Reaction of TlCl and [LiN(Me)Ar(Mes)2](2) [Ar(Mes)2 = C(6)H(3)-2,6-(C(6)H(2)-2,4,6-Me(3))(2)] in Et(2)O generated the thallium amide, TlN(Me)Ar(Mes)2 (1). X-ray data showed that it has a monomeric structure with an average Tl-N distance of 2.364(3) Angstroms. There was also a Tl-arene approach [Tl-centroid = 3.026(2) Angstroms (avg)] to a flanking mesityl ring from the terphenyl substituent. DFT calculations showed that this interaction is weak and supported essentially one coordination for thallium. The electronic spectrum of 1 is hypsochromically shifted in comparison to the monomeric TlAr(Trip)2 (Trip = C(6)H(2)-2,4,6-Pr(i)(3)).  相似文献

The reaction of Cp*Ru(P(i)Pr(3))Cl (1) with MesBH(2) (Mes = 2,4,6-trimethylphenyl) afforded the mesitylborate complex Cp*Ru(P(i)Pr(3))(BH(2)MesCl) (2, 66%). Exposure of 2 to the chloride abstracting agent LiB(C(6)F(5))(4)·2.5OEt(2) provided [Cp*Ru(P(i)Pr(3))(BH(2)Mes)](+)B(C(6)F(5))(4)(-) (3, 54%), which features an unusual η(2)-B-H monoborane ligand. The related borate complex Cp*Ru(P(i)Pr(3))(BH(3)Mes) (5, 65%) was prepared from 1 and LiH(3)BMes. Attempts to effect the insertion of unsaturated organic substrates into the B-H bonds of 3 were unsuccessful, and efforts to dehydrohalogenate 2 using KO(t)Bu instead afforded the mesitylborate complex Cp*(P(i)Pr(3))Ru(BH(2)MesOH) (6, 48%). Treatment of 1 with benzyl potassium generated an intermediate hydridoruthenium complex (7) resulting from dehydrogenation of a P(i)Pr fragment, which in turn was observed to react with MesBH(2) to afford the mesitylborate complex Cp*(P((i)Pr)(2)(CH(3)CCH(2)))Ru(BH(3)Mes) (8, 47%). Crystallographic characterization data are provided for 2, 3, 5, 6, and 8. A combined X-ray crystallographic and density functional theory (DFT) investigation of 3 and 5, using Natural Bond Orbital (NBO) and Atoms in Molecules (AIM) analysis, revealed that 3 and 5 are best described as donor-acceptor complexes between a Cp*(P(i)Pr(3))Ru(+) fragment and a bis(η(2)-B-H) coordinating mesitylborane(borate) ligand. Significant σ-donation from the B-H bonds into the Ru(II) center exists as evidenced by the NBO populations, bond orders, and AIM delocalization indices. In the case of 3, the vacant p orbital on boron is stabilized by Ru→B π back-donation as well as by resonance with the mesityl group.  相似文献

