A multi(sub)linear maximal operator that acts on the product of m Lebesgue spaces and is smaller than the m-fold product of the Hardy-Littlewood maximal function is studied. The operator is used to obtain a precise control on multilinear singular integral operators of Calderón-Zygmund type and to build a theory of weights adapted to the multilinear setting. A natural variant of the operator which is useful to control certain commutators of multilinear Calderón-Zygmund operators with BMO functions is then considered. The optimal range of strong type estimates, a sharp end-point estimate, and weighted norm inequalities involving both the classical Muckenhoupt weights and the new multilinear ones are also obtained for the commutators.  相似文献

We generalize the Ap extrapolation theorem of Rubio de Francia to A weights in the context of Muckenhoupt bases. Our result has several important features. First, it can be used to prove weak endpoint inequalities starting from strong-type inequalities, something which is impossible using the classical result. Second, it provides an alternative to the technique of good-λ inequalities for proving Lp norm inequalities relating operators. Third, it yields vector-valued inequalities without having to use the theory of Banach space valued operators. We give a number of applications to maximal functions, singular integrals, potential operators, commutators, multilinear Calderón-Zygmund operators, and multiparameter fractional integrals. In particular, we give new proofs, which completely avoid the good-λ inequalities, of Coifman's inequality relating singular integrals and the maximal operator, of the Fefferman-Stein inequality relating the maximal operator and the sharp maximal operator, and the Muckenhoupt-Wheeden inequality relating the fractional integral operator and the fractional maximal operator.  相似文献

We develop a generalized Littlewood-Paley theory for semigroups acting on Lp-spaces of functions with values in uniformly convex or smooth Banach spaces. We characterize, in the vector-valued setting, the validity of the one-sided inequalities concerning the generalized Littlewood-Paley-Stein g-function associated with a subordinated Poisson symmetric diffusion semigroup by the martingale cotype and type properties of the underlying Banach space. We show that in the case of the usual Poisson semigroup and the Poisson semigroup subordinated to the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck semigroup on Rn, this general theory becomes more satisfactory (and easier to be handled) in virtue of the theory of vector-valued Calderón-Zygmund singular integral operators.  相似文献

In a recent paper (Studia Math. 138 (2000) 285-291) we proved pointwise estimates relating some classical maximal and singular integral operators. Here we show that, in a sense, there are more flexible inequalities which not only imply the previously known results but also give something new. In particular, they hold for the multilinear Calderón-Zygmund operators. This result gives a new approach to a recent work by Grafakos and Torres, and unifies some classical inequalities by Cotlar and Coifman and Fefferman.  相似文献

We prove two-weight norm inequalities for Calderón-Zygmund singular integrals that are sharp for the Hilbert transform and for the Riesz transforms. In addition, we give results for the dyadic square function and for commutators of singular integrals. As an application we give new results for the Sarason conjecture on the product of unbounded Toeplitz operators on Hardy spaces.  相似文献

In this paper we prove that the L2 spectral radius of the traction double layer potential operator associated with the Lamé system on an infinite sector in R2 is within 10−2 from a certain conjectured value which depends explicitly on the aperture of the sector and the Lamé moduli of the system. This type of result is relevant to the spectral radius conjecture, cf., e.g., Problem 3.2.12 in [C.E. Kenig, Harmonic Analysis Techniques for Second Order Elliptic Boundary Value Problems, CBMS Reg. Conf. Ser. Math., vol. 83, Amer. Math. Soc., Providence, RI, 1994]. The techniques employed in the paper are a blend of classical tools such as Mellin transforms, and Calderón-Zygmund theory, as well as interval analysis—resulting in a computer-aided proof.  相似文献

Calderón-Zygmund singular integral operators have been extensively studied for almost half a century. This paper provides a context for and proof of the following result: If a Calderón-Zygmund convolution singular integral operator is bounded on the Hardy space H1 (Rn), then the homogeneous of degree zero kernel is in the Hardy space H1(Sn–1) on the sphere.  相似文献

It is well-known that several classical results about Calderón–Zygmund singular integral operators can be extended to X-valued functions if and only if the Banach space X has the UMD property. The dependence of the norm of an X-valued Calderón–Zygmund operator on the UMD constant of the space X is conjectured to be linear. We prove that this is indeed the case for sufficiently smooth Calderón–Zygmund operators with cancellation, associated to an even kernel. Our method uses the Bellman function technique to obtain the right estimates for the norm of dyadic Haar shift operators. We then apply the representation theorem of T. Hytönen to extend the result to general Calderón–Zygmund operators.  相似文献

A systematic treatment of multilinear Calderón-Zygmund operators is presented. The theory developed includes strong type and endpoint weak type estimates, interpolation, a multilinear T1 theorem, and a variety of results regarding multilinear multiplier operators.  相似文献

