Significant differences in the manifestation of spin-crossover properties of the mesogen compounds [FeL 2]X with oxysalicylidene-N′-ethyl-N-ethylenediamine ligands L and anions X = PF6 and SCH have been found by means of electron paramagnetic resonance. The electron paramagnetic resonance data and the quantum-chemical calculation within the density functional theory enables us to establish that the observed specific features are associated with the incorporation of the SCH ion into the first coordination sphere of the Fe(III) ion. The role of the transition of the material to the liquid-state phase in the formation of a low-dimensional (two-dimensional) structure with stronger intermolecular interactions has been revealed.  相似文献

The experimental study of the proton-rich nuclei close to the N = Z line is a constant challenge for nuclear spectroscopy, mainly due to the difficulty to produce them with the currently available beam/target combinations. Significant advances on this direction were obtained from experiments performed with the GASP array during the last two years: the yrast line of 84Mo was extended up to 10 + , 88Ru observed for the first time, and the N = Z + 1 line was mapped from 81Zr to 95Ag. We revise the SU(N c ), N c =3,4,6, lattice data on pure gauge theories at finite temperature by means of a quasi-particle approach. In particular, we focus on the relation between the effective mass of the quasi-particle and the order of the deconfinement transition, the scaling of the interaction measure with N2c -1N^{2}_{c} -1, the role of gluon condensate, and the screening mass.  相似文献

Functionalized pyrimido[4,5-b]quinoline-2,4 (1H,3H)-diones were synthesized by a three-component one-pot reaction involving barbituric acid, aldehydes, and anilines. The use of commercially available anilines allowed the facile syntheses of pyrimido[4,5-b]quinolinediones substituted in all the positions on the benzene ring with electron donor or electron withdrawing groups. This straightforward method circumvents the preparation of unstable substituted 2-aminobenzaldehydes that limits the scope of previously described syntheses. Furthermore, access to the 5-substituted derivatives is now also possible starting from aliphatic or aromatic aldehydes. Our strategy and methodology offer significant and practical improvements over other methodologies.  相似文献

From a macroscopic theory of the quantum vacuum in terms of conserved relativistic charges (generically denoted by q (a) with label a), we have obtained, in the low-energy limit, a particular type of f(R) model relevant to cosmology. In this study quasiparticle random-phase approximation with the translational invariant Hamiltonian using deformed mean field potential has been conducted to describe electric dipole excitations in 136Xe, 138Ba, 140Ce, 142Nd, 144Sm and 146Gd isotones. The distribution of the calculated E1 strength shows a resonance like structure at energies between 6–8 MeV exhausting up to 1% of the isovector electric dipole Energy Weighted Sum Rule and in some aspects nicely confirms the experimental data. It has been shown that the main part of E1 strength, observed below the threshold in these nuclei may be interpreted as main fragments of the Pygmy Dipole resonance. The agreement between calculated mean excitation energies as well as summed B(E1) value of the 1 excitations and the available experimental data is quite good. The calculations indicate the presence of a few prominent positive parity 1+ States in heavy N = 82 isotones in the energy interval 6–8 MeV which shows not all dipole excitations were of electric character in this energy range.  相似文献

The ground state degeneracy of an SU(N) k topological phase with n quasiparticle excitations is a relevant quantity for quantum computation, condensed matter physics, and knot theory. It is an open question to find a closed formula for this degeneracy for any N >2. Here we present the problem in an explicit combinatorial way and analyze the case N = 3. While not finding a complete closed-form solution, we obtain generating functions and solve some special cases.  相似文献

We investigate both geometric and conformal field theoretic aspects of mirror symmetry on N=(4,4) superconformal field theories with central charge c=6. Our approach enables us to determine the action of mirror symmetry on (non-stable) singular fibers in elliptic fibrations of N orbifold limits of K3. The resulting map gives an automorphism of order 4,8, or 12, respectively, on the smooth universal covering space of the moduli space. We explicitly derive the geometric counterparts of the twist fields in our orbifold conformal field theories. The classical McKay correspondence allows for a natural interpretation of our results.  相似文献

We compute the energy eigenvalues for the N-dimensional harmonic oscillator confined in an impenetrable spherical cavity. The results show their dependence on the size of the cavity and the space dimension N. The obtained results are compared with those for the free N-dimensional harmonic oscillator, and as a result, the notion of fractional dimensions is pointed out. Finally, we examine the correlation between eigenenergies for confined oscillators in different dimensions.  相似文献

