The addition of halide anions (X' = Cl(-), Br(-), or I(-)) to perhalocyclohexasilane Si(6)X(12) (X = Cl or Br) led to the formation of complexes comprising [Si(6)X(12)X'(2)](2-) dianions. An upfield shift in the (29)Si NMR spectra was noted upon coordination, and structural determination by X-ray crystallography showed that the dianions adopt an "inverse sandwich" structure where the six cyclic silicon atoms form a planar hexagon with the two halide anions X' located on the 6-fold axis equally disposed above and below the plane of the Si(6) ring. Additionally, these apical X' atoms are within the van der Waals bonding distance to the silicon ring atoms, indicating a strong interaction between X' and silicon atoms. These results detail crystallographic variations within the halogen series providing further insight into the nature of the Lewis acid sites above and below the Si(6)X(12) ring, where interactions with hard Lewis bases such as halide anions are observed. Interestingly, the stereochemistry of the silicon atoms in [Si(6)X(12)X'(2)](2-) is not affected much by the size or electronegativity of the halogen atoms.  相似文献

Pentanuclear linear chain Pt(II,III) complexes [[Pt2(NH3)2X2((CH3)3CCONH)2(CH2COCH3)]2[PtX'4]].nCH3COCH3 (X = X' = Cl, n = 2 (1a), X = Cl, X' = Br, n = 1 (1b), X = Br, X' = Cl, n = 2 (1c), X = X' = Br, n = 1 (1d)) composed of a monomeric Pt(II) complex sandwiched by two amidate-bridged Pt dimers were synthesized from the reaction of the acetonyl dinuclear Pt(III) complexes having equatorial halide ligands [Pt2(NH3)2X2((CH3)3CCONH)2(CH2COCH3)]X' ' (X = Cl (2a), Br (2b), X' ' = NO3-, CH3C6H4SO3-, BF4-, PF6-, ClO4-), with K2[PtX'4] (X' = Cl, Br). The X-ray structures of 1a-1d show that the complexes have metal-metal bonded linear Pt5 structures, and the oxidation state of the metals is approximately Pt(III)-Pt(III)...Pt(II)...Pt(III)-Pt(III). The Pt...Pt interactions between the dimer units and the monomer are due to the induced Pt(II)-Pt(IV) polarization of the Pt(III) dimeric unit caused by the electron withdrawal of the equatorial halide ligands. The density functional theory calculation clearly shows that the Pt...Pt interactions between the dimers and the monomer are made by the electron transfer from the monomer to the dimers. The pentanuclear complexes have flexible Pt backbones with the Pt chain adopting either arch or sigmoid structures depending on the crystal packing.  相似文献

The ligands, PhPNXMe (1), PhPNXPh (2), and PhPNSMe (3), (PhPNX = 2-Ph2P-C6H4CH[double bond, length as m-dash]NC6H4X-2; X = O, S) have been prepared. A range of new ruthenium complexes were synthesised using these and related ligands, namely: [{RuCl(PhPNO)}2Cl] (4), [Ru(PhPNO)2] (5), [RuCl(PhPNXR)(PPh3)]BPh4 [X = O, R = Me (6); X = O, R = Ph (7); X = S, R = Me (8)], [{RuCl(PhPNX'R)}2Cl]X [X' = O, R = Me, X = Cl(-) (9); X' = S, R = Me, X = BPh4(-) or PF6(-) (10)], and [RuCl(PhPNO-eta 6C6H5)]BPh4 (11). The catalytic activity of these complexes with respect to the hydrosilyation of acetophenone and the hydrogenation of styrene has been investigated, giving an insight into the requirements for an active complex in these reactions.  相似文献

Orbital overlap and spin polarization effects in Mo and W [M(2)X(9)](3)(-) halide and in [M(2)X'(3)X' '(6)](3)(-) mixed-halide systems have been investigated by means of density-functional calculations performed on the S = 0, S = 3, and reference states of these species. For the regular [M(2)X(9)](3)(-) systems, a strong linear correlation between the two factors has been obtained, and decreasing trends in both the overlap energy and the spin polarization energy upon descending the halide group have been observed. These trends can be related to the changes in the size and covalency of the ligands and in the nature of the metal-bridge interaction. For the mixed-ligand [M(2)X'(3)X' '(6)](3)(-) systems, important deviations (from the behavior of the regular systems), which are apparently the result of particular structural and energetic characteristics, have been observed.  相似文献

