Let Σ be a non compact Riemann surface and ${\gamma :\Sigma \longrightarrow \Sigma}$ an automorphism acting freely and properly such that the quotient M = Σ/γ is a non compact Riemann surface. Using the fact that Σ and M are Stein manifolds, we prove that, for any holomorphic function ${g : \Sigma \longrightarrow {\mathbb C}}$ and any ${\lambda \in {\mathbb C}}$ , there exists a holomorphic function ${f:\Sigma \longrightarrow {\mathbb C}}$ which is a solution of the holomorphic cohomological equation ${f \circ \gamma - \lambda f = g}$ .  相似文献

We prove a new local inequality for divisors on surfaces and utilize it to compute α-invariants of singular del Pezzo surfaces, which implies that del Pezzo surfaces of degree one whose singular points are of type $\mathbb{A}_{1}$ , $\mathbb{A}_{2}$ , $\mathbb{A}_{3}$ , $\mathbb{A}_{4}$ , $\mathbb{A}_{5}$ , or $\mathbb{A}_{6}$ are Kähler-Einstein.  相似文献

A Gizatullin surface is a normal affine surface V over $ \mathbb{C} $ , which can be completed by a zigzag; that is, by a linear chain of smooth rational curves. In this paper we deal with the question of uniqueness of $ \mathbb{C}^{ * } $ -actions and $ \mathbb{A}^{{\text{1}}} $ -fibrations on such a surface V up to automorphisms. The latter fibrations are in one to one correspondence with $ \mathbb{C}_{{\text{ + }}} $ -actions on V considered up to a “speed change”. Non-Gizatullin surfaces are known to admit at most one $ \mathbb{A}^{1} $ -fibration VS up to an isomorphism of the base S. Moreover, an effective $ \mathbb{C}^{ * } $ -action on them, if it does exist, is unique up to conjugation and inversion t $ \mapsto $ t ?1 of $ \mathbb{C}^{ * } $ . Obviously, uniqueness of $ \mathbb{C}^{ * } $ -actions fails for affine toric surfaces. There is a further interesting family of nontoric Gizatullin surfaces, called the Danilov-Gizatullin surfaces, where there are in general several conjugacy classes of $ \mathbb{C}^{ * } $ -actions and $ \mathbb{A}^{{\text{1}}} $ -fibrations, see, e.g., [FKZ1]. In the present paper we obtain a criterion as to when $ \mathbb{A}^{{\text{1}}} $ -fibrations of Gizatullin surfaces are conjugate up to an automorphism of V and the base $ S \cong \mathbb{A}^{{\text{1}}} $ . We exhibit as well large subclasses of Gizatullin $ \mathbb{C}^{ * } $ -surfaces for which a $ \mathbb{C}^{ * } $ -action is essentially unique and for which there are at most two conjugacy classes of $ \mathbb{A}^{{\text{1}}} $ -fibrations over $ \mathbb{A}^{{\text{1}}} $ .  相似文献

We prove a global implicit function theorem. In particular we show that any Lipschitz map ${f : \mathbb{R}^{n} \times \mathbb{R}^{m} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{n}}$ (with n-dim. image) can be precomposed with a bi-Lipschitz map ${\bar{g} : \mathbb{R}^{n} \times \mathbb{R}^{m} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{n} \times \mathbb{R}^{m}}$ such that ${f \circ \bar{g}}$ will satisfy, when we restrict to a large portion of the domain ${E \subset \mathbb{R}^{n} \times \mathbb{R}^{m}}$ , that ${f \circ \bar{g}}$ is bi-Lipschitz in the first coordinate, and constant in the second coordinate. Geometrically speaking, the map ${\bar{g}}$ distorts ${\mathbb{R}^{n+m}}$ in a controlled manner so that the fibers of f are straightened out. Furthermore, our results stay valid when the target space is replaced by any metric space. A main point is that our results are quantitative: the size of the set E on which behavior is good is a significant part of the discussion. Our estimates are motivated by examples such as Kaufman’s 1979 construction of a C 1 map from [0, 1]3 onto [0, 1]2 with rank ≤ 1 everywhere. On route we prove an extension theorem which is of independent interest. We show that for any Dn, any Lipschitz function ${f : [0,1]^{n} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{D}}$ gives rise to a large (in an appropriate sense) subset ${E \subset [0,1]^{n}}$ such that ${f|_E}$ is bi-Lipschitz and may be extended to a bi-Lipschitz function defined on all of ${\mathbb{R}^{n}}$ . This extends results of Jones and David, from 1988. As a simple corollary, we show that n-dimensional Ahlfors–David regular spaces lying in ${\mathbb{R}^{D}}$ having big pieces of bi-Lipschitz images also have big pieces of big pieces of Lipschitz graphs in ${\mathbb{R}^{D}}$ . This was previously known only for D ≥ 2n?+?1 by a result of David and Semmes.  相似文献

