The symmetric group $\operatorname{Sym}(d)$ acts on the Cartesian product (S 2) d by coordinate permutation, and the quotient space $(S^{2})^{d}/\operatorname{Sym}(d)$ is homeomorphic to the complex projective space ?P d . We used the case d=2 of this fact to construct a 10-vertex triangulation of ?P 2 earlier. In this paper, we have constructed a 124-vertex simplicial subdivision $(S^{2})^{3}_{124}$ of the 64-vertex standard cellulation $(S^{2}_{4})^{3}$ of (S 2)3, such that the $\operatorname{Sym}(3)$ -action on this cellulation naturally extends to an action on $(S^{2})^{3}_{124}$ . Further, the $\operatorname{Sym}(3)$ -action on $(S^{2})^{3}_{124}$ is ??good??, so that the quotient simplicial complex $(S^{2})^{3}_{124}/\operatorname{Sym}(3)$ is a 30-vertex triangulation $\mathbb{C}P^{3}_{30}$ of ?P 3. In other words, we have constructed a simplicial realization $(S^{2})^{3}_{124} \to\mathbb{C} P^{3}_{30}$ of the branched covering (S 2)3???P 3.  相似文献

A classical result states that every lower bounded superharmonic function on ${\mathbb{R}^{2}}$ is constant. In this paper the following (stronger) one-circle version is proven. If ${f : \mathbb{R}^{2} \to (-\infty,\infty]}$ is lower semicontinuous, lim inf|x|→∞ f (x)/ ln |x| ≥ 0, and, for every ${x \in \mathbb{R}^{2}}$ , ${1/(2\pi) \int_0^{2\pi} f(x + r(x)e^{it}) \, dt \le f(x)}$ , where ${r : \mathbb{R}^{2} \to (0,\infty)}$ is continuous, ${{\rm sup}_{x \in \mathbb{R}^{2}} (r(x) - |x|) < \infty},$ , and ${{\rm inf}_{x \in \mathbb{R}^{2}} (r(x)-|x|)=-\infty}$ , then f is constant. Moreover, it is shown that, assuming rc| · | + M on ${\mathbb{R}^d}$ , d ≤ 2, and taking averages on ${\{y \in \mathbb{R}^{d} : |y-x| \le r(x)\}}$ , such a result of Liouville type holds for supermedian functions if and only if cc 0, where c 0 = 1, if d = 2, whereas 2.50 < c 0 < 2.51, if d = 1.  相似文献

For a holomorphic proper map F from the ball $\mathbb{B}^{n+1}$ into $\mathbb{B}^{N+1}$ that is C 3 smooth up to the boundary, the image $M=F(\partial\mathbb{B}^{n})$ is an immersed CR submanifold in the sphere $\partial \mathbb{B}^{N+1}$ on which some second fundamental forms II M and $\mathit{II}^{CR}_{M}$ can be defined. It is shown that when 4??n+1<N+1??4n?3, F is linear fractional if and only if $\mathit{II}_{M} - \mathit{II}_{M}^{CR} \equiv 0$ .  相似文献

Let ${U \subset \mathbb{R}^{N}}$ be a neighbourhood of the origin and a function ${F:U\rightarrow U}$ be of class C r , r ≥ 2, F(0) = 0. Denote by F n the n-th iterate of F and let ${0<|s_1|\leq \cdots \leq|s_N| <1 }$ , where ${s_1, \ldots , s_N}$ are the eigenvalues of dF(0). Assume that the Schröder equation ${\varphi(F(x))=S\varphi(x)}$ , where S: = dF(0) has a C 2 solution φ such that dφ(0) = id. If ${\frac{log|s_1|}{log|s_N|} <2 }$ then the sequence {S ?n F n (x)} converges for every point x from the basin of attraction of F to a C 2 solution φ of (1). If ${2\leq\frac{log|s_1|}{log|s_N|} }$ then this sequence can be diverging. In this case we give some sufficient conditions for the convergence and divergence of the sequence {S ?n F n (x)}. Moreover, we show that if F is of class C r and ${r>\big[\frac{log|s_1|}{log|s_N|} \big ]:=p \geq 2}$ then every C r solution of the Schröder equation such that dφ(0) = id is given by the formula $$\begin{array}{ll}\varphi (x)={\lim\limits_{n \rightarrow \infty}} (S^{-n}F^n(x) + {\sum\limits _{k=2}^{p}} S^{-n}L_k (F^n(x))),\end{array}$$ where ${L_k:\mathbb{R}^{N} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{N}}$ are some homogeneous polynomials of degree k, which are determined by the differentials d (j) F(0) for 1 < j ≤  p.  相似文献