The protonolysis reaction of [Ln(AlMe(4))(3)] with various substituted cyclopentadienyl derivatives HCp(R) gives access to a series of half-sandwich complexes [Ln(AlMe(4))(2)(Cp(R))]. Whereas bis(tetramethylaluminate) complexes with [1,3-(Me(3)Si)(2)C(5)H(3)] and [C(5)Me(4)SiMe(3)] ancillary ligands form easily at ambient temperature for the entire Ln(III) cation size range (Ln=Lu, Y, Sm, Nd, La), exchange with the less reactive [1,2,4-(Me(3)C)(3)C(5)H(3)] was only obtained at elevated temperatures and for the larger metal centers Sm, Nd, and La. X-ray structure analyses of seven representative complexes of the type [Ln(AlMe(4))(2)(Cp(R))] reveal a similar distinct [AlMe(4)] coordination (one eta(2), one bent eta(2)). Treatment with Me(2)AlCl leads to [AlMe(4)] --> [Cl] exchange and, depending on the Al/Ln ratio and the Cp(R) ligand, varying amounts of partially and fully exchanged products [{Ln(AlMe(4))(mu-Cl)(Cp(R))}(2)] and [{Ln(mu-Cl)(2)(Cp(R))}(n)], respectively, have been identified. Complexes [{Y(AlMe(4))(mu-Cl)(C(5)Me(4)SiMe(3))}(2)] and [{Nd(AlMe(4))(mu-Cl){1,2,4-(Me(3)C)(3)C(5)H(2)}}(2)] have been characterized by X-ray structure analysis. All of the chlorinated half-sandwich complexes are inactive in isoprene polymerization. However, activation of the complexes [Ln(AlMe(4))(2)(Cp(R))] with boron-containing cocatalysts, such as [Ph(3)C][B(C(6)F(5))(4)], [PhNMe(2)H][B(C(6)F(5))(4)], or B(C(6)F(5))(3), produces initiators for the fabrication of trans-1,4-polyisoprene. The choice of rare-earth metal cation size, Cp(R) ancillary ligand, and type of boron cocatalyst crucially affects the polymerization performance, including activity, catalyst efficiency, living character, and polymer stereoregularity. The highest stereoselectivities were observed for the precatalyst/cocatalyst systems [La(AlMe(4))(2)(C(5)Me(4)SiMe(3))]/B(C(6)F(5))(3) (trans-1,4 content: 95.6 %, M(w)/M(n)=1.26) and [La(AlMe(4))(2)(C(5)Me(5))]/B(C(6)F(5))(3) (trans-1,4 content: 99.5 %, M(w)/M(n)=1.18).  相似文献

A series of tin(II) amido complexes possessing m-terphenyl carboxylate ligands have been prepared. These complexes, namely [(Me(3)Si)(2)NSn(mu-O(2)CC(6)H(2)Ph(3))](2), [(Me(3)Si)(2)NSn(mu-O(2)CC(6)H(3)Mes(2))](2), and [(Me(3)Si)(2)NSn(mu-O(2)CC(6)H(2)Mes(2)Me)](2) [Mes = 2,4,6-trimethylphenyl], are the first structurally characterized examples of tin(II) carboxylate complexes exhibiting discrete Sn(2)O(4)C(2) heterocyclic cores. Initial reactivity studies led to the isolation of a 1,3-diaza-2,4-distannacyclobutanediyl, [(Mes(2)C(6)H(3)CO(2))Sn(mu-NSiMe(3))](2). This molecule possesses a Sn(2)N(2) heterocyclic core and it was crystallised as both the CH(2)Cl(2) and Et(2)O solvates. Although the tin atoms in this molecule have a formal oxidation state of 3+, preliminary computational studies on this molecule suggest that it is best described as a ground state singlet. Finally, the X-ray crystal structure of (CH(2)Cl)(Cl)Sn[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2), the product of oxidative addition of CH(2)Cl(2) to Sn[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2), is also presented herein.  相似文献

Reactivity studies of the thermally stable ruthenostannylene complex [Cp*(IXy)(H)2Ru Sn Trip] ( 1 ; IXy=1,3‐bis(2,6‐dimethylphenyl)imidazol‐2‐ylidene; Cp*=η5‐C5Me5; Trip=2,4,6‐iPr3C6H2) with a variety of organic substrates are described. Complex 1 reacts with benzoin and an α,β‐unsaturated ketone to undergo [1+4] cycloaddition reactions and afford [Cp*(IXy)(H)2RuSn(κ2‐O,O‐OCPhCPhO)Trip] ( 2 ) and [Cp*(IXy)(H)2RuSn(κ2‐O,C‐OCPhCHCHPh)Trip] ( 3 ), respectively. The reaction of 1 with ethyl diazoacetate resulted in a tin‐substituted ketene complex [Cp*(IXy)(H)2RuSn(OC2H5)(CHCO)Trip] ( 4 ), which is most likely a decomposition product from the putative ruthenium‐substituted stannene complex. The isolation of a ruthenium‐substituted stannene [Cp*(IXy)(H)2RuSn(Flu)Trip] ( 5 ) and stanna‐imine [Cp*(IXy)(H)2RuSn(κ2‐N,O‐NSO2C6H4Me)Trip] ( 6 ) complexes was achieved by treatment of 1 with 9‐diazofluorene and tosyl azide, respectively.  相似文献

