The neutral radical (Me2‐cAAC)2AlCl2 ( 2 ) is stabilized by cyclic (alkyl)(amino)carbenes (cAACs). Complex 2 was synthesized by reduction of the Me2‐cAAC:→AlCl3 ( 1 ) adduct with KC8 in the presence of another equivalent of Me2‐cAAC. The crystal structure of 2 shows that the Al−C bond lengths of the two carbenes bound to the Al center are considerably different, which is likely the result of intermolecular interactions. Quantum‐chemical calculations from the gas phase give an equilibrium structure with identical Al−C bond lengths. Compound 2 exhibits monoradical character, which was confirmed by EPR measurements. A bonding analysis indicates that the unpaired electron resides mainly at the carbene carbon atoms. Compound 2 is an example for an unusual neutral Al radical.  相似文献

The Me‐cAAC:‐stabilized dimer of silicon disulfide (SiS2) has been isolated in the molecular form as (Me‐cAAC:)2Si2S4 ( 2 ) at room temperature [Me‐cAAC:=cyclic alkyl(amino) carbene]. Compound 2 has been synthesized from the reaction of (Me‐cAAC:)2Si2 with elemental sulfur in a 1:4 molar ratio under oxidative addition. This is the smallest molecular unit of silicon disulfide characterized by X‐ray crystallography, electron ionization mass spectrometry, and NMR spectroscopy. Structures with three sulfur atoms arranged around a silicon atom are known; however, 2 is the first structurally characterized silicon–sulfur compound containing one terminal and two bridging sulfur atoms at each silicon atom. Compound 2 shows no decomposition after storing for three months in an inert atmosphere at ambient temperature. The bonding of 2 has been further studied by theoretical calculations.  相似文献

Reduction of the neutral carbene tetrachlorosilane adduct (cAAC)SiCl4 (cAAC=cyclic alkyl(amino) carbene :C(CMe2)2(CH2)N(2,6‐iPr2C6H3) with potassium graphite produces stable (cAAC)3Si3, a carbene‐stabilized triatomic silicon(0) molecule. The Si?Si bond lengths in (cAAC)3Si3 are 2.399(8), 2.369(8) and 2.398(8) Å, which are in the range of Si?Si single bonds. Each trigonal pyramidal silicon atom of the triangular molecule (cAAC)3Si3 possesses a lone pair of electrons. Its bonding, stability, and electron density distributions were studied by quantum chemical calculations.  相似文献

The trapping of a silicon(I) radical with N‐heterocyclic carbenes is described. The reaction of the cyclic (alkyl)(amino) carbene [cAACMe] (cAACMe=:C(CMe2)2(CH2)NAr, Ar=2,6‐i Pr2C6H3) with H2SiI2 in a 3:1 molar ratio in DME afforded a mixture of the separated ion pair [(cAACMe)2Si:.]+I ( 1 ), which features a cationic cAAC–silicon(I) radical, and [cAACMe−H]+I. In addition, the reaction of the NHC–iodosilicon(I) dimer [IAr(I)Si:]2 (IAr=:C{N(Ar)CH}2) with 4 equiv of IMe (:C{N(Me)CMe}2), which proceeded through the formation of a silicon(I) radical intermediate, afforded [(IMe)2SiH]+I ( 2 ) comprising the first NHC–parent‐silyliumylidene cation. Its further reaction with fluorobenzene afforded the CAr−H bond activation product [1‐F‐2‐IMe‐C6H4]+I ( 3 ). The isolation of 2 and 3 confirmed the reaction mechanism for the formation of 1 . Compounds 1 – 3 were analyzed by EPR and NMR spectroscopy, DFT calculations, and X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

The reactivity of N‐heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) and cyclic alkyl amino carbenes (cAACs) with arylboronate esters is reported. The reaction with NHCs leads to the reversible formation of thermally stable Lewis acid/base adducts Ar‐B(OR)2⋅NHC ( Add1 – Add6 ). Addition of cAACMe to the catecholboronate esters 4‐R‐C6H4‐Bcat (R=Me, OMe) also afforded the adducts 4‐R‐C6H4Bcat⋅cAACMe ( Add7 , R=Me and Add8 , R=OMe), which react further at room temperature to give the cAACMe ring‐expanded products RER1 and RER2 . The boronate esters Ar‐B(OR)2 of pinacol, neopentylglycol, and ethyleneglycol react with cAAC at RT via reversible B−C oxidative addition to the carbene carbon atom to afford cAACMe(B{OR}2)(Ar) ( BCA1 – BCA6 ). NMR studies of cAACMe(Bneop)(4‐Me‐C6H4) ( BCA4 ) demonstrate the reversible nature of this oxidative addition process.  相似文献

