The refinement of the crystal structure of Cu2O(SO4), dolerophanite, [a=9.370 (1) Å,b=6.319 (1) Å,c=7.639 (1) Å, =122.34 (1)°; space group C 2/m;Z=4;R=0.035] confirmed the trigonal dipyramidal coordination of one Cu(II) atom (mean distance Cu-O=2.025 Å). One O atom is tetrahedrally surrounded by four Cu(II) atoms; the mean Cu(II)-O distance of 1.918 Å compares well to [O Cu(II)4] tetrahedra found in inorganic crystal structures.de|Die Verfeinerung der Kristallstruktur von Cu2O(SO4), Dolerophanit, [a=9.370 (1) Å,b=6.319 (1) Å,c=7.639 (1) Å, =122.34 (1)°; Raumgruppe C 2/m;Z=4;R=0.035] bestätigte die trigonal dipyramidale Koordination des einen Cu(II)-Atoms (mittlerer Cu-O-Abstand=2.025 Å).

The S-methyl thiosemicarbazone derivatives of 2-amino-5-chlorobenzophenone and 2-(2-hydroxybenzylidene)amino-5-chlorobenzophenone (LI and LII) and their copper(II) and palladium(II) chelates were synthesized. The solid compounds, [Cu(LI)Cl]Cl · 2H2O, [Cu(LII)Cl]Cl · H2O, [Pd(LI)Cl]Cl, and [Pd(LII)Cl2], were characterized by elemental analysis, thermogravimetric measurements, electronic, i.r., 1H-n.m.r. and e.p.r. spectroscopy. The ligand behavior of the LI and LII explained by means of spectroscopic data. The experimental X-band e.p.r. spectra recorded from two different copper(II) ion coordinated powder complexes have characteristic line shapes that exhibit the axial symmetry around the paramagnetic ions. The theoretically well fitted spectra prove this case too. The absence of hyperfine signals has been attributed to the strong covalency effects of copper electrons with neighbouring N atoms. Orbital energy levels for magnetic electrons were determined from Spin Hamiltonian parameters. The anisotropic Lande splitting factors were specified in an order of and this case indicates that the unpaired electrons are located mainly in the orbital.  相似文献

A novel route for the synthesis of Cu(II)‐triazolophthalazine complexes using the Cu(II)‐promoted cyclization dehydrogenation reactions of hydrazonophthalazines under reflux was presented. Two hydrazonophthalazines were cyclized to the corresponding triazolophthalazine ligands, 3‐pyridin‐2‐yl‐3,10b‐dihydro‐[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4‐a]phthalazine ( TPP ) and 3‐(3,10b‐dihydro‐[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4‐a]phthalazin‐3‐yl)‐benzoic acid ( TP3COOH ), followed by in situ complexation with Cu(II) yielding six novel Cu(II)‐triazolophthalazine complexes depending on the reaction conditions. The molecular and supramolecular structures of the Cu(II)‐triazolophthalazine complexes were discussed. The metal sites have rectangular pyramidal geometry in the [Cu(TPP)Cl2]2; 1 and [Cu(TP3COOEt)Cl2(H2O)]2; 4 dinuclear complexes, distorted square planar in [Cu(TP3COOMe)2Cl2]; 3 , [Cu(TP3COOH)2Cl2]; 5 and [Cu(TP3COOH)2Cl2]·H2O; 6 and a distorted octahedral in [Cu(TPP)(H2O)2(NO3)2]; 2 . Hirshfeld analysis showed that the O…H, C…H, Cl…H (except TP3COOH and 2 ), N…H and π‐π stacking interactions are the most important intermolecular contacts. The π‐π stacking interactions are the maximum for TP3COOH and complex 6 with net C…C/C…N contacts of 19.4% and 15.4%, respectively. The orbital–orbital interaction energies of the Cu‐N/Cu‐Cl bonds correlated inversely with the corresponding Cu‐N/Cu‐Cl distances, respectively. The charge transfer processes between Cu(II) and ligand groups were also discussed. The charge densities of the Cu(II) centers are reduced to 0.663–0.995 e due to the interactions with the ligand groups coordinating it.  相似文献

Summary An anion (loss of 3N hydrogen) of a 2-acetylpyridine azacyclothiosemicarbazone coordinates in a planar conformation to the central Cu atom through the pyridyl N, azomethine N and thiolato S atoms. The interatomic distances are Cu{ie449-01}N = 2.016(6), Cu{ie449-02}N = 1.963(5) and Cu{ie449-03}S = 2.236(3) Å, respectively, with the fourth co-ordination site occupied by a bromine atom, Cu{ie449-04}Br = 2.359(2) Å.  相似文献

