The crystal structures of two symmetrical pyridine‐2‐carboxamides, namely N,N′‐(propane‐1,3‐diyl)bis(pyridine‐2‐carboxamide), C15H16N4O2, (I), and N,N′‐(butane‐1,4‐diyl)bis(pyridine‐2‐carboxamide), C16H18N4O2, (II), exhibit extended hydrogen‐bonded sequences involving their amide groups. In (I), conventional bifurcated amide–carbonyl (N—H)...O hydrogen bonding favours the formation of one‐dimensional chains, the axes of which run parallel to [001]. Unconventional bifurcated pyridine–carbonyl C—H...O hydrogen bonding links adjacent one‐dimensional chains to form a `porous' three‐dimensional lattice with interconnected, yet unfilled, voids of 60.6 (2) Å3 which combine into channels that run parallel to, and include, [001]. 4% of the unit‐cell volume of (I) is vacant. Compound (II) adopts a Z‐shaped conformation with inversion symmetry, and exhibits an extended structure comprising one‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded chains along [100] in which individual molecules are linked by complementary pairs of amide N—H...O hydrogen bonds. These hydrogen‐bonded chains interlock viaπ–π interactions between pyridine rings of neighbouring molecules to form sheets parallel with (010); each sheet is one Z‐shaped molecule thick and separated from the next sheet by the b‐axis dimension [7.2734 (4) Å].  相似文献

The structures of two ammonium salts of 3‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonic acid (5‐sulfosalicylic acid, 5‐SSA) have been determined at 200 K. In the 1:1 hydrated salt, ammonium 3‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate monohydrate, NH4+·C7H5O6S·H2O, (I), the 5‐SSA monoanions give two types of head‐to‐tail laterally linked cyclic hydrogen‐bonding associations, both with graph‐set R44(20). The first involves both carboxylic acid O—H...Owater and water O—H...Osulfonate hydrogen bonds at one end, and ammonium N—H...Osulfonate and N—H...Ocarboxy hydrogen bonds at the other. The second association is centrosymmetric, with end linkages through water O—H...Osulfonate hydrogen bonds. These conjoined units form stacks down c and are extended into a three‐dimensional framework structure through N—H...O and water O—H...O hydrogen bonds to sulfonate O‐atom acceptors. Anhydrous triammonium 3‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate 3‐carboxylato‐4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonate, 3NH4+·C7H4O6S2−·C7H5O6S, (II), is unusual, having both dianionic 5‐SSA2− and monoanionic 5‐SSA species. These are linked by a carboxylic acid O—H...O hydrogen bond and, together with the three ammonium cations (two on general sites and the third comprising two independent half‐cations lying on crystallographic twofold rotation axes), give a pseudo‐centrosymmetric asymmetric unit. Cation–anion hydrogen bonding within this layered unit involves a cyclic R33(8) association which, together with extensive peripheral N—H...O hydrogen bonding involving both sulfonate and carboxy/carboxylate acceptors, gives a three‐dimensional framework structure. This work further demonstrates the utility of the 5‐SSA monoanion for the generation of stable hydrogen‐bonded crystalline materials, and provides the structure of a dianionic 5‐SSA2− species of which there are only a few examples in the crystallographic literature.  相似文献

The structures of two hydrated salts of 4‐aminophenylarsonic acid (p‐arsanilic acid), namely ammonium 4‐aminophenylarsonate monohydrate, NH4+·C6H7AsNO3·H2O, (I), and the one‐dimensional coordination polymer catena‐poly[[(4‐aminophenylarsonato‐κO)diaquasodium]‐μ‐aqua], [Na(C6H7AsNO3)(H2O)3]n, (II), have been determined. In the structure of the ammonium salt, (I), the ammonium cations, arsonate anions and water molecules interact through inter‐species N—H...O and arsonate and water O—H...O hydrogen bonds, giving the common two‐dimensional layers lying parallel to (010). These layers are extended into three dimensions through bridging hydrogen‐bonding interactions involving the para‐amine group acting both as a donor and an acceptor. In the structure of the sodium salt, (II), the Na+ cation is coordinated by five O‐atom donors, one from a single monodentate arsonate ligand, two from monodentate water molecules and two from bridging water molecules, giving a very distorted square‐pyramidal coordination environment. The water bridges generate one‐dimensional chains extending along c and extensive interchain O—H...O and N—H...O hydrogen‐bonding interactions link these chains, giving an overall three‐dimensional structure. The two structures reported here are the first reported examples of salts of p‐arsanilic acid.  相似文献

