We introduce affine and linearly invariant families of locally injective harmonic mappings of the unit disk D. We derive sharp distortion theorems for the Jacobian that are used to establish a uniform modulus of continuity for the quasiconformal mappings in each class. Finally, we find a converse of a recent theorem of Chen and Ponnusamy characterizing when the image f(D) under a quasiconformal harmonic univalent mapping is a John domain.  相似文献

In this work, a novel approach for the solution of the inverse conductivity problem from one and multiple boundary measurements has been developed on the basis of the implication of the framework of BV functions. The space of the functions of bounded variation is recommended here as the most appropriate functional space hosting the conductivity profile under reconstruction. For the numerical investigation of the inversion of the inclusion problem, we propose and implement a suitable minimization scheme of an enriched—constructed herein—functional, by exploiting the inner structure of BV space. Finally, we validate and illustrate our theoretical results with numerical experiments.  相似文献

We are concerned with supersonic vortex sheets for the Euler equations of compressible inviscid fluids in two space dimensions. For the problem with constant coefficients we derive an evolution equation for the discontinuity front of the vortex sheet. This is a pseudo-differential equation of order two. In agreement with the classical stability analysis, if the Mach number M satisfies M<2, the symbol is elliptic and the problem is ill-posed. On the contrary, if M>2 then the problem is weakly stable, and we are able to derive a wave-type a priori energy estimate for the solution, with no loss of regularity with respect to the data. Then we prove the well-posedness of the problem, by showing the existence of the solution in weighted Sobolev spaces.  相似文献