We prove that a planar $C^1$ -smooth map $f:D\longrightarrow \mathbb{R }^{2n}$ , where $D\subseteq \mathbb{R }^{2n}$ is a convex open set, is injective if $\mathbb{R }\cap \mathrm{Spec}(df)_z=\emptyset $ for all $z\in D$ . We continue by showing that the triangulability of the differentials $(df)_z$ , $z\in D$ , ensure the global injectivity as well.  相似文献

In this paper we are concerned with the classification of the subsets A of ${\mathbb{Z}_p}$ which occur as images ${f(\mathbb{Z}_p^r)}$ of polynomial functions ${f:\mathbb{Z}_p^r\to \mathbb{Z}_p}$ , limiting ourselves to compact-open subsets (i.e. finite unions of open balls). We shall prove three main results: (i) Every compact-open ${A\subset \mathbb{Z}_p}$ is of the shape ${A=f(\mathbb{Z}_p^r)}$ for suitable r and ${f\in\mathbb{Z}_p[X_1,\ldots ,X_r]}$ . (ii) For each r 0 there is a compact-open A such that in (i) we cannot take r < r 0. (iii) For any compact-open set ${A\subset \mathbb{Z}_p}$ there exists a polynomial ${f\in\mathbb{Q}_p[X]}$ such that ${f(\mathbb{Z}_p)=A}$ . We shall also discuss in more detail which sets A can be represented as ${f(\mathbb{Z}_p)}$ for a polynomial ${f\in\mathbb{Z}_p[X]}$ in a single variable.  相似文献

Let ${\nu_{d} : \mathbb{P}^{r} \rightarrow \mathbb{P}^{N}, N := \left( \begin{array}{ll} r + d \\ \,\,\,\,\,\, r \end{array} \right)- 1,}$ denote the degree d Veronese embedding of ${\mathbb{P}^{r}}$ . For any ${P\, \in \, \mathbb{P}^{N}}$ , the symmetric tensor rank sr(P) is the minimal cardinality of a set ${\mathcal{S} \subset \nu_{d}(\mathbb{P}^{r})}$ spanning P. Let ${\mathcal{S}(P)}$ be the set of all ${A \subset \mathbb{P}^{r}}$ such that ${\nu_{d}(A)}$ computes sr(P). Here we classify all ${P \,\in\, \mathbb{P}^{n}}$ such that sr(P) <  3d/2 and sr(P) is computed by at least two subsets of ${\nu_{d}(\mathbb{P}^{r})}$ . For such tensors ${P\, \in\, \mathbb{P}^{N}}$ , we prove that ${\mathcal{S}(P)}$ has no isolated points.  相似文献

A double line ${C \subset \mathbb{P}^3}$ is a connected divisor of type (2, 0) on a smooth quadric surface. Fix ${(a, c) \in \mathbb{N}^2\ \backslash\ \{(0, 0)\}}$ . Let ${X \subset \mathbb{P}^3}$ be a general disjoint union of a lines and c double lines. Then X has maximal rank, i.e. for each ${t \in \mathbb{Z}}$ either ${h^1(\mathcal{I}_X(t)) = 0}$ or ${h^0(\mathcal{I}_X(t)) = 0}$ .  相似文献