In catena‐poly[[dichloridocobalt(II)]‐μ‐(1,1′‐dimethyl‐4,4′‐bipyrazole‐κ2N2:N2′)], [CoCl2(C8H10N4)]n, (1), two independent bipyrazole ligands (Me2bpz) are situated across centres of inversion and in tetraaquabis(1,1′‐dimethyl‐4,4′‐bipyrazole‐κN2)cobalt(II) dichloride–1,1′‐dimethyl‐4,4′‐bipyrazole–water (1/2/2), [Co(C8H10N4)2(H2O)4]Cl2·2C8H10N4·2H2O, (2), the Co2+ cation lies on an inversion centre and two noncoordinated Me2bpz molecules are also situated across centres of inversion. The compounds are the first complexes involving N,N′‐disubstituted 4,4′‐bipyrazole tectons. They reveal a relatively poor coordination ability of the ligand, resulting in a Co–pyrazole coordination ratio of only 1:2. Compound (1) adopts a zigzag chain structure with bitopic Me2bpz links between tetrahedral CoII ions. Interchain interactions occur by means of very weak C—H...Cl hydrogen bonding. Complex (2) comprises discrete octahedral trans‐[Co(Me2bpz)2(H2O)4]2+ cations formed by monodentate Me2bpz ligands. Two equivalents of additional noncoordinated Me2bpz tectons are important as `second‐sphere ligands' connecting the cations by means of relatively strong O—H...N hydrogen bonding with generation of doubly interpenetrated pcu (α‐Po) frameworks. Noncoordinated chloride anions and solvent water molecules afford hydrogen‐bonded [(Cl)2(H2O)2] rhombs, which establish topological links between the above frameworks, producing a rare eight‐coordinated uninodal net of {424.5.63} ( ilc ) topology.  相似文献

Chalcogen-bonded silicon phosphinidenes LSi(E)−P−MecAAC (E=S ( 1 ); Se ( 2 ); Te ( 3 ); L=PhC(NtBu)2; MecAAC=C(CH2)(CMe2)2N-2,6-iPr2C6H3)) were synthesized from the reactions of silylene–phosphinidene LSi−P−MecAAC ( A ) with elemental chalcogens. All the compounds reported herein have been characterized by multinuclear NMR, elemental analyses, LIFDI-MS, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. Furthermore, the regeneration of silylene–phosphinidene ( A ) was achieved from the reactions of 2 – 3 with L′Al (L′=HC{(CMe)(2,6-iPr2C6H3N)}2). Theoretical studies on chalcogen-bonded silicon phosphinidenes indicate that the Si−E (E=S, Se, Te) bond can be best represented as charge-separated electron-sharing σ-bonding interaction between [LSi−P−MecAAC]+ and E. The partial double-bond character of Si−E is attributed to significant hyperconjugative donation from the lone pair on E to the Si−N and Si−P σ*-molecular orbitals.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the cobalt(II) carbonate‐based compound cobalt(II) dicarbonate trisodium chloride, Co(CO3)2Na3Cl, grown from a water–ethanol mixture, exhibits a three‐dimensional network of corner‐sharing {Co43‐CO3)4} tetrahedral building blocks, in which the CoII centres define a pyrochlore lattice and reside in a slightly distorted octahedral Co(O–CO2)6 environment. The space outside the hexagonal framework defined by these interlinked groups is occupied by Na+ and Cl ions. Antiferromagnetic coupling between adjacent CoII centres, mediated by carbonate bridges, results in geometric spin frustration which is typical for pyrochlore networks. The Co and Cl atoms reside on the special position , one Na atom on position 2 and a carbonate C atom on position 3.  相似文献

