CsPbBr3 nanocrystals (NCs) encapsulated in a transparent polystyrene (PS) fiber matrix (CsPbBr3@PS) have been synthesized to protect the NCs. The ultrafast charge delocalization dynamics of the embedded NCs have been demonstrated, and the results are compared with the pristine CsPbBr3 in toluene. The electrospinning method was employed for the preparation of CsPbBr3@PS fibers by using a polystyrene solution doped with pre-synthesized CsPbBr3 and characterized by XRD, HRTEM, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Energy level diagrams of CsPbBr3 and PS suggest that CsPbBr3@PS fibers make a type I core–shell structure. The carrier cooling for CsPbBr3@PS fibers is found to be much slower than pure CsPbBr3 NCs. This observation suggests that photoexcited electrons from CsPbBr3 NCs get delocalized from the conduction band of the perovskite to lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) of the PS fiber matrix. The CsPbBr3@PS fibers possess remarkable stability under ambient conditions as well as in water over months. The clear understanding of charge carrier relaxation dynamics of CsPbBr3 confined in PS fibers could help to design robust optoelectronic devices.  相似文献

We describe the simple, scalable, single‐step, and polar‐solvent‐free synthesis of high‐quality colloidal CsPbX3 (X=Cl, Br, and I) perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) with tunable halide ion composition and thickness by direct ultrasonication of the corresponding precursor solutions in the presence of organic capping molecules. High angle annular dark field scanning transmission electron microscopy (HAADF‐STEM) revealed the cubic crystal structure and surface termination of the NCs with atomic resolution. The NCs exhibit high photoluminescence quantum yields, narrow emission line widths, and considerable air stability. Furthermore, we investigated the quantum size effects in CsPbBr3 and CsPbI3 nanoplatelets by tuning their thickness down to only three to six monolayers. The high quality of the prepared NCs (CsPbBr3) was confirmed by amplified spontaneous emission with low thresholds. The versatility of this synthesis approach was demonstrated by synthesizing different perovskite NCs.  相似文献

Lead‐free perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) were obtained mainly by substituting a Pb2+ cation with a divalent cation or substituting three Pb2+ cations with two trivalent cations. The substitution of two Pb2+ cations with one monovalent Ag+ and one trivalent Bi3+ cations was used to synthesize Cs2AgBiX6 (X=Cl, Br, I) double perovskite NCs. Using femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy, the charge carrier relaxation mechanism was elucidated in the double perovskite NCs. The Cs2AgBiBr6 NCs exhibit ultrafast hot‐carrier cooling (<1 ps), which competes with the carrier trapping processes (mainly originate from the surface defects). Notably, the photoluminescence can be increased by 100 times with surfactant (oleic acid) added to passivate the defects in Cs2AgBiCl6 NCs. These results suggest that the double perovskite NCs could be potential materials for optoelectronic applications by better controlling the surface defects.  相似文献

Traditional CdSe‐based colloidal quantum dots (cQDs) have interesting photoluminescence (PL) properties. Herein we highlight the advantages in both ensemble and single‐nanocrystal PL of colloidal CsPbBr3 nanocrystals (NCs) over the traditional cQDs. An ensemble of colloidal CsPbBr3 NCs (11 nm) exhibits ca. 90 % PL quantum yield with narrow (FWHM=86 meV) spectral width. Interestingly, the spectral width of a single‐NC and an ensemble are almost identical, ruling out the problem of size‐distribution in PL broadening. Eliminating this problem leads to a negligible influence of self‐absorption and Förster resonance energy transfer, along with batch‐to‐batch reproducibility of NCs exhibiting PL peaks within ±1 nm. Also, PL peak positions do not alter with measurement temperature in the range of 25 to 100 °C. Importantly, CsPbBr3 NCs exhibit suppressed PL blinking with ca. 90 % of the individual NCs remain mostly emissive (on‐time >85 %), without much influence of excitation power.  相似文献

A series of lead‐free double perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) Cs2AgSb1?yBiyX6 (X: Br, Cl; 0≤y≤1) is synthesized. In particular, the Cs2AgSbBr6 NCs is a new double perovskite material that has not been reported for the bulk form. Mixed Ag–Sb/Bi NCs exhibit enhanced stability in colloidal solution compared to Ag–Bi or Ag–Sb NCs. Femtosecond transient absorption studies indicate the presence of two prominent fast trapping processes in the charge‐carrier relaxation. The two fast trapping processes are dominated by intrinsic self‐trapping (ca. 1–2 ps) arising from giant exciton–phonon coupling and surface‐defect trapping (ca. 50–100 ps). Slow hot‐carrier relaxation is observed at high pump fluence, and the possible mechanisms for the slow hot‐carrier relaxation are also discussed.  相似文献

Perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) have revolutionized optoelectronic devices because of their versatile optical properties. However, controlling and extending these functionalities often requires a light‐management strategy involving additional processing steps. Herein, we introduce a simple approach to shape perovskite nanocrystals (NC) into photonic architectures that provide light management by directly shaping the active material. Pre‐patterned polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) templates are used for the template‐induced self‐assembly of 10 nm CsPbBr3 perovskite NC colloids into large area (1 cm2) 2D photonic crystals with tunable lattice spacing, ranging from 400 nm up to several microns. The photonic crystal arrangement facilitates efficient light coupling to the nanocrystal layer, thereby increasing the electric field intensity within the perovskite film. As a result, CsPbBr3 2D photonic crystals show amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) under lower optical excitation fluences in the near‐IR, in contrast to equivalent flat NC films prepared using the same colloidal ink. This improvement is attributed to the enhanced multi‐photon absorption caused by light trapping in the photonic crystal.  相似文献

Hot carrier (HC) cooling accounts for the significant energy loss in lead halide perovskite (LHP) solar cells. Here, we study HC relaxation dynamics in Mn-doped LHP CsPbI3 nanocrystals (NCs), combining transient absorption spectroscopy and density functional theory (DFT) calculations. We demonstrate that Mn2+ doping (1) enlarges the longitudinal optical (LO)–acoustic phonon bandgap, (2) enhances the electron–LO phonon coupling strength, and (3) adds HC relaxation pathways via Mn orbitals within the bands. The spectroscopic study shows that the HC cooling process is decelerated after doping under band-edge excitation due to the dominant phonon bandgap enlargement. When the excitation photon energy is larger than the optical bandgap and the Mn2+ transition gap, the doping accelerates the cooling rate owing to the dominant effect of enhanced carrier–phonon coupling and relaxation pathways. We demonstrate that such a phenomenon is optimal for the application of hot carrier solar cells. The enhanced electron–LO phonon coupling and accelerated cooling of high-temperature hot carriers efficiently establish a high-temperature thermal quasi-equilibrium where the excessive energy of the hot carriers is transferred to heat the cold carriers. On the other hand, the enlarged phononic band-gap prevents further cooling of such a quasi-equilibrium, which facilitates the energy conversion process. Our results manifest a straightforward methodology to optimize the HC dynamics for hot carrier solar cells by element doping.

Mn doping modulates the hot carrier dynamics in all-inorganic lead halide perovskite nanocrystals according to the excitation energy.  相似文献

Resurfacing perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) with tight-binding and conductive ligands to resolve the dynamic ligands—surface interaction is the fundamental issue for their applications in perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs). Although various types of surface ligands have been proposed, these ligands either exhibit weak Lewis acid/base interactions or need high polar solvents for dissolution and passivation, resulting in a compromise in the efficiency and stability of PeLEDs. Herein, we report a chemically reactive agent (Iodotrimethylsilane, TMIS) to address the trade-off among conductivity, solubility and passivation using all-inorganic CsPbI3 NCs. The liquid TMIS ensures good solubility in non-polar solvents and reacts with oleate ligands and produces in situ HI for surface etching and passivation, enabling strong-binding ligands on the NCs surface. We report, as a result, red PeLEDs with an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of ≈23 %, which is 11.2-fold higher than the control, and is among the highest CsPbI3 PeLEDs. We further demonstrate the universality of this ligand strategy in the pure bromide system (CsPbBr3), and report EQE of ≈20 % at 640, 652, and 664 nm. This represents the first demonstration of a chemically reactive ligand strategy that applies to different systems and works effectively in red PeLEDs spanning emission from pure-red to deep-red.  相似文献

Lead‐free halide perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) have drawn wide attention for solving the problem of lead perovskites toxicity and instability. Herein, we synthesize the direct band gap double perovskites undoped and Ag‐doped Cs2NaInCl6 NCs by variable temperature hot injection. The Cs2NaInCl6 NCs have little photoluminescence because of dark self‐trapped excitons (STEs). The dark STEs can be converted into bright STEs by doping with Ag+ to produce a bright yellow emission, with the highest photoluminescence quantum efficiency of 31.1 %. The dark STEs has been directly detected experimentally by ultrafast transient absorption (TA) techniques. The dynamics mechanism is further studied. In addition, the Ag‐doped NCs show better stability than the undoped ones. This result provides a new way to enhance the optical properties of lead‐free perovskites NCs for high‐performance light emitters.  相似文献

