The stressed state of a thin elastic infinite plate with a circular hole covered by a circular patch of a greater radius is considered. The center of the hole coincides with the center of the patch. The patch is attached to the plate along its entire boundary. Stresses are prescribed at infinity on the plate and at the hole boundary. Complex Muskhelishvili potentials are found by the method of power series, and the behavior of stresses on the patch–plate interface and at the hole boundary is studied.  相似文献

We study the thermoelectric field for an electrically and thermally insulated coated hole of arbitrary shape embedded in an infinite nonlinearly coupled thermoelectric material subject to uniform remote electric current density and uniform remote energy flux. A conformal mapping function for the coating and matrix is introduced, which simultaneously maps the hole boundary and the coating-matrix interface onto two concentric circles in the image plane. Using analytic continuation, we derive a general solution in terms of two auxiliary functions. The general solution satisfies the insulating conditions along the hole boundary and all of the continuity conditions across the perfect coating-matrix interface. Once the two auxiliary functions have been obtained in the elementary-form, the four original analytic functions in the coating and matrix characterizing the thermoelectric fields are completely and explicitly determined. The design of a neutral coated circular hole that does not disturb the prescribed thermoelectric field in the thermoelectric matrix is achieved when the relative thickness parameter and the two mismatch parameters satisfy a simple condition. Finally, the neutrality of a coated circular thermoelectric inhomogeneity is also accomplished.  相似文献

A two-dimensional photoelastic study was made of the stresses produced in a regular hexagon with a central, circular hole when subjected to external pressure. Four sizes of the hole were tested, and three types of loading were used. This paper describes the pressure-loading fixtures and the procedure which was used to calibrate them. An experimental confirmation of the theoretical solution of Kawaguchi1 is given, and typical stress patterns and boundary stress distributions are included.  相似文献

The Kirsch problem of onesided tension of a plate with a circular hole is considered within the framework of the nonsymmetric theory of elasticity under the assumption that material deformation is described not only by the displacement vector but also by the rotation vector. The general analytical solution of this problem is expressed in terms of the Bessel functions. The resulting solution is compared with the corresponding solutions for a symmetric medium and Cosserat pseudomedium. A solution is obtained for a contact problem concerning the tension of a rectangular elastic plate with a circular hole into which a rigid stationary pin has been inserted. There is a small gap between the hole and the pin, which is of circular cross section. Friction acts in the contact region in accordance with the Coulomb law. The finite-element method and the Boussinesq principle are used to determine the load that realizes a specified contact region. In this paper a group of stress functions has been proposed for the calculation of a crack emanating from a hole with different shape (including circular, elliptical, rectangular, or rhombic hole) by boundary collocation method. The calculation results show that they coincide very well with the existing solutions by other methods for a circular or elliptical hole with a crack in an infinite plate. At the smae time, a series of results for different holes in a finite plate has also been obtained in this paper. The proposed functions and calculation procedure can be used for a plate of a crack emanating from an arbitrary hole.  相似文献

Ultrasonic wave scattering in a solid half-space containing a circular cylindrical hole is studied. The solid is struck by a bounded ultrasonic beam. Distributed Point Source Method (DPSM) which is a semi-analytical technique is adopted to model the ultrasonic field. A finite size transducer is used to generate the ultrasonic field. The circular hole in the solid is modeled by passive point sources. These point sources along with the point sources placed near the fluid–solid interface contribute to the scattered wave field in the solid. Even though the wave scattering by a circular hole in a solid is a classical problem this is the first time the complete variation of the scattered wave field generated by a bounded ultrasonic beam in a solid half-space with a circular hole is shown. The solution of this problem will help us to understand the distortion of the ultrasonic field in a solid and in the neighboring fluid due to the presence of a cylindrical anomaly which plays an important role in sensitivity analysis and calibration of different non-destructive testing techniques. Numerical examples for 1 MHz and 2.25 MHz transducers are given and scattered wave fields generated by holes of different diameters in an aluminum half-space are compared with the wave fields generated in the defect-free environment.  相似文献

This paper is the third of three papers evaluating a refined internal strainwire technique. This final paper evaluates the technique by comparing it with two elastic solutions, with a photoelastic solution, and with a new proposed photostrain technique. The problem chosen as the basis of comparison was a plane-stress problem of a plate with a circular hole under uniform tension. The proposed technique is experimental in nature and combines parts of the results of a photoelastic solution with those yielded by a three-wire internal strain-gage-rosette analysis to completely fix the state of stress in the model. The scientific techniques used to compare the three-wire strain technique and photostrain technique are as follows: two elastic solutions, one evaluated at a point and one arrived at by integrating the stress functions over a finite length; a finite-element solution; a photoelastic analysis using the shear-difference technique to separate the principal stresses; and a three-wire-rosette analysis. A comparison is made of the values of principal stresses yielded by these methods.  相似文献

