The decay K+ → e+υγ has been investigated. For the structure-dependent part with positive γ-helicity (SD+) the branching ratio Γ(SD+)Γ(Kμ2) = (2.33 ± 0.42) × 10?5 is obtained from 51 ± 3 events observed in the kinematical region Ee ? 235 MeV, Eγ > 48 MeV and θeγ > 140°. For the corresponding part with negative γ-helicity we obtain an upper limit Γ(SD?)/Γ(SD+) < 11 (90% CL) from the sample of electrons with energies 220 MeV ? Ee < 230 MeV and with no γ in the backward direction. This upper limit implies that the ratio of structure-dependent axial vector amplitudes lies outside the region ?1.8 < aKυK < ?0.54.For the decay K+e+ννν the limit Γ(K+e+ννν)/Γ(Ke2) < 3.8 90% confidence level) was found.  相似文献

π+ and π? elastic and inelastic scattering from 18O have been measured at T(π)=164 MeV. Consistent with the results at 230 MeV, it is found that the ratio σ(π?)σ(π+) for the 21+ state is 1.86(16), while for the 31? state it is 0.89(6). These results are interpreted as indicating differences in neutron and proton deformations characterizing the 21+ transition and partial neutron blocking for the 31? transition. Optical model analysis of elastic scattering leads to the conclusion that 〈rn212?〈rp212=0.03(3) fm.  相似文献

The reactions 12C(d, α)10B, 18O(d, α)16N and34S(d, α)32P have been investigated at Ed = 52 MeV. Vector analyzing powers as large as ¦iT11¦=0.85 are observed. They exhibit patterns characteristic for final spins I = |L?1|, L or L + 1 and provide spin determinations at least for states of unique L-transfer. Local, zero-range DWBA calculations assuming deuteron-cluster pick-up reproduce qualitatively the observed effects. The method has been tested for states of known spin, and then has been applied to determine spins of states with stretched coupling in 16N: Jπ = 3+(3.96 MeV), 4?(6.17 MeV) and in 32P: Jπ = 5+(4.75 MeV). There is strong evidence for further 5+ states in 32P at 6.43, 7.96, 8.09 and 8.54 MeV.  相似文献

The hard photon emission in e+e?μ+μ?γ is investigated to order α3. Formulas for a number of distributions are obtained, when neglecting terms of order (me/?)2 and (mμ/?)2. Both charge-even and charge-odd contributions are calculated. The total contribution to the charge asymmetry parameter
? = [dσ(θ)dOμ+?dOσ(π?θ)dOμ+][dσ(θ)dOμ++dσ(π ? σ)dOμ+]

Using a target prepared by on-line isotope separation, thermal neutron capture in 84Rb (Iπ = 2?) has been shown to induce proton emission to the ground state (0+) and first excited state (2+) of 84Kr. The branching ratio was measured as Γp(0+)Γp(2+) = 4.7 ± 0.7, favouring a 32? assignment of the capturing state without excluding 52?, and the (nth, p) cross section as 12 ± 2 b. The energy available for the process was determined to be 3.45 ± 0.01 MeV, in agreement with other mass data in the region.  相似文献

Three enhancements are observed in the final state ω°π+π+π++π?π? selected from the channel pp → 3π+? π° at 715 MeV/c: one in ω°π± at 1040 MeV (~ ≈ 55MeV) ω°π+π?, respectively near 1315 MeV (~ ≈ 100 MeV) and 1405 MeV (~ ≈ 40 MeV). The first two effects are strongly correlated and are interpreted in terms of a sequential decay A°2 through a new object, the B1. The second (ωππ) enhancement seems to be an ?°?° effect below threshold and is attributed to a pionic decay of the KK)I=1 effect seen around the same mass in other reactions.  相似文献

Closely spaced angular distributions have been measured for the 12C(α, α2)12C1(7.66 MeV) reaction between Eα = 17.39 and 20.5 MeV in a search for 8+ strength in 16O. No evidence of 8+ strength is found, but evidence is found for a narrow 7? resonance at 21.52 MeV excitation.  相似文献