We consider deconfined matter in SU(N) gauge theory as an ideal gas of transversely polarized quasi-particle modes having a temperature-dependent mass m(T). Just above the transition temperature, the mass is assumed to be determined by the critical behavior of the energy density and the screening length in the medium. At high temperature, it becomes proportional to T as the only remaining scale. The resulting (trace anomaly based) interaction measure Δ=(ϵ−3P)/T 4 and energy density are found to agree well with finite temperature SU(3) lattice calculations.  相似文献

We consider the large N limit of the Nahm transform, which relates charge N monopoles to solutions to the Nahm equation involving N × N matrices. In the large N limit the former approaches a magnetic bag, and the latter approaches a solution of the Nahm equation based on the Lie algebra of area-preserving vector fields on the 2-sphere. In a recent paper (Sharif and Shamir in Class. Quantum Grav. 26:235020, 2009), we have studied the vacuum solutions of Bianchi types I and V spacetimes in the framework of metric f (R) gravity. Here we extend this work to perfect fluid solutions. For this purpose, we take stiff matter to find energy density and pressure of the universe. In particular, we find two exact solutions in each case which correspond to two models of the universe. The first solution gives a singular model while the second solution provides a non-singular model. The physical behavior of these models has been discussed using some physical quantities. The effect of solvent nature and temperature on the formation of 3D-dimensional SAM (self-assembled monolayers on nanoparticles) based on synthetically available stereoisomers of p-tert-butyl thiacalix[4]arenes tetrasubstituted at the lower rim by pyrrolidide and octylamide groups (cone, partial cone, and 1,3-alternate) with lithium and silver nanoparticles were determined by dynamic light-scattering and transmission electron microscopy. It was found that the variation of the temperature of the system and the nature of the solvent leads to the formation discrete or extended particles (CH2Cl2) (98–110 nm), nanostructures (CH3CN) (120–295 nm) or three-dimensional SAM (DMF) (1–13 nm; 46–622 nm).  相似文献

Thallium emission spectra in the 115–300 nm range excited by electron-atom collisions at electron energies of 12–300 eV are investigated. A number of weak lines that cannot be unidentified using spectroscopic tables are found in the 140–170 nm range. Two of them (144.9 and 148.0 nm) are attributed to the radiative decay of levels that belong to the 6s6p 2 configuration and that lie above the ionization potential. A weak emission with an excitation threshold of about 9 eV is revealed in the vicinity of the Tl II resonance line at 132.2 nm. The excitation function of the emission is measured for electron energies below 15.5 eV. It is found that the emission consists of two lines, which also appear due to the excitation of the 6s6p 2 configuration and correspond to the radiative decay of levels that are common with the lines at 144.9 and 148.0 nm mentioned above. Their calculated wavelengths are 130.2 and 132.7 nm, respectively.  相似文献

Recently f(T) theories based on modifications of teleparallel gravity, where torsion is the geometric object describing gravity instead of curvature, have been proposed to explain the present cosmic accelerating expansion. The field equations are always second order, remarkably simpler than f(R) theories. In analogy to the f(R) theory, we consider here three types of f(T) gravity, and find that all of them can give rise to cosmic acceleration with interesting features, respectively.  相似文献

The critical current I c of S-(FN)-S Josephson structures has been calculated as a function of the distance L between superconducting (S) electrodes using the Usadel quasiclassical equations for the case of specifying the supercurrent in the direction parallel to the interface between the ferromagnetic (F) and normal (N) films of the composite weak-link region. It has been shown that, owing to the interaction between F and N films, both the typical decrease scale I c(L) and the period of the critical current oscillations can be much larger than the respective quantities for the SFS junctions. The conditions have been determined under which these lengths are on the order of the effective depth ζN of superconductivity penetration to a normal metal.  相似文献

The strong decays of the N*(1535) resonance are investigated in an extended chiral quark model by including the low-lying qqqqq components in addition to the qqq component.The results show that these five-quark components in N*(1535) contribute significantly to the N*(1535)→ Nπ and N*(1535) → Nη decays.The contributions to the Nη decay come from both the lowest energy and the next-to-lowest energy five-quarks components,while the contributions to the Nπ decay come from only the latter one.Taking these contr...  相似文献

The difference of vector and axial-vector charged current correlators is analyzed by means of QCD sum rules. The contribution of 10-dimensional 4-quark condensates is calculated and its value is estimated within the framework of the factorization hypothesis. It is compared to the result obtained from an operator fit of Borel sum rules in the complex q 2-plane, calculated from experimental data on hadronic -decays. This fit gives accurate values of the light quark condensate and the quark-gluon mixed condensate.
