The reaction of two equivalents of the functional phosphine ligand N-(diphenylphosphino)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-amine Ph2PNHC=NNCHS (2) with [PdCl2(NCPh)2] in the presence of NEt3 gives the neutral, P,N-chelated complex cis-[Pd(Ph2PN=CNN=CHS)2] ([Pd(2-H)2], 3b), which is analogous to the Pt(II) analogue cis-[Pt (Ph2PN=CNN=CHS)2] ([Pt(2-H)2], 3a) reported previously. These complexes function as chelating metalloligands when further coordinated to a metal through each of the CH-N atoms. In the resulting complexes, each endo-cyclic N donor of the thiadiazole rings is bonded to a different metal centre. Thus, the heterodinuclear palladium/platinum complexes cis-[Pt(Ph2PN=CNN=CHS)2PdCl2]([Pt(2-H)2·PdCl2], 4a) and cis-[Pd(Ph2PN=CNN=CHS)2PtCl2]([Pd(2-H)2·PtCl2], 4b) were obtained by reaction with [PdCl2(NCPh)2] and [PtCl2(NCPh)2], respectively. In contrast, reaction of 3a with [AuCl(tht)] occurred instead at the P-bound N atom, and afforded the platinum/digold complex cis-[Pt{Ph2PN(AuCl)=CNN=CHS}2] ([Pt(2-H)2(AuCl)2], 5). For comparison, reaction of 4a with HBF4 yielded cis-[Pt(Ph2PNH=CNN=CHS)2PdCl2](BF4)2([H24a](BF4)2, 6), in which the chelated PdCl2 moiety is retained. Complexes 3b, 4a·CH2Cl2, 4b·0.5C7H8, 5·4CHCl3 and 6 have been structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Copper(II) complexes with the non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug mefenamic acid in the presence of aqua or nitrogen donor heterocyclic ligands (2,2'-bipyridine, 1,10-phenanthroline, 2,2'-bipyridylamine or pyridine) have been synthesized and characterized. The crystal structures of [(2,2'-bipyridine)bis(mefenamato)copper(II)], 2, [(2,2'-bipyridylamine)bis(mefenamato)copper(II)], 4, and [bis(pyridine)bis(methanol)bis(mefenamato)copper(II)], 5, have been determined by X-ray crystallography. UV study of the interaction of the complexes with calf-thymus DNA (CT DNA) has shown that the complexes can bind to CT DNA and [bis(aqua)tetrakis(mefenamato)dicopper(II)] exhibits the highest binding constant to CT DNA. The cyclic voltammograms of the complexes in the presence of CT DNA solution have shown that the complexes can bind to CT DNA by the intercalative binding mode verified also by DNA solution viscosity measurements. Competitive studies with ethidium bromide (EB) indicate that the complexes can displace the DNA-bound EB suggesting strong competition with EB. Mefenamic acid and its complexes exhibit good binding propensity to human or bovine serum albumin protein having relatively high binding constant values. All the compounds have been tested for their antioxidant and free radical scavenging activity as well as for their in vitro inhibitory activity against soybean lipoxygenase showing significant activity.  相似文献