Let $f,g$ be two closed $k$ -forms over $\mathbb{R }^{n}.$ The pullback equation studies the existence of a diffeomorphism $\varphi :\mathbb{R }^{n} \rightarrow \mathbb{R }^{n}$ such that $$\begin{aligned} \varphi ^{*}(g)=f. \end{aligned}$$ We prove two types of results. The first one sharpens some of the existing regularity results. The second one discusses the possibility of choosing the map $\varphi $ as the gradient of a function $\Phi :\mathbb{R }^{n} \rightarrow \mathbb R .$ We show that this is a very rare event unless the two forms are constant.  相似文献

We consider the pseudo-euclidean space ${(\mathbb{R}^n, g)}$ , with n ≥  3 and ${g_{ij} = \delta_{ij} \varepsilon_i, \varepsilon_i = \pm 1}$ and tensors of the form ${T = \sum \nolimits_i \varepsilon_i f_i (x) dx_i^2}$ . In this paper, we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for a diagonal tensor to admit a metric ${\bar{g}}$ , conformal to g, so that ${A_{\bar g}=T}$ , where ${A_{\bar g}}$ is the Schouten Tensor of the metric ${\bar g}$ . The solution to this problem is given explicitly for special cases for the tensor T, including a case where the metric ${\bar g}$ is complete on ${\mathbb{R}^n}$ . Similar problems are considered for locally conformally flat manifolds. As an application of these results we consider the problem of finding metrics ${\bar g}$ , conformal to g, such that ${\sigma_2 ({\bar g })}$ or ${\frac{\sigma_2 ({\bar g })}{\sigma_1 ({\bar g })}}$ is equal to a given function. We prove that for some functions, f 1 and f 2, there exist complete metrics ${\bar{g} = g/{\varphi^2}}$ , such that ${\sigma_2 ({\bar g }) = f_1}$ or ${\frac{\sigma_2 ({\bar g })}{\sigma_1 ({\bar g })} = f_2}$ .  相似文献

Consider a finite dimensional complex Hilbert space ${\mathcal{H}}$ , with ${dim(\mathcal{H}) \geq 3}$ , define ${\mathbb{S}(\mathcal{H}):= \{x\in \mathcal{H} \:|\: \|x\|=1\}}$ , and let ${\nu_\mathcal{H}}$ be the unique regular Borel positive measure invariant under the action of the unitary operators in ${\mathcal{H}}$ , with ${\nu_\mathcal{H}(\mathbb{S}(\mathcal{H}))=1}$ . We prove that if a complex frame function ${f : \mathbb{S}(\mathcal{H})\to \mathbb{C}}$ satisfies ${f \in \mathbb{L}^2(\mathbb{S}(\mathcal{H}), \nu_\mathcal{H})}$ , then it verifies Gleason’s statement: there is a unique linear operator ${A: \mathcal{H} \to \mathcal{H}}$ such that ${f(u) = \langle u| A u\rangle}$ for every ${u \in \mathbb{S}(\mathcal{H}).\,A}$ is Hermitean when f is real. No boundedness requirement is thus assumed on f a priori.  相似文献

We classify hypersurfaces of rank two of Euclidean space ${\mathbb{R}^{n+1}}$ that admit genuine isometric deformations in ${\mathbb{R}^{n+2}}$ . That an isometric immersion ${\hat{f}\colon M^n \to \mathbb{R}^{n+2}}$ is a genuine isometric deformation of a hypersurface ${f\colon M^n\to\mathbb{R}^{n+1}}$ means that ${\hat f}$ is nowhere a composition ${\hat f=\hat F\circ f}$ , where ${\hat{F} \colon V\subset \mathbb{R}^{n+1} \to\mathbb{R}^{n+2}}$ is an isometric immersion of an open subset V containing the hypersurface.  相似文献