Condensation between 4′-aminobenzo-15-crown-5- and 4-antipyrinecarboxaldehyde yielded the functionalized crown ether (L = 1,5-dimethyl-4-[(2,3,5,6,8,9,11,12-octahydro-1,4,7,10,13-benzopentaoxacyclopentadecin-15-ylimino)methyl]-2-phenyl-1,2-dihydro-3H-pyrazol-3-one). A 1:1 (Na+:L) complex has been prepared. The reaction of Fe(II) and Cu(II) salts with L gave complexes of composition [Fe(L)Cl2] and [Cu(L)2Cl2]. Heteronuclear complexes [Fe(L)Cl2Na]ClO4 and [Cu(L)2Cl2Na]ClO4 have also been synthesized from the reactions of [Fe(L)Cl2] and [Cu(L)2Cl2] with NaClO4. The compounds have been characterized by microanalyses and spectroscopic methods.  相似文献

Complexes of the type [M(pash)Cl] and [M(Hpash)(H2O)SO4] (M=Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II); Hpash = p-amino acetophenone salicyloyl hydrazone) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, molar electrical conductance, magnetic moments, electronic, ESR and IR spectra, thermal studies and X-ray powder diffraction. All the complexes are insoluble in common organic solvents and are non-electrolytes. The magnetic moment values and electronic spectra indicate a square-planar geometry for Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) chloride complexes and spin-free octahedral geometry for the sulfato complexes. The ligand coordinates through >C=N–,–NH2 and a deprotonated enolate group in all the chloro complexes, and through >C=N–, >C=O and–NH2 in the sulfato complexes. Thermal analyses (TGA and DTA) of [Cu(pash)Cl] show a multi-step exothermic decomposition pattern. ESR spectral parameters of Cu(II) complexes in solid state at room temperature suggest the presence of the unpaired electron in d x 2 ? y 2 . X-ray powder diffraction parameters for [Cu(pash)Cl] and [Ni(Hpash)(H2O)SO4] correspond to tetragonal and orthorhombic crystal lattices, respectively. The complexes show a fair degree of antifungal activity against Aspergillus sp., Stemphylium sp. and Trichoderma sp. and moderate antibacterial activity against E. coli and Clostridium sp.  相似文献

Summary The new complexes K2[Ni(H2heo)2]·3H2O, K2[Pd-(H2heo)2], K2[Cu(heo)]·3H2O and [Cu2(heo)·2H2O] {heo = [(CONCH2CH2O)2]4-} were prepared and characterized by chemical analyses, conductivity measurements, thermogravimetry, magnetic susceptibility and i.r. and u.v. spectroscopy.Monomeric square planar structures with MN4 coordination spheres are found for the nickel and palladium complex anions. For copper, two different complexes were identified. In slightly alkaline media, a green insoluble nonelectrolyte [Cu2(heo)·2H2O] was prepared; the two copper(II) centres are bridged by the tetra-deprotonated ligand in a trans-planar configuration with the H2O molecules strongly coordinated to the copper(II). The copper(II) monomer has been prepared in strong alkaline media, this anion also contains the tetra-deprotonated ligand in a planar trans form.  相似文献

Few novel mixed ligand copper(II) complexes of the type [Cu(L)(Cl)2(H2O)], [Cu(L)2]Cl2, [Cu(L)L1] and [Cu(L)(phen)H2O]Cl2 (where L is the ligand obtained from the condensation of N-(2-aminoethyl)-1,3-propanediamine with m-nitrobenzaldehyde (La)/o-chlorobenzaldehyde (Lb)/benzaldehyde (Lc)/p-methoxybenzaldehyde (Ld)/p-hydroxybenzaldehyde (Le)/furfuraldehyde (Lf)/pyrrole-2-carboxaldehyde (Lg); L1 is another ligand obtained from the condensation of anthranilic acid with salicyaldehyde; phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) have been synthesized and characterized by the spectral and analytical techniques. From these data, it is found that the ligands adopt distorted octahedral geometry on metalation with Cu(II) ion. The XRD data indicate that the complexes are polycrystalline with nanosized grains. The SEM images of [Cu(La)phen(H2O)]Cl2 and [Cu(Lf)2]Cl2 complexes show that they have leaf and cauliflower like morphology. The in vitro biological screening effects of the investigated compounds have been tested against the bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Salmonella typhi, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus and fungi such as Aspergillus niger, Rhizopus stolonifer, Aspergillus flavus, Rhizoctonia bataicola and Candida albicans by the well diffusion method. A comparative study of MIC values of the Schiff base ligands and their complexes indicates that the complexes exhibit higher antimicrobial activity than the free ligands. An electrochemical study of the copper complexes containing electron withdrawing substituted ligands reveals that they prefer to bind to DNA in Cu(II) rather than Cu(I) oxidation state.  相似文献