In the theory of coalgebras C over a ring R, the rational functor relates the category $_{C^*}{\mathbb{M}}$ of modules over the algebra C * (with convolution product) with the category $^C{\mathbb{M}}$ of comodules over C. This is based on the pairing of the algebra C * with the coalgebra C provided by the evaluation map ${\rm ev}:C^*\otimes_R C\to R$ . The (rationality) condition under consideration ensures that $^C{\mathbb{M}}$ becomes a coreflective full subcategory of $_{C^*}{\mathbb{M}}$ . We generalise this situation by defining a pairing between endofunctors T and G on any category ${\mathbb{A}}$ as a map, natural in $a,b\in {\mathbb{A}}$ , $$ \beta_{a,b}:{\mathbb{A}}(a, G(b)) \to {\mathbb{A}}(T(a),b), $$ and we call it rational if these all are injective. In case T?=?(T, m T , e T ) is a monad and G?=?(G, δ G , ε G ) is a comonad on ${\mathbb{A}}$ , additional compatibility conditions are imposed on a pairing between T and G. If such a pairing is given and is rational, and T has a right adjoint monad T ???, we construct a rational functor as the functor-part of an idempotent comonad on the T-modules ${\mathbb{A}}_{T}$ which generalises the crucial properties of the rational functor for coalgebras. As a special case we consider pairings on monoidal categories.  相似文献

A partial orthomorphism of ${\mathbb{Z}_{n}}$ is an injective map ${\sigma : S \rightarrow \mathbb{Z}_{n}}$ such that ${S \subseteq \mathbb{Z}_{n}}$ and ??(i)?Ci ? ??(j)? j (mod n) for distinct ${i, j \in S}$ . We say ?? has deficit d if ${|S| = n - d}$ . Let ??(n, d) be the number of partial orthomorphisms of ${\mathbb{Z}_{n}}$ of deficit d. Let ??(n, d) be the number of partial orthomorphisms ?? of ${\mathbb{Z}_n}$ of deficit d such that ??(i) ? {0, i} for all ${i \in S}$ . Then ??(n, d) =???(n, d)n 2/d 2 when ${1\,\leqslant\,d < n}$ . Let R k, n be the number of reduced k ×?n Latin rectangles. We show that $$R_{k, n} \equiv \chi (p, n - p)\frac{(n - p)!(n - p - 1)!^{2}}{(n - k)!}R_{k-p,\,n-p}\,\,\,\,(\rm {mod}\,p)$$ when p is a prime and ${n\,\geqslant\,k\,\geqslant\,p + 1}$ . In particular, this enables us to calculate some previously unknown congruences for R n, n . We also develop techniques for computing ??(n, d) exactly. We show that for each a there exists??? a such that, on each congruence class modulo??? a , ??(n, n-a) is determined by a polynomial of degree 2a in n. We give these polynomials for ${1\,\leqslant\,a\,\leqslant 6}$ , and find an asymptotic formula for ??(n, n-a) as n ?? ??, for arbitrary fixed a.  相似文献