The synthesis and structures of chiral N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC)-N-donor complexes of silver(I) and palladium(II) are reported. The X-ray structure of an NHC-imine silver(I) complex [((nPr)CN(CHPh))AgBr](2) exhibits an Ag(2)Br(2) dimer motif where the imine group is not coordinated to the silver atom. Reaction between 2 and [PdCl(2)(MeCN)(2)] gives the palladium(II) complex [(kappa(2)-(nPr)CN(CHPh))PdCl(2)](3) that contains a chelating NHC-imine ligand as shown by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Slow hydrolysis of related complexes [(kappa(2)-(nPr)CN(CHPh))PdCl(2)](3) and [(kappa(2)-((Ph)(2)CH)CN(CHPh))PdCl(2)](4) using triethylammonium chloride and water lead to the precipitation of single crystals of insoluble NHC-amino palladium(II) complexes [(kappa(2)-(nPr)CN(H(2)))PdCl(2)](6) and [(kappa(2)-((Ph)(2)CH)CN(H(2)))PdCl(2)](7), respectively. In the solid state, complexes 6 and 7 both exhibit intermolecular hydrogen bonding between chlorine and an amino-hydrogen atom resulting in an infinite chain structure. Substitution of an amino hydrogen for an ethyl group gives the soluble complex [(kappa(2)-(iPr)CN((H)Et))PdCl(2)](12). Reaction between two equivalents of 2 and [PdCl(2)(MeCN)(2)] gives the di-NHC complex [(kappa(1)-(nPr)CN(CHPh))(2)PdCl(2)](5) that does not contain a coordinated imine as shown by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Conproportionation between 5 and an equivalent of [PdCl(2)(MeCN)(2)] to does not occur at temperatures up to 100 degrees C in CD(3)CN.  相似文献

The coordination chemistry of the bidentate P,N hybrid ligand 2-(2'-pyridyl)-4,6-diphenylphosphinine (1) towards Pd(II) and Pt(II) has been investigated. The molecular structures of the complexes [PdCl(2)(1)] and [PtCl(2)(1)] were determined by X-ray diffraction, representing the first crystallographically characterized λ(3)-phosphinine-Pd(II) and -Pt(II) complexes. Both complexes reacted with methanol at the P=C double bond at an elevated temperature, leading to the corresponding products [MCl(2)(1H·OCH(3))]. The molecular structure of [PdCl(2)(1H·OCH(3))] was determined crystallographically and revealed that the reaction with methanol proceeds selectively by syn addition and exclusively to one of the P=C double bonds. Strikingly, the reaction of [PdCl(2)(1H·OCH(3))] with the chelating diphosphine DPEphos at room temperature in CH(2)Cl(2) led quantitatively to [PdCl(2)(DPEphos)] and phosphinine 1 by elimination of CH(3)OH and rearomatization of the phosphorus heterocycle.  相似文献

The phosphine-bridged linear trinuclear and pentanuclear complexes with Pd(II)-Pt(II)-Pd(II), Ni(II)-Pt(II)-Ni(II), and Rh(III)-Pd(II)-Pt(II)-Pd(II)-Rh(III) metal-ion sequences were almost quantitatively formed by the stepwise phosphine-bridging reaction of the terminal phosphino groups of tris[2-(diphenylphosphino)ethyl]phosphine (pp3), which is the tetradentate bound ligand of the starting Pd(II) and Ni(II) complexes. The solid-state structures of the trinuclear complexes were determined by X-ray structural analyses, and the structures of the polynuclear complexes in solution were characterized by NMR spectroscopy. The trans and cis isomers of the trinuclear and pentanuclear complexes, which arise from the geometry around the Pt(II) center, were selectively obtained simply by changing the counteranion of the starting complexes: the tetrafluoroborate salts, [MX(pp3)](BF4) [M = Pd(II) or Ni(II), X = Cl- or 4-chlorothiophenolate (4-Cltp-)], gave only the trans isomers, and the chloride salt, [PdCl(pp3)]Cl, gave only the cis isomers. The formation of the trinuclear complex with the 4-Cltp- and chloro ligands, trans-[Pt(4-Cltp)2{PdCl(pp3)}2](BF4)2, proceeded with exchange between the thiolato ligand in the starting Pd(II) complex, [Pd(4-Cltp)(pp(3))](BF4), and the chloro ligands in the starting Pt(II) complex, trans-[PtCl2(NCC6H5)2], retaining the trans geometry around the Pt(II) center. In contrast, the formation reaction between [PdCl(pp3)]Cl and trans-[PtCl2(NCC6H5)2] was accompanied by the trans-to-cis geometrical change on the Pt(II) center to give the trinuclear complex, cis-[PtCl2{PdCl(pp3)}2]Cl2. The mechanisms of these structural conversions during the formation reactions were elucidated by the 31P NMR and absorption spectral changes. The differences in the catalytic activity for the Heck reaction were discussed in connection with the bridging structures of the polynuclear complexes in the catalytic cycle.  相似文献