Summary Two ditertiaryarsines,o-phenylenebis(diphenylarsine), (pdpa) ando-phenylenebis(di-p-tolylarsine), (pdta) yield some new complexes of palladium(II) and platinum(II). These are: square planar M(pdta)X2 · nCH2Cl2, [M = Pd, X = Cl, Br or NCS; M = Pt, X = Cl]; [Pt(A-A)2] X2 · nCH2Cl2, [(A-A) = pdta, X = Cl, NCS or ClO4; (A-A) = pdpa, X=ClO4] and [M2(A-A)2(NCS)2] (ClO4)2 · nCH2Cl2, [M = Pd, (A-A) = pdta; M = Pt, (A-A) = pdpa]; distorted octahedral M(pdta)2-X2nCH2Cl2, [M = Pd, X = I; M = Pt, X = Br or I] and [Pd(pdta)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2, and five coordinate [M(A-A)2X] ClO4 · nCH2Cl2, [M = Pd, Pt, (A-A) = pdta, X = I; M = Pt, (A-A) = pdpa, X = Br or I]. The [M2(A-A)2(NCS)2] (ClO4)2 · nCH2Cl2 complexes are novel in the sense that they contain bridging thiocyanate together with ionic perchlorate. The stereochemical assignments have been made on the basis of i.r. and u.v. spectra as well as conductance data.  相似文献

Novel copper(II) complexes, molecular [Cu66-Cl)(μ3-OH)2(μ-L)6Cl9(H2O)3] · 3H2O (1) and polymeric [Cu(μ-L)(μ-OH)(H2O)2]Cl (2) (L = 4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1,2,4-triazole), have been prepared and characterized by X-ray structural analysis. Compound 1 appears to be an unusual example of a chloride ion with six equal Cu–Cl distances of 2.8397(3) Å. It has also been characterized by X-ray powder diffraction and magnetic measurements. Both complexes have distorted octahedral configurations of copper ions; the coordination cores are CuN2Cl2O2 or CuN2Cl3O (1) and CuN2O4 (2).  相似文献

Summary Mixed ligand diglycinatocopper(II) complexes of the Cu(glygly)L·nH2O type, where glygly stands for [NH2-CH2 CONCH2CO2]2– and L for imidazole (n = 1.5), N-methylimidazole (n = 1), 2-methylimidazole (n = 2), 4-methylimidazole (n = 2), 4-phenylimidazole (n = 2), N-acetylhistamine (n = 2) and NH3 (n = 2), were prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, i.r., vis. and e.p.r. spectroscopic measurements. The molecular structure of [Cu(glygly)(achmH)]·2H2O (achmH = acetylhistamine) was determined using three dimensional XRD data. The structure consists of distorted square planar [Cu(glygly)-(achmH)] units interconnected via the peptide oxygen at the apex to complete a square pyramidal structure, Cu—O-(peptide) 2.477(2) Å. The H2O molecules, not binding directly to the copper ion, involve in intermolecular hydrogen bonding with the copper units. The dianionic glygly ligand and the imidazole ring bind strongly to the central copper ion with Cu—N(amino) 2.045(6) Å, Cu—N-(peptide) 1.891(5) Å, Cu—O(carboxylate) 2.001(4) Å and Cu—N(imidazole) 1.956(5) Å. The dihedral angle between the imidazole nucleus and the CuN3O xy plane is 6.0°. Similar structures with a CuN3O coordination plane are proposed for the imidazole complexes, based on spectroscopic data. The bonding properties of the glygly ligand and the unidentate imidazole ligands are elucidated and discussed with reference to the electronic structures of the complexes deduced from Gaussian analyses.  相似文献

