Hydrogenolysis of the half‐sandwich penta‐arylcyclopentadienyl‐supported heavy alkaline‐earth‐metal alkyl complexes (CpAr)Ae[CH(SiMe3)2](S) (CpAr=C5Ar5, Ar=3,5‐iPr2‐C6H3; S=THF or DABCO) in hexane afforded the calcium, strontium, and barium metal–hydride complexes as the same dimers [(CpAr)Ae(μ‐H)(S)]2 (Ae=Ca, S=THF, 2‐Ca ; Ae=Sr, Ba, S=DABCO, 4‐Ae ), which were characterized by NMR spectroscopy and single‐crystal X‐ray analysis. 2‐Ca , 4‐Sr , and 4‐Ba catalyzed alkene hydrogenation under mild conditions (30 °C, 6 atm, 5 mol % cat.), with the activity increasing with the metal size. A variety of activated alkenes including tri‐ and tetra‐substituted olefins, semi‐activated alkene (Me3SiCH=CH2), and unactivated terminal alkene (1‐hexene) were evaluated.  相似文献

Organometallic Compounds of the Lanthanides. 139 Mixed Sandwich Complexes of the 4 f Elements: Enantiomerically Pure Cyclooctatetraenyl Cyclopentadienyl Complexes of Samarium and Lutetium with Donor‐Functionalized Cyclopentadienyl Ligands The reactions of [K{(S)‐C5H4CH2CH(Me)OMe}], [K{(S)‐C5H4CH2CH(Me)NMe2}] and [K{(S)‐C5H4CH(Ph)CH2NMe2}] with the cyclooctatetraenyl lanthanide chlorides [(η8‐C8H8)Ln(μ‐Cl)(THF)]2 (Ln = Sm, Lu) yield the mixed cyclooctatetraenyl cyclopentadienyl lanthanide complexes [(η8‐C8H8)Sm{(S)‐η5 : η1‐C5H4CH2CH(Me)OMe}] ( 1 a ), [(η8‐C8H8)Ln{(S)‐η5 : η1‐C5H4CH2CH(Me)NMe2}] (Ln = Sm ( 2 a ), Lu ( 2 b )) and [(η8‐C8H8)Ln{(S)‐η5 : η1‐C5H4CH(Ph)CH2NMe2}] (Ln = Sm ( 3 a ), Lu ( 3 b )). For comparison, the achiral compounds [(η8‐C8H8)Ln{η5 : η1‐C5H4CH2CH2NMe2}] (Ln = Sm ( 4 a ), Lu ( 4 b )) are synthesized in an analogous manner. 1H‐, 13C‐NMR‐, and mass spectra of all new compounds as well as the X‐ray crystal structures of 3 b and 4 b are discussed.  相似文献

Unusual chemical transformations such as three‐component combination and ring‐opening of N‐heterocycles or formation of a carbon–carbon double bond through multiple C–H activation were observed in the reactions of TpMe2‐supported yttrium alkyl complexes with aromatic N‐heterocycles. The scorpionate‐anchored yttrium dialkyl complex [TpMe2Y(CH2Ph)2(THF)] reacted with 1‐methylimidazole in 1:2 molar ratio to give a rare hexanuclear 24‐membered rare‐earth metallomacrocyclic compound [TpMe2Y(μN,C‐Im)(η2N,C‐Im)]6 ( 1 ; Im=1‐methylimidazolyl) through two kinds of C–H activations at the C2‐ and C5‐positions of the imidazole ring. However, [TpMe2Y(CH2Ph)2(THF)] reacted with two equivalents of 1‐methylbenzimidazole to afford a C–C coupling/ring‐opening/C–C coupling product [TpMe2Y{η3‐(N,N,N)‐N(CH3)C6H4NHCH?C(Ph)CN(CH3)C6H4NH}] ( 2 ). Further investigations indicated that [TpMe2Y(CH2Ph)2(THF)] reacted with benzothiazole in 1:1 or 1:2 molar ratio to produce a C–C coupling/ring‐opening product {(TpMe2)Y[μ‐η21‐SC6H4N(CH?CHPh)](THF)}2 ( 3 ). Moreover, the mixed TpMe2/Cp yttrium monoalkyl complex [(TpMe2)CpYCH2Ph(THF)] reacted with two equivalents of 1‐methylimidazole in THF at room temperature to afford a trinuclear yttrium complex [TpMe2CpY(μ‐N,C‐Im)]3 ( 5 ), whereas when the above reaction was carried out at 55 °C for two days, two structurally characterized metal complexes [TpMe2Y(Im‐TpMe2)] ( 7 ; Im‐TpMe2=1‐methyl‐imidazolyl‐TpMe2) and [Cp3Y(HIm)] ( 8 ; HIm=1‐methylimidazole) were obtained in 26 and 17 % isolated yields, respectively, accompanied by some unidentified materials. The formation of 7 reveals an uncommon example of construction of a C?C bond through multiple C–H activations.  相似文献

