The variation formulas of solutions of a differential equation with discontinuous and continuous initial condition are deduced; as compared with those known earlier, these formulas take into account the variation of the initial instant and the discontinuity and continuity of the initial data. A necessary condition for criticality of mappings defined on a finitely locally convex set is obtained. The quasiconvexity of filters in studying optimal problems with delays in controls is proved. Necessary optimality conditions and existence theorems are proved for optimal problems with variable delays in phase coordinates and controls having a nonfixed initial instant, a discontinuous and a continuous initial condition, and functional and boundary conditions of general form. We consider infinite horizon fractional variational problems, where the fractional derivative is defined in the sense of Caputo. Necessary optimality conditions for higher-order variational problems and optimal control problems are obtained. Transversality conditions are obtained in the case state functions are free at the initial time.
