For a nonnegative self-adjoint operator A0 acting on a Hilbert space H singular perturbations of the form A0+V, are studied under some additional requirements of symmetry imposed on the initial operator A0 and the singular elements ψj. A concept of symmetry is defined by means of a one-parameter family of unitary operators U that is motivated by results due to R.S. Phillips. The abstract framework to study singular perturbations with symmetries developed in the paper allows one to incorporate physically meaningful connections between singular potentials V and the corresponding self-adjoint realizations of A0+V. The results are applied for the investigation of singular perturbations of the Schrödinger operator in L2(R3) and for the study of a (fractional) p-adic Schrödinger type operator with point interactions.  相似文献

We study a class of Schrödinger operators of the form , where is a nonnegative function singular at 0, that is V(0)=0. Under suitable assumptions on the potential V, we derive sharp lower and upper bounds for the fundamental solution hε. Moreover, we obtain information on the spectrum of the self-adjoint operator defined by Lε in L2(R). In particular, we give a lower bound for the eigenvalues.  相似文献

We study smoothing properties for time-dependent Schrödinger equations , , with potentials which satisfy V(x)=O(|x|m) at infinity, m?2. We show that the solution u(t,x) is 1/m times differentiable with respect to x at almost all , and explain that this is the result of the fact that the sojourn time of classical particles with energy λ in arbitrary compact set is less than CTλ−1/m during [0,T] when λ is very large. We also show Strichartz's inequality with derivative loss for such potentials and give its application to nonlinear Schrödinger equations.  相似文献

In this paper, we are concerned with the existence of solutions to the N-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equation −ε2Δu+V(x)u=K(x)up with u(x)>0, uH1(RN), N?3 and . When the potential V(x) decays at infinity faster than −2(1+|x|) and K(x)?0 is permitted to be unbounded, we will show that the positive H1(RN)-solutions exist if it is assumed that G(x) has local minimum points for small ε>0, here with denotes the ground energy function which is introduced in [X. Wang, B. Zeng, On concentration of positive bound states of nonlinear Schrödinger equations with competing potential functions, SIAM J. Math. Anal. 28 (1997) 633-655]. In addition, when the potential V(x) decays to zero at most like (1+|x|)α with 0<α?2, we also discuss the existence of positive H1(RN)-solutions for unbounded K(x). Compared with some previous papers [A. Ambrosetti, A. Malchiodi, D. Ruiz, Bound states of nonlinear Schrödinger equations with potentials vanishing at infinity, J. Anal. Math. 98 (2006) 317-348; A. Ambrosetti, D. Ruiz, Radial solutions concentrating on spheres of NLS with vanishing potentials, Proc. Roy. Soc. Edinburgh Sect. A 136 (2006) 889-907; A. Ambrosetti, Z.Q. Wang, Nonlinear Schrödinger equations with vanishing and decaying potentials, Differential Integral Equations 18 (2005) 1321-1332] and so on, we remove the restrictions on the potential function V(x) which decays at infinity like (1+|x|)α with 0<α?2 as well as the restrictions on the boundedness of K(x)>0. Therefore, we partly answer a question posed in the reference [A. Ambrosetti, A. Malchiodi, Concentration phenomena for NLS: Recent results and new perspectives, preprint, 2006].  相似文献

Let V(x) be a non-negative, bounded potential in RN, N?3 and p supercritical, . We look for positive solutions of the standing-wave nonlinear Schrödinger equation ΔuV(x)u+up=0 in RN, with u(x)→0 as |x|→+∞. We prove that if V(x)=o(−2|x|) as |x|→+∞, then for N?4 and this problem admits a continuum of solutions. If in addition we have, for instance, V(x)=O(|x|μ) with μ>N, then this result still holds provided that N?3 and . Other conditions for solvability, involving behavior of V at ∞, are also provided.  相似文献

We investigate the global well-posedness, scattering and blow up phenomena when the 3-D quintic nonlinear Schrödinger equation, which is energy-critical, is perturbed by a subcritical nonlinearity λ1p|u|u. We find when the quintic term is defocussing, then the solution is always global no matter what the sign of λ1 is. Scattering will occur either when the perturbation is defocussing and or when the mass of the solution is small enough and . When the quintic term is focusing, we show the blow up for certain solutions.  相似文献

Starting from a selfadjoint Schrödinger operator A=−d2/dx2+q with a gap G in its spectrum F. Gesztesy, B. Simon, G. Teschl [J. Analyse Math. 70 (1996) 267-324] succeed in constructing another Schrödinger operator that is unitarily equivalent (and thus isospectral) to A. As the means they apply come from the Weyl-Titchmarsh theory the connections prove to be intricate, in particular the relation between A and . We show that a central assertion in GST's paper rests substantially on factorizations of the form

In this paper we study the Cauchy problem of the non-isotropically perturbed fourth-order nonlinear Schrödinger type equation: ((x1,x2,…,xn)∈Rn, t?0), where a is a real constant, 1?d<n is an integer, g(x,|u|)u is a nonlinear function which behaves like α|u|u for some constant α>0. By using Kato method, we prove that this perturbed fourth-order Schrödinger type equation is locally well-posed with initial data belonging to the non-isotropic Sobolev spaces provided that s1,s2 satisfy the conditions: s1?0, s2?0 for or for with some additional conditions. Furthermore, by using non-isotropic Sobolev inequality and energy method, we obtain some global well-posedness results for initial data belonging to non-isotropic Sobolev spaces .  相似文献