The potassium dihydrotriazinide K(LPh,tBu) ( 1 ) was obtained by a metal exchange route from [Li(LPh,tBu)(THF)3] and KOtBu (LPh,tBu = [N{C(Ph)=N}2C(tBu)Ph]). Reaction of 1 with 1 or 0.5 equivalents of SmI2(thf)2 yielded the monosubstituted SmII complex [Sm(LPh,tBu)I(THF)4] ( 2 ) or the disubstituted [Sm(LPh,tBu)2(THF)2] ( 3 ), respectively. Attempted synthesis of a heteroleptic SmII amido‐alkyl complex by the reaction of 2 with KCH2Ph produced compound 3 due to ligand redistribution. The YbII bis(dihydrotriazinide) [Yb(LPh,tBu)2(THF)2] ( 4 ) was isolated from the 1:1 reaction of YbI2(THF)2 and 1 . Molecular structures of the crystalline compounds 2 , 3· 2C6H6 and 4· PhMe were determined by X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

One‐electron reduction of C2‐arylated 1,3‐imidazoli(ni)um salts (IPrAr)Br (Ar=Ph, 3 a ; 4‐DMP, 3 b ; 4‐DMP=4‐Me2NC6H4) and (SIPrAr)I (Ar=Ph, 4 a ; 4‐Tol, 4 b ) derived from classical NHCs (IPr=:C{N(2,6‐iPr2C6H3)}2CHCH, 1 ; SIPr=:C{N(2,6‐iPr2C6H3)}2CH2CH2, 2 ) gave radicals [(IPrAr)]. (Ar=Ph, 5 a ; 4‐DMP, 5 b ) and [(SIPrAr)]. (Ar=Ph, 6 a ; 4‐Tol, 6 b ). Each of 5 a , b and 6 a , b exhibited a doublet EPR signal, a characteristic of monoradical species. The first solid‐state characterization of NHC‐derived carbon‐centered radicals 6 a , b by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction is reported. DFT calculations indicate that the unpaired electron is mainly located at the original carbene carbon atom and stabilized by partial delocalization over the adjacent aryl group.  相似文献

Secondary Hydroxyalkylphosphanes: Synthesis and Characterization of Mono‐, Bis‐ and Trisalkoxyphosphane‐substituted Zirconium Complexes and the Heterobimetallic Trinuclear Complex [Cp2Zr{O(CH2)3PHMes(AuCl)}2] The secondary hydroxyalkylphosphanes RPHCH2OH [R = 2,4,6‐Me3C6H2 (Mes) ( 1 ), 2,4,6‐iPr3C6H2 (Tipp) ( 2 )], 1‐AdPH‐2‐OH‐cyclo‐C6H10 ( 3 ) and RPH(CH2)3OH [R = Ph ( 4 ), Mes ( 5 ), Tipp ( 6 ), Cy ( 7 ), tBu ( 8 )] were obtained from primary phosphanes RPH2 and formaldehyde ( 1 , 2 ) or from LiPHR and cyclohexene oxide ( 3 ) or trimethylene oxide ( 4 ‐ 8 ). Starting from 5 or 7 and [CpR2ZrMe2] [CpR = C5EtMe4 (Cp°), C5H5 (Cp), C5MeH4 (Cp′)], the monoalkoxyphosphane‐substituted zirconocene complexes [CpR2Zr(Me){O(CH2)3PHMes}] [CpR = Cp° ( 9 ), Cp ( 10 )] were prepared. With [CpR2ZrCl2], the bisalkoxyphosphane‐substituted complexes [Cp′2Zr{O(CH2)3PHMes}2] ( 11 ) and [Cp2Zr{O(CH2)3PHCy}2] ( 12 ) are obtained, and with [TpRZrCl3], the trisalkoxyphosphane‐substituted zirconium complexes [TpRZr{O(CH2)3PHMes}3] [TpR = trispyrazolylborato (Tp) ( 13 ), TpR = tris(3,5‐dimethyl)pyrazolylborato (Tp*) ( 14 )] are prepared. The reaction of 5 with [AuCl(tht)] (tht = tetrahydrothiophene) yielded the mononuclear complex [AuCl{PHMes(CH2)3OH}] ( 15 ). The trinuclear complex [Cp2Zr{O(CH2)3PHMes(AuCl)}2] ( 16 ) was obtained from [Cp2ZrCl2] and 15 . Compounds 1 ‐ 16 were characterized spectroscopically (1H‐, 31P‐, 13C‐NMR; IR; MS) and compound 2 also by crystal structure determination. The bis‐ and trisalkoxyphosphane‐substituted complexes 11‐14 and 16 were obtained as mixtures of two diastereomers which could not be separated.  相似文献