Synthesis of a Functional Aluminium Alkynide, Me3C‐C≡C‐AlBr2, and its Reactions with the Bulky Lithium Compound LiCH(SiMe3)2 Treatment of aluminium tribromide with the lithium alkynide (Li)C≡C‐CMe3 afforded the aluminium alkynide Me3C‐C≡C‐AlBr2 ( 1 ) in an almost quantitative yield. 1 crystallizes with trimeric formula units possessing Al3C3 heterocycles and the anionic carbon atoms of the alkynido groups in the bridging positions. A dynamic equilibrium was determined in solution which probably comprises trimeric and dimeric formula units. Reaction of 1 with one equivalent of LiCH(SiMe3)2 yielded the compound [Me3C‐C≡C‐Al(Br)‐CH(SiMe3)2]2 ( 2 ), which is a dimer via Al‐C‐Al bridges. Two equivalents of the lithium compound gave a mixture of four main‐products, which could be identified as 2 , Li[Me3C‐C≡C‐Al{CH(SiMe3)2}3] ( 3 ), Me3C‐C≡C‐Al[CH(SiMe3)2]2 ( 4 ), and Al[CH(SiMe3)2]3. The lithium atom of 3 is coordinated by the C≡C triple bond and an inner carbon atom of one bis(trimethylsilyl)methyl group. Further interactions were observed to C‐H bonds of methyl groups.  相似文献

CoII‐substituted α‐Keggin‐type 12‐tungstenphosphate [(n‐ C4H9)4N]4H[PW11Co(H2O)O39]‐ (PW11Co) is synthesized and used as a single‐component, solvent‐free catalyst in the cycloaddition reaction of CO2 and epoxides to form cyclic carbonates. The mechanism of the cycloaddition reaction is investigated using DFT calculations, which provides the first computational study of the catalytic cycle of polyoxometalate‐catalyzed CO2 coupling reactions. The reaction occurs through a single‐electron transfer from the doublet CoII catalyst to the epoxide and forms a doublet CoIII–carbon radical intermediate. Subsequent CO2 addition forms the cyclic carbonate product. The existence of radical intermediates is supported by free‐radical termination experiments. Finally, it is exhilarating to observe that the calculated overall reaction barrier (30.5 kcal mol?1) is in good agreement with the real reaction rate (83 h?1) determined in the present experiments (at 150 °C).  相似文献

The crystal structure of the title compound, [CoCl2(C6H12N2S)2], consists of monomer units of a CoII atom coordinated to two 1‐propylimidazolidine‐2‐thione ligands and to two chloride ions. The heterocyclic thione ligand is monodentate and coordinated to the metal through the thione S atom. The environment around the CoII atom is a slightly distorted tetrahedron. The Co—S bond lengths are 2.341 (2) and 2.330 (2) Å, and the Co—Cl bond lengths are 2.234 (2) and 2.238 (2) Å. The most important point of distortion is the S—Co—S bond angle of only 97.83 (8)°. Intramolecular classical hydrogen bonds are found between the chloride ions and the N—H groups. Additionally, intra‐ and intermolecular non‐classical hydrogen bonds are found.  相似文献

We report the reactions of catecholborane (HBcat; 1 ) with unsaturated and saturated NHCs as well as CAACMe. Mono‐NHC adducts of the type HBcat?NHC (NHC=nPr2Im, iPr2Im, iPr2ImMe, and Dipp2Im) were obtained by stoichiometric reactions of HBcat with the unsaturated NHCs. The reaction of CAACMe with HBcat yielded the B?H activated product CAACMe(H)Bcat via insertion of the carbine‐carbon atom into the B?H bond. The saturated NHC Dipp2SIm reacted in a 2:2 ratio yielding an NHC ring‐expanded product at room temperature forming a six‐membered ?B?C=N?C=C?N? ring via C?N bond cleavage and further migration of the hydrides from two HBcat molecules to the former carbene‐carbon atom.  相似文献

The cyclic alkyl(amino) carbene‐anchored silylene–phosphinidene was isolated as L−Si−P(:cAAC−Me) (L=benzamidinate) at room temperature, synthesized from the reduction of L−Si(Cl2)−P(:cAAC−Me) ( 1 ) using two equivalents of KC8. Compound 1 was prepared by the oxidative addition of a chlorophosphinidene to the benzamidinate substituted silylene center. This is the first molecular example of a silylene–phosphinidene characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray structural analysis. Moreover, 1H, 31P, and also 29Si NMR spectroscopic data supported the formulation of the products. The theoretical calculations of compound 2 are in good agreement with the experimental results.  相似文献

