We demonstrate the existence of general constraints on distributed quantum correlations, which impose a trade-off on bipartite and multipartite entanglement at once. For all N-mode Gaussian states under permutation invariance, we establish exactly a monogamy inequality, stronger than the traditional one, that by recursion defines a proper measure of genuine N-partite entanglement. Strong monogamy holds as well for subsystems of arbitrary size, and the emerging multipartite entanglement measure is found to be scale invariant. We unveil its operational connection with the optimal fidelity of continuous variable teleportation networks.  相似文献

This paper contains two main contents. In the first part, we provide two counterexamples of monogamy inequalities for the squared entanglement negativity: one three-qutrit pure state which violates of the He-Vidal monogamy conjecture, and one four-qubit pure state which disproves the squared-negativity-based Regula-Martino-Lee-Adesso-class strong monogamy conjecture. In the second part, we investigate the sharing of the entanglement negativity in a composite cavity-reservoir system using the corresponding multipartite entanglement scores, and then we find that there is no simple dominating relation between multipartite entanglement scores and the entanglement negativity in composite cavity-reservoir systems. As a by-product, we further validate that the entanglement of two cavity photons is a decreasing function of the evolution time, and the entanglement will suddenly disappear interacting with independent reservoirs.  相似文献

Monogamy and polygamy relations characterize the distributions of entanglement in multipartite systems. We provide classes of monogamy and polygamy inequalities of multiqubit entanglement in terms of concurrence, entanglement of formation, negativity, Tsallis-q entanglement, and Rényi-α entanglement, respectively. We show that these inequalities are tighter than the existing ones for some classes of quantum states.

We consider multipartite states of qubits and prove that their bipartite quantum entanglement, as quantified by the concurrence, satisfies a monogamy inequality conjectured by Coffman, Kundu, and Wootters. We relate this monogamy inequality to the concept of frustration of correlations in quantum spin systems.  相似文献

We investigate the monogamy and polygamy inequalities of arbitrary multipartite quantum states, and provide new classes of monogamy and polygamy inequalities of multiqubit entanglement in terms of concurrence, entanglement of formation, negativity, and Tsallis-q entanglement, respectively. We show that these new monogamy and polygamy inequality relations are tighter than the existing ones with detailed examples.  相似文献

We study the behavior of monogamy deficit and monogamy asymmetry for Einstein‐Podolsky‐Rosen steering of Gaussian states under the influence of the Hawking effect. We demonstrate that the monogamy of quantum steering shows an extreme scenario in the curved spacetime: the first part of a tripartite system cannot individually steer two other parties, but it can steer the collectivity of the remaining two parties. We also find that the monogamy deficit of Gaussian steering, a quantifier of genuine tripartite steering, are generated due to the influence of the Hawking thermal bath. Our results elucidate the structure of quantum steering in tripartite quantum systems in curved spacetime.  相似文献

We explore the existence of monogamy relations in terms of Rényi-α entanglement. By using the power of the Rényi-α entanglement, we establish a class of tight monogamy relations of multiqubit entanglement with larger lower bounds than the existing monogamy relations for α≥2, the power η1, and 2α≥(7~(1/2)-1)/2, the power η2, respectively.  相似文献

Monogamy is a fundamental property of multi-partite entangled states. Recently, Kim J S [ Phys. Rev. A 93 032331]showed that a partially coherent superposition(PCS) of a generalized W-class state and the vacuum saturates the strong monogamy inequality proposed by Regula B et al. [ Phys. Rev. Lett. 113 110501] in terms of squared convex roof extended negativity; and this fact may present that this class of states are good candidates for studying the monogamy of entanglement. Hence in this paper, we will investigate the monogamy relations for the PCS states. We first present some properties of the PCS states that are useful for providing our main theorems. Then we present several monogamy inequalities for the PCS states in terms of some entanglement measures.  相似文献

Quantum coherence measures the correlation between different measurement results in a single-system, while entanglement and quantum discord measure the correlation among different subsystems in a multipartite system. In this paper, we focus on the relative entropy form of them, and obtain three new properties of them as follows: 1) General forms of maximally coherent states for the relative entropy coherence, 2) Linear monogamy of the relative entropy entanglement, and 3) Subadditivity of quantum discord. Here, the linear monogamy is defined as there is a small constant as the upper bound on the sum of the relative entropy entanglement in subsystems.  相似文献

Based on the monogamy of entanglement, we develop the technique of quantum conditioning to build an additive entanglement measure: the conditional entanglement of mutual information. Its operational meaning is elaborated to be the minimal net "flow of qubits" in the process of partial state merging. The result and conclusion can also be generalized to multipartite entanglement cases.  相似文献

We show a scheme to distribute the entanglement by using three-mode separable Gaussian state prepared with imperfect equipments. The scheme achieves the aim that the entanglement is distributed between two distant parties with only Gaussian operations and linear optics elements. Moreover,we analyse the logarithmic negativity of the entanglement shared between the two parties when the systems are imperfect and arrive at the conclusion that the logarithmic negativity is asymptotically stable with fluctuations within a certain space range.  相似文献

This paper presents monogamy relations for three-qubit quantum states by using convex-roof extended negativity, which inspires studying the difference between the three entanglement measures, concurrence, negativity and convexroof extended negativity. It finds that the convex-roof extended negativity is a stronger entanglement measure than concurrence in multipartite higher-dimensional quantum system.  相似文献

We address the interaction of two Gaussian states through bilinear exchange Hamiltonians and analyze the correlations exhibited by the resulting bipartite systems. We demonstrate that entanglement arises if and only if the fidelity between the two input Gaussian states falls under a threshold value depending only on their purities, first moments, and the strength of the coupling. Our result clarifies the role of quantum fluctuations (squeezing) as a prerequisite for entanglement generation and provides a tool to optimize the generation of entanglement in linear systems of interest for quantum technology.  相似文献

We study bipartite quantum discord as a manifestation of a multipartite entanglement structure in the tripartite purified system. In particular, we find that bipartite quantum discord requires the presence of both bipartite and tripartite entanglement in the purification. This allows one to understand the asymmetry of quantum discord, D(A,B)≠D(B,A)D(A,B)D(B,A) in terms of entanglement monogamy. As instructive special cases, we study discord for qubits and Gaussian states in detail. As a result of this we shed new light on a counterintuitive property of Gaussian states: the presence of classical correlations necessarily requires the presence of quantum correlations. Finally, our results also shed new light on a protocol for remote activation of entanglement by a third party.  相似文献

We investigate how entanglement can be transferred between qubits and continuous-variable (CV) systems. We find that one ebit borne in maximally entangled qubits can be fully transferred to two CV systems which are initially prepared in a pure separable Gaussian field with high excitation. We show that it is possible to retrieve the entanglement back to qubits from the entangled CV systems. The deposition of multiple ebits from qubits to the initially separable CV systems is also pointed out. We show that the entanglement transfer and retrieval are done at a quasisteady state.  相似文献

In this paper the entanglement and the quantum discord (QD) dynamics of two cavities interacting with a common independent reservoir are investigated. Remarkably, it has been proved that the entanglement between two cavities can be transferred to one of the cavities and the reservoir with time evolution. Compared with the dynamics of entanglement, the QD has the similar behavior. It is found that the cavity damping rate can stabilize the entanglement and quantum discord between the cavity and reservoir. We also explore the monogamy of the entanglement and the QD during the interaction of quantum system.  相似文献