Seven kinds of lanthanocene complexes were prepared by the reaction of tridentate Schiff base { N-(2-methoxyphenyI)sali-cylideneamine) with tris(cyclopentadienyl)lanthanide tetrahy-drofuranate or bis( cyclopentadienyl) lanthanide chloride te-trahydrofuranate in THF.All the complexes were characterized by MS,EA and IR respectively. The structure of {Cp2LnC14H13NO2) Ln=Sm,Dy,Y,Er} (1-4) was further confirmed by X-ray determination of Cp2Sm(C14H13NO2) (1) which indicates that the complex is monomeric in which central metal is coordinatively saturated by two cyclopentadienyl rings, two oxygens and one nitrogen of the ligand. The i-somerization of 1,5-hexadiene explains that complexes (1-4) isomerize this monomer into a mixture of 1,4-hexadiene,2,4-hexadiene,1,3-hexadiene,methylenecydopentane and methyl -cydopentene.Similarly complexes {CpLn(Cl)C14 H13NO2) (THF) (Ln=Sm,Dy,Y,Er)} (5-7) polymerize methyl-methacrylate (MMA.) to give polyMMA (PMMA) in 51.8% yield and high molecular weight (274×103),which shows nar  相似文献

A series of cationic rare‐earth aryloxide complexes, i.e., [LREOAr']+[B(C6F5)4] (L = CH3C(NAr)CHC(CH3)(NCH(R)CH2PPh2); RE = Y, Lu; Ar' =2,6‐tBu2‐C6H3, 2,6‐(PhCMe2)2‐4‐Me‐C6H2; Ar = 2,6‐iPr2‐C6H3, 2,6‐(Ph2CH)2‐4‐iPr‐C6H2; R = H, CH3, iPr, Ph), were prepared and applied to the Lewis pair polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA). The stereoregularity of the resulting PMMA was significantly affected by the R substituent on the pendant arm of the tridentate NNP ligand, and was found to increase with increase in the steric hindrance of R. When using a Ph group as R, the Y complex produced a highly isotactic polymer with an mm value of 95% and a Tg of 54.6 oC. In contrast, the steric hindrance of the Ar and Ar' groups had no effect on the tacticity of the resulting polymer, presumably because these two substituents were situated such that they pointed outward from the cyclic intermediates. Kinetics studies demonstrated that the polymerization was a first‐order process with regard to the monomer concentration prior to catalyst deactivation. End group analysis indicated that the polymerization was accompanied by two possibly competing chain‐termination side reactions that proceeded via intramolecular backbiting cyclization.  相似文献

The lanthanidocene complex [Sm(BH4)(C12H19)2(C4H8O)], (I), shows a distorted tetrahedral arrangement around the central SmIII atom. It consists of two η5‐isopropyltetramethylcyclopentadienyl ligands, one tetrahydroborato (BH4?) ligand bridging via H atoms to the lanthanide atom and one coordinating tetrahydrofuran (thf) molecule. The BH4? unit of (I) coordinates as a tridentate ligand with three bridging H atoms and one terminal H atom [Sm—B—H4 176 (2)°]. The η5‐isopropyltetramethylcyclopentadienyl ligands of this bent‐sandwich complex [Cp1—Sm—Cp2 133.53 (1)° where Cp denotes the centroid of the cyclopentadienyl ring] adopt staggered conformations.  相似文献