An elegant general synthesis route for the preparation of two coordinate palladium(0) and platinum(0) complexes was developed by reacting commercially available tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium/platinum with π‐accepting cyclic alkyl(amino) carbenes (cAACs). The complexes are characterized by NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The palladium complexes exhibit sharp color changes (crystallochromism) from dark maroon to bright green if the C‐Pd‐C bond angle is sharpened by approximately 6°, which is chemically feasible by elimination of one lattice THF solvent molecule. The analogous dark orange‐colored platinum complexes are more rigid and thus do not show this phenomenon. Additionally, [(cAAC)2Pd/Pt] complexes can be quasi‐reversibly oxidized to their corresponding [(cAAC)2Pd/Pt]+ cations, as evidenced by cyclic voltammetry measurements. The bonding and stability are studied by theoretical calculations.  相似文献

The Hydroalumination of 1,1,4,4‐Tetramethyl‐2,3‐diazabutadiene by Dialkylaluminium Hydrides – Synthesis of Dialkylaluminium Hydrazonides 1,1,4,4‐Tetramethyl‐2,3‐diazabutadiene reacted with dimethylaluminium hydride by hydroalumination of only one C=N double bond. The hydrazone derivative [Me2Al–N(CHMe2)–N=CMe2]2 ( 1 ) was formed which gave a dimer possessing a six‐membered Al2N4 heterocycle. The hydroalumination of both C=N double bonds was not observed. Also an excess of di(tert‐butyl)‐ or bis(trimethylsilylmethyl)aluminium hydride afforded only the product of a single hydroalumination step, a second dialkylaluminium hydride molecule was attached via a coordinative interaction between its central aluminium atom and the nitrogen atom of the C=N double bond and in addition via a 3 c‐2 e Al–H–Al bond. Compounds [(Me3C)2Al][(Me3C)2AlH]N(CHMe2)NCMe2 ( 2 ) and [(Me3SiCH2)2Al][(Me3SiCH2)2AlH]N(CHMe2)NCMe2 ( 3 ) were formed which have five‐membered Al2N2H heterocycles. Thermolysis of 2 gave by C–H activation compound [(Me3C)2Al]2[CH2C(Me)=N–]2 ( 4 ) in trace amounts which possesses two anellated AlN2C2 rings with a common N–N bond. In contrast, the thermal decomposition of 3 yielded by the cleavage of the N–N bond a dimeric dialkylaluminium methylideneamide ( 5 ) which has two intact C=N double bonds. Up to now our attempts to insert a C=N double bond into an Al–C bond remained unsuccessful, and only the formation of an adduct [(Me3C)3Al(–N=CMe2)2] ( 6 ) was observed upon treatment of tri(tert‐butyl)aluminium with the diazabutadiene derivative.  相似文献

The direct and controlled activation of a C(sp3)?H bond adjacent to an O atom is of particular synthetic value for the conventional derivatization of ethers or alcohols. In general, stoichiometric amounts of an oxidant are required to remove an electron and a hydrogen atom of the ether for subsequent transformations. Herein, we demonstrate that the activation of a C?H bond next to an O atom could be achieved under oxidant‐free conditions through photoredox‐neutral catalysis. By using a commercial dyad photosensitizer (Acr+‐Mes ClO4?, 9‐mesityl‐10‐methylacridinium perchlorate) and an easily available cobaloxime complex (Co(dmgBF2)2?2 MeCN, dmg=dimethylglyoxime), the nucleophilic addition of β‐keto esters to oxonium species, which is rarely observed in photocatalysis, leads to the corresponding coupling products and H2 in moderate to good yields under visible‐light irradiation. Mechanistic studies suggest that both isochroman and the cobaloxime complex quench the electron‐transfer state of this dyad photosensitizer and that benzylic C?H bond cleavage is probably the rate‐determining step of this cross‐coupling hydrogen‐evolution transformation.  相似文献

