On <Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis>-nilpotency and minimal subgroups of finite groups

We call a subgroup H of a finite group G c-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup K of G such that G = HK and H ∩ K ⩽ core(H). In this paper it is proved that a finite group G is p-nilpotent if G is S ₄-free and every minimal subgroup of P ∩ G ^N is c-supplemented in N _G (P), and when p = 2 P is quaternion-free, where p is the smallest prime number dividing the order of G, P a Sylow p-subgroup of G. As some applications of this result, some known results are generalized.     

弱s-拟正规子群对有限群的p-幂零性的影响

群G的子群H称为G的弱s-拟正规子群,若G有次正规子群T,使得G=HT且H ∩T≤HsG,其中HsG是包含在H中的G的最大的s-拟正规子群.本文利用Sylow p-子群的极大子群的弱s-拟正规性得到有限群为p-幂零群的一些充分条件,并给出Schur-Zassenhaus定理的一种推广.     

On SS-quasinormal subgroups and the structure of finite groups

A subgroup H of a finite group G is said to be an SS-quasinormal subgroup of G if there is a subgroup B of G such that G = HB and H permutes with every Sylow subgroup of B. In this paper, we investigate the structure of a group under the assumption that every subgroup with order pm of a Sylow p-subgroup P of G is SS-quasinormal in G for a fixed positive integer m. On weakly S-embedded subgroups of finite groups

Let H be a subgroup of a group G.Then H is said to be S-quasinormal in G if HP = P H for every Sylow subgroup P of G;H is said to be S-quasinormally embedded in G if a Sylow p-subgroup of H is also a Sylow p-subgroup of some S-quasinormal subgroup of G for each prime p dividing the order of H.In this paper,we say that H is weakly S-embedded in G if G has a normal subgroup T such that HT is an S-quasinormal subgroup of G and H ∩ T≤H SE,where H SE denotes the subgroup of H generated by all those subgroups of ...     

The influence of X-semipermutability of subgroups on the structure of finite groups

Let A be a subgroup of a group G and X be a nonempty subset of G. A is said to be X-semipermutable in G if A has a supplement T in G such that A is X-permutable with every subgroup of T. In this paper, we investigate further the influence of X-semipermutability of some subgroups on the structure of finite groups. Some new criteria for a group G to be supersoluble or p-nilpotent are obtained.     

On p-nilpotency of finite groups with some subgroups π-quasinormally embedded

Summary A subgroup H of a group G is said to be π-quasinormal in G if it permutes with every Sylow subgroup of G, and H is said to be π-quasinormally embedded in G if for each prime dividing the order of H, a Sylow p-subgroup of H is also a Sylow p-subgroup of some π-quasinormal subgroups of G. We characterize p-nilpotentcy of finite groups with the assumption that some maximal subgroups, 2-maximal subgroups, minimal subgroups and 2-minimal subgroups are π-quasinormally embedded, respectively.     

有限群的ss-置换子群

设G为有限群,称G的子群H为ss-置换子群,如果存在G的次正规子群B使得G=HB,且H与B的任意Sylow子群可以交换,即对任意X∈Syl（B）有XH=HX.利用子群的ss-置换性来研究有限群的结构,得到有限群超可解的两个充分条件.     

有限群的弱正规子群与p-幂零性

研究了p2阶子群以及一般的pk阶子群为弱正规子群时有限群G的结构.给出了有限群为p-幂零群以及超可解群的一些条件.     

On sse-embedded subgroups of finite groups

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce the concept of sse-embedded subgroups of finite groups and present some new characterizations of solubility of finite groups using the sse-embedding property of subgroups. Furthermore, we discuss the sse-embedded subgroups in finite nonabelian simple groups. Some previously known results are generalized and unified.     

Finite groups with some pronormal subgroups

A subgroup H of finite group G is called pronormal in G if for every element x of G, H is conjugate to H ^x in 〈H, H ^x 〉. A finite group G is called PRN-group if every cyclic subgroup of G of prime order or order 4 is pronormal in G. In this paper, we find all PRN-groups and classify minimal non-PRN-groups (non-PRN-group all of whose proper subgroups are PRN-groups). At the end of the paper, we also classify the finite group G, all of whose second maximal subgroups are PRN-groups.     

On s-semipermutable subgroups of finite groups

Suppose that G is a finite group and H is a subgroup of G. We say that H is ssemipermutable in G if HGv = GpH for any Sylow p-subgroup Gp of G with （p, ｜H｜） = 1. We investigate the influence of s-semipermutable subgroups on the structure of finite groups. Some recent results are generalized and unified.     

On minimal subgroups of finite groups

In this paper, the minimal subgroups of a finite group G are studied. Using the normalizes of Sylow subgroups of G, we obtain some sufficient conditions for G to be p-milpotent and supersolvable, which ae extensions of the related results of Burnside, Ito, Buckley and Asaad.     

Criteria of existence of Hall subgroups in non-soluble finite groups

In this paper, the famous Hall theorem and the famous Schur-Zassenhaus theorem are generalized.     

On complemented subgroups of finite groups

A subgroup H of a group G is said to be complemented in G if there exists a subgroup K of G such that G = HK and H ⋂ K = 1. In this paper we determine the structure of finite groups with some complemented primary subgroups, and obtain some new results about p-nilpotent groups.     

Influence of certain permutable subgroups on finite smooth groups

A subgroup H of a finite group G is said to be permutable in G if it permutes with every subgroup of G. In this paper, we determine the finite groups which have a permutable subgroup of prime order and whose maximal subgroups are totally (generalized) smooth groups.     

The influence of s-conditionally permutable subgroups on finite groups

A subgroup H of a group G is called s-conditionally permutable in G if for every Sylow subgroup T of G there exists an element x ∈ G such that HTx = TxH. Using the concept of s-conditionally permutable subgroups, some new characterizations of finite groups are obtained and several interesting results are generalized.     

Weakly s-supplemented subgroups and p-nilpotency of finite groups

A subgroup H of a group G is said to be weakly s-supplemented in G if there is a subgroup T of G such that G = HT and H ∩ T ≤ H _sG , where H _sG is the maximal s-permutable subgroup of G contained in H. In this paper, we investigate the influence of weakly s-supplemented subgroups on the structure of finite groups. Some recent results are generalized.     

Nearly m-embedded subgroups and solvability of finite groups

A subgroup A of a finite group G is called {1≤G}-embedded in G if for each two subgroups K≤H of G, where K is a maximal subgroup of H, A either covers the pair (K,H) or avoids it. Moreover, a subgroup H of G is called nearly m-embedded in G if G has a subgroup T and a {1≤G}-embedded subgroup C such that G?=?HT and H∩T≤C≤H. In this paper, we mainly prove that G is solvable if and only if its Sylow 3-subgroups, Sylow 5-subgroups and Sylow 7-subgroups are nearly m-embedded in G.