New heteronuclear complexes containing oxorhenium(V), Cu(II), Ni(II), Fe(III), UO2(VI) and Th(IV) ions were prepared by the reaction of the complex ligand, [ReO(H4L)Cl]Cl2, where H4L = 8,17-dimethyl-6,15-dioxo-5,7,14,16-tetrahydrodibenzo[a,h][14]annulene-2,11-dicarboxylic acid, with the previous transition and actinide salts. Three heteronuclear Cu(II) complexes were isolated depending on the ratio of [ReO(H4L)Cl]Cl2?:?Cu(II) ion. When the ratios were 1?:?0.5, 1?:?1 and 1?:?2, the heteronuclear complexes {[ReO(H3L)Cl]2CuCl2(OH2)2}SO4 · H2O (I), [ReO(H3L)Cl2Cu(OH2)2(SO4)] (II) and {ReO(H2L)Cl[Cu(OH2)3 SO4]2} (III) were obtained, respectively. Heteronuclear complexes of the other metal cations were obtained by mixing [ReO(H4L)Cl]Cl2 with the metal salt in the ratio 1?:?1 to obtain the heteronuclear complexes [ReO(H3L)Cl2Ni(OH2)2](NO3)2 (IV), [ReO(H3L)Cl3Fe(OH2)3](NO3)2 (V), [ReO(H3L)ClUO2(NO3)2 (OH2)]Cl (VI) and [ReO(H3L)Cl3Th(NO3)2(OH2)]NO3 · 2H2O (VII). The complex ligand coordinates with the heterometal ion via the carboxylate group, and the infrared bands νas COO and νs COO indicate that the carboxylate acts as a unidentate ligand to the heterometal cations. Cu(II) and Fe(III) cations in the heteronuclear complexes have octahedral geometry, while Ni(II) is square planar. Thermal studies explored the possibility of obtaining new heteronuclear complexes pyrolytically in the solid state from the corresponding mother complexes. The structures of the complexes were elucidated by conductance, IR and electronic spectra, magnetic moments, 1H NMR and TG-DSC measurements as well as by mass spectroscopy.  相似文献

Summary Manganese(II) complexes of bis(2-benzimidazolylmethyl) ether (DGB), bis(2-benzimidazolylmethyl) sulphide (TGB) and the n-butyl derivative of DGB (BDGB) were prepared and characterised. The solution e.p.r. spectrum of [Mn(TGB)Cl2] in DMF at 143 K is commensurate with an axially distorted monomeric manganese(II) complex, room temperature magnetic moment (6.04 B.M.) per manganese(II) atom being in the range found for other d5 monomeric manganese(II) complexes. The solution e.p.r. spectrum of [Mn(BDGB)Cl2]-2H2O in DMF at 143 K indicates the presence of two equivalent manganese(II) ions coupled by an exchange interaction, fostered by bridging chlorides. Evidence for this is provided by a nearly isotropic 11 line hyperfine structure of 55Mn, with a coupling constant 45 ± 5G. Contact-shifted 1H n.m.r. data also supports an exchange coupled dimeric manganese complex. The room temperature magnetic moment, 5.64 B.M., per manganese(II) indicates quenching of the magnetic moment below that of monomeric manganese(II) ion. The [Mn(DGB)Cl2]·H2O complex exhibits a magnetic moment of 6.02 B.M. per manganese, indicating a monomeric manganese complex. E.p.r. data of the complex diluted in an analogous Zn-DGB complex (1∶20) correlates well for D = 0.22cm−1 and λ ∼- 0.267. The [Mn(DGB)-(C1O4)2] and [Mn(BDGB)(ClO4)2] complexes, diluted in analogous Zn-DGB and Zn-BDGB complexes (1∶20), show a strong single e.p.r. line at g eff ∼- 2. The complexes have low magnetic moments; 4.44 B.M./Mn and 4.39 B.M./Mn, at room temperature.  相似文献

Two Cu(II) complexes of (S)-2-[(N-benzylprolyl)amino]benzaldehyde oxime (L) were isolated. The complex Cu[(LH–1)(Cl)] is green, whereas Cu2(LH2)–2 is red-brown. The structure of these complexes was proved by elemental analysis, IR and UV spectroscopy. The average molecular masses ( ) of the complexes in ethanol were determined by precision ebulliometry. The concentration dependence of the values of these complexes is consistent with the existence of the following equilibria in ethanol: Cu[(LH–1)(Cl)] + EtOH Cu[(LH–1)(HOEt)]++Cl+ and [Cu2(LH–2)2] + EtOH 2[Cu(LH-–2)(HOEt)]. The equilibrium constants of these two reactions were determined. Both [Cu(LH–1)(Cl)] and [Cu2(LH–2)2] catalyze with equal efficiency the hydrolysis of 2-methyl-4-benzyl-5(4H)-oxazolone in aqueous solutions at a given pH. The UV spectra of both complexes in water at similar pH values are identical. Thus, both complexes must be interconvertible in aqueous solutions. Furthermore, the absence of any electrophoretically mobile particles in neutral aqueous buffers is an indication that the complexes [Cu2(LH–2)2] and [Cu(LH–2)(H2O)] are the predominant species in solution under these conditions.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 10, pp. 2270–2275, October, 1991.  相似文献