New thioether-phosphanes 2-RSC6H4CH2PPh2(RS-PPh2: R = Me, tBu, Ph) and the corresponding complexes [PdCl2(MeS-PPh2)], [PdCl2(tBuS-PPh2)], [PdCl2(PhS-PPh2)], [PdClMe(MeS-PPh2)] and [PtMe2(MeS-PPh2)] have been prepared, characterized and the X-ray crystal structures of all complexes determined. Whilst Pd(II) complexes of RS-PPh2 show low activity for CO/ethene copolymerisation, the complexes [PdCl2(RS-PPh2)] have been found to be very efficient for the Heck arylation of n-butylacrylate with bromobenzene under aerobic conditions.  相似文献

The coordination chemistry of the four phosphines, P{C6H3(o-CH3)(p-Z)}3 where Z = H (1a) or OMe (1b) and P{C6H3(o-CHMe2)(p-Z)}3 Z = H (1c) or OMe (1d) with platinum(II) and palladium(II) is reported. Mononuclear complexes trans-[PdCl2L2](L = 1a,b) and trans-[PtCl2L2](L = 1a-c) have been prepared and the crystal structures of trans-[PdCl2(1b)2] and trans-[PtCl2(1c)2] as their dichloromethane solvates have been determined. The structures show that in these complexes, the ligands adopt g+ g+ a conformations. Examination of the Cambridge Structural Database confirms this to be one of only two conformer types that tri-o-tolylphosphines adopt and the only viable conformer in 4 and 6 coordinate complexes. The binuclear complexes trans-[Pd2Cl4L2](L = 1c,d) are formed even when an excess of the bulky 1c,d is used in the synthesis and the crystal structure of trans-[Pd2Cl4(1c)2] as its chloroform solvate is reported. Reaction of [PtCl2(NCBu(t))2] with 1b-d in refluxing toluene gave the cycloplatinated species [Pt2Cl2(L - H)2] where L - H is phosphine 1b-d deprotonated at one of the ortho-methyl carbon atoms. Variable temperature 31P and 1H NMR spectroscopy reveals that all the complexes reported are fluxional. The processes are analysed in terms of restricted P-C and P-M rotations that give rise to diastereoisomeric rotamers because of the helically chiral orientations of the aryl substituents. For the complexes of the bulky ligands 1c,d, rotation about the P-C bond is slow on the NMR timescale even up to 75 degrees C. The crystal structure of the cyclometallated complex [Pt2Cl2(1d - H)2] has been determined.  相似文献

The novel neutral mononuclear zinc complexes with the quinolone antibacterial drugs enrofloxacin and oxolinic acid in the presence of the nitrogen donor heterocyclic ligand pyridine have been synthesized and characterized. The experimental data suggest that the quinolone ligands are on the deprotonated mode acting as bidentate ligands coordinated to the zinc(II) ion through the ketone oxygen and a carboxylato oxygen. The crystal structure of the complex bis(enrofloxacinato)bis(pyridine)zinc(II), 1, has been determined with X-ray crystallography. The biological activity of the complexes has been evaluated by examining their ability to bind to calf-thymus DNA (CT-DNA) with UV and fluorescence spectroscopies. UV spectroscopic titration studies of the interaction of the complexes with DNA have shown that they can bind to CT-DNA and the DNA binding constants have been calculated. Competitive studies with ethidium bromide (EB) have shown that the complexes exhibit the ability to displace the DNA-bound EB indicating that they can bind to DNA in strong competition with EB for the intercalative binding site.  相似文献