The crystal structure of ammonium rubidium nonaoxotetratellurate(IV) dihydrate has been studied as a function of pressure up to 7.40 GPa. The ambient‐pressure structure is characterized by the co‐existence of three different Te—O polyhedra (TeO3, TeO4 and TeO5), which are connected to form layers. NH4+, H2O and Rb+ are incorporated between the layers. Both the Rb1 position, which is located on a twofold axis, and the Rb2 position are partially occupied. The three different types of coordination polyhedra around Te4+ are stable up to at least 5.05 GPa. No phase transition is observed. The fit of the unit‐cell volume as a function of pressure gives a zero‐pressure bulk modulus of 34 (1) GPa with a zero‐pressure volume of V0 = 2620 (4) Å3 [B′ = 1.4 (2)].  相似文献

The three isostructural compounds butylammonium hexachloridotin(IV), pentylammonium hexachloridotin(IV) and hexylammonium hexachloridotin(IV), (CnH2n+1NH3)2[SnCl6], with n = 4, 5 and 6, respectively, crystallize as inorganic–organic hybrids. As such, the structures consist of layers of [SnCl6]2− octahedra, separated by hydrocarbon layers of interdigitated butylammonium, pentylammonium or hexylammonium cations. Corrugated layers of cations alternate with tin(IV) chloride layers. The asymmetric unit in each compound consists of an anionic component comprising one Sn and two Cl atoms on a mirror plane, and two Cl atoms in general positions; the two cations lie on another mirror plane. Application of the mirror symmetry generates octahedral coordination around the Sn atom. All compounds exhibit bifurcated and simple hydrogen‐bonding interactions between the ammonium groups and the Cl atoms, with little variation in the hydrogen‐bonding geometries.  相似文献

The structures of 4‐nitrobenzene‐1,2‐diamine [C6H7N3O2, (I)], 2‐amino‐5‐nitroanilinium chloride [C6H8N3O2+·Cl, (II)] and 2‐amino‐5‐nitroanilinium bromide monohydrate [C6H8N3O2+·Br·H2O, (III)] are reported and their hydrogen‐bonded structures described. The amine group para to the nitro group in (I) adopts an approximately planar geometry, whereas the meta amine group is decidedly pyramidal. In the hydrogen halide salts (II) and (III), the amine group meta to the nitro group is protonated. Compound (I) displays a pleated‐sheet hydrogen‐bonded two‐dimensional structure with R22(14) and R44(20) rings. The sheets are joined by additional hydrogen bonds, resulting in a three‐dimensional extended structure. Hydrohalide salt (II) has two formula units in the asymmetric unit that are related by a pseudo‐inversion center. The dominant hydrogen‐bonding interactions involve the chloride ion and result in R42(8) rings linked to form a ladder‐chain structure. The chains are joined by N—H...Cl and N—H...O hydrogen bonds to form sheets parallel to (010). In hydrated hydrohalide salt (III), bromide ions are hydrogen bonded to amine and ammonium groups to form R42(8) rings. The water behaves as a double donor/single acceptor and, along with the bromide anions, forms hydrogen bonds involving the nitro, amine, and ammonium groups. The result is sheets parallel to (001) composed of alternating R55(15) and R64(24) rings. Ammonium N—H...Br interactions join the sheets to form a three‐dimensional extended structure. Energy‐minimized structures obtained using DFT and MP2 calculations are consistent with the solid‐state structures. Consistent with (II) and (III), calculations show that protonation of the amine group meta to the nitro group results in a structure that is about 1.5 kJ mol−1 more stable than that obtained by protonation of the para‐amine group. DFT calculations on single molecules and hydrogen‐bonded pairs of molecules based on structural results obtained for (I) and for 3‐nitrobenzene‐1,2‐diamine, (IV) [Betz & Gerber (2011). Acta Cryst. E 67 , o1359] were used to estimate the strength of the N—H...O(nitro) interactions for three observed motifs. The hydrogen‐bonding interaction between the pairs of molecules examined was found to correspond to 20–30 kJ mol−1.  相似文献