Cesium lead halide perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) CsPbX3 (X=Cl, Br, and I) have been prominent materials in the last few years due to their high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) for light-emitting diodes and other significant applications in photovoltaics and optoelectronics. In colloidal CsPbX3 synthesis, the most commonly used ligands are oleic acid and oleylamine. The latter plays an important role in surface passivation but may also be responsible for poor colloidal stability as a result of facile proton exchange leading to the formation of labile oleylammonium halide, which pulls halide ions out of the NC surface. Herein, a facile, efficient, completely amine-free synthesis of cesium lead bromide perovskite nanocrystals using hydrobromic acid as halide source and tri-n-octylphosphane as ligand under open-atmospheric conditions is demonstrated. Hydrobromic acid serves as labile source of bromide ion, and thus this three-precursor approach (separate precursors for Cs, Pb, Br) gives more control than a conventional single-source precursor for Pb and Br (PbBr2). The use of HBr paved the way to eliminate oleylamine, and thus the formation of labile oleylammonium halide can be completely excluded. Various Cs:Pb:Br molar ratios were studied and optimum conditions for making very stable CsPbBr3 NCs with high PLQY were found. These completely amine-free CsPbBr3 perovskite NCs synthesized under bromine-rich conditions exhibit good stability and durability for more than three months in the form of colloidal solutions and films, respectively. Furthermore, stable tunable emission across a wide spectral range through anion exchange was demonstrated. More importantly, this work reports open-atmosphere-stable CsPbBr3 NCs films exhibiting strong PL, which can be further used for optoelectronic device applications.  相似文献

The excitonic relaxation dynamics of perovskite adsorbed on mesoporous thin films of Al2O3 and NiO upon excitation at 450 nm were investigated with femtosecond optical gating of photoluminescence (PL) via up‐conversion. The temporal profiles of emission observed in spectral region 670–810 nm were described satisfactorily with a composite consecutive kinetic model and three transient components representing one hot and two cold excitonic relaxations. All observed relaxation dynamics depend on the emission wavelength, showing a systematic time–amplitude correlation for all three components. When the NiO film was employed, we observed an extent of relaxation proceeding through the non‐emissive surface state larger than through the direct electronic relaxation channel, which quenches the PL intensity more effectively than on the Al2O3 film. We conclude that perovskite is an effective hole carrier in a p‐type electrode for NiO‐based perovskite solar cells showing great performance.  相似文献

Encapsulation methods have shown to be effective in imparting improved stability to metal-halide perovskite nanocrystals (NCs). Atomic layer deposition (ALD) of metal oxides is one of the promising approaches for such encapsulation, yet better control on the process parameters are required to achieve viable lifetimes for several optoelectronic and photocatalytic applications. Herein, we optimize the ALD process of amorphous aluminum oxide (AlOx) as an encapsulating layer for CsPbBr3 NC thin films by using oxygen (O2) as a molecular diffusion probe to assess the uniformity of the deposited AlOx layer. When O2 reaches the NC surface, it extracts the photogenerated electrons, thus quenching the PL of the CsPbBr3 NCs. As the quality of the ALD layer improves, less quenching is expected. We compare three different ALD deposition modes. We find that the low temperature/high temperature and the exposure modes improve the quality of the alumina as a gas barrier when compared with the low temperature mode. We attribute this result to a better diffusion of the ALD precursor throughout the NC film. We propose the low temperature/high temperature as the most suitable mode for future implementation of multilayered coatings.  相似文献

Capping ligands are indispensable for the preparation of metal-halide-perovskite (MHP) nanocrystals (NCs) with good stability; however, the long alkyl-chain capping ligands in conventional MHP NCs will be unfavorable for CO2 adsorption and hinder the efficient carrier separation on the surface of MHP NCs, leading to inferior catalytic activity in artificial photosynthesis. Herein, CsPbBr3 nanocrystals with short-chain glycine as ligand are constructed through a facile ligand-exchange strategy. Owing to the reduced hindrance of glycine and the presence of the amine group in glycine, the photogenerated carrier separation and CO2 uptake capacity are noticeably improved without compromising the stability of the MHP NCs. The CsPbBr3 nanocrystals with glycine ligands exhibit a significantly increased yield of 27.7 μmol g−1 h−1 for photocatalytic CO2-to-CO conversion without any organic sacrificial reagents, which is over five times higher than that of control CsPbBr3 NCs with conventional long alkyl-chain capping ligands.  相似文献

Hydrochromic materials that can reversibly change color upon water treatment have attracted much attention owing to their potential applications in diverse fields. Herein, for the first time, we report that space‐confined CsPbBr3 nanocrystals (NCs) are hydrochromic. When CsPbBr3 NCs are loaded into a porous matrix, reversible transition between luminescent CsPbBr3 and non‐luminescent CsPb2Br5 can be achieved upon the exposure/removal of water. The potential applications of hydrochromic CsPbBr3 NCs in anti‐counterfeiting are demonstrated by using CsPbBr3 NCs@mesoporous silica nanospheres (around 100 nm) as the starting material. Owing to the small particle size and negatively charged surface, the as‐prepared particles can be laser‐jet printed with high precision and high speed. We demonstrate the excellent stability over repeated transformation cycles without color fade. This new discovery may not only deepen the understanding of CsPbX3, but also open a new way to design CsPbX3 materials for new applications.  相似文献