Let ${f:\Omega \rightarrow \mathbb{R}}$ be a smooth function on a domain   ${\Omega \subset \mathbb{C}^n}$ with its Hessian matrix ${\left( \frac{\partial^2 f}{\partial z^i \partial\bar{z}^j}\right)}$ positive Hermitian. In this paper, we investigate a class of partial differential equations $$\Delta \ln \det (f_{i\bar{j}}) = \beta \;\| \text{grad} \ln \det (f_{i\bar{j}}) \|^2, $$ where Δ and ${\| \cdot \|}$ are the Laplacian and tensor norm, respectively, with respect to the metric ${G = \sum f_{i\bar{j}} \,dz^i \otimes d\bar{z}^j}$ , and β > 1 is some real constant depending on the dimension n. We prove that the above PDEs have a Bernstein property when the metric G is complete, provided that ${\det (f_{i\bar{j}})}$ and the Ricci curvature are bounded.  相似文献

In this paper we describe the actions of the operator $S_\mathbb{D }$ or its adjoint $S_\mathbb{D }^*$ on the poly-Bergman spaces of the unit disk $\mathbb{D }.$ Let $k$ and $j$ be positive integers. We prove that $(S_\mathbb{D })^{j}$ is an isometric isomorphism between the true poly-Bergman subspace $\mathcal{A }_{(k)}^2(\mathbb{D })\ominus N_{(k),j}$ onto the true poly-Bergman space $\mathcal{A }_{(j+k)}^2(\mathbb{D }),$ where the linear space $N_{(k),j}$ have finite dimension $j.$ The action of $(S_\mathbb{D })^{j-1}$ on the canonical Hilbert base for the Bergman subspace $\mathcal{A }^2(\mathbb{D })\ominus \mathcal{P }_{j-1},$ gives a Hilbert base $\{ \phi _{ j , k } \}_{ k }$ for $\mathcal{A }_{(j)}^2(\mathbb{D }).$ It is shown that $\{ \phi _{ j , k } \}_{ j, k }$ is a Hilbert base for $L^2(\mathbb{D },d A)$ such that whenever $j$ and $k$ remain constant we obtain a Hilbert base for the true poly-Bergman space $\mathcal{A }_{(j)}^2(\mathbb{D })$ and $\mathcal{A }_{(-k)}^2(\mathbb{D }),$ respectively. The functions $\phi _{ j , k }$ are polynomials in $z$ and $\overline{z}$ and are explicitly given in terms of the $(2,1)$ -hypergeometric polynomials. We prove explicit representations for the true poly-Bergman kernels and the Koshelev representation for the poly-Bergman kernels of $\mathbb{D }.$ The action of $S_\Pi $ on the true poly-Bergman spaces of the upper half-plane $\Pi $ allows one to introduce Hilbert bases for the true poly-Bergman spaces, and to give explicit representations of the true poly-Bergman and poly-Bergman kernels.  相似文献

For a sequence $\underline{u}=(u_n)_{n\in \mathbb{N }}$ of integers, let $t_{\underline{u}}(\mathbb{T })$ be the group of all topologically $\underline{u}$ -torsion elements of the circle group $\mathbb{T }:=\mathbb{R }/\mathbb{Z }$ . We show that for any $s\in ]0,1[$ and $m\in \{0,+\infty \}$ there exists $\underline{u}$ such that $t_{\underline{u}}(\mathbb{T })$ has Hausdorff dimension $s$ and $s$ -dimensional Hausdorff measure equal to $m$ (no other values for $m$ are possible). More generally, for dimension functions $f,g$ with $f(t)\prec g(t), f(t)\prec \!\!\!\prec t$ and $g(t)\prec \!\!\!\prec t$ we find $\underline{u}$ such that $t_{\underline{u}}(\mathbb{T })$ has at the same time infinite $f$ -measure and null $g$ -measure.  相似文献

In this note we prove the following: Let n?≥ 2 be a fixed integer. A system of additive functions ${A_{1},A_{2},\ldots,A_{n}:\mathbb{R} \to\mathbb{R}}$ is linearly dependent (as elements of the ${\mathbb{R}}$ vector space ${\mathbb{R}^{\mathbb{R}}}$ ), if and only if, there exists an indefinite quadratic form ${Q:\mathbb{R}^{n}\to\mathbb{R} }$ such that ${Q(A_{1}(x),A_{2}(x),\ldots,A_{n}(x))\geq 0}$ or ${Q(A_{1}(x),A_{2}(x),\ldots,A_{n}(x))\leq 0}$ holds for all ${x\in\mathbb{R}}$ .  相似文献

