A new direct route for the “bottom up” syntheses of phases in the Lan+1NinO3n+1 series (n=1, 2, 3 and ∞) has been achieved via single-step heat treatments of nanosized co-crystallized precursors. The co-crystallized precursors were prepared using a continuous hydrothermal flow synthesis system that uses a superheated water flow at ca. 400 °C and 24.1 MPa to produce nanoparticulate slurries. Overall, a significant reduction in time and number of steps for the syntheses of La3Ni2O7 and La4Ni3O10 was achieved compared with more conventional synthesis methods, which typically require multiple homogenization and reheating steps over several days.  相似文献

The split-flow thin cell fractionation (SF) is a useful tool for separating colloidal particles or macromolecules into two or more fractions in a preparative scale. In a conventional design, the SF channel is equipped with flow stream-splitters at the inlet and the outlet of the channel, which may cause deterioration of the resolution due to the disturbance in the flow stream by the imperfection of the splitter geometry. In this study, a new splitter-less SF channel was implemented, which was designed to operate only in the full-feed depletion (FFD) mode (FFD-SF). Without the splitters, it was possible to make the channel much larger than conventional ones (about 25 times larger in the channel volume), and thus obtain a much higher sample throughput (TP, amount of the sample that can be processed in a unit time period). The new splitter-less FFD-SF system was tested and optimized using polyurethane (PU) latex spheres, and then applied successfully to a large scale separation of sea sediment. A series of three steps of FFD-SF operations (with each step repeated, and there were 6 steps in total) yielded separation of the sea sediment into four fractions having diameter ranges of larger than 10 µm, between 5 and 10 µm, between 2 and 5 µm, and smaller than 2 µm. TP of the three FFD-SF operations were 37.3, 22.1, and 17.9 kg/h, and the fractionation efficiencies (FE) of the four size fractions were 80.5, 73.7, 79.1 and 86.1%. Results suggest the new splitter-less FFD-SF system could be a useful tool for large scale separation of complex particulates such as environmental particles.  相似文献

A very rapid and efficient method has been developed for the synthesis of vicinal bromoazides directly from olefin using N,N-dibromo-p-toluenesulfonamide (TsNBr2) without any catalyst. The reaction is extremely fast which goes into completion instantaneously to produce bromoazides. This procedure is applicable to various olefins such as cinnamates, chalcone, styrenes, and acrylate to give the corresponding 1,2-bromoazide in an excellent yield.  相似文献

The membrane composition effect on signal profile of the combined ISE-flow-injection system is examined on the example of Hg(II) flow-injection potentiometric (FIP) detector based on the secondary response to Hg(II) of different thin layer silver chalcogenide membranes, obtained by cathodic electrodeposition at controlled potential. The potential of the electrochemical approach to produce a great diversity of membrane compositions and the possibility for fine tuning of their stoichiometry made it possible to select the stoichiometry with respect to silver (intrinsic defects factor) and the inclusion of dopant (extrinsic defects factor) as the two variable composition parameters. The following membranes have been tested: Ag2Se1−xTex, Ag2Se, Ag2+δSe and Ag2+δSe1−xTex (δ=0.24). The experimental conditions have been varied in a wide range to include four flow-rates (within the 2.5-6 ml min−1 interval), and three typical carrier compositions to which either Ag(I) or Hg(II) have been added as pilot ions. The results obtained in this study show unambiguously that the membrane composition factors are an important figure of merit, the weight of which in some particular cases can be co-measurable with that of the flow manifold factors. A new important information concerning the active role of the “pilot ion” added to the carrier in controlling the rising part of the signal, through changing the membrane response rate order, is also provided.  相似文献

Further studies on the RuO4-catalyzed oxidative polycyclization of isoprenoid polyenes have been carried out. The configuration of the tris-THF product from the oxidation of geranylgeranyl acetate has been determined by a combination of spectral and chemical correlation methods. The oxidation of (E,Z)-farnesyl acetate, synthesized from nerol, has been carried out. This process stops at the first cyclization indicating that an E configuration of the Δ6 double bond is needed for the second cyclization to occur. The results are discussed in comparison with previous knowledge on the related Re(VII) polycyclization of polyenic bis-homoallylic alcohols.  相似文献

