The quadrature distribution for a quantum damped oscillator is introduced in the frame of formulation of quantum mechanics based on a tomography scheme. We consider the problem of the driven harmonic oscillator in the probability representation of quantum mechanics, where the oscillator states are described by fair nonnegative probability distributions of position measured in rotated and squeezed reference frames in the system??s phase space. For some specific oscillator states like coherent states and nth excited states, the tomographic-probability distributions (called the state tomograms) are found in an explicit form. The evolution equation for the tomograms is discussed for the classical and quantum driven oscillators, and the tomographic propagator for this equation is studied.  相似文献

用包含偶极和四极虚势能项的非厄米哈密顿算符来描述Paul阱中囚禁阻尼单离子在静电场下的量子运动.通过导出和分析系统的精确解,得到在PT对称和不对称情形下的不同实能谱与稳定量子态,以及PT不对称情形的虚能谱和衰减量子态,同时给出相应于不同态的参数区域和存活概率.结果发现该非厄米系统外场参数能惟一确定量子稳定态并导致波函数形态变化,据此提出非相干操控相应量子跃迁的方法.让量子态衰减导致的离子位置期待值的衰减与经典阻尼谐振子的衰减一致,得到虚势能参数与经典阻尼参数的对应关系.所得结果将进一步丰富具有广泛应用背景的囚禁离子动力学.  相似文献

The review of new formulation of conventional quantum mechanics where the quantum states are identified with probability distributions is presented. The invertible map of density operators and wave functions onto the probability distributions describing the quantum states in quantum mechanics is constructed both for systems with continuous variables and systems with discrete variables by using the Born’s rule and recently suggested method of dequantizer–quantizer operators. Examples of discussed probability representations of qubits (spin-1/2, two-level atoms), harmonic oscillator and free particle are studied in detail. Schrödinger and von Neumann equations, as well as equations for the evolution of open systems, are written in the form of linear classical–like equations for the probability distributions determining the quantum system states. Relations to phase–space representation of quantum states (Wigner functions) with quantum tomography and classical mechanics are elucidated.  相似文献

We introduce the probability distributions describing quantum observables in conventional quantum mechanics and clarify their relations to the tomographic probability distributions describing quantum states. We derive the evolution equation for quantum observables (Heisenberg equation) in the probability representation and give examples of the spin-1/2 (qubit) states and the spin observables. An observable criterion is derived that allows one to distinguish nonclassical states of the harmonic oscillator from those having a classical counterpart. A quantum state is shown to have no classical counterpart if and only if the characteristic functions of the quadrature distributions or the s-parametrized phase-space distributions exhibit a slower decay than for the ground state of the oscillator. This renders it possible to experimentally check the failure of the P function to be a probability measure.  相似文献

Symplectic and optical joint probability representations of quantum mechanics are considered, in which the functions describing the states are the probability distributions with all random arguments (except the argument of time). The general formalism of quantizers and dequantizers determining the star product quantization scheme in these representations is given. Taking the Gaussian functions as the distributions of the tomographic parameters the correspondence rules for most interesting physical operators are found and the expressions of the dual symbols of operators in the form of singular and regular generalized functions are derived. Evolution equations and stationary states equations for symplectic and optical joint probability distributions are obtained.  相似文献

For the statistical operator of the damped harmonic oscillator a Masterequation is given in operator form describing both inelastic and elastic, purely phase destroying processes. By expressing the statistical operator in the diagonal representation with respect toGlauber's coherent states the Masterequation is transformed into a Fokker-Planck equation forGlauber's quasiprobability distribution function. The general solution of this Fokker-Planck equation is calculated. It is shown how the solution of a Masterequation can be used for calculating correlation functions and expressions are given for the amplitude and intensity correlation functions which are in complete formal agreement with the corresponding classical formulae.  相似文献

We study a deterministic conservative dynamic model inspired by the Kac ring model. We show that some initial probability distributions with long range correlation, which go to equilibrium asymptotically, can be transformed, through a transition to new dissipative and stochastic dynamics, into states with damped correlations.  相似文献

It is shown that the stationary states of stochastic systems are stable. Therefore one cannot use the stationary probability distributions for describing the stochastic systems in metastable states. Quantization of a damped harmonic oscillator leads to so called Bateman’s dual system. The corresponding Bateman’s Hamiltonian, being a self-adjoint operator, displays the discrete family of complex eigenvalues. We show that they correspond to the poles of energy eigenvectors and the corresponding resolvent operator when continued to the complex energy plane. Therefore, the corresponding generalized eigenvectors may be interpreted as resonant states which are responsible for the irreversible quantum dynamics of a damped harmonic oscillator.  相似文献

Systems with multimode nonstationary Hamiltonians (quadratic in position and momentum operators) are reviewed. The tomographic probability distributions (tomograms) for the Fock states and Gaussian states of the quadratic systems are discussed. The tomograms for the Fock states are expressed in terms of multivariable Hermite polynomials. In view of the obvious physical relations, some new formulas for multivariable Hermite polynomials are found. We discuss the notion of distances between the probability vectors and between the density states. We study the transforms of the probability vectors by means of stochastic and bistochastic matrices. In a recent research (Olivares et al., 2019 [18]) we have demonstrated that a homodyne-like scheme, exploiting a “low-intensity” local oscillator, can be used to perform optical state tomography of both quantum and classical states of light. The reconstruction method directly uses the homodyne-like probability distribution retrieved from the detector. Here, we further investigate the role played by the local oscillator in this respect. In particular, we study to some extent how its intensity affects the quantum-state reconstruction procedure by focusing on the case of the Fock states |1〉 and |2〉, whose homodyne-like probability distributions are sensibly affected by the actual value of the LO intensity. The analysis is performed on Monte Carlo simulated experiments taking also into account the quantum detection efficiency.  相似文献

The relation between the density matrix obeying the von Neumann equation and the wave function obeying the Schrödinger equation is discussed in connection with the superposition principle of quantum states. The definition of the ray-addition law is given, and its relation to the addition law of vectors in the Hilbert space of states and the role of a constant phase factor of the wave function is elucidated. The superposition law of density matrices, Wigner functions, and tomographic probabilities describing quantum states in the probability representation of quantum mechanics is studied. Examples of spin-1/2 and Schrödinger-cat states of the harmonic oscillator are discussed. The connection of the addition law with the entanglement problem is considered.  相似文献
