In this paper we construct the matrix subalgebras ${L_{r,s}(\mathbb{R})}$ of the real matrix algebra ${M_{2^{r+s}} (\mathbb{R})}$ when 2 ≤ r + s ≤ 3 and we show that each ${L_{r,s}(\mathbb{R})}$ is isomorphic to the real Clifford algebra ${\mathcal{C} \ell_{r,s}}$ . In particular, we prove that the algebras ${L_{r,s}(\mathbb{R})}$ can be induced from ${L_{0,n}(\mathbb{R})}$ when 2 ≤ rsn ≤ 3 by deforming vector generators of ${L_{0,n}(\mathbb{R})}$ to multiply the specific diagonal matrices. Also, we construct two subalgebras ${T_4(\mathbb{C})}$ and ${T_2(\mathbb{H})}$ of matrix algebras ${M_4(\mathbb{C})}$ and ${M_2(\mathbb{H})}$ , respectively, which are both isomorphic to the Clifford algebra ${\mathcal{C} \ell_{0,3}}$ , and apply them to obtain the properties related to the Clifford group Γ0,3.  相似文献

It is known that the structure of invariant subspaces I of the Hardy space H 2 over the bidisk is extremely complicated. One reason is that it is difficult to describe infinite dimensional wandering spaces ${I\ominus zI}$ completely. In this paper, we study the structure of nontrivial closed subspaces N of H 2 with ${T_zN\subset N}$ and ${T^*_wN\subset N}$ , which are called mixed invariant subspaces under T z and ${T^*_w}$ . We know that the dimension of ${N\ominus zN}$ ranges from 1 to ??. If ${T^*_w(N\ominus zN)\subset N\ominus zN}$ , we may describe N completely. If ${T^*_w(N\ominus zN)\not\subset N\ominus zN}$ , it seems difficult to describe N generally. So we study N under the condition ${dim\,(N\ominus zN)=1}$ . Write ${M=H^2\ominus N}$ . We describe ${M\ominus wM}$ precisely. We give a characterization of N for which there is a nonzero function ${\varphi}$ in ${M\ominus wM}$ satisfying ${z^k\varphi\in M\ominus wM}$ for every k ?? 0. We also see that the space ${M\ominus wM}$ has a deep connection with the de Branges?CRovnyak spaces studied by Sarason.  相似文献

This paper addresses the question of retrieving the triple ${(\mathcal X,\mathcal P, E)}$ from the algebraic geometry code ${\mathcal C = \mathcal C_L(\mathcal X, \mathcal P, E)}$ , where ${\mathcal X}$ is an algebraic curve over the finite field ${\mathbb F_q, \,\mathcal P}$ is an n-tuple of ${\mathbb F_q}$ -rational points on ${\mathcal X}$ and E is a divisor on ${\mathcal X}$ . If ${\deg(E)\geq 2g+1}$ where g is the genus of ${\mathcal X}$ , then there is an embedding of ${\mathcal X}$ onto ${\mathcal Y}$ in the projective space of the linear series of the divisor E. Moreover, if ${\deg(E)\geq 2g+2}$ , then ${I(\mathcal Y)}$ , the vanishing ideal of ${\mathcal Y}$ , is generated by ${I_2(\mathcal Y)}$ , the homogeneous elements of degree two in ${I(\mathcal Y)}$ . If ${n >2 \deg(E)}$ , then ${I_2(\mathcal Y)=I_2(\mathcal Q)}$ , where ${\mathcal Q}$ is the image of ${\mathcal P}$ under the map from ${\mathcal X}$ to ${\mathcal Y}$ . These three results imply that, if ${2g+2\leq m < \frac{1}{2}n}$ , an AG representation ${(\mathcal Y, \mathcal Q, F)}$ of the code ${\mathcal C}$ can be obtained just using a generator matrix of ${\mathcal C}$ where ${\mathcal Y}$ is a normal curve in ${\mathbb{P}^{m-g}}$ which is the intersection of quadrics. This fact gives us some clues for breaking McEliece cryptosystem based on AG codes provided that we have an efficient procedure for computing and decoding the representation obtained.  相似文献