Using Na2CO3-H3BO3-NaF as fluxes, transparent RE:Na3La9O3(BO3)8 (abbr. RE:NLBO, RE=Er, Yb) crystals have been grown by the top seed solution growth (TSSG) method. The X-ray powder diffraction analysis shows that the RE:NLBO crystals have the same structure with NLBO. The element contents were determined by molar to be 0.64% Er3+ in Er:NLBO, 2.70% Yb3+ in Yb:NLBO, respectively. The polarized absorption spectra of RE:NLBO have been measured at room temperature and show that both Er:NLBO and Yb:NLBO have a strong absorption bands near 980 nm with wide FWHM (Full Wave at Half Maximum) (21 nm for Er:NLBO and 25 nm for Yb:NLBO). Fluorescence spectra have been recorded. Yb:NLBO has the emission peaks at 985 nm, 1028 nm and 1079 nm and the emission peak of Er:NLBO is at 1536 nm. Spectral parameters have been calculated by the Judd-Ofelt theory for Er:NLBO and the reciprocity method for Yb:NLBO, respectively. The calculated values show that Er:NLBO is a candidate of 1.55 μm laser crystals and Yb:NLBO is a candidate for self-frequency doubling crystal.  相似文献

Layered compounds have been synthesized and structurally characterized for the n=5 and 6 members of the perovskite-related family La4Srn−4TinO3n+2 by combining X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. Their structure can be regarded as comprising [(La,Sr)5Ti5O17] and [(La,Sr)6Ti6O20] perovskite blocks joined by crystallographic shears along the a-axis, with consecutive blocks shifted by 1/2 [100]p. The n=5 member is similar to the previously reported n=5 member of other AnBnO3n+2-related series. The n=6 member, which has only been briefly reported in other systems previously, is also a well-behaved member of this AnBnO3n+2 series.  相似文献

Phase relations at 700 °C, 800 °C and solidus temperatures have been derived for the clathrate system Ba8CuxGe46−xyy via X-ray single crystal and powder diffractometry combined with electron probe micro analysis and differential thermal analysis. The ternary clathrate phase derives from binary Ba8Ge433 and extends up to x=6. Structure investigations define cubic primitive symmetry with the space group type consistent with a clathrate type I structure throughout the entire homogeneity region 0<x?6 but defect-free Ba8CuxGe46−x exists for x?5.5.  相似文献

Methylene-bridged ansa-metallocene complexes bearing substituents on the cyclopentadienyl (Cp) and fluorenyl (Flu) moieties, namely methylene[9-(2,7-di-tert-butyl)fluorenyl(2-(1,3-dimethylcyclopentadienyl))]zirconium dichloride (1a) and its analogue, methylene[(9-(2,7-di-tert-butyl)fluorenyl(2-(1-methyl-3-phenyl)cyclopentadienyl))]zirconium dichloride (2a), have been prepared from (2,7-di-tert-butyl)-9-prop-2-ynyl-9H-fluorene (2). This procedure includes the use of 3-bromo-1-propyne which affords the methylene bridging unit by way of an intermolecular Pauson-Khand reaction in which norbornadiene and a pendant alkyne cyclize to form a ring that later becomes a substituted cyclopentadienyl group. Ethylene-norbornene (E-N) copolymerization was then carried out using these new complexes (1a and 1b) in the presence of methylaluminoxane (MAO) as a cocatalyst; these activities can be compared to that of isopropylene[9-fluorenyl-cyclopentadienyl]zirconium dichloride (3a). The activity of catalyst 1a was comparable to that of 3a but much higher than that of 2a. In addition, 1a shows higher norbornene insertion performance, and gives an E-N copolymer with a higher glass transition temperature (Tg) than 2a under identical conditions; both 1a and 2a give a lower Tg polymer than 3a does.  相似文献