The magnetic moment of the 4+, 3.55 MeV level of 18O has been determined to be |g| = 0.62 ± 0.10 in a perturbed angular correlation measurement on nuclei recoiling into gas and vacuum. Analysis of the recoil-into-gas data using the Abragam-Pound model agrees with analysis of the recoil-into-vacuum data using a model for the electronic ensemble described in a previous communication. The value of the g-factor shows the 4+ wave function to consist mainly of thed522 configuration.  相似文献

The reaction 12C(7Li, t)16O has been studied at E(7Li) = 34 MeV with the LASL tandem accelerator and QDDD magnetic spectrometer. Angular distributions to levels with Ex < 11 MeV have been obtained from 0° to 90°, including 0°. The results have been analyzed with finite-range distorted-wave Born approximation theory. The α-particle spectroscopic factors and reduced widths obtained are compared with those calculated with group theory (SU(3)) and other models. The analysis of data for the 7.1 and 9.6 MeV Jπ = 1? levels, which are of great importance in stellar helium buring, yields a ratio, R, of dimensionless reduced α-widths θ2a(7.1 MeV)θ2a(9.6 MeV) = 0.35b ± 0.13. The observed line width of the 9.6 MeV level (Γc.m. = 390 ± 60 keV) is less than the accepted value (Γc.m. = 510 ± 60 keV) and implies θ2a(9.6 MeV) ≈ 0.6. These results as well as data for the 6.92 MeV Jπ = 2+ and 10.35 MeV Jπ = 4+ “α-cluster” states indicate 0.09 < θ2a(7.1 MeV) < 0.33 with a mean value θ2a(7.1 MeV) = 0.14 ± 0.04. The implication for stellar helium burning is discussed.  相似文献

The 91Zr(d, 3He) reaction was studied at a deuteron energy of 28 MeV. Angular distributions were measured from 13° to 47°; lp values were extracted for the prominent lines of 90Y. The lp values and transition strengths were determined by DWBA analysis. The angular distributions for the p12)(νd52) doublet (g.s. and 0.20 MeV state) exhibit the characteristic l = 1 shape. States at 1.42, 1.57, 1.64 and 1.81 MeV were also populated strongly in the (d, 3He) reaction; the 1.42, 1.57 and 1.81 MeV levels contain l= 1 transition strength and are most likely members of the p32?1)(νd52) multiplet. The 2.03 MeV state has a characteristic l = 3 angular distribution and is suggested to be the only member of the f32?1)(νd52) sextet to be unambiguously observed in this study, most probably the 5? or 4? member. The members of the g52)(νd92) sextet were populated weakly (less than 100 μb/sr) in this reaction.  相似文献

The branching ratio Λ(KS0→π+π?γ)Λ(KS0→π+π?) has been determined to be (2.68±0.15)×10?3 for photon energies Eγ1 greater than 50 MeV in the KS0 rest frame. The decay KS0π+π?γ is found to be dominated by the internal bremsstrahlung transition. The branching rato of a possible direct transition is found to be less than 0.06 × 10?3 at 90% confidence level for Eγ1 > 50 MeV.  相似文献

The 62Ni(d, α)60Co reaction has been studied with 78 MeV vector polarized deuterons. Angular distributions of the differential cross section and vector analyzing power have been measured for strongly populated states in 60Co up to an excitation energy of 5 MeV. The transferred orbital and total angular momenta L and J were determined from the characteristic shapes of the differential cross sections and vector analyzing powers yielding a number of new spin assignments. The Jπ = 7+ stretched [(62Nig.s.)0+?(1f72)7,0?2] configuration was found to be distr least over nine states located at 1.51, 3.09, 3.46, 3.67, 3.78, 4.04, 4.55, 4.70 and 4.80 MeV.  相似文献