The structures of ammonium 3,5‐dinitrobenzoate, NH4+·C7H3N2O6, (I), ammonium 4‐nitrobenzoate dihydrate, NH4+·C7H4NO4·2H2O, (II), and ammonium 2,4‐dichlorobenzoate hemihydrate, NH4+·C7H3Cl2O2·0.5H2O, (III), have been determined and their hydrogen‐bonded structures are described. All three salts form hydrogen‐bonded polymeric structures, viz. three‐dimensional in (I) and two‐dimensional in (II) and (III). With (I), a primary cation–anion cyclic association is formed [graph set R43(10)] through N—H...O hydrogen bonds, involving a carboxylate group with both O atoms contributing to the hydrogen bonds (denoted O,O′‐carboxylate) on one side and a carboxylate group with one O atom involved in two hydrogen bonds (denoted O‐carboxylate) on the other. Structure extension involves N—H...O hydrogen bonds to both carboxylate and nitro O‐atom acceptors. With structure (II), the primary inter‐species interactions and structure extension into layers lying parallel to (001) are through conjoined cyclic hydrogen‐bonding motifs, viz.R43(10) (one cation, an O,O′‐carboxylate group and two water molecules) and centrosymmetric R42(8) (two cations and two water molecules). The structure of (III) also has conjoined R43(10) and centrosymmetric R42(8) motifs in the layered structure but these differ in that the first motif involves one cation, an O,O′‐carboxylate group, an O‐carboxylate group and one water molecule, and the second motif involves two cations and two O‐carboxylate groups. The layers lie parallel to (100). The structures of salt hydrates (II) and (III), displaying two‐dimensional layered arrays through conjoined hydrogen‐bonded nets, provide further illustration of a previously indicated trend among ammonium salts of carboxylic acids, but the anhydrous three‐dimensional structure of (I) is inconsistent with that trend.  相似文献

In (1,4,7,10,13,16‐hexaoxacyclooctadecane)rubidium hexachloridoantimonate(V), [Rb(C12H24O6)][SbCl6], (1), and its isomorphous caesium {(1,4,7,10,13,16‐hexaoxacyclooctadecane)caesium hexachloridoantimonate(V), [Cs(C12H24O6)][SbCl6]}, (2), and ammonium {ammonium hexachloridoantimonate(V)–1,4,7,10,13,16‐hexaoxacyclooctadecane (1/1), (NH4)[SbCl6]·C12H24O6}, (3), analogues, the hexachloridoantimonate(V) anions and 18‐crown‐6 molecules reside across axes passing through the Sb atoms and the centroids of the 18‐crown‐6 groups, both of which coincide with centres of inversion. The Rb+ [in (1)], Cs+ [in (2)] and NH4+ [in (3)] cations are situated inside the cavity of the 18‐crown‐6 ring; they are situated on axes and are equally disordered about centres of inversion, deviating from the centroid of the 18‐crown‐6 molecule by 0.4808 (13), 0.9344 (7) and 0.515 (8) Å, respectively. Interaction of the ammonium cation and the 18‐crown‐6 group is supported by three equivalent hydrogen bonds [N...O = 2.928 (3) Å and N—H...O = 162°]. The centrosymmetric structure of [Cs(18‐crown‐6)]+, with the large Cs+ cation approaching the centre of the ligand cavity, is unprecedented and accompanied by unusually short Cs—O bonds [2.939 (2) and 3.091 (2) Å]. For all three compounds, the [M(18‐crown‐6)]+ cations and [SbCl6] anions afford linear stacks along the c axis, with the cationic complexes embedded between pairs of inversion‐related anions.  相似文献

In the title compound, [Ni(C14H8N2O5)(H2O)2]n, the NiII cation is six‐coordinate with a slightly distorted octahedral coordination geometry and the 4‐(isonicotinamido)phthalate ligand links the NiII centres into a three‐dimensional structure with sra topology. The structure is also stabilized by N—H...O hydrogen bonding between the uncoordinated amide groups of the ligand and extensive O—H...O hydrogen bonding between the two coordinated water molecules. The magnetic and thermal stability properties of the title compound are also discussed.  相似文献

In the title compound, (C6H8N4)[AuCl4]Cl, the 4,4′‐bi(1H‐pyrazol‐2‐ium) dication, denoted [H2bpz]2+, is situated across a centre of inversion, the [AuCl4] anion lies across a twofold axis passing through Cl—Au—Cl, and the Cl anion resides on a twofold axis. Conventional N—H...Cl hydrogen bonding [N...Cl = 3.109 (3) and 3.127 (3) Å, and N—H...Cl = 151 and 155°] between [H2bpz]2+ cations (square‐planar node) and chloride anions (tetrahedral node), as complementary donors and acceptors of four hydrogen bonds, leads to a three‐dimensional binodal four‐connected framework with cooperite topology (three‐letter notation pts). The framework contains channels along the c axis housing one‐dimensional stacks of square‐planar [AuCl4] anions [Au—Cl = 2.2895 (10)–2.2903 (16) Å; interanion Au...Cl contact = 3.489 (2) Å], which are excluded from primary hydrogen bonding with the [H2bpz]2+ tectons.  相似文献