A series of new complexes, the blue compounds [PdCl(TeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PR(3))] (PR(3) = PEt(3), PPr(n)(3), PBu(n)(3), PMe(2)Ph, PMePh(2), PPh(3), PTol(3)) and the red [PtCl(TeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PR(3))] (PR(3) = PMe(2)Ph, PMePh(2)), were synthesized and studied spectroscopically ((1)H and (31)P NMR, UV/vis) and by cyclic voltammetry. The structures of [PdCl(TeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PPr(n)(3))] (2b) [PdCl(TeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PMePh(2))] (2e), [PtCl(TeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PMePh(2))] (2i), and the related [PtCl(SeCH(2)CH(2)NMe(2))(PEt(3))] (3) were determined crystallographically, revealing a typical pattern of trans-positioned neutral N and P donor atoms in an approximately square planar setting. The molecules 2b, 2e, and 2i were calculated by TD-DFT methodology to understand the origin of the weak (epsilon approximately 200 M(-1) cm(-1)) long-wavelength bands at about 600 nm for Pd/Te complexes such as 2b or 2e, at ca. 460 nm for Pt/Te systems such as 2i, and at about 405 nm for Pt/Se analogues such as 3. These transitions are identified as charge transfer transitions from the selenolato or tellurolato centers to unoccupied orbitals involving mainly the phosphine coligands for the Pt(II) compounds and more delocalized MOs for the Pd(II) analogues. Calculations and electrochemical data were used to rationalize the effects of metal and chalcogen variation.  相似文献

The Hg2+aq- and HgCl+aq-assisted aquations of [PtCl4]2- (1), [PtCl3(H2O)]- (2), cis-[PtCl2(H2O)2] (3), trans-[PtCl2(H2O)2] (4), [PtCl(H2O)3]+ (5), [PtCl3Me2SO]- (6), trans-[PtCl2(H2O)Me2SO] (7), cis-[PtCl(H2O)2Me2SO]+ (8), trans-[PtCl(H2O)2M32SO]+ (9), trans-[PtCl2(NH3)2] (10), and cis-[PtCl2(NH3)2] (11) have been studied at 25.0 degrees C in a 1.00 M HClO4 medium buffered with chloride, using stopped-flow and conventional spectrophotometry. Saturation kinetics and instantaneous, large UV/vis spectral changes on mixing solutions of platinum complex and mercury are ascribed to formation of transient adducts between Hg2+ and several of the platinum complexes. Depending on the limiting rate constants, these adducts are observed for a few milliseconds to a few minutes. Thermodynamic and kinetics data together with the UV/vis spectral changes and DFT calculations indicate that their structures are characterized by axial coordination of Hg to Pt with remarkably short metal-metal bonds. Stability constants for the Hg2+ adducts with complexes 1-6, 10, and 11 are (2.1 +/- 0.4) x 10(4), (8 +/- 1) x 10(2), 94 +/- 6, 13 +/- 2, 5 +/- 2, 60 +/- 6, 387 +/- 2, and 190 +/- 3 M-1, respectively, whereas adduct formation with the sulfoxide complexes 7-9 is too weak to be observed. For analogous platinum(II) complexes, the stabilities of the Pt-Hg adducts increase in the order sulfoxide < aqua < ammine complex, reflecting a sensitivity to the pi-acid strength of the Pt ligands. Rate constants for chloride transfer from HgCl+ and HgCl2 to complexes 1-11 have been determined. Second-order rate constants for activation by Hg2+ are practically the same as those for activation by HgCl+ for each of the platinum complexes studied, yet resolved contributions for Hg2+ and HgCl+ reveal that the latter does not form dinuclear adducts of any significant stability. The overall experimental evidence is consistent with a mechanism in which the accumulated Pt(II)-Hg2+ adducts are not reactive intermediates along the reaction coordinate. The aquation process occurs via weaker Pt-Cl-Hg or Pt-Cl-HgCl bridged complexes.  相似文献

