Two families of mixed finite elements for second order elliptic problems   总被引:32,自引:2,他引:30  
Summary Two families of mixed finite elements, one based on triangles and the other on rectangles, are introduced as alternatives to the usual Raviart-Thomas-Nedelec spaces. Error estimates inL 2 () andH –5 () are derived for these elements. A hybrid version of the mixed method is also considered, and some superconvergence phenomena are discussed.  相似文献

Hardy spaces with generalized parameter are introduced following the maximal characterization approach. As particular cases, they include the classical Hp spaces and the Hardy-Lorentz spaces H^p,q. Real interpolation results with function parameter are obtained, Based on them, the behavior of some classical operators is studied in this generalized setting.  相似文献

Analytic Hardy and BMO spaces on the quantum torus are introduced. Some basic properties of these spaces are presented. In particular, the associated H 1-BMO duality theorem is proved. Finally, we discuss some possible extensions of the obtained results.  相似文献

In this paper, a class of anisotropic Herz-type Hardy spaces associated with a non-isotropic dilation on ℝ n are introduced, and the central atomic and molecular decomposition characterizations of those spaces are established. As some applications of the decomposition theory, the authors study the interpolation problem and the boundedness of the central δ-Calderón-Zygmund operators on the anisotropic Herz-type Hardy spaces. The tensor structure of spaces L p (R n ) of summable functions of several variables is described. A scale of Hardy-type spaces of analytic functionals defined in the unit ball of the space L p (R 1) of summable functions of one variable is introduced. In this article we are interested in conditions on the coefficients of a Walsh multiplier operator that imply the operator is bounded on certain dyadic Hardy spaces H p , 0 < p < ∞. In particular, we consider two classical coefficient conditions, originally introduced for the trigonometric case, the Marcinkiewicz and the Hörmander–Mihlin conditions. They are known to be sufficient in the spaces L p , 1 < p < ∞. Here we study the corresponding problem on dyadic Hardy spaces, and find the values of p for which these conditions are sufficient. Then, we consider the cases of H 1 and L 1 which are of special interest. Finally, based on a recent integrability condition for Walsh series, a new condition is provided that implies that the multiplier operator is bounded from L 1 to L 1, and from H 1 to H 1. We note that existing multiplier theorems for Hardy spaces give growth conditions on the dyadic blocks of the Walsh series of the kernel, but these growth are not computable directly in terms of the coefficients.  相似文献

Hardy spaces on homogeneous groups were introduced and studied by Folland and Stein [3]. The purpose of this note is to show that duals of Hardy spaces Hp , 0 < p ≤ 1, on homogeneous groups can be identified with Morrey–Campanato spaces. Summary A method of a collocation type based onC 0-piecewise polynomial spaces is presented for a two-point boundary value problem of the second order. The method has an optimal order of convergence under smoothness requirements on the exact solution which are weaker than forC 1-collocation methods. If the differential operator is symmetric, a modification of this method leads to a symmetric system of linear equations. It is shown that if the collocation solution is a piecewise polynomial of degree not greater thanr, the method is stable and convergent with orderh r inH 1-norm. A similar symmetric modification forC 0-colloction-finite element method [7] is also obtained. Superconvergence at the nodes is established.  相似文献

Decomposition systems with rapidly decaying elements (needlets) based on Hermite functions are introduced and explored. It is proved that the Triebel-Lizorkin and Besov spaces on ℝ d induced by Hermite expansions can be characterized in terms of the needlet coefficients. It is also shown that the Hermite-Triebel-Lizorkin and Besov spaces are, in general, different from the respective classical spaces. We show that a wide class of separable preduals ofL 1(μ) spaces, namely, theG spaces, introduced by Grothendieck, are isomorphic toC(K) spaces.