Linear recurring sequences over finite fields play an important role in coding theory and cryptography. It is known that subfield subcodes of linear codes yield some good codes. In this paper, we study linear recurring sequences and subfield subcodes. Let Mqm(f(x)) denote the set of all linear recurring sequences over Fqm with characteristic polynomial f(x) over Fqm . Denote the restriction of Mqm(f(x)) to sequences over Fq and the set after applying trace function to each sequence in Mqm(f(x)) by Mqm(f(x)) | Fq and Tr( Mqm(f(x))), respectively. It is shown that these two sets are both complete sets of linear recurring sequences over Fq with some characteristic polynomials over Fq. In this paper, we firstly determine the characteristic polynomials for these two sets. Then, using these results, we determine the generator polynomials of subfield subcodes and trace codes of cyclic codes over Fqm .  相似文献

In this paper, we prove the equidistribution of periodic points of a regular polynomial automorphism $f : \mathbb{A }^n \rightarrow \mathbb{A }^n$ defined over a number field $K$ : let $f$ be a regular polynomial automorphism defined over a number field $K$ and let $v\in M_K$ . Then there exists an $f$ -invariant probability measure $\mu _{f,v}$ on $\mathrm{Berk }\bigl ( \mathbb{P }^n_\mathbb{C _v} \bigr )$ such that the set of periodic points of $f$ is equidistributed with respect to $\mu _{f,v}$ .  相似文献

Let ${\Phi}$ be a continuous, strictly increasing and concave function on (0, ∞) of critical lower type index ${p_\Phi^- \in(0,\,1]}$ . Let L be an injective operator of type ω having a bounded H functional calculus and satisfying the k-Davies–Gaffney estimates with ${k \in {\mathbb Z}_+}$ . In this paper, the authors first introduce an Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ in terms of the non-tangential L-adapted square function and then establish its molecular characterization. As applications, the authors prove that the generalized Riesz transform ${D_{\gamma}L^{-\delta/(2k)}}$ is bounded from the Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the Orlicz space ${L^{\widetilde{\Phi}}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${p_\Phi^- \in (0, \frac{n}{n+ \delta - \gamma}]}$ , ${0 < \gamma \le \delta < \infty}$ and ${\delta- \gamma < n (\frac{1}{p_-(L)}-\frac{1}{p_+(L)})}$ , or from ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\widetilde \Phi}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${p_\Phi^-\in (\frac{n}{n + \delta+ \lfloor \gamma \rfloor- \gamma},\,\frac{n}{n+ \delta- \gamma}]}$ , ${1\le \gamma \le \delta < \infty}$ and ${\delta- \gamma < n (\frac{1}{p_-(L)}-\frac{1}{p_+(L)})}$ , or from ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the weak Orlicz–Hardy space ${WH^\Phi(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${\gamma = \delta}$ and ${p_\Phi=n/(n + \lfloor \gamma \rfloor)}$ or ${p_\Phi^-=n/(n + \lfloor \gamma \rfloor)}$ with ${p_\Phi^-}$ attainable, where ${\widetilde{\Phi}}$ is an Orlicz function whose inverse function ${\widetilde{\Phi}^{-1}}$ is defined by ${\widetilde{\Phi}^{-1}(t):=\Phi^{-1}(t)t^{\frac{1}{n}(\gamma- \delta)}}$ for all ${t \in (0,\,\infty)}$ , ${p_\Phi}$ denotes the strictly critical lower type index of ${\Phi}$ , ${\lfloor \gamma \rfloor}$ the maximal integer not more than ${\gamma}$ and ${(p_-(L),\,p_+(L))}$ the range of exponents ${p \in[1,\, \infty]}$ for which the semigroup ${\{e^{-tL}\}_{t >0 }}$ is bounded on ${L^p(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ .  相似文献