A detailed study, involving the synthesis of a single-source precursor containing two metal ions sharing the same crystallographic site, has been undertaken to elucidate the use of such a single-source precursor in a CVD process for growing thin films of oxides comprising these two metals, ensuring a uniform composition and distribution of metal ions. The substituted complexes Cr1−xAlx(acac)3, where acac = acetylacetonate, have been prepared by a co-synthesis method, and characterized using UV–Vis spectroscopy, TGA/DTA measurements, and single crystal X-ray diffraction at low temperature. All the studied compositions crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/c with Z = 4 in the unit cell. It was observed that the ratio (Al:Cr) of the site occupancy for the metal ions, obtained from single crystal refinement, is in agreement with the results obtained from complexometric titrations. All the solid state structures have the metal in an octahedral environment forming six-membered chelate rings. M–O acac bond lengths and disorder in the terminal carbon have been studied in detail for these substituted metal–organic complexes. One composition among these was chosen to evaluate their suitability as a single-source precursor in a LPMOCVD process (low-pressure metal–organic chemical vapour deposition) for the deposition of a substituted binary metal oxide thin film. The potential effect of human exposure to carbonaceous nanomaterials (e.g., fullerenes or their derivatives) in the environment has become a concern. In the current study, we report the interaction of one water-soluble fullerene with bovine serum albumin using spectroscopic and electrochemical methods under aqueous solutions. The novel supramolecular inclusion complex of the water-soluble fullerene (β-CD)2/C60 was synthesized and characterized. In the mechanism discussed, the spectroscopic methods such as fluorescence quenching and ultraviolet-visible absorption, proved that the fluorescence quenching of BSA by (β-CD)2/C60 was the result of the formation of (β-CD)2/C60-BSA complex and that the mechanism of quenching might be a static quenching procedure. The binding constants Ka, the number of binding sites n, and the corresponding thermodynamic parameters ΔG, ΔH, and ΔS at different temperatures were calculated through fluorescence spectroscopy, then as an auxiliary method, the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) experiments confirmed this conclusion. The results indicated that the electrostatic interactions play a major role in (β-CD)2/C60-BSA association. The circular dichroism spectra show the conformation change of the effect of (β-CD)2/C60 on the conformation of BSA, which was confirmed by the results of the three-dimensional fluorescence spectra. Site marker competitive experiments indicate that the binding of (β-CD)2/C60 to BSA primarily took place in site I. The distance r between donor (BSA) and acceptor ((β-CD)2/C60) was obtained according to fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET). This work aims to demonstrate the mechanisms of the formation of the complex between water-soluble fullerene and protein under physiological conditions, as well as the remediation for the possible unwarranted biological effects of water-soluble fullerene.  相似文献

N-phenyl-3-substituted-5-pyrazolone derivatives have been examined as thermal stabilizers or co-stabilizers for rigid PVC in air, at 180 °C. Their high stabilizing efficiency is detected by their high induction period values (Ts) when compared with some of the common reference stabilizers used industrially, such as dibasic lead carbonate, calcium-zinc soap and n-octyl tin mercaptide. Blending these derivatives with some of the reference stabilizers in different ratios had a synergistic effect on both the induction period and the dehydrochlorination rate.A probable mechanism for the stabilizing mode of N-phenyl-3-substituted-5-pyrazolone derivatives has been proposed. The stabilizing efficiency is attributed at least partially to the ability of the organic stabilizer to be incorporated in the polymeric chains, thus disrupting the chain degradation.  相似文献

Profiles of temperature programmed reduction (TPR) of V2O5 under H2 have been studied through water analysis. This new approach enhances the sensitivity of the method. The influence of experimental parameters on the temperature corresponding to the maximum reduction rate,T m, has been studied. The hydrogen concentration and heating rate are the two major factors that influenceT m. In our method, the amount of solid and the flow rate are also important factors in monitoring of profile distortions attributed to water condensation at the outlet of the reactor. An approach of the mechanism of reduction of V2O5 has been carried out. The best kinetic model which describes the reduction rocess is the Avrami-Erofeev tridimensional nucleation model.  相似文献