Zinc complexes with the third-generation quinolone antibacterial drugs levofloxacin and sparfloxacin have been synthesized and characterized. The deprotonated quinolones act as bidentate ligands coordinated to zinc ion through the pyridone and a carboxylato oxygen atom. The crystal structures of [bis(aqua)bis(levofloxacinato)zinc(II)], 1, and [bis(sparfloxacinato)(1,10-phenanthroline)zinc(II)], 3, have been determined by X-ray crystallography. The biological activity of the complexes has been evaluated by examining their ability to bind to calf-thymus DNA (CT DNA) by UV spectroscopy and viscosity measurements. UV studies of the interaction of the complexes with DNA have revealed that they can bind to CT DNA probably by the intercalative binding mode which has also been verified by DNA solution viscosity measurements. The DNA binding constants have been also calculated. A competitive study with ethidium bromide (EB) showed that the complexes exhibit the ability to displace the DNA-bound EB indicating that they bind to DNA in strong competition with EB for the intercalative binding site. The interaction of the complexes with human and bovine serum albumin proteins has been studied by fluorescence spectroscopy showing that the complexes exhibit good binding propensity to these proteins having relatively high binding constant values. The biological properties of the complexes have been evaluated in comparison to the previously reported Zn(II) complexes with the first- and second-generation quinolones oxolinic acid and enrofloxacin.  相似文献

The neutral mononuclear nickel(II) complex with the quinolone third-generation antibacterial drug sparfloxacin in the presence of the nitrogen-donor heterocyclic ligand pyridine has been synthesized and characterized. Sparfloxacin is deprotonated acting as a bidentate ligand coordinated to the Ni(II) ion through the ketone oxygen and a carboxylato oxygen. The crystal structure of bis(sparfloxacinato)bis(pyridine)nickel(II), 1, has been determined with X-ray crystallography. The cyclic voltammograms of the complex have been recorded in dmso solution and in 1/2 dmso/buffer (containing 150 mM NaCl and 15 mM trisodium citrate at pH 7.0) solution and the corresponding redox potentials have been estimated. The biological activity of the complex has been evaluated by examining its ability to bind to calf-thymus DNA (CT DNA) with UV and fluorescence spectroscopies and cyclic voltammetry. UV study of the DNA-interaction of the complex has shown that it can bind to CT DNA and the DNA-binding constant has also been calculated. The cyclic voltammograms of the complex in the presence of CT DNA have shown that the complex can bind to CT DNA by the intercalative mode. Competitive study with ethidium bromide (EB) has shown that the complex can displace the DNA-bound EB indicating that the complex binds to DNA in strong competition with EB for the intercalative binding site.  相似文献

Six novel homoleptic palladium(II) and platinum(II) complexes of donor-substituted alkenol ligands [PyCHC(R)OH; Py = pyridine, R = CH(3), CF(3), C(2)F(5), C(3)F(7)] of the general formula M[PyCHC(R)O](2) (M = Pd, Pt) were synthesized by reacting the deprotonated ligands with PdCl(2) and K(2)PtCl(4), respectively. Molecular structures, revealed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses, showed a square-planar arrangement of ligands around palladium and platinum centers, with the pyridine-ring nitrogen atoms situated in a mutually trans position. The monomeric nature of the compounds in the solution state was confirmed by multinuclear ((1)H, (13)C, and (19)F) NMR spectroscopy. Thermal decomposition profiles recorded under a nitrogen atmosphere suggested their potential as volatile precursors to palladium and platinum materials. The volatility was increased upon elongation of the perfluoroalkyl chain, which suppressed the intermolecular interactions, as is evident in crystal packings. The volatility of these compounds was attributed to bidentate chelation of the alkenol units and cooperativity among the electron-back-donating nitrogen atom and interplay of electron-withdrawing C(x)F(y) groups, resulting in an effective steric shielding of the metal atoms.  相似文献