Some bis(cyclopentadienyl)titanium(IV) complexes of the type [Cp2TiCl2?n{L}n] {where, n = 1 or 2; L = ONC(R)Ar; R = H or CH3 and Ar = C5H4N‐2, C4H3O‐2 or C4H3S‐2} have been synthesized by the metathetical reactions of Cp2TiCl2 with the sodium salt of internally functionalized oximes in 1:1 and 1:2 stoichiometry in anhydrous THF. All these red to brown colored solid derivatives have been characterized by elemental analyses, FT‐IR and NMR (1H and 13C{1H}) spectral studies. The FAB mass spectra of some representative derivatives indicate their monomeric nature. Oximato ligands in all the complexes appear to bind the titanium via N and O in a dihapto ( ‐N, O) manner in the solid state. Thermogravimetric curves of [Cp2TiCl{ONC(CH3)C5H4N‐2}] and [Cp2Ti{ONC(CH3)C5H4N‐2}2] suggest the formation of hybrid materials CpTiO(Cl) and Cp2TiO, respectively, as the final products at 900 °C under nitrogen atmosphere. Sol–gel transformations of Cp2TiCl2, [Cp2TiCl{ONC(CH3)C5H4N‐2}] and [Cp2Ti{ONC(CH3)C5H4N‐2}2] yielded titania a–c, respectively, at low sintering temperature (600 °C). The powder XRD patterns, IR as well as Raman spectra of all these oxides indicate the formation of nano‐sized anatase phase. The SEM images of titania a–c indicate agglomers like surface morphologies. The absorption spectra of a–c exhibit an energy band gap in the range of 3.47–3.71 eV. Reaction of potassium salt of N‐aryliminopyrrole ligand [2‐(2, 6‐iPr2C6H3N=CH)–C4H3NK] ( 1 ) with samarium tris‐boro‐hydride [Sm(BH4)3(THF)3] gave a samarium ate complex [η2‐{2‐(2, 6‐iPr2C6H3N=CH)–C4H3N}3Sm(η1‐BH4){K(THF)6] ( 2 ); whereas similar treatment with erbium borohydride [Er(BH4)3(THF)3] afforded the mono(iminopyrrolyl) complex [η2‐{2‐(2, 6‐iPr2C6H3N=CH)–C4H3N}Er(η3‐BH4)2(THF)2] ( 3 ). In the solid‐state structures, the samarium complex 2 shows a rarely observed η1 and the erbium complex 3 shows a usual η3 coordination mode of the borohydrido ligand.  相似文献

Hydride complexes Mo,W(CO)(NO)H(mer‐etpip) (iPr2PCH2CH2)2PPh=etpip) ( 2 a,b(syn) , syn and anti of NO and Ph(etpip) orientions) were prepared and probed in imine hydrogenations together with co‐catalytic [H(Et2O)2][B(C6F5)4] (140 °C, 60 bar H2). 2 a,b(syn) were obtained via reduction of syn/anti‐Mo,W(NO)Cl3(mer‐etpip) and syn, anti‐Mo,W(NO)(CO)Cl(mer‐etpip). [H(Et2O)2][B(C6F5)4] in THF converted the hydrides into THF complexes syn‐[Mo,W(NO)(CO)(etpip)(THF)][B(C6F5)4]. Combinations of the p‐substituents of aryl imines p‐R1C6H4CH=N‐p‐C6H4R2 (R1,R2=H,F,Cl,OMe,α‐Np) were hydrogenated to amines (maximum initial TOFs of 1960 h?1 ( 2 a(syn) ) and 740 h?1 ( 2 b(syn) ) for N‐(4‐methoxybenzylidene)aniline). An ‘ionic hydrogenation’ mechanism based on linear Hammett plots (ρ=?10.5, p‐substitution on the C‐side and ρ=0.86, p‐substitution on the N‐side), iminium intermediates, linear P(H2) dependence, and DKIE=1.38 is proposed. Heterolytic splitting of H2 followed by ‘proton before hydride’ transfers are the steps in the ionic mechanism where H2 ligand addition is rate limiting.  相似文献

