This paper deals with the existence of solutions for a class of p(x)-biharmonic equations with Navier boundary conditions. The approach is based on variational methods and critical point theory. Indeed, we investigate the existence of two solutions for the problem under some algebraic conditions with the classical Ambrosetti–Rabinowitz condition on the nonlinear term. Moreover, by combining two algebraic conditions on the nonlinear term which guarantee the existence of two solutions, applying the mountain pass theorem given by Pucci and Serrin we establish the existence of the third solution for the problem.  相似文献

This article is concerned with the multiplicity results of the solutions for a Kirchhoff-type three-point boundary value problem. The method observed here is according to variational methods and critical point theory. In fact, through a consequence of the local minimum theorem due Bonanno and mountain pass theorem, we look into the existence results for our problem under algebraic conditions with the classical Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz (AR) condition on the nonlinear term. Furthermore, by combining two algebraic conditions on the nonlinear term, employing two consequences of the local minimum theorem due Bonanno we guarantee the existence of two solutions, and applying the mountain pass theorem given by Pucci and Serrin we establish the existence of third solution for the problem.  相似文献

This paper investigates properties of certain nonlinear PDEs on fractal sets. With an appropriately defined Laplacian, we obtain a number of results on the existence of non-trivial solutions of the semilinear elliptic equation with zero Dirichlet boundary conditions, where u is defined on the Sierpiński gasket. We use the mountain pass theorem and the saddle point theorem to study such equations for different classes of a and f. A strong Sobolev-type inequality leads to properties that contrast with those for classical domains.  相似文献

By using the index theory for unbounded self-adjoint operator equations and the symmetric mountain pass theorem, we investigate the existence of multiple solutions for nonlinear operator equations with twist conditions. In this paper, we establish some new sufficient conditions on the existence of homoclinic solution for a class of second‐order impulsive Hamiltonian systems. By using the mountain pass theorem, we demonstrate that the limit of a 2kT‐periodic approximation solution is a homoclinic solution of our problem. In this paper, we consider a class of impulsive Hamiltonian systems with a p‐Laplacian operator. Under certain conditions, we establish the existence of homoclinic orbits by means of the mountain pass theorem and an approximation technique. In some special cases, the homoclinic orbits are induced by the impulses in the sense that the associated non‐impulsive systems admit no non‐trivial homoclinic orbits.