The photochemical treatment of mu(3)-alkylidyne complexes [[TiCp*(mu-O)](3)(mu(3)-CR)] (R=H (1), Me (2), Cp*=eta(5)-C(5)Me(5)) with the amines (2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3))NH(2), Et(2)NH, and Ph(2)NH and the imine Ph(2)C=NH leads to the partial hydrogenation of the alkylidyne moiety that is supported on the organometallic oxide, [Ti(3)Cp*O(3)], and the formation of new oxoderivatives [[TiCp*(3)(mu-CHR)(R'NR")] (R"=2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3), R'=H, R=H (3), Me (4); R'=R"=Et, R=H (5), Me (6); R'=R"=Ph, R=H (7), Me (8)) and [[TiCp*(mu-O)](3)(mu-CHR)(N=CPh(2))] (R=H (9), R=Me (10)), respectively. A sequential transfer hydrogenation process occurs when complex 1 is treated with tBuNH(2), which initially gives the mu-methylene [[TiCp*(mu-O)](3)(mu-CH(2))(HNtBu)] (11) complex and finally, the alkyl derivative [[TiCp*(mu-O)](3)(mu-NtBu)Me] (12). Furthermore, irradiation of solutions of the mu(3)-alkylidyne complexes 1 or 2 in the presence of diamines o-C(6)H(4)(NH(2))(2) and H(2)NCH(2)CH(2)NH(2) (en) affords [[TiCp*(mu-O)](3)(mu(3)-eta(2)-NC(6)H(4)NH)] (13) and [[TiCp*(mu-O)](3)(mu(3)-eta(2)-NC(2)H(4)NH)] (14) by either methane or ethane elimination, respectively. In the reaction of 1 with en, an intermediate complex [[TiCp*(mu-O)](3)(mu-CH(2))(NHCH(2)CH(2)NH(2))] (15) is detected by (1)H NMR spectroscopy. Thermal treatment of the complexes 4-10 quantitatively regenerates the starting mu(3)-alkylidyne compounds and the amine R'(2)NH or the imine Ph(2)C=NH; however, heating of solutions of 3 or 4 in [D(6)]benzene or a equimolecular mixture of both at 170 degrees C produces methane, ethane, or both, and the complex [[TiCp*(mu-O)](3)[mu(3)-eta(2)-NC(6)H(3)(Me)CH(2)]] (16). The molecular structure of 8 has been established by single-crystal X-ray analysis.  相似文献

Hydrolysis of [NbCp'Cl(4)] (Cp' = η(5)-C(5)H(4)SiMe(3)) with the water adduct H(2)O·B(C(6)F(5))(3) afforded the oxo-borane compound [NbCp'Cl(2){O·B(C(6)F(5))(3)}] (2a). This compound reacted with [MgBz(2)(THF)(2)] giving [NbCp'Bz(2){O·B(C(6)F(5))(3)}] (2b), whereas [NbCp'Me(2){O·B(C(6)F(5))(3)}] (2c) was obtained from the reaction of [NbCp'Me(4)] with H(2)O·B(C(6)F(5))(3). Addition of Al(C(6)F(5))(3) to solutions containing the oxo-borane compounds [MCp(R)X(2){O·B(C(6)F(5))(3)}] (M = Ta, Cp(R) = η(5)-C(5)Me(5) (Cp*), X = Cl 1a, Bz 1b, Me 1c; M = Nb, Cp(R) = Cp', X = Cl 2a) afforded the oxo-alane complexes [MCp(R)X(2){O·Al(C(6)F(5))(3)}] (M = Ta, Cp(R) = Cp*, X = Cl 3a, Bz 3b, Me 3c; M = Nb, Cp(R) = Cp', X = Cl 4a), releasing B(C(6)F(5))(3). Compound 3a was also obtained by addition of Al(C(6)F(5))(3) to the dinuclear μ-oxo compound [TaCp*Cl(2)(μ-O)](2), meanwhile addition of the water adduct H(2)O·Al(C(6)F(5))(3) to [TaCp*Me(4)] gave complex 3c. The structure of 2a and 3a was obtained by X-ray diffraction studies. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations were carried out to further understand these types of oxo compounds.  相似文献

