In this paper we study subHopfalgebras of graded Hopf algebra structures on a path coalgebra kQc. We prove that a Hopf structure on some subHopfquivers can be lifted to a Hopf structure on the whole Hopf quiver. If Q is a Schurian Hopf quiver, then we classified all simple-pointed subHopfalgebras of a graded Hopf structure on kQc. We also prove a dual Gabriel theorem for pointed Hopf algebras.  相似文献

This article is devoted to faithfully flat Hopf bi-Galois extensions defined by Fischman, Montgomery, and Schneider. Let H be a Hopf algebra with bijective antipode. Given a faithfully flat right H-Galois extension A/R and a right H-comodule subalgebra C ? A such that A is faithfully flat over C, we provide necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a Hopf algebra W so that A/C is a left W-Galois extension and A a (W, H)-bicomodule algebra. As a consequence, we prove that if R = k, there is a Hopf algebra W such that A/C is a left W-Galois extension and A a (W, H)-bicomodule algebra if and only if C is an H-submodule of A with respect to the Miyashita–Ulbrich action.  相似文献

Let H be a quasitriangular weak Hopf algebra. It is proved that the centralizer subalgebra of its source subalgebra in H is a braided group (or Hopf algebra in the category of left H-modules), which is cocommutative and also a left braided Lie algebra in the sense of Majid.  相似文献

In this paper, we define the notion of self-dual graded weak Hopf algebra and self-dual semilattice graded weak Hopf algebra. We give characterization of finite-dimensional such algebras when they are in structually simple forms in the sense of E. L. Green and E. N. Morcos. We also give the definition of self-dual weak Hopf quiver and apply these types of quivers to classify the finite- dimensional self-dual semilattice graded weak Hopf algebras. Finally, we prove partially the conjecture given by N. Andruskiewitsch and H.-J. Schneider in the case of finite-dimensional pointed semilattice graded weak Hopf algebra H when grH is self-dual.  相似文献

We consider the combinatorial Dyson-Schwinger equation X=B+(P(X)) in the non-commutative Connes-Kreimer Hopf algebra of planar rooted trees HNCK, where B+ is the operator of grafting on a root, and P a formal series. The unique solution X of this equation generates a graded subalgebra AN,P of HNCK. We describe all the formal series P such that AN,P is a Hopf subalgebra. We obtain in this way a 2-parameters family of Hopf subalgebras of HNCK, organized into three isomorphism classes: a first one, restricted to a polynomial ring in one variable; a second one, restricted to the Hopf subalgebra of ladders, isomorphic to the Hopf algebra of quasi-symmetric functions; a last (infinite) one, which gives a non-commutative version of the Faà di Bruno Hopf algebra. By taking the quotient, the last class gives an infinite set of embeddings of the Faà di Bruno algebra into the Connes-Kreimer Hopf algebra of rooted trees. Moreover, we give an embedding of the free Faà di Bruno Hopf algebra on D variables into a Hopf algebra of decorated rooted trees, together with a non-commutative version of this embedding.  相似文献

Let (H,R) be a finite dimensional quasitriangular weak Hopf algebra over a field k. We first construct a weak Hopf algebra [Δ(1)(H?H)Δ(1)]R, which is based on the subalgebra of the tensor product algebra H?H. For H a quasitriangular Hopf algebra, S 2, the square of the antipode is the inner automorphism induced by the Drinfeld element u, and S 4 is the inner automorphism induced by the grouplike element g = uS(u)?1. For H finite dimensional, results of Drinfeld and Radford express g in terms of the modular elements of H. This note supplies another proof which replaces the requirement of finite dimensionality with existence of a nonzero integral for H in H*. Similar results hold for the infinite dimensional coquasitriangular case; here we supply some interesting examples.  相似文献

Let H be a coquasitriangular quantum groupoid. In this paper, using a suitable idempotent element e in H, we prove that eH is a braided group (or a braided Hopf algebra in the category of right H-comodules), which generalizes Majid’s transmutation theory from a coquasitriangular Hopf algebra to a coquasitriangular weak Hopf algebra.  相似文献

