A recently developed non-perturbative chiral approach to describe the S = −1 meson-baryon reactions has been extended to investigate the near threshold Kp → γΛ,γΣ0 reactions. With the parameters governed by chiral SU(3) symmetry, we show that the predicted branching ratios ΓKp→γΛKpall and ΓKp→γΣ0Kpall are close to the experimental values. The coupling with the η channels, which was shown to be important in the S = −1 meson-baryon reactions, is also found to be significant here. Our results are consistent with the interpretation of the Λ(1405) as a quasi-bound meson-baryon state as found in other similar chiral approaches.  相似文献

In the framework of the perturbative QCD, the two-fold differential cross section d2σ/dxTdxL of the reaction γ+p→2γ+X and its two backgrounds (γ+p→γ++X, γ+p→γ++X) are calculated in c.m.s.. The results show that, in a large range of (xT, xL), the calculated reaction cross section can be measured in current laboratory condition. And due to the properties of this reaction, i.e., large pT photoproduction and direct photon pair emission, all of the backgrounds can be greatly suppressed.

We analyze the recent total cross section data for pppΛK + near threshold measured at COSY. Using an effective range approximation for the on-shell pΛ S-wave final state interaction we extract from these data the combination ?= (2|K s|2+|K t|2)−1/2= 0.38 fm4 of the singlet (K s) and triplet (K t) threshold transition amplitudes. We present an exploratory calculation of various (tree-level) vector and pseudoscalar meson exchange diagrams. Pointlike ω-exchange alone and the combined (ρ0,ω,K*+)-exchange can explain the experimental value of ?. The pseudoscalar meson exchanges based on a SU(3) chiral Lagrangian turn out to be too large. However, when adding π0-exchange in combination with the resonant πNS 11(1650) →KΛ transition and introducing monopole form factors with a cut-off Λc= 1.5 GeV one is again able to reproduce the experimental value of ?. The reactions π+ p→π+(K + K ? π+ π? p andppp(K + K ? π+ π?)p where the (K + K ? π+ π?) system is centrally produced have been studied at 85 GeV/c. 48% of the final state proceeds through single or double vector meson resonant production i.e.,K *0(890) (37%), ? (4%),ρ 0 (7%). Evidence is found for associatedK *0 (890) \(\bar K\) *o (890) production (6.4±1.1%) with a cross section ten times higher than that found for associated ? ? production in the same experiment.  相似文献

The cross-sections for the reactions of the strange production p + p ↦ p + Λ + K+ and p + p ↦ p + Σ0 + K+ near thresholds of the final states pΛK+ and pΣ0K+ are calculated in the effective Lagrangian approach. Our approach is based on the dominant contribution of the one-pion exchange and strong interaction of the colliding protons in the initial state. The theoretical values of the cross-sections agree reasonably well with the experimental data. The polarization properties of the Λ- and Σ0-hyperons are discussed.  相似文献

The perturbative QCD approach is used to calculate the invariant cross section of open charm production in Deep Compton scattering at high energy. The basic subprocess considered is \(\gamma G \to \gamma c\bar c\) , and the background due to the charm excitation subprocess γc→γc is also estimated. We have investigated the properties of off-shell \(\bar K\) K and \(\bar p\) p annihilations into pions by using the interactionsK ? p → Λ + pions at 4.2 GeV/c. The properties considered are multiplicities, hadronic temperatures and angular distributions. These properties appear more akin to those of \(\bar p\) p annihilations in flight than to that of \(\bar p\) p annihilation at rest despite the fact that the annihilation energy is small.  相似文献

The reaction γppπ0η has been studied with the CBELSA detector at the tagged photon beam of the Bonn electron stretcher facility. The reaction shows contributions from Δ+(1232)η , N(1535)+π0 and pa 0(980) as intermediate states. A partial-wave analysis suggests that the reaction proceeds via formation of six Δ -resonances, Δ(1600)P 33 , Δ(1920)P 33 , Δ(1700)D 33 , Δ(1940)D 33 , Δ(1905)F 35 , Δ(2360)D 33 , and two nucleon resonances N(1880)P 11 and N(2200)P 13 , for which pole positions and decay branching ratios are given.  相似文献

Results are presented onK + p elastic scattering and on the reactionK + pK + pπ+π? at 70 GeV/c. For the elastic channel, we measured the total ((2.29±0.04)mb) and differentialdσ/dt cross sections. The reactionK + pK + pπ+π? has a total cross section of (470±23) μb and is shown to be dominated by diffractive dissociation processes. The contributions of the quasi-two-body channels $$K^ + p \to K*^0 (890)\Delta ^{ + + } (1,236)$$ and $$K^ + p \to K*^0 (1,430)\Delta ^{ + + } (1,236)$$ and of the Double-Pomeron Exchange (DPE) processes are estimated.  相似文献

The reactions γp → K+ Σ± π? were studied with the SAPHIR detector using a tagged photon beam at the electron stretcher facility ELSA in Bonn. The decays Σ ? ? and Σ + +, 0 were fully reconstructed. Reaction cross-sections were measured as a function of the photon energy from threshold up to 2.6 GeV with considerably improved statistics compared to a previous bubble chamber measurement. The cross-sections rise monotonically with increasing photon energy. The two-particle mass distributions of Σ ± π ? and K + π ? show substantial production of resonant states.  相似文献