4‐Nitrobenzoic acid (PNBA) has proved to be a useful ligand for the preparation of metal complexes but the known structures of the alkali metal salts of PNBA do not include the rubidium salt. The structures of the isomorphous potassium and rubidium polymeric coordination complexes with PNBA, namely poly[μ2‐aqua‐aqua‐μ3‐(4‐nitrobenzoato)‐potassium], [K(C7H4N2O2)(H2O)2]n, (I), and poly[μ3‐aqua‐aqua‐μ5‐(4‐nitrobenzoato)‐rubidium], [Rb(C7H4N2O2)(H2O)2]n, (II), have been determined. In (I), the very distorted KO6 coordination sphere about the K+ centres in the repeat unit comprise two bridging nitro O‐atom donors, a single bridging carboxylate O‐atom donor and two water molecules, one of which is bridging. In Rb complex (II), the same basic MO6 coordination is found in the repeat unit, but it is expanded to RbO9 through a slight increase in the accepted Rb—O bond‐length range and includes an additional Rb—Ocarboxylate bond, completing a bidentate O,O′‐chelate interaction, and additional bridging Rb—Onitro and Rb—Owater bonds. The comparative K—O and Rb—O bond‐length ranges are 2.7352 (14)–3.0051 (14) and 2.884 (2)–3.182 (2) Å, respectively. The structure of (II) is also isomorphous, as well as isostructural, with the known structure of the nine‐coordinate caesium 4‐nitrobenzoate analogue, (III), in which the Cs—O bond‐length range is 3.047 (4)–3.338 (4) Å. In all three complexes, common basic polymeric extensions are found, including two different centrosymmetric bridging interactions through both water and nitro groups, as well as extensions along c through the para‐related carboxylate group, giving a two‐dimensional structure in (I). In (II) and (III), three‐dimensional structures are generated through additional bridges involving the nitro and water O atoms. In all three structures, the two water molecules are involved in similar intra‐polymer O—H...O hydrogen‐bonding interactions to both carboxylate and water O‐atom acceptors. A comparison of the varied coordination behaviour of the full set of Li–Cs salts with 4‐nitrobenzoic acid is also made.  相似文献

The structures of 3‐amino‐1,2R,4S,5‐tetraammoniopentane tetrachloride monohydrate, C5H21N54+·4Cl?·H2O, and 1,2R,3,4S,5‐pentaammoniopentane tetrachlorozincate trichloride monohydrate, (C5H22N5)[ZnCl4]Cl3·H2O, have been determined from single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction data. Both compounds show a complex network of N—H?O, O—H?Cl and N—H?Cl hydrogen bonds. There are a total of 14 H atoms of the tetra‐cation and 15 H atoms of the penta‐cation available for hydrogen bonding. However, due to the particular shape of the primary linear polyammonium cations, only a certain number of H atoms can be involved in hydrogen‐bond formation. It is further shown that hydrogen bonding has an influence on the conformation of such alkylammonium cations.  相似文献

Alternating C6H14N22+ and [BeF4]2? units within the ac plane of 1,4‐diazoniabicyclo[2.2.2]octane tetrafluoroberyllium hemihydrate, (C6H14N2)[BeF4]·0.5H2O, combine to form double chains via hydrogen bonding. These double chains connect through bifurcated hydrogen bonds to water molecules, which lie on twofold axes, producing a two‐dimensional sheet. Very weak hydrogen‐bond interactions, along the b axis, join the sheets to produce a three‐dimensional network.  相似文献