Let H be a semisimple Hopf algebra over a field of characteristic 0, and A a finite-dimensional transitive H-module algebra with a l-dimensional ideal. It is proved that the smash product A#H is isomorphic to a full matrix algebra over some right coideal subalgebra N of H. The correspondence between A and such N, and the special case A = k(X) of function algebra on a finite set X are considered.  相似文献

It is proved in the paper that a Noetherian residually finite-dimensional Hopf algebra H is a flat module over any right Noetherian right coideal subalgebra A. In the case when A is a Hopf subalgebra we get faithful flatness. These results are obtained by verifying the existence of classical quotient rings of A and H. It is also proved that the antipode of either right or left Noetherian residually finite-dimensional Hopf algebra is bijective. As a consequence, such a Hopf algebra is right and left Noetherian simultaneously.

The aim of this paper is to study some questions of representation theory connected with the ring extensionBA, such as induction and restriction of simple or indecomposable modules. In particular, generalizations are given of classical results of Clifford, Green and Blattner on representations of groups and Lie algebras. The stabilizer of a leftB-module is introduced as a subcoalgebra ofH. Very often the stabilizer is a Hopf subalgebra. Abstract

Integrals in Hopf algebras are an essential tool in studying finite dimensional Hopf algebras and their action on rings. Over fields it has been shown by Sweedler that the existence of integrals in a Hopf algebra is equivalent to the Hopf algebra being finite dimensional. In this paper we examine how much of this is true Hopf algebras over rings. We show that over any commutative ring R that is not a field there exists a Hopf algebra H over R containing a non-zero integral but not being finitely generated as R-module. On the contrary we show that Sweedler's equivalence is still valid for free Hopf algebras or projective Hopf algebras over integral domains. Analogously for a left H-module algebra A we study the influence of non-zero left A#H-linear maps from A to A#H on H being finitely generated as R-module. Examples and application to separability are given.  相似文献

We extend the Larson–Sweedler theorem [Amer. J. Math. 91 (1969) 75] to weak Hopf algebras by proving that a finite dimensional weak bialgebra is a weak Hopf algebra iff it possesses a non-degenerate left integral. We show that the category of modules over a weak Hopf algebra is autonomous monoidal with semisimple unit and invertible modules. We also reveal the connection of invertible modules to left and right grouplike elements in the dual weak Hopf algebra. Defining distinguished left and right grouplike elements, we derive the Radford formula [Amer. J. Math. 98 (1976) 333] for the fourth power of the antipode in a weak Hopf algebra and prove that the order of the antipode is finite up to an inner automorphism by a grouplike element in the trivial subalgebra AT of the underlying weak Hopf algebra A.  相似文献

For a general crossed product E = A#f H, of an algebra A by a Hopf algebra H, we obtain complexes smaller than the canonical ones, giving the Hochschild homology and cohomology of E. These complexes are equipped with natural filtrations. The spectral sequences associated to them coincide with the ones obtained using a natural generalization of the direct method introduced in Trans. Amer. Math. Soc. 74 (1953) 110–134. We also get that if the 2-cocycle f takes its values in a separable subalgebra of A, then the Hochschild (co)homology of E with coefficients in M is the (co)homology of H with coefficients in a (co)chain complex.  相似文献

The Structure of Hopf Algebras with a Weak Projection   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
We analyze the structure of a Hopf algebra H that has a Hopf subalgebra H " and a left H "-module coalgebra projection onto H ". In this situation H H " Q for Q = H / H "+ H, and the Hopf algebra structure on H can be recovered from suitable structures on Q, among others an in general nonassociative multiplication. The construction of H from H " and Q generalizes Radford biproduct, double crossproducts, and certain bicrossproducts. Further examples are Hopf algebras with a triangular decomposition, like all quantized enveloping algebras. In an appendix, we improve a standard criterion for a bicrossproduct A B of two Hopf algebras to be a Hopf algebra, and we show that in this case the antipode of the bicrossproduct is bijective if the antipodes of the factors are.  相似文献