We prove a global implicit function theorem. In particular we show that any Lipschitz map ${f : \mathbb{R}^{n} \times \mathbb{R}^{m} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{n}}$ (with n-dim. image) can be precomposed with a bi-Lipschitz map ${\bar{g} : \mathbb{R}^{n} \times \mathbb{R}^{m} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{n} \times \mathbb{R}^{m}}$ such that ${f \circ \bar{g}}$ will satisfy, when we restrict to a large portion of the domain ${E \subset \mathbb{R}^{n} \times \mathbb{R}^{m}}$ , that ${f \circ \bar{g}}$ is bi-Lipschitz in the first coordinate, and constant in the second coordinate. Geometrically speaking, the map ${\bar{g}}$ distorts ${\mathbb{R}^{n+m}}$ in a controlled manner so that the fibers of f are straightened out. Furthermore, our results stay valid when the target space is replaced by any metric space. A main point is that our results are quantitative: the size of the set E on which behavior is good is a significant part of the discussion. Our estimates are motivated by examples such as Kaufman’s 1979 construction of a C 1 map from [0, 1]3 onto [0, 1]2 with rank ≤ 1 everywhere. On route we prove an extension theorem which is of independent interest. We show that for any Dn, any Lipschitz function ${f : [0,1]^{n} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{D}}$ gives rise to a large (in an appropriate sense) subset ${E \subset [0,1]^{n}}$ such that ${f|_E}$ is bi-Lipschitz and may be extended to a bi-Lipschitz function defined on all of ${\mathbb{R}^{n}}$ . This extends results of Jones and David, from 1988. As a simple corollary, we show that n-dimensional Ahlfors–David regular spaces lying in ${\mathbb{R}^{D}}$ having big pieces of bi-Lipschitz images also have big pieces of big pieces of Lipschitz graphs in ${\mathbb{R}^{D}}$ . This was previously known only for D ≥ 2n?+?1 by a result of David and Semmes.  相似文献

We consider the spaces A p ( $\mathbb{T}^m $ ) of functions f on the m-dimensional torus $\mathbb{T}^m $ such that the sequence of Fourier coefficients $\hat f = \{ \hat f(k),k \in \mathbb{Z}^m \} $ belongs to l p (? m ), 1 ≤ p < 2. The norm on A p ( $\mathbb{T}^m $ ) is defined by $\left\| f \right\|_{A_p (\mathbb{T}^m )} = \left\| {\hat f} \right\|_{l^p (\mathbb{Z}^m )} $ . We study the rate of growth of the norms $\left\| {e^{i\lambda \phi } } \right\|_{A_p (\mathbb{T}^m )} $ as |λ| → ∞, λ ∈ ?, for C 1-smooth real functions φ on $\mathbb{T}^m $ (the one-dimensional case was investigated by the author earlier). The lower estimates that we obtain have direct analogs for the spaces A p (? m ).  相似文献

This paper studies the group theoretical protocol of Diffie?CHellman key exchange in the case of symmetrical group ${S_{p^n}}$ and more general Cremona group ${C(\mathbb K^n)}$ of polynomial automorphisms of free module ${\mathbb K^n}$ over arbitrary commutative ring ${\mathbb K}$ . This algorithm depends very much on the choice of the base ${g_n \in C( \mathbb K^n)}$ . It is important to work with the base ${g_n \in C( \mathbb K^n)}$ , which is a polynomial map of a small degree and a large order such that the degrees of all powers ${g_n^k}$ are also bounded by a small constant. We suggest fast algorithms for generation of a map ${g_n={f_n} \xi_nf_n^{-1}}$ , where ?? n is an affine transformation (degree is 1) of a large order and f n is a fixed nonlinear polynomial map in n variables such that ${f_n^{-1}}$ is also a polynomial map and both maps f n and ${f_n^{-1}}$ are of small degrees. The method is based on properties of infinite families of graphs with a large cycle indicator and families of graphs of a large girth in particular. It guaranties that the order of g n is tending to infinity as the dimension n tends to infinity. We propose methods of fast generation of special families of cubical maps f n such that ${f_n^{-1}}$ is also of degree 3 based on properties of families of graphs of a large girth and graphs with a large cycle indicator. At the end we discuss cryptographical applications of maps of the kind ?? f n ???1 and some graph theoretical problems motivated by such applications.  相似文献

