The dynamics of two nanospheres nonlinearly coupling with non-Markovian reservoir is investigated. A master equation of the two nanospheres is derived by employing quantum state diffusion method. It is shown that the nonlinear coupling can improve the non-Markovianity. Due to the sharing of the common non-Markovian environment, the state transfer between the two nanospheres can be realized. The entanglement and the squeezing of the individual mode, as well as the jointed two-mode are analyzed. The present system can be realized by trapping two nanospheres in a wideband cavity, which might provide a method to study adjustable non-Markovian dynamics of mechanical motion.  相似文献

We theoretically study the entanglement dynamics of two coupled spins in a spin star environment, whose elements are coupled to local bosonic baths. It is shown that the dynamics of the entanglement depends on the initial state of the system and the coupling strength between the two coupled central spins, the interactions between the central system and the environment, as well as interactions between the bath spin and the reservoir. We also investigate the effect of non-Markovian dynamics in contrast with the Markovian case. It is found that the non-Markovian dynamics has a significant effect on the disentanglement between the two central spins.  相似文献

We investigate the non-Markovian effects on the entanglement transfer to the distant non-interacting atom qubits, which are embedded in a coupled superconducting resonator. The master equation governing the dynamics of the system is derived by the non-Markovian quantum state diffusion(NMQSD) method. Based on the solution, we show that the memory effect of the environment can lead to higher entanglement revival and make the entanglement last for a longer time. That is to say, the non-Markovian environment can enhance the entanglement transfer. It is also found that the maximum entanglement transferred to distant atoms can be modified by appropriately selecting the frequency of the modulated intercavity coupling. Moreover, with the initial anti-correlated state, the entanglement between the cavity fields can be almost completely transferred to the separated atoms. Lastly, we show that the memory effect has a significant impact on the generation of entanglement from the initial non-entangled states.  相似文献

More recently, K. Berrada [Annals of Physics 340 (2014) 60-69] [1] studied the geometric phase of a two-level atom system driven by a phase noise laser under non-Markovian dynamics in terms of different parameters involved in the whole system, and collapse and revival phenomena were found for large class of states. In this paper, using this noise effect, we study the quantum fisher information (QFI) for a two-level atom system driven by a phase noise laser under non-Markovian dynamics. A new quantity, called QFI flow is used to characterize the damping effect and unveil a fundamental connection between non-Markovian behavior and dynamics of system–environment correlations under phase noise laser. It is shown that QFI flow has disappeared suddenly followed by a sudden birth depending on the kind of the environment damping. QFI flow provides an indicator to characterize the dissipative quantum system’s decoherence by analyzing the behavior of the dynamical non-Markovian coefficients.  相似文献

A procedure that allows us to obtain the dynamics of N independent bodies each locally interacting with its own reservoir is presented. It relies on the knowledge of single-body dynamics and it is valid for any form of environment noise. It is then applied to the study of non-Markovian dynamics of two independent qubits, each locally interacting with a zero-temperature reservoir. It is shown that, although no interaction is present or mediated between the qubits, there is a revival of their entanglement, after a finite period of time of its complete disappearance.  相似文献

The effect of the non-Markovian dynamics on the violation of Bell inequalities for a generic tripartite entangled state has been investigated. Our results imply that the dynamics of Bell violation depends not only on the coupling strengths between the system and the environment but also on the rotation angles. Under both the strong and weak couplings, the Bell nonlocality can be eliminated by the decoherence induced by the environment in finite time when the rotation angles take certain values.  相似文献

We provide the exact analytic solution of the stochastic Schr?dinger equation describing a harmonic oscillator interacting with a non-Markovian and dissipative environment. This result represents an arrival point in the study of non-Markovian dynamics via stochastic differential equations. It is also one of the few exactly solvable models for infinite-dimensional systems. We compute the Green's function; in the case of a free particle and with an exponentially correlated noise, we discuss the evolution of Gaussian wave functions.  相似文献

A generalization of the standard model of Dirac particle in external electromagnetic field is proposed. In the generalization we take into account interactions of this particle with environment, which is described by the memory function. This function takes into account that the behavior of the particle at proper time can depend not only at the present time, but also on the history of changes on finite time interval. In this case the Dirac particle can be considered an open quantum system with non-Markovian dynamics. The violation of the semigroup property of dynamic maps is a characteristic property of dynamics with memory. We use the Fock-Schwinger proper time method and derivatives of non-integer orders with respect to proper time. The fractional differential equation, which describes the Dirac particle with memory, and the expression of its exact solution are suggested. The asymptotic behavior of the proposed solutions is described.  相似文献

We study the dynamics of relaxation and thermalization in an exactly solvable model of a particle interacting with a harmonic oscillator bath. Our goal is to understand the effects of non-Markovian processes on the relaxational dynamics and to compare the exact evolution of the distribution function with approximate Markovian and non-Markovian quantum kinetics. There are two different cases that are studied in detail: (i) a quasiparticle (resonance) when the renormalized frequency of the particle is above the frequency threshold of the bath and (ii) a stable renormalized "particle" state below this threshold. The time evolution of the occupation number for the particle is evaluated exactly using different approaches that yield to complementary insights. The exact solution allows us to investigate the concept of the formation time of a quasiparticle and to study the difference between the relaxation of the distribution of bare particles and that of quasiparticles. For the case of quasiparticles, the exact occupation number asymptotically tends to a statistical equilibrium distribution that differs from a simple Bose-Einstein form as a result of off-shell processes whereas in the stable particle case, the distribution of particles does not thermalize with the bath. We derive a non-Markovian quantum kinetic equation which resums the perturbative series and includes off-shell effects. A Markovian approximation that includes off-shell contributions and the usual Boltzmann equation (energy conserving) are obtained from the quantum kinetic equation in the limit of wide separation of time scales upon different coarse-graining assumptions. The relaxational dynamics predicted by the non-Markovian, Markovian, and Boltzmann approximations are compared to the exact result. The Boltzmann approach is seen to fail in the case of wide resonances and when threshold and renormalization effects are important.  相似文献