The all‐inorganic CsPbBr3 perovskite solar cell (PSC) is a promising solution to balance the high efficiency and poor stability of state‐of‐the‐art organic–inorganic PSCs. Setting inorganic hole‐transporting layers at the perovskite/electrode interface decreases charge carrier recombination without sacrificing superiority in air. Now, M‐substituted, p‐type inorganic Cu(Cr,M)O2 (M=Ba2+, Ca2+, or Ni2+) nanocrystals with enhanced hole‐transporting characteristics by increasing interstitial oxygen effectively extract holes from perovskite. The all‐inorganic CsPbBr3 PSC with a device structure of FTO/c‐TiO2/m‐TiO2/CsPbBr3/Cu(Cr,M)O2/carbon achieves an efficiency up to 10.18 % and it increases to 10.79 % by doping Sm3+ ions into perovskite halide, which is much higher than 7.39 % for the hole‐free device. The unencapsulated Cu(Cr,Ba)O2‐based PSC presents a remarkable stability in air in either 80 % humidity over 60 days or 80 °C conditions over 40 days or light illumination for 7 days.  相似文献

Inorganic cesium lead halide perovskites, as alternative light absorbers for organic–inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cells, have attracted more and more attention due to their superb thermal stability for photovoltaic applications. However, the humid air instability of CsPbI2Br perovskite solar cells (PSCs) hinders their further development. The optoelectronic properties of CsPbI2Br films are closely related to the quality of films, so preparing high-quality perovskite films is crucial for fabricating high-performance PSCs. For the first time, we demonstrate that the regulation of ambient temperature of the dry air in the glovebox is able to control the growth of CsPbI2Br crystals and further optimize the morphology of CsPbI2Br film. Through controlling the ambient air temperature assisted crystallization, high-quality CsPbI2Br films are obtained, with advantages such as larger crystalline grains, negligible crystal boundaries, absence of pinholes, lower defect density, and faster carrier mobility. Accordingly, the PSCs based on as-prepared CsPbI2Br film achieve a power conversion efficiency of 15.5% (the maximum stabilized power output of 15.02%). Moreover, the optimized CsPbI2Br films show excellent robustness against moisture and oxygen and maintain the photovoltaic dark phase after 3 h aging in an air atmosphere at room temperature and 35% relative humidity (R.H.). In comparison, the pristine films are completely converted to the yellow phase in 1.5 h.  相似文献

The controllable growth of CsPbI3 perovskite thin films with desired crystal phase and morphology is crucial for the development of high efficiency inorganic perovskite solar cells (PSCs). The role of dimethylammonium iodide (DMAI) used in CsPbI3 perovskite fabrication was carefully investigated. We demonstrated that the DMAI is an effective volatile additive to manipulate the crystallization process of CsPbI3 inorganic perovskite films with different crystal phases and morphologies. The thermogravimetric analysis results indicated that the sublimation of DMAI is sensitive to moisture, and a proper atmosphere is helpful for the DMAI removal. The time‐of‐flight secondary ion mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance results confirmed that the DMAI additive would not alloy into the crystal lattice of CsPbI3 perovskite. Moreover, the DMAI residues in CsPbI3 perovskite can deteriorate the photovoltaic performance and stability. Finally, the PSCs based on phenyltrimethylammonium chloride passivated CsPbI3 inorganic perovskite achieved a record champion efficiency up to 19.03 %.  相似文献

A dual emission sensing film has been prepared for colorimetric temperature sensing using CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals (CsPbBr3 NCs) and manganese doped potassium fluorosilicate (K2SiF6:Mn4+, KSF) encapsulated in polystyrene by a microencapsulation strategy. The CsPbBr3-KSF-PS film shows good temperature sensing response from 30 °C to 70 °C, with a relative temperature sensitivity (Sr) up to 10.31% °C?1 at 45 °C. Meanwhile, the film maintains more than 95% intensity after 6 heating-cooling cycles and keeps its fluorescence characteristics after 3 months. The film can be used to monitor temperature change by naked eye under a UV lamp. In particular, the temperature discoloration point of the sensing film can be controlled by the ratio change of CsPbBr3:KSF to expand its applications. The study of the CsPbBr3-KSF-PS sensing mechanism in this work is helpful to provide effective strategies for the design of reliable, high sensitivity and stable temperature sensing system using CsPbBr3 NCs.  相似文献