Let $ \mathbb{F} $ be a finite field of characteristic different from 2. We study the cardinality of sets of matrices with a given determinant or a given permanent for the set of Hermitian matrices $ {{\mathcal{H}}_n}\left( \mathbb{F} \right) $ and for the whole matrix space M n ( $ \mathbb{F} $ ). It is known that for n = 2, there are bijective linear maps Φ on $ {{\mathcal{H}}_n}\left( \mathbb{F} \right) $ and M n ( $ \mathbb{F} $ ) satisfying the condition per A = det Φ(A). As an application of the obtained results, we show that if n ≥ 3, then the situation is completely different and already for n = 3, there is no pair of maps (Φ, ?), where Φ is an arbitrary bijective map on matrices and ? : $ \mathbb{F} $ $ \mathbb{F} $ is an arbitrary map such that per A = ?(det Φ(A)) for all matrices A from the spaces $ {{\mathcal{H}}_n}\left( \mathbb{F} \right) $ and M n ( $ \mathbb{F} $ ), respectively. Moreover, for the space M n ( $ \mathbb{F} $ ), we show that such a pair of transformations does not exist also for an arbitrary n > 3 if the field $ \mathbb{F} $ contains sufficiently many elements (depending on n). Our results are illustrated by a number of examples.  相似文献

In this paper, we study noncommutative domains ${\mathbb{D}_f^\varphi(\mathcal{H}) \subset B(\mathcal{H})^n}$ generated by positive regular free holomorphic functions f and certain classes of n-tuples ${\varphi = (\varphi_1, \ldots, \varphi_n)}$ of formal power series in noncommutative indeterminates Z 1, . . . , Z n . Noncommutative Poisson transforms are employed to show that each abstract domain ${\mathbb{D}_f^\varphi}$ has a universal model consisting of multiplication operators (M Z1, . . . , M Z n ) acting on a Hilbert space of formal power series. We provide a Beurling type characterization of all joint invariant subspaces under M Z1, . . . , M Z n and show that all pure n-tuples of operators in ${\mathbb{D}_f^\varphi(\mathcal{H})}$ are compressions of ${M_{Z_1} \otimes I, \ldots, M_{Z_n} \otimes I}$ to their coinvariant subspaces. We show that the eigenvectors of ${M_{Z_1}^*, \ldots, M_{Z_n}^*}$ are precisely the noncommutative Poisson kernels ${\Gamma_\lambda}$ associated with the elements ${\lambda}$ of the scalar domain ${\mathbb{D}_{f,<}^\varphi(\mathbb{C}) \subset \mathbb{C}^n}$ . These are used to solve the Nevanlinna-Pick interpolation problem for the noncommutative Hardy algebra ${H^\infty(\mathbb{D}_f^\varphi)}$ . We introduce the characteristic function of an n-tuple ${T=(T_1, \ldots , T_n) \in \mathbb{D}_f^\varphi(\mathcal{H})}$ , present a model for pure n-tuples of operators in the noncommutative domain ${\mathbb{D}_f^\varphi(\mathcal{H})}$ in terms of characteristic functions, and show that the characteristic function is a complete unitary invariant for pure n-tuples of operators in ${\mathbb{D}_f^\varphi(\mathcal{H})}$ .  相似文献

In this paper we construct the matrix subalgebras ${L_{r,s}(\mathbb{R})}$ of the real matrix algebra ${M_{2^{r+s}} (\mathbb{R})}$ when 2 ≤ r + s ≤ 3 and we show that each ${L_{r,s}(\mathbb{R})}$ is isomorphic to the real Clifford algebra ${\mathcal{C} \ell_{r,s}}$ . In particular, we prove that the algebras ${L_{r,s}(\mathbb{R})}$ can be induced from ${L_{0,n}(\mathbb{R})}$ when 2 ≤ rsn ≤ 3 by deforming vector generators of ${L_{0,n}(\mathbb{R})}$ to multiply the specific diagonal matrices. Also, we construct two subalgebras ${T_4(\mathbb{C})}$ and ${T_2(\mathbb{H})}$ of matrix algebras ${M_4(\mathbb{C})}$ and ${M_2(\mathbb{H})}$ , respectively, which are both isomorphic to the Clifford algebra ${\mathcal{C} \ell_{0,3}}$ , and apply them to obtain the properties related to the Clifford group Γ0,3.  相似文献