A series of monocyclopentadienyl titanium complexes containing a pendant amine donor on a Cp group ( A = CpTiCl3, B = CpNTiCl3, C = CpNTiCl2TEMPO, for Cp = C5H5, CpN = C5H4CH2CH2N(CH3)2, and TEMPO = 2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidine‐N‐oxyl) are investigated for styrene homopolymerization and ethylene–styrene (ES) copolymerization. When activated by methylaluminoxane at 70 °C, complexes with the amine group ( B and C ) are active for styrene homopolymerization and afford syndiotactic polystyrene (sPS). The copolymerizations of ethylene and styrene with B and C yield high‐molecular weight ES copolymer, whereas complex A yields mixtures of sPS and polyethylene, revealing the critical role that the pendant amine has on the polymerization behavior of the complexes. Fractionation, NMR, and DSC analyses of the ES copolymers generated from B and C suggest that they contain sPS. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Pincer‐type palladium complexes are among the most active Heck catalysts. Due to their exceptionally high thermal stability and the fact that they contain PdII centers, controversial PdII/PdIV cycles have been often proposed as potential catalytic mechanisms. However, pincer‐type PdIV intermediates have never been experimentally observed, and computational studies to support the proposed PdII/PdIV mechanisms with pincer‐type catalysts have never been carried out. In this computational study the feasibility of potential catalytic cycles involving PdIV intermediates was explored. Density functional calculations were performed on experimentally applied aminophosphine‐, phosphine‐, and phosphite‐based pincer‐type Heck catalysts with styrene and phenyl bromide as substrates and (E)‐stilbene as coupling product. The potential‐energy surfaces were calculated in dimethylformamide (DMF) as solvent and demonstrate that PdII/PdIV mechanisms are thermally accessible and thus a true alternative to formation of palladium nanoparticles. Initial reaction steps of the lowest energy path of the catalytic cycle of the Heck reaction include dissociation of the chloride ligands from the neutral pincer complexes [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd(Cl)] [X=NH, R=piperidinyl ( 1 a ); X=O, R=piperidinyl ( 1 b ); X=O, R=iPr ( 1 c ); X=CH2, R=iPr ( 1 d )] to yield cationic, three‐coordinate, T‐shaped 14e? palladium intermediates of type [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd]+ ( 2 ). An alternative reaction path to generate complexes of type 2 (relevant for electron‐poor pincer complexes) includes initial coordination of styrene to 1 to yield styrene adducts [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd(Cl)(CH2?CHPh)] ( 4 ) and consecutive dissociation of the chloride ligand to yield cationic square‐planar styrene complexes [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd(CH2?CHPh)]+ ( 6 ) and styrene. Cationic styrene adducts of type 6 were additionally found to be the resting states of the catalytic reaction. However, oxidative addition of phenyl bromide to 2 result in pentacoordinate PdIV complexes of type [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd(Br)(C6H5)]+ ( 11 ), which subsequently coordinate styrene (in trans position relative to the phenyl unit of the pincer cores) to yield hexacoordinate phenyl styrene complexes [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd(Br)(C6H5)(CH2?CHPh)]+ ( 12 ). Migration of the phenyl ligand to the olefinic bond gives cationic, pentacoordinate phenylethenyl complexes [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd(Br)(CHPhCH2Ph)]+ ( 13 ). Subsequent β‐hydride elimination induces direct HBr liberation to yield cationic, square‐planar (E)‐stilbene complexes with general formula [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd(CHPh?CHPh)]+ ( 14 ). Subsequent liberation of (E)‐stilbene closes the catalytic cycle.  相似文献

