In this article, the authors introduce the concept of shadowable points for set-valued dynamical systems, the pointwise version of the shadowing property, and prove that a set-valued dynamical system has the shadowing property iff every point in the phase space is shadowable; every chain transitive set-valued dynamical system has either the shadowing property or no shadowable points; and for a set-valued dynamical system there exists a shadowable point iff there exists a minimal shadowable point. In the end, it is proved that a set-valued dynamical system with the shadowing property is totally transitive iff it is mixing and iff it has the specification property.  相似文献

In this paper, we develop dissipativity theory for discontinuous dynamical systems. Specifically, using set-valued supply rate maps and set-valued connective supply rate maps consisting of locally Lebesgue integrable supply rates and connective supply rates, respectively, and set-valued storage maps consisting of piecewise continuous storage functions, dissipativity properties for discontinuous dynamical systems are presented. Furthermore, extended Kalman–Yakubovich–Popov set-valued conditions, in terms of the discontinuous system dynamics, characterizing dissipativity via generalized Clarke gradients and locally Lipschitz continuous storage functions are derived. Finally, these results are used to develop feedback interconnection stability results for discontinuous dynamical systems by appropriately combining the set-valued storage maps for the forward and feedback systems.  相似文献

Strongly negatively invariant compact sets of set-valued autonomous and nonautonomous dynamical systems on a complete metric space, the latter formulated in terms of processes, are shown to contain a weakly positively invariant family and hence entire solutions. For completeness the strongly positively invariant case is also considered, where the obtained invariant family is strongly invariant. Both discrete and continuous time systems are treated. In the nonautonomous case, the various types of invariant families are in fact composed of subsets of the state space that are mapped onto each other by the set-valued process. A simple example shows the usefulness of the result for showing the occurrence of a bifurcation in a set-valued dynamical system.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the concepts of the set-valued dynamical systems of asymptotic contractions of Meir–Keeler type and set-valued dynamical systems of strict contractions in uniform spaces and we present a method which is useful for establishing conditions guaranteeing the existence and uniqueness of endpoints of these contractions and the convergence to these endpoints of all generalized sequences of iterations of these contractions. The result, concerning the investigations of problems of the set-valued asymptotic fixed point theory, include some well-known results of Meir and Keeler, Kirk and Suzuki concerning the asymptotic fixed point theory of single-valued maps in metric spaces. The result, concerning set-valued strict contractions (in which the contractive coefficient is not constant), is different from the result of Yuan concerning the existence of endpoints of Tarafdar–Vyborny generalized contractions (in which the contractive coefficient is constant) in bounded metric spaces and provides some examples of Tarafdar–Yuan topological contractions in compact uniform spaces. Definitions and results presented here are new for set-valued dynamical systems in uniform, locally convex and metric spaces and even for single-valued maps. Examples show a fundamental difference between our results and the well-known ones.  相似文献

In this paper, we develop dissipativity notions for dynamical systems with discontinuous vector fields. Specifically, we consider dynamical systems with Lebesgue measurable and locally essentially bounded vector fields characterized by differential inclusions involving Filippov set-valued maps specifying a set of directions for the system velocity and admitting Filippov solutions with absolutely continuous curves. In particular, we introduce a generalized definition of dissipativity for discontinuous dynamical systems in terms of set-valued supply rate maps and set-valued storage maps consisting of locally Lebesgue integrable supply rates and Lipschitz continuous storage functions, respectively. In addition, we introduce the notion of a set-valued available storage map and a set-valued required supply map, and show that if these maps have closed convex images they specialize to single-valued maps corresponding to the smallest available storage and the largest required supply of the differential inclusion, respectively. Furthermore, we show that all system storage functions are bounded from above by the largest required supply and bounded from below by the smallest available storage, and hence, a dissipative differential inclusion can deliver to its surroundings only a fraction of its generalized stored energy and can store only a fraction of the generalized work done to it. Moreover, extended Kalman–Yakubovich–Popov conditions, in terms of the discontinuous system dynamics, characterizing dissipativity via generalized Clarke gradients and locally Lipschitz continuous storage functions are derived. Finally, these results are then used to develop feedback interconnection stability results for discontinuous systems thereby providing a generalization of the small gain and positivity theorems to systems with discontinuous vector fields.  相似文献

The problem of estimating trajectory tubes of a nonlinear control dynamical system with uncertainty in initial data is considered. It is assumed that the dynamical system has a special structure, in which nonlinear terms are quadratic in phase coordinates and the values of the uncertain initial states and admissible controls are subject to ellipsoidal constraints. Differential equations are found that describe the dynamics of the ellipsoidal estimates of reachable sets of the nonlinear dynamical system under consideration. To estimate reachable sets of the nonlinear differential inclusion corresponding to the control system, we use results from the theory of ellipsoidal estimation and the theory of evolution equations for set-valued states of dynamical systems under uncertainty.  相似文献