Summary The preparation and characterization of CuII, CoII, NiII and HgII complexes containing 1,4-diphenylthiosemicarbazide (DPhTSC) of the type [Cu(DPhTSC-H)X.H2O]nH2O (X= Cl, Br or Ac; n=0 or 1) · [M(DPhTSC-H)2yH2O] (M=CoII or NiII; y=0 or 1) and [Hg(DPhTSC)Cl2]2 H2O and [Cu(D-PhTSC)2SO4]H2O are reported. The stereochemistry of the complexes have been studied with the help of magnetic and electronic measurements. The anomalous magnetic moments observed in all cases have been explained. The i.r. spectral studies have been used to determine the bonding sites in the complexes.  相似文献

Synthesis and characterization of four new 2,6-dimethoxynicotinate (2,6-(MeO)2nic) copper(II) monomeric complexes [Cu(2,6-(MeO)2nic)2(py)2] (py is pyridine), [Cu{2,6-(MeO)2nic}2(Etnic)2(H2O)] (Etnic is ethylnicotinate), [Cu{2,6-(MeO)2nic}2(Et2nia)2(H2O)2] (Et2nia is N,N-diethylnicotinamide) as well as of the polymeric complex [Cu{2,6-(MeO)2nic}2(ron)2] n (ron is ronicol) are reported. The characterizations were based on elemental analysis, infrared, electronic and EPR spectra. Crystal structures of two of the complexes have been determined. The copper(II) of [Cu{2,6-(MeO)2nic}2(py)2] has a distorted tetragonal-bipyramidal (4 + 2) coordination environment. Both 2,6-(MeO)2nic anions are asymmetrically chelating. The Cu(II) of [Cu{2,6-(MeO)2nic}2(Etnic)2(H2O)] is pentacoordinate in a slightly distorted tetragonal-pyramidal arrangement by two trans nitrogens, each of one Etnic, by two oxygens, each of the carboxyl group of one unidentate 2,6-(MeO)2nic and the axial position occupied by water at a longer distance. Antimicrobial effects of the complexes have been tested on various strains of bacteria, yeasts and filamentous fungi. While the 2,6-(MeO)2nicH alone did not influence the model bacteria growth, dimeric [Cu{2,6-(MeO)2nic}2(H2O)]2 and polymeric [Cu{2,6-(MeO)2nic}2(ron)2] n have pronounced influence on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Candida parapsilosis.  相似文献

The synthetic compound Pb6Cu(AsO3)2Cl7 crystallizes in space group R witha 0=9.8614(4),c 0=17.089(2)Å,Z=3. The crystal structure, determined by single crystal X-ray work, is a typical layer structure. Complex Pb6(AsO3)2Cl6 layers are combined via monovalent Cu and Cl atoms. A novel element within the structure is a [Cl3Cu(I)-As(III)O3] group with the interatomic distances (Å): Cu-Cl=2.44 (3×), As-O=1.76 (3×), Cu-As=2.34 (1×).

Complexes of the type [M(painh)(H2O)2X], where M = Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II); X = Cl2 or SO4; painh = p-amino acetophenone isonicotinoyl hydrazone, have been synthesized and characterized by spectral and other physico-chemical techniques. The synthesized complexes are stable powders, insoluble in common organic solvents such as ethanol, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform and diethyl ether, and are non-electrolytes. Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) and Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) studies show that the organic ligand decomposes exothermically through various steps. TGA and Infrared (IR) spectral studies indicate the presence of coordinated water in the metal complexes. Magnetic susceptibility measurements and electronic spectra suggest that Mn(II), Co(II), and Ni(II) complexes are paramagnetic with octahedral geometry, whereas Cu(II) complexes have distorted octahedral geometry. The neutral bidentate ligand bonds through >C=O and >C=N–groups in all the complexes. Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) spectra in the solid state show axial symmetry for [Cu(painh)(H2O)2(SO4)] and elongated rhombic symmetry for [Cu(painh)(H2O)2Cl2], suggesting an elongated tetragonally-distorted octahedral structure for both complexes. X-ray powder diffraction parameters for two complexes correspond to tetragonal and orthorhombic crystal lattices. The metal complexes show fair antifungal activity against Rizoctonia sp., Aspergillus sp., Stemphylium sp., and Penicillium sp. and appreciable antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas sp. and Escherichia coli.  相似文献