Treatment of the bridging bidentate 1,Z-bis(aminopropyl)-1,Z-dicarba-closo-dodecaborane(12)(1,Z-bis(aminopropyl)-1,Z-carborane) ligands of the type 1,Z-[H(2)N(CH(2))(3)](2)-1,Z-C(2)B(10)H(10)(L(1), Z= 7, 5) or (L(2), Z= 12, 6) with two equivalents of trans-[PtClI(2)(NH(3))](-), followed by halogen ligand metathesis with AgOTf and HCl((aq)) afforded the novel diplatinum(II)-amine species cis-[[PtCl(2)(NH(3))](2)L(n)](7(n= 1) or 8(n= 2), respectively). Similarly, the reaction of L(1) or L(2) with the labile trans-[PtCl(dmf)(NH(3))(2)](+) afforded trans-[[PtCl(NH(3))(2)](2)L(n)](OTf)(2)(9(n= 1) or 10(n= 2), respectively) in good yield and purity. However, isolation of the analogous 1,2-carborane complexes was not possible owing to decomposition reactions that led to extensive degradation of the carborane cage and reduction of the metal centre. The mixed dinuclear complex [cis-[PtCl(2)(NH(3))]-L(1)-trans-[PtCl(NH(3))(2)]]OTf (19) was prepared by treatment of the Boc-protected amine ligand 1-[(Boc)(2)N(CH(2))(3)]-7-[H(2)N(CH(2))(3)]-1,7-C(2)B(10)H(10)(L(3), 15) with trans-[PtCl(dmf)(NH(3))(2)](+) to yield trans-[PtCl(NH(3))(2)L(3)]OTf (16), followed by acid deprotection of the pendant amine group, complexation with trans-[PtClI(2)(NH(3))](-), and halogen ligand metathesis using AgOTf and HCl((aq)). A novel trinuclear species containing 5 was prepared by the addition of two equivalents of 15 to the labile precursor cis-[Pt(dmf)(2)(NH(3))(2)](2+) followed by acid deprotection of the pendant amine groups. Further complexation with two equivalents of trans-[PtClI(2)(NH(3))](-) followed by halogen ligand metathesis using AgOTf and HCl((aq)) afforded the triplatinum(II)-amine species [cis-[Pt(NH(3))(2)(L(1))(2)]-cis-[PtCl(2)(NH(3))](2)](OTf)(2)(23). Complexes 7-10, 19 and 23 represent the first examples of multinuclear platinum(ii)-amine derivatives containing carborane cages. Preliminary in vitro cytotoxicity studies for selected complexes are also reported.  相似文献

The cage phosphines 1,3,5,7-tetramethyl-6-phenyl-2,4,8-trioxa-6-phosphaadamantane (1a) and 1,3,5,7-tetraethyl-6-phenyl-2,4,8,trioxa-6-phosphaadamantane (1b) have been made by the acid catalysed addition of PhPH(2) to the appropriate beta-diketones; the acid used (HCl, H(3)PO(4) or H(2)SO(4)) and its concentration affect the rate and selectivity of these condensation reactions. Phosphines 1a and 1b react with [PdCl(2)(NCPh)(2)] to form complexes trans-[PdCl(2)(1a)(2)](2a) and trans-[PdCl(2)(1b)(2)](2b) as mixtures of rac and meso diastereoisomers. The platinum(II) chemistry is more complicated and when 1a or 1b is added to [PtCl(2)(cod)], equilibrium mixtures of trans-[PtCl(2)L(2)] and [Pt(2)Cl(4)L(2)](L = or ) are formed in CH(2)Cl(2) solution. Meso/rac mixtures of trans-[MCl(CO)(1a)(2)] M = Ir (6a) or Rh (7a) are formed upon treatment of MCl(3).nH(2)O with an excess of 1a and the anionic cobalt complex [NHEt(3)][CoCl(3)(1a)](9) was isolated from the product formed by CoCl(2).6H(2)O and 1a. The nu(CO) values from the IR spectra of 6a and 7a suggest that 1a resembles a phosphonite in its bonding to Rh and Ir. Crystal structures of meso-2a, meso-2b, rac-6a and 9 are reported and in each case a small intracage C-P-C angle of ca. 94 degrees is observed; this may partly explain the bonding characteristics of ligands 1a and 1b. The cone angles for 1a and 1b are similar and large (ca. 200 degrees). Rhodium complexes of ligands 1a and 1b are hydroformylation catalysts with similarly high activity to catalysts derived from phosphites. The catalysts derived from 1a and 1b gave unusually low linear selectivity in the hydroformylation of hexenes. This feature has been further exploited in quaternary-selective hydroformylations of unsaturated esters; catalysts derived from 1a give better yields and regioselectivities than any previously reported catalyst.  相似文献