()‐Tartaric acid, C4H6O6, crystallized from ethanol in space group P. The structure is characterized by five hydrogen bonds, including the formation of a centrosymmetric carboxylic acid dimer which forms infinite chains along the body diagonal. These chains form sheets via hydrogen bonding between α‐hydroxyl groups. The sheets are connected through a bifurcated hydrogen bond. Structural comparisons are made with homochiral (2R,3R)‐(+)‐tartaric acid.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the title salt, C5H16N22+·2Br, with Z = 12 and more unusually Z′ = 3, forms part of a small group of crystal structures in the Cambridge Structural Database that are ammonium bromide salts. One of the diaminium cation chains in the asymmetric unit exhibits positional disorder, which was modelled using a suitable disorder model. This compound also exhibits organic–inorganic layering in its packing arrangement that is typical of this class of compound. An extensive complex three‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonding network is also identified. The hydrogen bonds evident in this crystal structure were identified as being most likely strong charge‐assisted hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The morpholinium (tetrahydro‐2H‐1,4‐oxazin‐4‐ium) cation has been used as a counter‐ion in both inorganic and organic salt formation and particularly in metal complex stabilization. To examine the influence of interactive substituent groups in the aromatic rings of benzoic acids upon secondary structure generation, the anhydrous salts of morpholine with salicylic acid, C4H10NO+·C7H5O3, (I), 3,5‐dinitrosalicylic acid, C4H10NO+·C7H3N2O7, (II), 3,5‐dinitrobenzoic acid, C4H10NO+·C7H3N2O6, (III), and 4‐nitroanthranilic acid, C4H10NO+·C7H5N2O4, (IV), have been prepared and their hydrogen‐bonded crystal structures are described. In the crystal structures of (I), (III) and (IV), the cations and anions are linked by moderately strong N—H…Ocarboxyl hydrogen bonds, but the secondary structure propagation differs among the three, viz. one‐dimensional chains extending along [010] in (I), a discrete cyclic heterotetramer in (III), and in (IV), a heterotetramer with amine N—H…O hydrogen‐bond extensions along b, giving a two‐layered ribbon structure. With the heterotetramers in both (III) and (IV), the ion pairs are linked though inversion‐related N—H…Ocarboxylate hydrogen bonds, giving cyclic R44(12) motifs. With (II), in which the anion is a phenolate rather than a carboxylate, the stronger assocation is through a symmetric lateral three‐centre cyclic R12(6) N—H…(O,O′) hydrogen‐bonding linkage involving the phenolate and nitro O‐atom acceptors of the anion, with extension through a weaker O—H…Ocarboxyl hydrogen bond. This results in a one‐dimensional chain structure extending along [100]. In the structures of two of the salts [i.e. (II) and (IV)], there are also π–π ring interactions, with ring‐centroid separations of 3.5516 (9) and 3.7700 (9) Å in (II), and 3.7340 (9) Å in (IV).  相似文献

(4‐Aminophenyl)arsonic acid (p‐arsanilic acid) is used as an antihelminth in veterinary applications and was earlier used in the monosodium salt dihydrate form as the antisyphilitic drug atoxyl. Examples of complexes with this acid are rare. The structures of the alkaline earth metal (Mg, Ca, Sr and Ba) complexes with (4‐aminophenyl)arsonic acid (p‐arsanilic acid) have been determined, viz. hexaaquamagnesium bis[hydrogen (4‐aminophenyl)arsonate] tetrahydrate, [Mg(H2O)6](C6H7AsNO3)·4H2O, (I), catena‐poly[[[diaquacalcium]‐bis[μ2‐hydrogen (4‐aminophenyl)arsonato‐κ2O :O ′]‐[diaquacalcium]‐bis[μ2‐hydrogen (4‐aminophenyl)arsonato‐κ2O :O ]] dihydrate], {[Ca(C6H7AsNO3)2(H2O)2]·2H2O}n , (II), catena‐poly[[triaquastrontium]‐bis[μ2‐hydrogen (4‐aminophenyl)arsonato‐κ2O :O ′]], [Sr(C6H7AsNO3)2(H2O)3]n , (III), and catena‐poly[[triaquabarium]‐bis[μ2‐hydrogen (4‐aminophenyl)arsonato‐κ2O :O ′]], [Ba(C6H7AsNO3)2(H2O)3]n , (IV). In the structure of magnesium salt (I), the centrosymmetric octahedral [Mg(H2O)6]2+ cation, the two hydrogen p‐arsanilate anions and the four water molecules of solvation form a three‐dimensional network structure through inter‐species O—H and N—H hydrogen‐bonding interactions with water and arsonate O‐atom and amine N‐atom acceptors. In one‐dimensional coordination polymer (II), the distorted octahedral CaO6 coordination polyhedron comprises two trans‐related water molecules and four arsonate O‐atom donors from bridging hydrogen arsanilate ligands. One bridging extension is four‐membered via a single O atom and the other is eight‐membered via O :O ′‐bridging, both across inversion centres, giving a chain coordination polymer extending along the [100] direction. Extensive hydrogen‐bonding involving O—H…O, O—H…N and N—H…O interactions gives an overall three‐dimensional structure. The structures of the polymeric Sr and Ba complexes (III) and (IV), respectively, are isotypic and are based on irregular M O7 coordination polyhedra about the M 2+ centres, which lie on twofold rotation axes along with one of the coordinated water molecules. The coordination centres are linked through inversion‐related arsonate O :O ′‐bridges, giving eight‐membered ring motifs and forming coordination polymeric chains extending along the [100] direction. Inter‐chain N—H…O and O—H…O hydrogen‐bonding interactions extend the structures into three dimensions and the crystal packing includes π–π ring interactions [minimum ring centroid separations = 3.4666 (17) Å for (III) and 3.4855 (8) Å for (IV)].  相似文献