The reaction γpK + Λ(1520) was measured in the energy range from threshold to 2.65 GeV with the SAPHIR detector at the electron stretcher facility ELSA in Bonn. The Λ(1520) production cross-section was analyzed in the decay modes pK ?, $ n\bar K^0 $ , Σ ± π ?, and Λπ + π ? as a function of the photon energy and the squared four-momentum transfer t . While the cross-sections for the inclusive reactions rise steadily with energy, the cross-section of the process γpK + Λ(1520) peaks at a photon energy of about 2.0 GeV, falls off exponentially with t , and shows a slope flattening with increasing photon energy. The angular distributions in the t-channel helicity system indicate neither a K nor a K * exchange dominance. Rather, the rapid change of the angular distribution with energy suggests that, in addition to t -channel K and K* exchange, amplitudes for formation of nucleon resonances in the s-channel play an important role.  相似文献

Gamma-ray energy correlations have been measured for several reactions leading to light-mass Hf isotopes with 160 ?A?166. The correlation spectra show ridge-valley structures up to high rotational frequencies from which a drop in J c (2) is deduced at high frequencies. This drop suggests that a large portion of the angular momentum is generated by aligning particles. It may also be explained by the theoretically predicted triaxial states with large deformation.  相似文献

The measurement of parity-violating (PV) observables in few-nucleon system can shed light on our current understanding of the weak interaction between nucleons.Theoretical models describe the nucleonnucleon weak interaction at low energies use a series of undetermined parameters.Two parity violating measurements have been considered: the capture of polarized slow neutrons on hydrogen (n + p → d + γ) at Los Alamos National Laboratory for first phase and Oka Ridge National Laboratory for second phase and the helicity dependence of the deuteron photodisintegration cross section using circularly polarized photons (γ + d → n + p) at Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics.The goal of both experiments is to constraint the weak meson-nucleon couplings to a precision of 1 ×10-8 .The introduction of both experiments is presented.  相似文献

Polarization properties of strange baryons produced in pp reactions, p + p↦p + Λ0 + K+ and p + p↦p + Σ0 + K+, near thresholds of the final states pΛ0K+ and pΣ0K+ are analysed relative to polarizations of colliding protons. The cross-sections for pp reactions are calculated within the effective Lagrangian approach accounting for strong pp rescattering in the initial state of colliding protons with a dominant contribution of the one-pion exchange and strong final-state interaction of daughter hadrons (Eur. An experiment on the radiative {+}-meson photoproduction from the proton ( p {+}n) was carried out at the Mainz Microtron MAMI in the kinematic region 537MeV < E < 817MeV, 140° 180°. The {+}-meson polarizabilities have been determined from a comparison of the data with the predictions of two different theoretical models, the first one being based on an effective pole model with pseudoscalar coupling while the second one is based on diagrams describing both resonant and nonresonant contributions. The validity of the models has been verified by comparing the predictions with the present experimental data in the kinematic region where the pion polarizability contribution is negligible ( s1 < 5m2) and where the difference between the predictions of the two models does not exceed 3%. In the region, where the pion polarizability contribution is substantial ( 5 < s1/m2 < 15, -12 < t/m2 < - 2), the difference of the electric () and the magnetic () polarizabilities has been determined. As a result we find . This result is at variance with recent calculations in the framework of chiral perturbation theory.  相似文献

本文建议作π+p→Λ+π+K反应的实验,其中质心系总能量固定为1900MeV。在末态K介子动能0—90MeV的变化范围内,观察末态Λ-π共振和在∑πk道产生阈附近的近阈效应。通过共振-近阈效应关联和共振的角分布可以确定Y1*的自旋和Y1*,和∑之间的相对宇称。按照先处理T短阵的么正性,后处理解析性的思想,本文引入了T矩阵在道空间上的对角表象。在此基础上,提出了唯象描述近阈效应、共振现象和末态相互作用,特别是近阈效应和在阈附近共振的关联的一个新方法。并且应用这个方法,处理了所建议实验中的末态共振-近阈效应关联。 关键词:  相似文献

The s-channel annihilation of a proton and an antiproton into a neutral pion and a real or virtual photon followed by lepton pair emission is studied. Such a mechanism is expected to play a role at moderate values of the total energy $ \sqrt s $ , when the pion is emitted in the angular region around 90° in the center-of-mass system. A fair comparison with the existing data is obtained taking scattering and annihilation channels into account. The cross section is calculated and numerical results are given in the kinematical range accessible in the PANDA experiment at FAIR.  相似文献

Differential and total cross sections of the p + pπ+ + d reaction close to threshold were measured employing a magnetic spectrograph with track reconstruction, a very thin liquid hydrogen target and an accelerated proton beam with high phase space density. The data resolve a previous discrepancy between the n + pπ0 + d and the π+ + d → 2p reaction close to threshold indicating that isospin symmetry may be broken in the s-wave part of the cross section.  相似文献