A series of Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes with two N(∩)S donor ligands, 5-chloro-3-(indolin-2-one)benzothiazoline and 6-nitro-3-(indolin-2-one)benzothiazoline, have been synthesized by the reaction of metal chlorides (PdCl2 and PtCl2) with ligands in 1:2 molar ratios. All the synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, melting point determinations and a combination of electronic, IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopic techniques for structure elucidation. In order to evaluate the effect of metal ions upon chelation, both the ligands and their complexes have been screened for their antimicrobial activity against the various pathogenic bacterial and fungal strains. The metal complexes have shown to be more antimicrobial against the microbial species as compared to free ligands. One of the ligands, 5-chloro-3-(indolin-2-one)benzothiazoline and its corresponding palladium and platinum complexes have been tested for their antifertility activity in male albino rats. The marked reduction in sperm motility and density resulted in infertility by 62-90%. Significant alterations were found in biochemical parameters of reproductive organs in treated animals as compared to control group. It is concluded that all these effects may finally impair the fertility of male rats.  相似文献

Neutral dimeric metallocyclic complexes of type [M(2)(L(1))(2)B(n)] (where M = cobalt(II), nickel(II) and zinc(II), L(1) is the doubly deprotonated form of a 1,3-aryl linked bis-beta-diketone ligand of type 1,3-bis(RC(O)CH(2)C(O))C(6)H(4) (R=Me, n-Pr, t-Bu) and B is pyridine (Py) or 4-ethylpyridine (EtPy)) have been synthesised, adding to similar complexes already reported for copper(II). New lipophilic ligand derivatives with R = octyl or nonyl were also prepared for use in solvent extraction experiments. Structural, electrochemical and solvent extraction investigations of selected metal complex systems from the above series are reported, with the X-ray structures of [Co(2)(L(1))(2)(Py)(4)] x 2.25CHCl(3) x 0.5H(2)O (R=Pr), [Co(2)(L(1))(2)(EtPy)(4)] (R=t-Bu), [Ni(2)(L(1))(2)(EtPy)(4)] (R=t-Bu), [Zn(2)(L(1))(2)(EtPy)(2)] (R=Me) and [Zn(2)(L(1))(2)(EtPy)(4)] (R=t-Bu) being presented. The electrochemistry of H(2)L(1) (R=t-Bu) and of [Fe(2)(L(1))(3)], [Co(2)(L(1))(2)(Py)(4)], [Ni(2)(L(1))(2)(Py)(4)], [Cu(2)(L(1))(2)] and [Zn(2)(L(1))(2)(Py)(2)] has been examined. Oxidative processes for the complexes are dominantly irreversible, but several examples of quasireversible behaviour were observed and support the assignment of an anodic process, seen between +1.0 and +1.6 V, as a metal-centred oxidation. The reduction processes for the respective metal complexes are not simple, and irreversible in most cases. Solvent extraction studies (water/chloroform) involving variable concentrations of metal, bis-beta-diketone and heterocyclic base have been performed for cobalt(II) and zinc(II) using a radiotracer technique to probe the stoichiometries of the extracted species in each case. Synergism was observed when 4-ethylpyridine was added to the bis-beta-diketone ligand in the chloroform phase. Competitive extraction studies show a clear uptake preference for copper(II) over cobalt(II), nickel(II), zinc(II) and cadmium(II).  相似文献