The title compound {systematic name: 4‐amino‐5‐cyclopropyl‐7‐(2‐deoxy‐β‐D‐erythro‐pentofuranosyl)‐7H‐pyrrolo[2,3‐d]pyrimidine}, C14H18N4O3, exhibits an anti glycosylic bond conformation, with the torsion angle χ = −108.7 (2)°. The furanose group shows a twisted C1′‐exo sugar pucker (S‐type), with P = 120.0 (2)° and τm = 40.4 (1)°. The orientation of the exocyclic C4′—C5′ bond is ‐ap (trans), with the torsion angle γ = −167.1 (2)°. The cyclopropyl substituent points away from the nucleobase (anti orientation). Within the three‐dimensional extended crystal structure, the individual molecules are stacked and arranged into layers, which are highly ordered and stabilized by hydrogen bonding. The O atom of the exocyclic 5′‐hydroxy group of the sugar residue acts as an acceptor, forming a bifurcated hydrogen bond to the amino groups of two different neighbouring molecules. By this means, four neighbouring molecules form a rhomboidal arrangement of two bifurcated hydrogen bonds involving two amino groups and two O5′ atoms of the sugar residues.  相似文献

In poly[aqua(μ3‐benzene‐1,4‐dicarboxylato‐κ5O1,O1′:O1:O4,O4′)[2‐(pyridin‐3‐yl‐κN)‐1H‐benzimidazole]cadmium(II)], [Cd(C8H4O4)(C12H9N3)(H2O)]n, (I), each CdII ion is seven‐coordinated by the pyridine N atom from a 2‐(pyridin‐3‐yl)benzimidazole (3‐PyBIm) ligand, five O atoms from three benzene‐1,4‐dicarboxylate (1,4‐bdc) ligands and one O atom from a coordinated water molecule. The complex forms an extended two‐dimensional carboxylate layer structure, which is further extended into a three‐dimensional network by hydrogen‐bonding interactions. In catena‐poly[[diaquabis[2‐(pyridin‐3‐yl‐κN)‐1H‐benzimidazole]cobalt(II)]‐μ2‐benzene‐1,4‐dicarboxylato‐κ2O1:O4], [Co(C8H4O4)(C12H9N3)2(H2O)2]n, (II), each CoII ion is six‐coordinated by two pyridine N atoms from two 3‐PyBIm ligands, two O atoms from two 1,4‐bdc ligands and two O atoms from two coordinated water molecules. The complex forms a one‐dimensional chain‐like coordination polymer and is further assembled by hydrogen‐bonding interactions to form a three‐dimensional network.  相似文献

The crystal structures and hydrogen‐bonding patterns of 3‐phenylpropylammonium benzoate, C9H14N+·C7H5O2, (I), and 3‐phenylpropylammonium 3‐iodobenzoate, C9H14N+·C7H4IO2, (II), are reported and compared. The addition of the I atom on the anion in (II) produces a different hydrogen‐bonding pattern to that of (I). In addition, the supramolecular heterosynthon of (II) produces a chiral crystal packing not observed in (I). Compound (I) packs in a centrosymmetric fashion and forms achiral one‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded columns through charge‐assisted N—H...O hydrogen bonds. Compound (II) packs in a chiral space group and forms helical one‐dimensional hydrogen‐bonded columns with 21 symmetry, consisting of repeating R43(10) hydrogen‐bonded rings that are commonly observed in ammonium carboxylate salts containing chiral molecules. This hydrogen‐bond pattern, which has been observed repeatedly in ammonium carboxylate salts, thus provides a means of producing chiral crystal structures from achiral molecules.  相似文献
