Let X be a Banach space. We give characterizations of when is a u-ideal in for every Banach space Y in terms of nets of finite rank operators approximating weakly compact operators. In the work of Hoshino, Kato and Miyachi, [11], the authors look at t-structures induced by a compact object, , of a triangulated category, , which is rigid in the sense of Iyama and Yoshino, [12]. Hoshino, Kato and Miyachi show that such an object yields a non-degenerate t-structure on whose heart is equivalent to Mod(End()op). Rigid objects in a triangulated category can the thought of as behaving like chain differential graded algebras (DGAs). Analogously, looking at objects which behave like cochain DGAs naturally gives the dual notion of a corigid object. Here, we see that a compact corigid object, , of a triangulated category, , induces a structure similar to a t-structure which we shall call a co-t-structure. We also show that the coheart of this non-degenerate co-t-structure is equivalent to Mod(End()op), and hence an abelian subcategory of .   相似文献

We describe the structure of three dimensional sets of lattice points, having a small doubling property. Let be a finite subset of ℤ3 such that dim = 3. If and , then lies on three parallel lines. Moreover, for every three dimensional finite set that lies on three parallel lines, if , then is contained in three arithmetic progressions with the same common difference, having together no more than terms. These best possible results confirm a recent conjecture of Freiman and cannot be sharpened by reducing the quantity υ or by increasing the upper bounds for .  相似文献

Let be a family of meromorphic functions in a plane domain D, and a and b be finite non-zero complex values such that . If for and , then is normal. We also construct a non-normal family of meromorphic functions in the unit disk Δ={|z|<1} such that for every and in Δ, where m is a given positive integer. This answers Problem 5.1 in the works of Gu, Pang and Fang. Let (F ) × α ℤ be the crossed product von Neumann algebra of the free group factor (F ), associated with the left regular representation λ of the free group F with the set {u r : r ∈ ℚ} of generators, by an automorphism α defined by α(λ(u r )) = exp(2πri)λ(u r ), where ℚ is the rational number set. We show that (F ) × α ℤ is a wΓ factor, and for each r ∈ ℚ, the von Neumann subalgebra generated in (F ) × α ℚ by λ(u r ) and υ is maximal injective, where υ is the unitary implementing the automorphism α. In particular, (F ) × α ℣ is a wΓ factor with a maximal abelian selfadjoint subalgebra which cannot be contained in any hyperfinite type II1 subfactor of (F ) × α ℚ. This gives a counterexample of Kadison’s problem in the case of wΓ factor. Given the hyperbolic measure dxdy/y 2 on the upper half plane ℍ, the rational actions of PSL2(ℝ) on ℍ induces a continuous unitary representation α of this group on the Hilbert space L 2(ℍ, dxdy/y 2). Supposing that = {M f : fL (ℍ, dxdy/y 2)}, we show that the crossed product is of type I. In fact, the crossed product is *-isomorphic to the von Neumann algebra , where is the abelian group von Neumann algebra generated by the left regular representation of K. New solutions of twist equations for the universal enveloping algebras U (An−1) are found. These solutions can be represented as products of full chains of extended Jordanian twists Abelian factors (“rotations”) , and sets of quasi-Jordanian twists . The latter are generalizations of Jordanian twists (with carrier b2) for special deformed extensions of the Hopf algebra U (b2). The carrier subalgebra for the composition is a nonminimal parabolic subalgebra in A n−1 such that . The parabolic twisting elements are obtained in an explicit form. Let be a smooth family of surfaces whose general fibre is a smooth surface of ℙ3 and whose special fibre has two smooth components, intersecting transversally along a smooth curve R. We consider the Universal Severi-Enriques variety on . The general fibre of is the variety of curves on in the linear system with k cusps and δ nodes as singularities. Our problem is to find all irreducible components of the special fibre of . In this paper, we consider only the cases (k, δ) = (0, 1) and (k, δ) = (1, 0). We show that there exists a reflexive Banach space $ (\mathcal{X},\parallel .\parallel ) We show that there exists a reflexive Banach space and a strongly continuous semigroup with generator on such that but is not eventually norm continuous. This answers a question of Amnon Pazy in the negative. The class of projectively condensed semigroups is a quasivariety of unary semigroups, the class of projective orthomonoids is a subquasivariety of . Some well-known classes of generalized completely regular semigroups will be regarded as subquasivarieties of . We give the structure semilattice composition and the standard representation of projective orthomonoids, and then obtain the structure theorems of various generalized orthogroups. In this paper we mainly study the derivations for even part of the finite-dimensional odd Hamiltonian superalgebra HO over a field of prime characteristic. We first give the generating set of the even part g of HO. Then we compute the derivations from g into the even part m of the generalized Witt superalgebra. Finally, we determine the derivation algebra and outer derivation algebra of and the dimension formulas. In particular, the first cohomology groups H^1(g;m) and H^1(g;g) are determined.  相似文献

A Furstenberg family F is a family,consisting of some subsets of the set of positive integers,which is hereditary upwards,i.e.A■B and A∈F imply B∈F.For a given system (i.e.,a pair of a complete metric space and a continuous self-map of the space) and for a Furstenberg family F, the definition of F-scrambled pairs of points in the space has been given,which brings the well-known scrambled pairs in Li-Yorke sense and the scrambled pairs in distribution sense to be F-scrambled pairs corresponding respectively to suitable Furstenberg family F.In the present paper we explore the basic properties of the set of F-scrambled pairs of a system.The generically F-chaotic system and the generically strongly F-chaotic system are defined.A criterion for a generically strongly F-chaotic system is showed.  相似文献