A new series of transition metal complexes of Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Mn(II) and Cd(II) were prepared from the ligand of 5‐(4‐benzenesulfonic acid azo)‐2‐thioxo‐4‐thiazolidinone (H2L). The M(II) complexes were structurally elucidated by elemental analysis, infrared spectra, spectral studies, thermal analysis, magnetic measurements and X‐ray diffraction analysis. Elemental analysis and IR result suggested the ligand was bonded to the metal ions in monobasic/neutral bidentate through the nitrogen atom of the hydrazone group and oxygen atom of carbonyl group. The bond length, bond angle, HOMO, LUMO and quantum chemical parameters were calculated to confirm the geometry of the ligand and the M(II) complexes. In vitro antimicrobial behavior of ligand (H2L) and its M(II) complexes (1‐5) was screened with targeted bacterial and fungal strains. Spectroscopic (UV‐vis) technique was employed in order to study the binding mode and binding strength of the ligand (H2L) and its M(II) complexes to Calf thymus DNA (CT‐DNA). Intercalation is the most possible mode of interaction of the ligand (H2L) and its M(II) complexes with CT‐DNA and the determined binding constants. Molecular docking was used to predict the binding between the starts (4‐aminobenzenesulfonic acid (start 1) and 2‐thioxo‐4‐thiazolidinone (start 2)) and tautomers (A‐C) of ligand (H2L) with the receptors of prostate cancer mutant (PDB code: 2Q7K) and breast cancer mutant (PDB code: 3HB5).  相似文献

A novel naringenin Schiff base ligand (1,2-di(4'-iminonaringenin)ethane, H6L) and its three transition metal complexes [Cu(II) complex (1), Zn(II) complex (2), and Ni(II) complex (3)] have been prepared and characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, molar conductivity, 1H-NMR, mass spectra, UV-vis spectra, and IR spectra. The DNA-binding properties of the ligand and its complexes have been investigated by absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, ethidium bromide (EB) displacement experiments, and viscosity measurement. The results indicated that the ligand and its complexes can bind to DNA. The binding affinity of the Cu(II) complex (1) is higher than that of the ligand and the other two complexes. The intrinsic binding constant (Kb) of the complex (1) is 3.3x10(6). In addition, the suppression ratio for O2-. and HO. was determined. The 50% inhibition obtained for the ligand and its three complexes demonstrates that, compared to the ligand, the complexes exhibit higher antioxidative activity in the suppression of O2-. and HO..  相似文献

The metathetical reactions of the lithium derivative of the monoanion [((t)BuN)(S)P(mu-N(t)Bu)(2)P(S)(NH(t)Bu)](-) (L) with CuCl/PPh(3), NiCl(2)(PEt(3))(2), PdCl(2)L'(2) (L' = PhCN, PPh(3)), and PtCl(2)(PEt(3))(2) produced the complexes (PPh(3))CuL (5), NiL(2) (6), PdCl(L)(PPh(3)) (7), PdL(2) (8), and Pt(PEt(3))(2)[((t)BuN)(S)P(mu-N(t)Bu)(2)P(S)(N(t)Bu)] (9). The X-ray structures of 5, 6, and 8 reveal a N,S-coordination for the chelating monoanion L with the metal centers in trigonal planar, tetrahedral, and square planar environments, respectively. By contrast, the dianionic ligand in the square planar Pt(II) complex 9 is S,S'-chelated to the metal center. (31)P NMR spectra readily distinguish between the N,S and S,S' bonding modes, and, on that basis, N,S chelation is inferred for the Pd(II) complex 7.