Reactions of cis-Cp*(CO)2W(MeCN)Me (1) with HSiMe2(CH=CR2) (R = H, Me) afford the novel eta3-1-silaallyl complexes Cp*(CO)2W(eta3-Me2SiCHCR2) [R = H (2), Me (3)] accompanied by liberation of MeCN and CH4 via thermal Si-H bond activation. eta3-Coordination and exo conformation of the 1-silaallyl ligand in 3 are shown by X-ray crystal analysis, which reveals the partial double bond character of the Si-C bond (1.800(4) A) in the silaallyl moiety. Complexes 2 and 3 show extremely high reactivity toward MeOH to give the hydrido-(methoxysilyl)alkene complex trans-Cp*(CO)2WH(eta2-MeOMe2SiCH=CH2) (4) and the four-membered metallacycle Cp*(CO)2WCH(CHMe2)SiMe2OMe (6), respectively.  相似文献

Reaction of SmCl3 with 1 eq of KL (L =[DippNC(Me)CHC(Me)NDipp]; Dipp = 2,6-i-Pr2C6H3) in THF afforded the dimeric samarium dichloride LSmCl2(THF)Cl2SmL (1) in high yield. Reactions of 1 with NaN(SiMe3)2, KNHAr (Ar = 2,4,6-t-Bu3C6H2), KBHEt3, and KCp*(Cp*= C5Me5) yielded various new complexes: LSmClN(SiMe3)2 (2), LSm[N(SiMe3)2]2 (3), LSmNHAr(HBEt3) (4), LSm(NHAr)2 (5), and LSmCp*Cl (6). Reaction of 1 with one eq of NaN(SiMe3)2 followed by treatment with excess AlMe3 afforded a unique bimetallic samarium tetramer Cl3L2Sm2(AlMe4)2Sm2L2Cl3 (7). Reaction of 6 with LiMe or LiCH2SiMe3 afforded LSmCp*Me (8) and LSmCp*CH2SiMe3 (9) in excellent yield. Methyl abstraction from with B(C6F5)3 in toluene yielded the cationic borate species (LSmCp*)[MeB(C6F5)3] (10). Molecular structures of 1-7 and 9 were determined by X-ray single crystal analysis.  相似文献

Treatment of M[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2) (M = Mn, Fe, Co) with various bulky beta-diketimines afforded a variety of new three-coordinate complexes which were characterized by UV-vis, (1)H NMR and IR spectroscopy, magnetic measurements, and X-ray crystallography. Reaction of the beta-diketimine H(Dipp)NC(Me)CHC(Me)N(Dipp) (Dipp(2)N(wedge)NH; Dipp = C(6)H(3)-2,6-Pr(i)(2)) with M[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2) (M = Mn or Co) gave Dipp(2)N(wedge)NMN(SiMe(3))(2) (M = Mn, 1; Co, 3) while the reaction of Fe[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2) with Ar(2)N(wedge)NH (Ar = Dipp, C(6)F(5), Mes, C(6)H(3)-2,6-Me(2), or C(6)H(3)-2,6-Cl(2)) afforded the series of iron complexes Ar(2)N(wedge)NFe[N(SiMe(3))(2)] (Ar = Dipp, 2a; C(6)F(5), 2b; Mes, 2c; C(6)H(3)-2,6-Me(2), 2d; C(6)H(3)-2,6-Cl(2), 2e). This represents a new synthetic route to beta-diketiminate complexes of these metals. The four-coordinate bis-beta-diketiminate complex Fe[N(wedge)N(C(6)F(5))(2)](2), 4, was also isolated as a byproduct from the synthesis of 2b. Direct reaction of the Dipp(2)N(wedge)NLi with CoCl(2) gave the "ate" salt Dipp(2)N(wedge)NCoCl(2)Li(THF)(2), 5, in which the lithium chloride has formed a complex with Dipp(2)N(wedge)NCoCl through chloride bridging. The Fe(III) species Dipp(2)N(wedge)NFeCl(2), 6, was obtained cleanly from the reaction of FeCl(3) with Dipp(2)N(wedge)NLi. Magnetic measurements showed that all the complexes have a high spin configuration. The different substituents in the series of iron complexes 2a-e allowed assignment of their paramagnetically shifted (1)H NMR spectra. The X-ray crystal structures 1-2d and 3 showed that they have a distorted three-coordinate planar configuration at the metals whereas complexes 4-6 have highly distorted four-coordinate geometries.  相似文献