The 1‐azonia‐2‐boratanaphthalenes (NH)(BX)C8H6 can be synthesized from 2‐aminostyrene and the dihaloboranes XBHal2 ( 1 ‐ 4 : X = Cl, Br, iPr, tBu). Further derivatives (NH)(BX)C8H6 are obtained from 1 by replacing Cl by alkoxy or alkyl groups [ 5 ‐ 8 : X = OMe, OtBu, Me, (CH2)3NMe2]. The hydrolysis of 1 gives a mixture of the bis(azoniaboratanaphthyl) oxide [(NH)BC8H6]2O ( 9 ) and the hydroxy derivative (NH)[B(OH)]C8H6 ( 10 ). The diboryl oxide 9 crystallizes in the space group C2/c. The lithiation of 4 at the nitrogen atom gives [NLi(tmen)](BtBu)C8H6 ( 11 ), which upon reaction with the diborane(4) B2Cl2(NMe2)2 yields the 1, 2‐bis(azoniaboratanaphthyl)diborane B2[N(BtBu)C8H6]2(NMe2)2 ( 12 ). The 2‐chloro‐1‐methyl‐4‐phenyl derivative (NMe)(BCl)C8H5Ph ( 13 ) of the parent (NH)(BH)C8H6 can be synthesized from the aminoborane BCl2(NMePh) and phenylethyne. Substitution of Cl in 13 gives the derivatives (NMe)(BX)C8H5Ph [ 14 ‐ 20 : X = N(SiMe3)2, Me, Et, iBu, tBu, CH2SiMe3, Ph] and the reaction of 13 with Li2O affords the bis(azoniaboratanaphthyl) oxide [(NMe)BC8H5Ph]2O ( 21 ). The reaction of 16 or 19 with [(MeCN)3Cr(CO)3] yields the complexes [{(NMe)(BX)C8H5Ph}Cr(CO)3] ( 22 , 23 : X = Et, CH2SiMe3), in which the chromium atom is hexahapto bound to the homoarene part of 16 or 19 , respectively. The complex 23 crystallizes in the space group P21/c. Upon reaction of the phenols para‐C6H4R(OH) with the aryldichloroboranes ArBCl2 and subsequent condensation of the products with phenylethyne, the 1‐oxonia‐2‐boratanaphthalenes O(BAr)C8H4RPh with R in position 6 and Ph in position 4 are formed ( 24 ‐ 26 : Ar = Ph, R = H, Me, OMe; 27 ‐ 29 : Ar = C6F5, R = H, Me, OMe). The azoniaboratanaphthalenes 1 ‐ 23 were characterized by NMR methods.  相似文献

Sequential treatment of 2‐C6H4Br(CHO) with LiC≡CR1 (R1=SiMe3, tBu), nBuLi, CuBr?SMe2 and HC≡CCHClR2 [R2=Ph, 4‐CF3Ph, 3‐CNPh, 4‐(MeO2C)Ph] at ?50 °C leads to formation of an intermediate carbanion (Z)‐1,2‐C6H4{CA(=O)C≡CBR1}{CH=CH(CH?)R2} ( 4 ). Low temperatures (?50 °C) favour attack at CB leading to kinetic formation of 6,8‐bicycles containing non‐classical C‐carbanion enolates ( 5 ). Higher temperatures (?10 °C to ambient) and electron‐deficient R2 favour retro σ‐bond C?C cleavage regenerating 4 , which subsequently closes on CA providing 6,6‐bicyclic alkoxides ( 6 ). Computational modelling (CBS‐QB3) indicated that both pathways are viable and of similar energies. Reaction of 6 with H+ gave 1,2‐dihydronaphthalen‐1‐ols, or under dehydrating conditions, 2‐aryl‐1‐alkynylnaphthlenes. Enolates 5 react in situ with: H2O, D2O, I2, allylbromide, S2Me2, CO2 and lead to the expected C ‐E derivatives (E=H, D, I, allyl, SMe, CO2H) in 49–64 % yield directly from intermediate 5 . The parents (E=H; R1=SiMe3, tBu; R2=Ph) are versatile starting materials for NaBH4 and Grignard C=O additions, desilylation (when R1=SiMe) and oxime formation. The latter allows formation of 6,9‐bicyclics via Beckmann rearrangement. The 6,8‐ring iodides are suitable Suzuki precursors for Pd‐catalysed C?C coupling (81–87 %), whereas the carboxylic acids readily form amides under T3P® conditions (71–95 %).  相似文献

The first four‐coordinate methanediide/alkyl lutetium complex (BODDI)Lu2(CH2SiMe3)22‐CHSiMe3)(THF)2 (BODDI=ArNC(Me)CHCOCHC(Me)NAr, Ar=2,6‐iPr2C6H3) ( 1 ) was synthesized by a thermolysis methodology through α‐H abstraction from a Lu–CH2SiMe3 group. Complex 1 reacted with equimolar 2,6‐iPrC6H3NH2 and Ph2C?O to give the corresponding lutetium bridging imido and oxo complexes (BODDI)Lu2(CH2SiMe3)22N‐2,6‐iPr2C6H3)(THF)2 ( 2 ) and (BODDI)Lu2(CH2SiMe3)22‐O)(THF)2 ( 3 ). Treatment of 3 with Ph2C?O (4 equiv) caused a rare insertion of Lu–μ2‐O bond into the C?O group to afford a diphenylmethyl diolate complex 4 . Reaction of 1 with PhN=C?O (2 equiv) led to the migration of SiMe3 to the amido nitrogen atom to give complex (BODDI)Lu2(CH2SiMe3)2‐μ‐{PhNC(O)CHC(O)NPh(SiMe3)‐κ3N,O,O}(THF) ( 5 ). Reaction of 1 with tBuN?C formed an unprecedented product (BODDI)Lu2(CH2SiMe3){μ2‐[η22tBuNC(=CH2)SiMe2CHC?NtBu‐κ1N]}(tBuN?C)2 ( 6 ) through a cascade reaction of N?C bond insertion, sequential cyclometalative γ‐(sp3)‐H activation, C?C bond formation, and rearrangement of the newly formed carbene intermediate. The possible mechanistic pathways between 1 , PhN?C?O, and tBuN?C were elucidated by DFT calculations.  相似文献