Let ${\mathcal{F}}$ be a (0, 1) matrix. A (0, 1) matrix ${\mathcal{M}}$ is said to have ${\mathcal{F}}$ as a configuration if there is a submatrix of ${\mathcal{M}}$ which is a row and column permutation of ${\mathcal{F}}$ . We say that a matrix ${\mathcal{M}}$ is simple if it has no repeated columns. For a given ${v \in \mathbb{N}}$ , we shall denote by forb ${(v, \mathcal{F})}$ the maximum number of columns in a simple (0, 1) matrix with v rows for which ${\mathcal{F}}$ does not occur as a configuration. We say that a matrix ${\mathcal{M}}$ is maximal for ${\mathcal{F}}$ if ${\mathcal{M}}$ has forb ${(v, \mathcal{F})}$ columns. In this paper we show that for certain natural choices of ${\mathcal{F}}$ , forb ${(v, \mathcal{F})\leq\frac{\binom{v}{t}}{t+1}}$ . In particular this gives an extremal characterization for Steiner t-designs as maximal (0, 1) matrices in terms of certain forbidden configurations.  相似文献

Let $X(\mu )$ be a p-convex ( $1\le p<\infty $ ) order continuous Banach function space over a positive finite measure  $\mu $ . We characterize the subspaces of  $X(\mu )$ which can be found simultaneously in  $X(\mu )$ and a suitable $L^1(\eta )$ space, where $\eta $ is a positive finite measure related to the representation of  $X(\mu )$ as an $L^p(m)$ space of a vector measure  $m$ . We provide in this way new tools to analyze the strict singularity of the inclusion of  $X(\mu )$ in such an $L^1$ space. No rearrangement invariant type restrictions on  $X(\mu )$ are required.  相似文献

We consider the operator $\mathcal {R}$ , which sends a function on ${\mathbb {R}}^{2n}$ to its integrals over all affine Lagrangian subspaces in ${\mathbb {R}}^{2n}$ . We discuss properties of the operator $\mathcal {R}$ and of the representation of the affine symplectic group in several function spaces on ${\mathbb {R}}^{2n}$ .  相似文献

In this paper, we prove that every lax generalized Veronesean embedding of the Hermitian unital ${\mathcal{U}}$ of ${\mathsf{PG}(2,\mathbb{L}), \mathbb{L}}$ a quadratic extension of the field ${\mathbb{K}}$ and ${|\mathbb{K}| \geq 3}$ , in a ${\mathsf{PG}(d,\mathbb{F})}$ , with ${\mathbb{F}}$ any field and d ≥ 7, such that disjoint blocks span disjoint subspaces, is the standard Veronesean embedding in a subgeometry ${\mathsf{PG}(7,\mathbb{K}^{\prime})}$ of ${\mathsf{PG}(7,\mathbb{F})}$ (and d = 7) or it consists of the projection from a point ${p \in \mathcal{U}}$ of ${\mathcal{U}{\setminus} \{p\}}$ from a subgeometry ${\mathsf{PG}(7,\mathbb{K}^{\prime})}$ of ${\mathsf{PG}(7,\mathbb{F})}$ into a hyperplane ${\mathsf{PG}(6,\mathbb{K}^{\prime})}$ . In order to do so, when ${|\mathbb{K}| >3 }$ we strongly use the linear representation of the affine part of ${\mathcal{U}}$ (the line at infinity being secant) as the affine part of the generalized quadrangle ${\mathsf{Q}(4,\mathbb{K})}$ (the solid at infinity being non-singular); when ${|\mathbb{K}| =3}$ , we use the connection of ${\mathcal{U}}$ with the generalized hexagon of order 2.  相似文献

For a proper open set $\Omega $ immersed in a metric space with the weak homogeneity property, and given a measure $\mu $ doubling on a certain family of balls lying “well inside” of $\Omega $ , we introduce a local maximal function and characterize the weights $w$ for which it is bounded on $L^p(\Omega ,w d\mu )$ when $1<p<\infty $ and of weak type $(1,1)$ . We generalize previous known results and we also present an application to interior Sobolev’s type estimates for appropriate solutions of the differential equation $\Delta ^m u=f$ , satisfied in an open proper subset $\Omega $ of $\mathbb R ^n$ . Here, the data $f$ belongs to some weighted $L^p$ space that could allow functions to increase polynomially when approaching the boundary of $\Omega $ .  相似文献

Given a eigenvalue $\mu _{0m}^2$ of $-\Delta $ in the unit ball $B_1$ , with Neumann boundary conditions, we prove that there exists a class $\mathcal{D}$ of $C^{0,1}$ -domains, depending on $\mu _{0m} $ , such that if $u$ is a no trivial solution to the following problem $ \Delta u+\mu u=0$ in $\Omega , u=0$ on $\partial \Omega $ , and $ \int \nolimits _{\partial \Omega }\partial _{\mathbf{n}}u=0$ , with $\Omega \in \mathcal{D}$ , and $\mu =\mu _{0m}^2+o(1)$ , then $\Omega $ is a ball. Here $\mu $ is a eigenvalue of $-\Delta $ in $\Omega $ , with Neumann boundary conditions.  相似文献