A semi-analytical plane elasticity solution of the circular hole with diametrically opposite notches in a homogeneous and isotropic geomaterial is presented. This solution is based on: (i) the evaluation of the conformal mapping function of a hole of prescribed shape by an appropriate numerical scheme and (ii) the closed-form solutions of the Kolosov–Muskhelishvili complex potentials. For the particular case of circular notches––which resemble to the circular cavity breakout in rocks––it is demonstrated that numerical results pertaining to boundary stresses and displacements predicted by the finite differences model FLAC2D, as well as previous analytical results referring to the stress-concentration-factor, are in agreement with analytical results. It is also illustrated that the solution may be easily applied to non-rounded diametrically opposite notch geometries, such as “dog-eared” breakouts by properly selecting the respective conformal mapping function via the methodology presented herein. By employing a stress-mean-value brittle failure criterion that takes into account the stress-gradient effect in the vicinity of the curved surfaces in rock as well as the present semi-analytical solution, it is found that a notched hole, e.g. borehole or tunnel breakout, may exhibit stable propagation. The practical significance of the proposed solution lies in the fact that it can be used as a quick-solver for back-analysis of borehole breakout images obtained in situ via a televiewer for the estimation of the orientation and magnitude of in situ stresses and of strain–stress measurements in laboratory tests.  相似文献

对于含圆孔及孔边非均匀材料圆环的无限大薄板,假设非均匀材料的弹性模量沿径向按照指数函数变化,而泊松比为常数,分别导出了双轴拉伸和纯剪切作用时孔边及界面处的应力集中系数的解析解.通过数值算例详细分析了非均匀材料圆环的弹性模量的变化对无限大薄板的孔边及界面处的应力集中系数的影响.研究结果表明,合理选择孔边非均匀材料圆环的材料性能变化参数可有效地缓解薄板的孔边应力集中程度.本文的研究结果可为含圆孔的薄板的设计提供一定的参考.  相似文献

This paper presents an efficient alternating method for analyzing the interactions among multiple circular holes in a two-dimensional infinite domain. An analytical solution is derived for a single circular hole in an infinite domain subjected to the arbitrary tractions across the circle boundary to achieve this purpose. This analytical solution correlates with a successive iterative superposition process capable of satisfying the prescribed boundary condition for each circular hole of the problem. In addition, several perforated plate problems are solved to demonstrate the proposed methods validity. The computed results and the available referenced solutions closely corresponds to each other and indicates the methods accuracy and efficiency.  相似文献

A general method is presented for the rigorous solution of a circular inclusion embedded within an infinite matrix in plane elastostatics. The bonding at the inclusion-matrix interface is considered to be imperfect with the assumption that the interface imperfections are circumferentially inhomogeneous. Using analytic continuation, the basic boundary value problem for four analytic functions is reduced to two coupled first order differential equations for two analytic functions. The resulting closed-form solutions include a finite number of unknown constants determined by analyticity and certain other auxiliary conditions. The method is illustrated using a particular class of inhomogeneous interface. The results from these calculations are compared to the corresponding results when the imperfections in the interface are circumferentially homogeneous. These comparisons illustrate, for the first time, how the circumferential variation of the parameter describing the imperfection has a pronounced effect on the average stresses induced within the inclusion. 空腔和裂纹缺陷通常共存于深部地下岩体中,它们共同影响着岩体的结构安全性与稳定性。为了探究动力扰动载荷下圆形空腔对裂隙岩体内裂纹扩展行为的影响规律,提出了不同圆孔倾角的直裂纹空腔圆弧开口试件(circular opening specimen with straight crack cavity, COSSCC),利用自制大型落锤冲击实验装置进行动态加载实验,同时采用裂纹扩展计系统测试了裂纹的动态起裂时刻与裂纹扩展速度等各种断裂力学参数,随后采用有限差分软件Autodyn进行裂纹扩展路径与圆孔周围应力场的数值分析,并采用有限元软件Abaqus计算裂纹的动态起裂韧度与裂纹扩展过程中的动态扩展韧度。结果表明:(1)当圆孔倾角θ小于10°时,裂纹扩展路径会偏折并穿过圆孔表面;当圆孔倾角θ为20°与30°时,裂纹扩展路径向圆孔方向发生偏折但不会穿过圆孔,圆孔具有明显的裂纹扩展引导作用; 当圆孔倾角θ为40°与50°时,裂纹扩展路径不会发生偏折,圆孔引导作用明显减弱。(2)当裂纹扩展路径达到圆孔空腔附近时,裂纹尖端的拉伸应力区与圆孔边缘的拉伸应力区发生重合,此时裂纹扩展速度显著增大,裂纹动态断裂韧度显著减小。(3)裂纹的偏折方向与裂纹尖端最大周向应力的方向基本一致。(4)裂纹动态断裂韧度始终小于裂纹起裂韧度,且裂纹动态断裂韧度与裂纹动态扩展速度呈负相关关系。裂纹动态扩展速度越大,裂纹动态断裂韧度越小。  相似文献