The squeezing dynamics of two independent two-level atoms off-resonantly coupled to two non-Markovian reservoirs is studied by the time-convolutionless master-equation approach. We find that the squeezing of two atoms is dependent on both detuning and the non-Markovian effect. Our results show that, in the non-Markovian regime, the bigger the detuning and the stronger the non-Markovian effect are, the larger the strength of the squeezing is. And the squeezing of two atoms can be effectively protected for a long time when both the non-Markovian effect and detuning are present simultaneously. The physical mechanism is that the detuning not only can promote the feedback of information from the environment into the atomic system but also can greatly suppress the atomic decay in the non-Markovian regime.  相似文献

We present a detailed study of the entanglement dynamics of a two-qubit system coupled to independent non-Markovian environments, employing hierarchy equations. This recently developed theoretical treatment can conveniently solve non-Markovian problems. We concentrate on calculating the death and rebirth time points of the entanglement to obtain a general view of the concurrence curve and explore the behavior of entanglement dynamics with respect to the coupling strength, the characteristic frequency of the noise bath and the environment temperature.  相似文献

We discuss the quantum correlation dynamics of two qubits controlled through the application of ππ-pulses under classical dephasing non-Markovian environment. It is shown that the quantum discord (QD) and one-norm geometric quantum discord (one-norm GQD) between the two qubits, which are prepared initially in the three-parameter-XX-type quantum states, depend strongly on non-Markovian properties and the time difference between adjacent pulses. The freezing time of discord and one-norm GQD can be lengthened for appropriate pulse separate time and pulse numbers. And the freezing time of one-norm GQD is longer slightly than QD for both Markovian and non-Markovian cases. What is more, we find that double sudden changes of one-norm GQD can appear only for some initial parameters when ππ-pulses are applied.  相似文献

Computational comparison is presented between the scattered wave packet formalism and the non-Markovian time-dependent Schrödinger equation (TDSE). These two approaches have been developed to deal with open quantum systems. We employ these methods to study the dynamics of a Gaussian wave packet scattering from the Eckart barrier. It is shown that strongly oscillatory Green functions required in the integration of the non-Markovian TDSE significantly increase computational effort even for one-dimensional problems. Computational results indicate that the scattered wave packet formalism can achieve higher accuracy and can be several orders of magnitude faster than the integration of the non-Markovian TDSE.  相似文献

Memory effect of non-Markovian dynamics in open quantum systems is often believed to be beneficial for quantum information processing. In this work, we employ an experimentally controllable two-photon open system, with one photon experiencing a dephasing environment and the other being free from noise, to show that non-Markovian effect may also have a negative impact on quantum tasks such as remote state preparation: For a certain period of controlled time interval, stronger non-Markovian effect yields lower fidelity of remote state preparation, as opposed to the common wisdom that more information leads to better performance. As a comparison, a positive non-Markovian effect on the RSP fidelity with another typical non-Markovian noise is analyzed. Consequently, the observed dual character of non-Markovian effect will be of great importance in the field of open systems engineering.  相似文献

We investigate the reduced dynamics of a central spin coupled to a spin environment with non-uniform coupling. Through using the method of time-dependent density-matrix renormalization group (t-DMRG), we nonperturbatively show the dissipative dynamics of the central spin beyond the case of uniform coupling between the central spin and the environment spins. It is shown that only when the system-environment coupling is weak enough, the central spin system shows Markovian effect and will finally reach the steady state; otherwise, the reduced dynamics is non-Markovian and exhibits a quasi-periodic oscillation. The frequency spectrum and the correlation between the central spin system and the environment are also studied to elucidate the dissipative dynamics of the central spin system for different coupling strengths.  相似文献

For a system of charged Fermions interacting with an electromagnetic field, we derive a non-Markovian master equation in the second-order approximation of the weak dissipative coupling. A complex dissipative environment including Fermions, Bosons and the free electromagnetic field is taken into account. Besides the well-known Markovian term of Lindblad’s form, that describes the decay of the system by correlated transitions of the system and environment particles, this equation includes new Markovian and non-Markovian terms proceeding from the fluctuations of the self-consistent field of the environment. These terms describe fluctuations of the energy levels, transitions among these levels stimulated by the fluctuations of the self-consistent field of the environment, and the influence of the time-evolution of the environment on the system dynamics. We derive a complementary master equation describing the environment dynamics correlated with the dynamics of the system. As an application, we obtain non-Markovian Maxwell-Bloch equations and calculate the absorption spectrum of a field propagation mode transversing an array of two-level quantum dots.  相似文献

The non-Markovian dynamics of a three-level quantum system coupled to a bosonic environment is a difficult problem due to the lack of an exact dynamic equation such as a master equation. We present for the first time an exact quantum trajectory approach to a dissipative three-level model. We have established a convolutionless stochastic Schr?dinger equation called the time-local quantum state diffusion (QSD) equation without any approximations, in particular, without Markov approximation. Our exact time-local QSD equation opens a new avenue for exploring quantum dynamics for a higher dimensional quantum system coupled to a non-Markovian environment.  相似文献