Applying the boundedness on weighted Lebesgue spaces of the maximal singular integral operator S * related to the Carleson?CHunt theorem on almost everywhere convergence, we study the boundedness and compactness of pseudodifferential operators a(x, D) with non-regular symbols in ${L^\infty(\mathbb{R}, V(\mathbb{R})), PC(\overline{\mathbb{R}}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ and ${\Lambda_\gamma(\mathbb{R}, V_d(\mathbb{R}))}$ on the weighted Lebesgue spaces ${L^p(\mathbb{R},w)}$ , with 1?< p <? ?? and ${w\in A_p(\mathbb{R})}$ . The Banach algebras ${L^\infty(\mathbb{R}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ and ${PC(\overline{\mathbb{R}}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ consist, respectively, of all bounded measurable or piecewise continuous ${V(\mathbb{R})}$ -valued functions on ${\mathbb{R}}$ where ${V(\mathbb{R})}$ is the Banach algebra of all functions on ${\mathbb{R}}$ of bounded total variation, and the Banach algebra ${\Lambda_\gamma(\mathbb{R}, V_d(\mathbb{R}))}$ consists of all Lipschitz ${V_d(\mathbb{R})}$ -valued functions of exponent ${\gamma \in (0,1]}$ on ${\mathbb{R}}$ where ${V_d(\mathbb{R})}$ is the Banach algebra of all functions on ${\mathbb{R}}$ of bounded variation on dyadic shells. Finally, for the Banach algebra ${\mathfrak{A}_{p,w}}$ generated by all pseudodifferential operators a(x, D) with symbols ${a(x, \lambda) \in PC(\overline{\mathbb{R}}, V(\mathbb{R}))}$ on the space ${L^p(\mathbb{R}, w)}$ , we construct a non-commutative Fredholm symbol calculus and give a Fredholm criterion for the operators ${A \in \mathfrak{A}_{p,w}}$ .  相似文献

Let n ≥ 3, 0 < m ≤ (n ? 2)/n, p > max(1, (1 ? m)n/2), and ${0 \le u_0 \in L_{loc}^p(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ satisfy ${{\rm lim \, inf}_{R\to\infty}R^{-n+\frac{2}{1-m}} \int_{|x|\le R}u_0\,dx = \infty}$ . We prove the existence of unique global classical solution of u t = Δu m , u > 0, in ${\mathbb{R}^n \times (0, \infty), u(x, 0) = u_0(x)}$ in ${\mathbb{R}^n}$ . If in addition 0 < m < (n ? 2)/n and u 0(x) ≈ A|x|?q as |x| → ∞ for some constants A > 0, qn/p, we prove that there exist constants α, β, such that the function v(x, t) = t α u(t β x, t) converges uniformly on every compact subset of ${\mathbb{R}^n}$ to the self-similar solution ψ(x, 1) of the equation with ψ(x, 0) = A|x|?q as t → ∞. Note that when m = (n ? 2)/(n + 2), n ≥ 3, if ${g_{ij} = u^{\frac{4}{n+2}}\delta_{ij}}$ is a metric on ${\mathbb{R}^n}$ that evolves by the Yamabe flow ?g ij /?t = ?Rg ij with u(x, 0) = u 0(x) in ${\mathbb{R}^n}$ where R is the scalar curvature, then u(x, t) is a global solution of the above fast diffusion equation.  相似文献

We consider a closed semi-algebraic set ${X \subset \mathbb{R}^n}$ and a C 2 semi-algebraic function ${f : \mathbb{R}^n \rightarrow\mathbb{R}}$ such that ${f_{\vert X}}$ has a finite number of critical points. We relate the topology of X to the topology of the sets ${X \cap \{ f * \alpha \}}$ , where ${* \in \{\le,=,\ge \}}$ and ${\alpha \in \mathbb{R}}$ , and the indices of the critical points of ${f_{\vert X}}$ and ${-f_{\vert X}}$ . We also relate the topology of X to the topology of the links at infinity of the sets ${X \cap \{ f * \alpha\}}$ and the indices of these critical points. We give applications when ${X=\mathbb{R}^n}$ and when f is a generic linear function.  相似文献