The dicarbollide ion, nido‐C2B9H112? is isoelectronic with cyclopentadienyl. Herein, we make dysprosiacarboranes, namely [(C2B9H11)2Ln(THF)2][Na(THF)5] (Ln=Dy, 1Dy ) and [(THF)3(μ‐H)3Li]2[{η5‐C6H4(CH2)2C2B9H9}Dy{η25‐C6H4(CH2)2C2B9H9}2Li] 3Dy and show that dicarbollide ligands impose strong magnetic axiality on the central DyIII ion. The effective energy barrier (Ueff) for the loss of magnetization can be varied by the substitution pattern on the dicarbollide. This finding is demonstrated by comparing complexes of nido‐C2B9H112? and nido‐[o‐xylylene‐C2B9H9]2?, which show a Ueff of 430(5) K and 804(7) K, respectively. The blocking temperature defined by the open hysteresis temperature of 3Dy reaches 6.8 K. Moreover, the linear complex [Dy(C2B9H11)2]? is predicted to have comparable properties with the linear [Dy(CpMe3)2]+ complex. As such, carboranyl ligands and their derivatives may provide a new type of organometallic ligand for high‐performance single‐molecule magnets.  相似文献

The stepwise reaction of Me2SiCl2 with K[C5H3 tBuMe‐3] or Li[C9H7] and then with K[C9H6CH2CH2‐ NMe2‐1] followed by double deprotonation with NaH or LiBu, yields the two dimethylsilicon bridged cyclopentadienyl‐indenyl and indenyl‐indenyl donor‐functionalized ligand systems K2[(C5H2 tBu‐3‐Me‐5)SiMe2(1‐C9H5CH2CH2NMe2‐3)] ( 1 ), and Li2[(1‐C9H6)SiMe2(1‐C9H5CH2CH2NMe2‐3)] ( 2 ), respectively. Treatment of 1 with YCl3(THF)3, SmCl3(THF)1.77, TmI3(DME)3, and LuCl3(THF)3 gives the mixed ansa‐metallocenes [(C5H2 tBu‐3‐Me‐5)SiMe2(1‐C9H5CH2CH2NMe2‐3)]LnX (X = Cl, Ln = Y ( 3 ), Sm ( 4 ), Lu ( 5 ); X = I, Ln = Tm ( 6 )), respectively. The reaction of 2 with LuCl3(THF)3 yields [(1‐C9H6)SiMe2(1‐C9H5CH2CH2NMe2‐3)]LuCl ( 7 ). Compound 4 reacts with LiMe to give the corresponding alkyl derivative [(C5H2 tBu‐3‐Me‐5)SiMe2(1‐C9H5CH2CH2NMe2‐3)]Sm(CH3) ( 8 ). The new complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, MS spectrometry, and NMR spectroscopy. The molecular structures of 5 and 6 were determined by single crystal X‐ray diffraction.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of the ditopic bis(pyrazol‐1‐yl)borate ligand Li2[p‐C6H4(B(C6F5)pz2)2] is reported (pz = pyrazol‐1‐yl). Compared to the corresponding t‐butyl derivative Li2[p‐C6H4(B(t‐Bu)pz2)2], the C6F5‐substituted scorpionate is significantly more stable towards hydrolysis. Reaction of Li2[p‐C6H4(B(C6F5)pz2)2] with two equivalents of MnCl2 leads to the formation of coordination polymers {(MnCl2)2(Li(THF)3)2[p‐C6H4(B(C6F5)pz2)2]} featuring penta‐coordinate MnII ions chelated by one bis(pyrazol‐1‐yl)borate fragment and further bonded to three chloride ions. Two of the three chloride ions are also coordinated to a neighbouring MnII ion; the third chloro ligand is shared between the MnII centre and a Li(THF)3 moiety.  相似文献