Composition-induced structural phase changes across the high temperature, fast oxide ion conducting (Ba1−xLax)2In2O5+x, 0?x?0.6, system have been carefully analysed using hard mode infrared (IR) powder absorption spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction and electron diffraction. An orthorhombic brownmillerite to three-dimensionally disordered cubic perovskite phase transition in this system is signalled by a drastic change in slope of both wavenumber and average line widths of IR spectra as a function of composition. Some evidence is found for the existence of an intermediate tetragonal phase (previously reported to exist from electron diffraction data) around x∼0.2. The new spectroscopic data have been used to compare microscopic and macroscopic strain parameters arising from variation in composition. The strain and spectroscopic data are consistent with first-order character for the tetragonal→orthorhombic transition, while the cubic→tetragonal transition could be continuous. Differences between the variation with composition of spectral parameters and of macroscopic strain parameters are consistent with a substantial order/disorder component for the transitions. There is also evidence for precursor effects within the cubic structure before symmetry is broken.  相似文献

Single crystals of KNbO3 (KN), KTaO3 (KT), and KTa1−xNbxO3 (x=0.44, KTN) have been prepared by hydrothermal synthesis in highly concentrated KOH mineralizer solutions. The traditional problems of inhomogeneity, non-stoichiometry, crystal striations and crystal cracking resulting from phase transitions associated with this family compounds are minimized by the hydrothermal crystal growth technique. Crystals of good optical quality with only minor amounts of metal ion reduction can be grown this way. Reactions were also designed to provide homogeneous distribution of tantalum and niobium metal centers throughout the KTN crystal lattice to maximize its electro-optic properties. Synthesis was performed at relatively low (500-660 °C) temperatures in comparison to the flux and Czochralski techniques. This work represents the largest crystals of this family of compounds grown by hydrothermal methods to date.  相似文献

A series of lithium europium double tungsto-molybdate phosphors LiEu(WO4)2−x(MoO4)x (x=0, 0.4, 0.8, 1.2, 1.6, 2.0) have been synthesized by solid-state reactions and their crystal structure, optical and luminescent properties were studied. As the molybdate content increases, the intensity of the 5D07F2 emission of Eu3+ activated at wavelength of 396 nm was found to increase and reach a maximum when the relative ratio of Mo/W is 2:0. These changes were found to be accompanied with the changes in the spectral feature, which can be attributed to the crystal field splitting of the 5D07F2 transition. As the molybdate content increases the emission intensity of the 615 nm peak also increases. The intense red-emission of the tungstomolybdate phosphors under near-UV excitation suggests them to be potential candidate for white light generation by using near-UV LEDs. In this study the effect of chemical compositions and crystal structure on the photoluminescent properties of LiEu(WO4)2−x(MoO4)x is investigated and discussed.  相似文献

Electrochemically modulated liquid chromatography (EMLC) manipulates analyte retention by changing the potential applied (Eapp) to a conductive stationary phase. This paper applies EMLC to the separation of a set of seven triazines which are commonly used but environmentally hazardous herbicides. Experiments herein examine the influence of Eapp and the pH of the mobile phase on triazine retention. The results are discussed in terms of: (1) retention of triazines of dissimilar acid strengths and by correlations with the pH of the mobile phase; (2) how changes in Eapp and acid–base equilibria modulate elution; (3) qualitative insights into EMLC-based retention; and (4) potential merits of EMLC in realizing the rapid separation of the seven-component triazine mixture.  相似文献

Cathode materials Li[CoxMn1−x]O2 for lithium secondary batteries have been prepared by a new route—precursor method of layered double hydroxides (LDHs). In situ high-temperature X-ray diffraction (HT-XRD) and thermogravimetric analysis coupled with mass spectrometry (TG-MS) were used to monitor the structural transformation during the reaction of CoMn LDHs and LiOH·H2O: firstly the layered structure of LDHs transformed to an intermediate phase with spinel structure; then the distortion of the structure occurred with the intercalation of Li+ into the lattice, resulting in the formation of layered Li[CoxMn1−x]O2 with α-NaFeO2 structure. Extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) data showed that the Co-O bonding length and the coordination number of Co were close to those of Mn in Li[CoxMn1−x]O2, which indicates that the local environments of the transitional metals are rather similar. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was used to measure the oxidation state of Co and Mn. The influences of Co/Mn ratio on both the structure and electrochemical property of Li[CoxMn1−x]O2 have been investigated by XRD and electrochemical tests. It has been found that the products synthesized by the precursor method demonstrated a rather stable cycling behavior, with a reversible capacity of 122.5 mAh g−1 for the layered material Li[Co0.80Mn0.20]O2.  相似文献