In this paper, the maximal operator associated with multilinear Calderón-Zygmund singular integral operators will be studied by using an improved Coltlar's inequality. Moreover, weighted norm inequalities and some estimates on weighted Hardy spaces are obtained for this maximal operator.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove the product Hp boundedness of Calderón- Zygmund operators which were considered by Fefferman and Stein. The methods used in this paper are new even for the classical Hp boundedness of Calderón- Zygmund operators, namely, using some subtle estimates together with the HpLp boundedness of product vector valued Calderón-Zygmund operators. This project was supported by the NNSF (No. 10271015 & No. 10310201047) of China and the second (corresponding) author was also supported by the RFDP (No. 20020027004) of China.Mathematics Subject Classification (2000):42B20, 42B30, 42B25  相似文献

It was well known that Calderón-Zygmund operators T are bounded on Hp for provided T(1)=0. A new Hardy space , where b is a para-accretive function, was introduced in [Y. Han, M. Lee, C. Lin, Hardy spaces and the Tb-theorem, J. Geom. Anal. 14 (2004) 291-318] and the authors proved that Calderón-Zygmund operators T are bounded from the classical Hardy space Hp to the new Hardy space if T(b)=0. In this note, we give a simple and direct proof of the boundedness of Calderón-Zygmund operators via the vector-valued singular integral operator theory.  相似文献

We consider expansions with respect to the multi-dimensional Hermite functions which are eigenfunctions of the harmonic oscillator L=−Δ+|x|2. For the heat-diffusion and Poisson semigroups corresponding to a self-adjoint extension of L we investigate their boundary behaviour and mapping properties. All this is done for functions from Lp(w), 1?p<∞, wAp. Then Riesz transforms and conjugate Poisson integrals are considered. The Riesz transforms occur to be Calderón-Zygmund operators hence their mapping properties follow by using results from a general theory.  相似文献

Let T be a Calderón-Zygmund operator in a “non-homogeneous” space ( , d, μ), where, in particular, the measure μ may be non-doubling. Much of the classical theory of singular integrals has been recently extended to this context by F. Nazarov, S. Treil, and A. Volberg and, independently by X. Tolsa. In the present work we study some weighted inequalities for T*, which is the supremum of the truncated operators associated with T. Specifically, for1<p<∞, we obtain sufficient conditions for the weight in one side, which guarantee that another weight exists in the other side, so that the corresponding Lp weighted inequality holds for T*. The main tool to deal with this problem is the theory of vector-valued inequalities for T* and some related operators. We discuss it first by showing how these operators are connected to the general theory of vector-valued Calderón-Zygmund operators in non-homogeneous spaces, developed in our previous paper [6]. For the Cauchy integral operator C, which is the main example, we apply the two-weight inequalities for C* to characterize the existence of principal values for functions in weighted Lp.  相似文献

Under the assumption that μ is a non-doubling measure on Rd, the authors obtain some estimates for the maximal multilinear commutators generated by Calderón-Zygmund operator T and RBMO(μ) functions associated to this measures.  相似文献

This is the first part of a series of four articles. In this work, we are interested in weighted norm estimates. We put the emphasis on two results of different nature: one is based on a good-λ inequality with two parameters and the other uses Calderón-Zygmund decomposition. These results apply well to singular “non-integral” operators and their commutators with bounded mean oscillation functions. Singular means that they are of order 0, “non-integral” that they do not have an integral representation by a kernel with size estimates, even rough, so that they may not be bounded on all Lp spaces for 1<p<∞. Pointwise estimates are then replaced by appropriate localized Lp-Lq estimates. We obtain weighted Lp estimates for a range of p that is different from (1,∞) and isolate the right class of weights. In particular, we prove an extrapolation theorem “à la Rubio de Francia” for such a class and thus vector-valued estimates.  相似文献

Riesz transforms and conjugate Poisson integrals for multi-dimensional Laguerre function expansions of Hermite type with index α are defined and investigated. It is proved that for any multi-index α=(α1,…,αd) such that αi?−1/2, αi∉(−1/2,1/2), the appropriately defined Riesz transforms , j=1,2,…,d, are Calderón-Zygmund operators, hence their mapping properties follow from a general theory. Similar mapping results are obtained in one dimension, without excluding α∈(−1/2,1/2), by means of a local Calderón-Zygmund theory and weighted Hardy's inequalities. The conjugate Poisson integrals are shown to satisfy a system of Cauchy-Riemann type equations and to recover the Riesz-Laguerre transforms on the boundary. The two specific values of α, (−1/2,…,−1/2) and (1/2,…,1/2), are distinguished since then a connection with Riesz transforms for multi-dimensional Hermite function expansions is established.  相似文献

Continuous wavelets are often studied in the general framework of representation theory of square-integrable representations, or by using convolution relations and Fourier transforms. We consider the well-known problem whether these continuous wavelets can be discretized to yield wavelet frames. In this paper we use Calderón-Zygmund singular integral operators and atomic decompositions on spaces of homogeneous type, endowed with families of general translations and dilations, to attack this problem, and obtain strong convergence results for wavelets expansions in a variety of classical functional spaces and smooth molecule spaces. This approach is powerful enough to yield, in a uniform way, for example, frames of smooth wavelets for matrix dilations in n, for an affine extension of the Heisenberg group, and on many commutative hypergroups.  相似文献