In this paper we prove that in the general case (i.e. β not necessarily vanishing) the Cauchy problem for the Schrödinger-Korteweg-de Vries system is locally well-posed in , and if β=0 then it is locally well-posed in with . These results improve the corresponding results of Corcho and Linares (2007) [5]. Idea of the proof is to establish some bilinear and trilinear estimates in the space Gs×Fs, where Gs and Fs are dyadic Bourgain-type spaces related to the Schrödinger operator and the Airy operator , respectively, but with a modification on Fs in low frequency part of functions with a weaker structure related to the maximal function estimate of the Airy operator.  相似文献

For a large class of semiclassical pseudodifferential operators, including Schrödinger operators, P(h)=−h2Δg+V(x), on compact Riemannian manifolds, we give logarithmic lower bounds on the mass of eigenfunctions outside neighbourhoods of generic closed hyperbolic orbits. More precisely we show that if A is a pseudodifferential operator which is microlocally equal to the identity near the hyperbolic orbit and microlocally zero away from the orbit, then

We consider a Schrödinger-type differential expression , where ∇ is a C-bounded Hermitian connection on a Hermitian vector bundle E of bounded geometry over a manifold of bounded geometry (M,g) with metric g and positive C-bounded measure , and VLloc1(EndE) is a linear self-adjoint bundle map. We define the maximal operator HV,max associated to HV as an operator in L2(E) given by HV,maxu=HVu for all , where ∇∗∇u in is understood in distributional sense. We give a sufficient condition for the self-adjointness of HV,max. The proof adopts Kato's technique to our setting, but it requires a more general version of Kato's inequality for Bochner Laplacian operator as well as a result on the positivity of uL2(M) satisfying the equation (ΔM+b)u=ν, where ΔM is the scalar Laplacian on M, b>0 is a constant and ν?0 is a positive distribution on M. For local estimates, we use a family of cut-off functions constructed with the help of regularized distance on manifolds of bounded geometry.  相似文献

We establish a scaling limit theorem for a large class of Dawson-Watanabe superprocesses whose underlying spatial motions are symmetric Hunt processes, where the convergence is in the sense of convergence in probability. When the underling process is a symmetric diffusion with -coefficients or a symmetric Lévy process on Rd whose Lévy exponent Ψ(η) is bounded from below by cα|η| for some c>0 and α∈(0,2) when |η| is large, a stronger almost sure limit theorem is established for the superprocess. Our approach uses the principal eigenvalue and the ground state for some associated Schrödinger operator. The limit theorems are established under the assumption that an associated Schrödinger operator has a spectral gap.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the Schrödinger operator on the hyperbolic plane , where is the hyperbolic Laplacian and V is a scalar potential on . It is proven that, under an appropriate condition on V at ‘infinity’, the number of eigenvalues of HV less than λ is asymptotically equal to the canonical volume of the quasi-classically allowed region as λ→∞. Our proof is based on the probabilistic methods and the standard Tauberian argument as in the proof of Theorem 10.5 in Simon (Functional Integration and Quantum Physics, Academic Press, New York, 1979).  相似文献

We study the global in time existence of small solutions to the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with quadratic interactions (0.1) We prove that if the initial data u0 satisfy smallness conditions in the weighted Sobolev norm, then the solution of the Cauchy problem (0.1) exists globally in time. Furthermore, we prove the existence of the usual scattering states and find the large time asymptotics of the solutions.  相似文献

We prove self-adjointness of the Schrödinger type operator , where ∇ is a Hermitian connection on a Hermitian vector bundle E over a complete Riemannian manifold M with positive smooth measure which is fixed independently of the metric, and VLloc1(EndE) is a Hermitian bundle endomorphism. Self-adjointness of HV is deduced from the self-adjointness of the corresponding “localized” operator. This is an extension of a result by Cycon. The proof uses the scheme of Cycon, but requires a refined integration by parts technique as well as the use of a family of cut-off functions which are constructed by a non-trivial smoothing procedure due to Karcher.  相似文献

We prove the nonlinear Schrödinger equation has a local solution for any energy - subcritical nonlinearity when u0 is the characteristic function of a ball in Rn. Additionally, we establish the existence of a global solution for n?3 when and α?2. Finally, we establish the existence of a global solution when the initial function is radial, the nonlinear Schrödinger equation has an energy subcritical nonlinearity, and the initial function lies in Hρ+?(Rn)∩H1/2+?(Rn)∩H1/2+?,1(Rn).  相似文献

Let w be some Ap weight and enjoy reverse Hölder inequality, and let L=−Δ+V be a Schrödinger operator on Rn, where is a non-negative function on Rn. In this article we introduce weighted Hardy spaces associated to L in terms of the area function characterization, and prove their atomic characters. We show that the Riesz transform ∇L−1/2 associated to L is bounded on for 1<p<2, and bounded from to the classical weighted Hardy space .  相似文献