The reactions of [Co2(CO)8] with one equiv of the benzamidinate (R2bzam) group‐14 tetrylenes [M(R2bzam)(HMDS)] (HMDS=N(SiMe3)2; 1 : M=Ge, R=iPr; 2 : M=Si, R=tBu; 3 : M=Ge, R=tBu) at 20 °C led to the monosubstituted complexes [Co21M?M(R2bzam)(HMDS)}(CO)7] ( 4 : M=Ge, R=iPr; 5 : M=Si, R=tBu; 6 : M=Ge, R=tBu), which contain a terminal κ1M–tetrylene ligand. Whereas the Co2Si and Co2Ge tert‐butyl derivatives 5 and 6 are stable at 20 °C, the Co2Ge isopropyl derivative 4 evolved to the ligand‐bridged derivative [Co2{μ‐κ2Ge,N‐Ge(iPr2bzam)(HMDS)}(μ‐CO)(CO)5] ( 7 ), in which the Ge atom spans the Co?Co bond and one arm of the amidinate fragment is attached to a Co atom. The mechanism of this reaction has been modeled with the help of DFT calculations, which have also demonstrated that the transformation of amidinate‐tetrylene ligands on the dicobalt framework is negligibly influenced by the nature of the group‐14 metal atom (Si or Ge) but is strongly dependent upon the volume of the amidinate N?R groups. The disubstituted derivatives [Co21M?M(R2bzam)(HMDS)}2(CO)6] ( 8 : M=Ge, R=iPr; 9 : M=Si, R=tBu; 10 : M=Ge, R=tBu), which contain two terminal κ1M–tetrylene ligands, have been prepared by treating [Co2(CO)8] with two equiv of 1 – 3 at 20 °C. The IR spectra of 8 – 10 have shown that the basicity of germylenes 1 and 3 is very high (comparable to that of trialkylphosphanes and 1,3‐diarylimidazol‐2‐ylidenes), whereas that of silylene 2 is even higher.  相似文献

A borane B(C6F5)3‐catalyzed metathesis reaction between the Si?C bond in the cyclic (alkyl)(amino)germylene (CAAGe) 1 and the Si?H bond in a silane (R3SiH; 2 ) is reported. Mechanistic studies propose that the initial step of the reaction involves Si?H bond activation to furnish an ionic species [ 1 ‐SiR3]+[HB(C6F5)3]?, from which [Me3Si]+[HB(C6F5)3]? and an azagermole intermediate are generated. The former yields Me3SiH concomitant with the regeneration of B(C6F5)3 whereas the latter undergoes isomerization to afford CAAGes bearing various silyl groups on the carbon atom next to the germylene center. This strategy allows the straightforward synthesis of eight new CAAGes starting from 1 .  相似文献

The elusive phosphinidene-chlorotetrylenes, [PGeCl] and [PSiCl] have been stabilized by the hetero-bileptic cyclic alkyl(amino) carbene (cAAC), N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands, and isolated in the solid state at room temperature as the first neutral monomeric species of this class with the general formulae (L)P-ECl(L′) (E=Ge, 3 a – 3 c ; E=Si, 6 ; L=cAAC; L′=NHC). Compounds 3 a – 3 c have been synthesized by the reaction of cAAC-supported potassium phosphinidenides [cAAC=PK(THF)x]n ( 1 a – 1 c ) with the adduct NHC:→GeCl2 ( 2 ). Similarly, compound 6 has been synthesized via reaction of 1 a with NHC:→SiCl2 adduct ( 4 ). Compounds 3 a – 3 c , and 6 have been structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometric analysis. DFT calculations revealed that the heteroatom P in 3 bears two lone pairs; the non-bonding pair with 67.8 % of s- and 32 % of p character, whereas the other lone pair is involved in π backdonation to the CcAAC-N π* of cAAC. The Ge atom in 3 contains a lone pair with 80 % of s character, and slightly involved in the π backdonation to CNHC. EDA-NOCV analyses showed that two charged doublet fragments {(cAAC)(NHC)}+, and {PGeCl} prefer to form one covalent electron-sharing σ bond, one dative σ bond, one dative π bond, and a charge polarized weak π bond. The covalent electron-sharing σ bond contributes to the major stabilization energy to the total orbital interaction energy of 3 , enabling the first successful isolations of this class of compounds ( 3 , 6 ) in the laboratory.  相似文献