Titanium-phosphorus frustrated Lewis pairs (FLPs) based on titanocene-phosphinoaryloxide complexes have been synthesised. The cationic titanium(IV) complex [Cp(2)TiOC(6)H(4)P((t)Bu)(2)][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] 2 reacts with hydrogen to yield the reduced titanium(III) complex [Cp(2)TiOC(6)H(4)PH((t)Bu)(2)][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] 5. The titanium(III)-phosphorus FLP [Cp(2)TiOC(6)H(4)P((t)Bu)(2)] 6 has been synthesised either by chemical reduction of [Cp(2)Ti(Cl)OC(6)H(4)P((t)Bu)(2)] 1 with [CoCp*(2)] or by reaction of [Cp(2)Ti{N(SiMe(3))(2)}] with 2-C(6)H(4)(OH){P((t)Bu)(2)}. Both 2 and 6 catalyse the dehydrogenation of Me(2)HN·BH(3).  相似文献

Sterically demanding secondary phosphines and phosphides react with (THF)B(C(6)F(5))(3) (THF = tetrahydrofuran) to give the THF ring-opened compounds [R(2)PHC(4)H(8)OB(C(6)F(5))(3)] and [Mes(2)PC(4)H(8)OB(C(6)F(5))(3)Li(THF)(2)] (Mes = C(6)H(2)Me-2,4,6). These reactions also occur consecutively to give the double THF ring-opened compounds [Mes(2)P(C(4)H(8)OB(C(6)F(5))(3))(2)][Li(THF)(4)] and [t-Bu(2)P(C(4)H(8)OB(C(6)F(5))(3))(2)Li].  相似文献

Deprotonation of the phosphine complexes Au(PHR(2))Cl with aqueous ammonia gave the gold(I) phosphido complexes [Au(PR(2))](n)() (PR(2) = PMes(2) (1), PCy(2) (2), P(t-Bu)(2) (3), PIs(2) (4), PPhMes (5), PHMes (6); Mes = 2,4,6-Me(3)C(6)H(2), Is = 2,4,6-(i-Pr)(3)C(6)H(2), Mes = 2,4,6-(t-Bu)(3)C(6)H(2), Cy = cyclo-C(6)H(11)). (31)P NMR spectroscopy showed that these complexes exist in solution as mixtures, presumably oligomeric rings of different sizes. X-ray crystallographic structure determinations on single oligomers of 1-4 revealed rings of varying size (n = 4, 6, 6, and 3, respectively) and conformation. Reactions of 1-3 and 5 with PPN[AuCl(2)] gave PPN[(AuCl)(2)(micro-PR(2))] (9-12, PPN = (PPh(3))(2)N(+)). Treatment of 3 with the reagents HI, I(2), ArSH, LiP(t-Bu)(2), and [PH(2)(t-Bu)(2)]BF(4) gave respectively Au(PH(t-Bu)(2))(I) (14), Au(PI(t-Bu)(2))(I) (15), Au(PH(t-Bu)(2))(SAr) (16, Ar = p-t-BuC(6)H(4)), Li[Au(P(t-Bu)(2))(2)] (17), and [Au(PH(t-Bu)(2))(2)]BF(4) (19).  相似文献