A definition of hyperbolicity for dynamical systems generated by set-valued mappings of general form in terms of local selectors is given. It is shown that a system hyperbolic in this sense has the shadowing and inverse shadowing properties. It is also shown that the hyperbolicity property holds true for a certain class of set-valued mappings where images of points are convex polytopes. Bibliography: 13 titles.  相似文献

The article is devoted to the study of the relation between forward and pullback attractors of set-valued nonautonomous dynamical systems (cocycles). Here it is proved that every compact global forward attractor is also a pullback attractor of the set-valued nonautonomous dynamical system. The inverse statement, generally speaking, is not true, but we prove that every global pullback attractor of an α-condensing set-valued cocycle is always a local forward attractor. The obtained general results are applied while studying periodic and homogeneous systems. We give also a new criterion of the absolute asymptotic stability of nonstationary discrete linear inclusions. Starting from an improved version of the bicomplex structure associated the continual Lie algebra with non-commutative base algebra, we obtain dynamical systems resulting from the bicomplex conditions. General expressions for conserved currents associated to a continual Lie algebra bicomplex are found explicitly in two first orders. The Moyal-product counterparts for two-dimensional Ricci and Calabi flow equations depending on non-commutative variables are introduced. The Morse decomposition theory for nonautonomous general dynamical systems (set-valued dynamical systems) and differential inclusions is established. The stability of Morse decompositions of pullback attractors is also addressed.  相似文献

Summary. In this paper we introduce a new infinite-dimensional pencil of Hamiltonian structures. These Poisson tensors appear naturally as the ones governing the evolution of the curvatures of certain flows of curves in 3-dimensional Riemannian manifolds with constant curvature. The curves themselves are evolving following arclength-preserving geometric evolutions for which the variation of the curve is an invariant combination of the tangent, normal, and binormal vectors. Under very natural conditions, the evolution of the curvatures will be Hamiltonian and, in some instances, bi-Hamiltonian and completely integrable. We introduce fractional monodromy in order to characterize certain non-isolated critical values of the energy–momentum map of integrable Hamiltonian dynamical systems represented by nonlinear resonant two-dimensional oscillators. We give the formal mathematical definition of fractional monodromy, which is a generalization of the definition of monodromy used by other authors before. We prove that the 1:( − 2) resonant oscillator system has monodromy matrix with half-integer coefficients and discuss manifestations of this monodromy in quantum systems. We examine a notion of generalized convex set-valued mapping, extending the notions of a convex relation and a convex process. Under general conditions, we establish duality results for composite set-valued mappings and for convex programming problems involving convex set-valued mappings. We also present applications to the study of economic dynamical systems, by obtaining the characteristics of optimal paths generated by convex processes, and to optimization problems of a certain class of positively homogeneous increasing functions.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new concept called ‘a pair of coincident invariant measures’ and establish the existence of coincident invariant measures for set-valued dynamical systems. As applications, we first give the existence of minimal invariant measures (see definition below) for a set-valued mapping, and then set-valued versions of Poincare's recurrence theorems are also derived.  相似文献

We construct a cohomological index of the Fuller type for set-valued flows in normed linear spaces satisfying the properties of existence, excision, additivity, homotopy and topological invariance. In particular, the constructed index detects periodic orbits and stationary points of set-valued dynamical systems, i.e., those generated by differential inclusions. The basic methods to calculate the index are also presented.  相似文献

In previous papers of the author, the cascade search principle was proposed, which makes it possible to construct a set-valued self-map of a metric spaceX from a set-valued functional or a collection of set-valued maps of X so that the new map generates a multicascade, i.e., a set-valued discrete dynamical system whose limit set coincides with the zero set of the given functional, with the coincidence set of the given collection, or with the common preimage of a closed subspace under the maps from this collection. Stability issues of cascade search were studied. This paper is devoted to a generalization and local modifications of the cascade search principle and their applications to problems concerning local search and approximation of common preimages of subspaces and coincidence sets for finite collections of set-valued maps of metric spaces.  相似文献

This article is devoted to the study of multivalued semigroups and their asymptotic behavior, with particular attention to iterations of set-valued mappings. After developing a general abstract framework, we present an application to a time discretization of the two-dimensional Navier?CStokes equations. More precisely, we prove that the fully implicit Euler scheme generates a family of discrete multivalued dynamical systems, whose global attractors converge to the global attractor of the continuous system as the time-step parameter approaches zero.  相似文献