Differential cross sections were measured for the reactions 9Be(α, α')9Be, 9Be(α, t)10B and9Be(α, 3He)10B at Eα = 65 MeV for angles ranging from θlab = 6° to 48°. Optical-model analysis was performed for elastic α-scattering from 9Be at Eα = 48, 65 and 104 MeV, and DWBA and CC calculations were done for the inelastic α-scattering at Eα = 65 MeV. DWBA calculations for the 9Be(α, 3He) reactions do not fit the transfer data so well and extracted spectroscopic factors are in disagreement with those of Cohen and Kurath and with values obtained from other reactions. Full CRC calculations assuming a band structure for the low-lying states of 10B and employing a modified set of Cohen and Kurath spectroscopic factors yield globally better fits both in shape and in absolute cross section for differential cross sections to low-lying states in 10B obtained in 9Be(α, t)10B at Eα = 65 MeV and9Be(3He, d)10B at Ed = 17 MeV. In general, strong coupled-channel effects mainly affecting the distorted waves are observed both in entrance and exit channels.  相似文献

Excitation functions at θ = 90° have been measured for 16O(3He, γ0?2, 3?5, 6)19Ne, 15N(3He, γ0, 1?4)18F, 14N(3He, γ0, 1,2,3)17F, and 20Ne(3He, γ0 + 1)23Mg, in the range E3He = 3–19 MeV. The first reaction has also been studied at θ = 40°. Excitation functions at 90° have also been measured for 40Ca(3He, γ0?2)43Ti for E3He = 4–17 MeV and 4He(3He, γ0 + 1)7Be for E3He = 19–26 MeV. Angular distributions have been measured for the first four reactions.For the most excitation functions, a broad peak is observed, several MeV wide, centred at about Ex≈ 20 MeV. Superimposed on this, in some cases, are narrower peaks, with width ≈ 1 MeV. Energies and widths have been extracted for all resonances.Cluster-model calculations have been carried out, using methods similar to those which have proved successful for low-lying states in A= 18–19 nuclei. No satisfactory correspondence with the present results was found. The shell model has been used to calculate Γ3He and Γγ for 1?ω excitations in the final nuclei. These generally show good agreement with the trends of the experimental data. The results are consistent with the excitation of the giant dipole resonance in 3He capture, but much more weakly than in proton capture.  相似文献

The 6164, 6284, 6310, 6383, 6480, 6777 and 6803 keV states have been studied via the capture reactions 14N(α, γ)18F and 17O(p, γ)18F. These studies yield respective assignments of JπT = 3+(1), 2+(0+1), 3+(0), 2+(0+1), 3+(0), 4+(0) and 1+, 2 or 3+(0). Information on radiative widths, branching and multipole mixing ratios is reported. The 6164 and 6777 keV states are well described theoretically by simple (d52s12)3+and (d52d324+ configurations, respectively. The 2+ states at 6284 and 6383 keV are mixed in isospin. A comparison of the observed properties with the available model calculations is presented for the above states as well as for some low-lying positive-parity states.  相似文献

Differential cross sections for center of mass scattering angles near 90° are presented for the reactions K?°p → π+Λ°, K?°p → π+Σ° and KL°p → KS°p in the momentum interval 1.0 to 7.5 GeV/c. The energy dependences of these cross sections are found to be equally well described by the parameterization: (dσdΩ)90° ∞ s?2 or (dσdΩ)90°exp(? bp).  相似文献

The reactions 17O(d, t) 16O and 17O(d, τ)16N have been investigated at Ed = 52 MeV. Energy spectra of tritons and τ-particles have been measured simultaneously up to excitation energies of 22 MeV in 16O and 10 MeV in 16N, respectively. Spectroscopic factors have been obtained by a DWBA analysis of the measured angular distributions. From the comparison of the t- and τ-spectra analog (T = 1) states in 16O could be identified and the distribution of T = 0 and T = 1 spectroscopic strengths could be deduced. Nearly the total 1p12 and 1p32 hole strengths have been found and the 1d521p12?1and 1d521p32?1 particle-hole multiplets could be located both for T = 0 and T = 1. The average residual interactions in both shell-model configurations turned out to be strikingly different.  相似文献
