A ring is said to be UR if every element can be written as the sum of a unit and a regular element. These rings are shown to be a unifying generalization of regular rings, clean rings and (S, 2)-ring~. In this paper we consider the theta correspondence between the sets and when is a nonarchimedean local field and . Our main theorem determines all the elements of that occur in the correspondence. The answer involves distinguished representations. As a corollary, we characterize all the elements of that occur in the theta correspondence between and . We also apply our main result to prove a case of a new conjecture of S.S. Kudla concerning the first occurrence of a representation in the theta correspondence.

The aim of this paper is to define $(p, q)$-analogue of Mittag-Leffler Function, by using $(p, q)$-Gamma function. Some transformation formulae are also derivedby using the $(p, q)$-derivative. The $(p, q)$-analogue for this function provides elegantgeneralization of $q$-analogue of Mittag-Leffler function in connection with $q$-calculus.Moreover, the $(p, q)$-Laplace Transform of the Mittag-Leffler function has been obtained. We continue to study the problem of inventory control, with simultaneous pricing optimization in continuous time. In our previous paper [8], we considered the case without set up cost, and established the optimality of the base stock-list price (BSLP) policy. In this paper we consider the situation of fixed price. We prove that the discrete time optimal strategy (see [11]), i.e., the (s, S, p) policy can be extended to the continuous time case using the framework of quasi-variational inequalities (QVIs) involving the value function. In the process we show that an associated second order, nonlinear two-point boundary value problem for the value function has a unique solution yielding the triplet (s, S, p). For application purposes the explicit knowledge of this solution is needed to specify the optimal inventory and pricing strategy. Se- lecting a particular demand function we are able to formulate and implement a numerical algorithm to obtain good approximations for the optimal strategy. 相似文献