In contrast to its subalgebra $A_n:=K\langle x_1, \ldots , x_n, \frac{\partial}{\partial x_1}, \ldots ,\frac{\partial}{\partial x_n}\rangle $ of polynomial differential operators (i.e. the n’th Weyl algebra), the algebra ${\mathbb{I}}_n:=K\langle x_1, \ldots ,$ $ x_n, \frac{\partial}{\partial x_1}, \ldots ,\frac{\partial}{\partial x_n}, \int_1, \ldots , \int_n\rangle $ of polynomial integro-differential operators is neither left nor right Noetherian algebra; moreover it contains infinite direct sums of nonzero left and right ideals. It is proved that ${\mathbb{I}}_n$ is a left (right) coherent algebra iff n?=?1; the algebra ${\mathbb{I}}_n$ is a holonomic A n -bimodule of length 3 n and has multiplicity 3 n with respect to the filtration of Bernstein, and all 3 n simple factors of ${\mathbb{I}}_n$ are pairwise non-isomorphic A n -bimodules. The socle length of the A n -bimodule ${\mathbb{I}}_n$ is n?+?1, the socle filtration is found, and the m’th term of the socle filtration has length ${n\choose m}2^{n-m}$ . This fact gives a new canonical form for each polynomial integro-differential operator. It is proved that the algebra ${\mathbb{I}}_n$ is the maximal left (resp. right) order in the largest left (resp. right) quotient ring of the algebra ${\mathbb{I}}_n$ .  相似文献

A group distance magic labeling or a ${\mathcal{G}}$ -distance magic labeling of a graph G =  (V, E) with ${|V | = n}$ is a bijection f from V to an Abelian group ${\mathcal{G}}$ of order n such that the weight ${w(x) = \sum_{y\in N_G(x)}f(y)}$ of every vertex ${x \in V}$ is equal to the same element ${\mu \in \mathcal{G}}$ , called the magic constant. In this paper we will show that if G is a graph of order n =  2 p (2k + 1) for some natural numbers p, k such that ${\deg(v)\equiv c \mod {2^{p+1}}}$ for some constant c for any ${v \in V(G)}$ , then there exists a ${\mathcal{G}}$ -distance magic labeling for any Abelian group ${\mathcal{G}}$ of order 4n for the composition G[C 4]. Moreover we prove that if ${\mathcal{G}}$ is an arbitrary Abelian group of order 4n such that ${\mathcal{G} \cong \mathbb{Z}_2 \times\mathbb{Z}_2 \times \mathcal{A}}$ for some Abelian group ${\mathcal{A}}$ of order n, then there exists a ${\mathcal{G}}$ -distance magic labeling for any graph G[C 4], where G is a graph of order n and n is an arbitrary natural number.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the classification of mappings up to ${\mathcal{K}}$ -equivalence. We give several results of this type. We study semialgebraic deformations up to semialgebraic C 0 ${\mathcal{K}}$ -equivalence and bi-Lipschitz ${\mathcal{K}}$ -equivalence. We give an algebraic criterion for bi-Lipschitz ${\mathcal{K}}$ -triviality in terms of semi-integral closure (Theorem 3.5). We also give a new proof of a result of Nishimura: we show that two germs of smooth mappings ${f, g: \mathbb{R}^n \to \mathbb{R}^n}$ , finitely determined with respect to ${\mathcal{K}}$ -equivalence are C 0- ${\mathcal{K}}$ -equivalent if and only if they have the same degree in absolute value.  相似文献

Every subfield $ \mathbb{K} $ (φ) of the field of rational fractions $ \mathbb{K} $ (x 1,..., x n ) is contained in a unique maximal subfield of the form $ \mathbb{K} $ (ω). The element ω is said to be generating for the element φ. A subfield of $ \mathbb{K} $ (x 1,..., x n ) is said to be saturated if, together with every its element, the subfield also contains the generating element. In the paper, the saturation property is studied for the subfields of invariants $ \mathbb{K} $ (x 1,..., x n ) G of a finite group G of automorphisms of the field $ \mathbb{K} $ (x 1..., x n ).  相似文献