Treatment of Cp*RuCl(kappa2-P,N-2b) (2b = 2-NMe2-3-PiPr2-indene) with TlSO3CF3 produced the cyclometalated complex [4]+SO3CF3- in 94% isolated yield. Exposure of [4]+X- (X = B(C6F5)4 or SO3CF3) to Ph2SiH2 (10 equiv) or PhSiH3 afforded the corresponding [Cp*(mu-P,N-2b)(H)2Ru=SiRPh]+X- complexes, [5]+X- (R = Ph; X = B(C6F5)4, 82%; X = SO3CF3, 39%) and [6]+X- (R = H; X = B(C6F5)4, 94%; X = SO3CF3, 95%). Notably, these transformations represent the first documented examples of Ru-mediated silylene extrusion via double geminal Si-H bond activation of an organosilane-a key step in the recently proposed Glaser-Tilley (G-T) alkene hydrosilylation mechanism. Treatment of [5]+B(C6F5)4- with KN(SiMe3)2 or [6]+SO3CF3- with NaN(SiMe3)2 afforded the corresponding zwitterionic Cp*(mu-2-NMe2-3-PiPr2-indenide)(H)2Ru=SiRPh complex in 69% (R = Ph, 7) or 86% (R = H, 8) isolated yield. Both [6]+X- and 8 proved unreactive toward 1-hexene and styrene and provided negligible catalytic turnover in the attempted metal-mediated hydrosilylation of these substrates with PhSiH3, thereby providing further empirical evidence for the required intermediacy of base-free Ru=Si species in the G-T mechanism. Isomerization of the P,N-indene ligand backbone in [6]+X-, giving rise to [Cp*(mu-1-PiPr2-2-NMe2-indene)(H)2Ru=SiHPh]+X- ([9]+X-), was observed. In the case of [9]+SO3CF3-, net intramolecular addition of the Ru=Si-H group across the styrene-like C=C unit within the ligand backbone to give 10 (96% isolated yield) was observed. Crystallographic characterization data are provided for [4]+X-, [5]+X-, [6]+X-, 8, and 10.  相似文献

Substituted bifunctional phosphorus-based ligands HX(CRR') n PR"H (or -PR" 2 ) [where X = O, S, NR', (substituted) cyclopentadienyl; n = 1, 2, 3; R, R', R" = alkyl, aryl, H] were employed as bridging ligands in the synthesis of early/late bridged transition metal complexes. Synthetic routes to the bifunctional ligands were also developed. First, mononuclear complexes, such as [TpZr(OCH 2 PPh 2 ) 3 ] (Tp = trispyrazolylborato), [Cp 2 Zr(1-O-2-PHR-C 6 H 10 )(Me)] (R = 2,4,6-Pr i 3 C 6 H 2 (Tipp)), [Cp 2 Zr(SCH 2 CH 2 PHR) 2 ] (R = Ph, Mes, Tipp), and phosphinoferrocene derivatives, were prepared. These complexes are suitable precursors for the introduction of a second metal (as in, for example, [TpZr( w -OCH 2 PPh 2 ) 3 Mo(CO) 3 ]).  相似文献

The reaction of the low-valent metallocene(II) sources Cp(2)Ti(η(2)-Me(3)SiC(2)SiMe(3)) (7) and Cp(2)Zr(py)(η(2)-Me(3)SiC(2)SiMe(3)) (11, Cp = η(5)-cyclopentadienyl, py = pyridine) with carbodiimides RN═C═NR (R = Cy, i-Pr, p-Tol) leads to the formation of five membered hetero-metallacycloallenes Cp(2)M{Me(3)SiC═C═C[N(SiMe(3))(R)]-N(R)} (9M-R) (M = Ti, R = i-Pr; M = Zr, R = Cy, i-Pr, p-Tol). Elimination of the alkyne (as the hitherto known reactivity of titanocene and zirconocene alkyne complexes would suggest) was not observed. The molecular structures of the obtained complexes were confirmed by X-ray studies. Moreover, the structure and bonding of the complexes 9Zr-Cy and 9Zr-p-Tol was investigated by DFT calculations.  相似文献