Treatment of P(X)(X')Cl with KC8 gave the crystalline diphosphine [P(X)X']2 (1) which dissociated reversibly into the phosphinyl radical *P(X)X' (2), a plausible intermediate in the reaction of with [Cr(CO)6], [Co(NO)(CO)3] or P4, yielding [Cr[P(X)X']2(CO)3] (3), [Co[P(X)X'](CO)3] (4), or 1,4-P4[P(X)X']2 (5); the P(X)X' substituent is pyramidal at P in but planar in [X = N(SiMe3)2, X'= NPri2].  相似文献

The recent development of structural and functional analogues of the DMSO reductase family of isoenzymes allows mechanistic examination of the minimal oxygen atom transfer paradigm M(IV) + QO M(VI) O + Q with the biological metals M = Mo and W. Systematic variation of the electronic environment at the WIV center of desoxo bis(dithiolene) complexes is enabled by introduction of para-substituted phenyl groups in the equatorial (eq) dithiolene ligand and the axial (ax) phenolate ligand. The compounds [W(CO)2(S2C2(C6H4-p-X)2)2] (54-60%) have been prepared by ligand transfer from [Ni(S2C2(C6H4-p-X)2)2] to [W(CO)3(MeCN)3]. A series of 25 complexes [W(IV)(OC6H4-p-X')(S2C2(C6H4-p-X)2)2]1- ([X4,X'], X = Br, F, H, Me, OMe; X' = CN, Br, H, Me, NH2; 41-53%) has been obtained by ligand substitution of five dicarbonyl complexes with five phenolate ligands. Linear free energy relationships between E1/2 and Hammett constant p for the electron-transfer series [Ni(S2C2(C6H4-p-X)2)2]0,1-,2- and [W(CO)2(S2C2(C6H4-p-X)2)2]0,1-,2- demonstrate a substituent influence on electron density distribution at the metal center. The reactions [WIV(OC6H4-p-X')(S2C2(C6H4-p-X)2)2]1- + (CH2)4SO [W(VI)O(OC6H4-p-X')(S2C2(C6H4-p-X)2)2]1- + (CH2)4S with constant substrate are second order with large negative activation entropies indicative of an associative transition state. Rate constants at 298 K adhere to the Hammett equations log(k([X4,X']/k[X4,H]) = rho(ax)sigma(p) and log(k[X4,X']/k([H4,X']) = 4rho(eq)sigma(p). Electron-withdrawing groups (EWG) and electron-donating groups (EDG) have opposite effects on the rate such that k(EWG) > k(EDG). The effects of X' on reactivity are found to be approximately 5 times greater than that of X (rho(ax) = 2.1, rho(eq) = 0.44) in the Hammett equation. Using these and other findings, a stepwise oxo transfer reaction pathway is proposed in which an early transition state, of primary W(IV)-O(substrate) bond-making character, is rate-limiting. This is followed by a six-coordinate substrate complex and a second transition state proposed to involve atom and electron transfer leading to the development of the W(VI)=O group. This work is the most detailed mechanistic investigation of oxo transfer mediated by a biological metal.  相似文献

A series of iodo- and hydroxorhodium(I) complexes of the general composition trans-[RhX(=C=C=CRR')(PiPr3)2] (X = I: 5-7; X = OH: 8-11) was prepared from the related chlororhodium(I) precursors. The hydroxo compounds behave as organometallic Br?nsted bases and react with acids like MeCO2H, PhCO2H, PhOH, or TsOH by elimination of water to give the substitution products trans-[RhX'(=C=C=CRR')(PiPr3)2] (X' = MeCO2: 12, 13; X' = PhCO2: 14; X' = PhO: 15, 16; X' = TsO: 17, 18) in good to excellent yields. In contrast to the tosylates 17, 18, which react with CO by cleavage of the allenylidene-metal bond to give trans-[Rh(OTs)(CO)(PiPr3)2] (19), treatment of the acetato and phenolato derivatives 12, 13 and 15, 16 with CO affords by migratory insertion of the allenylidene unit into the Rh-O bond the alkynyl complexes trans-[Rh[C(triple bond)CCR(R')X'](CO)(PiPr3)2] (X' = MeCO2: 20, 21; X' = OPh: 22, 23). Similarly, the reactions of the hydroxo compounds 8, 10, and 11 with CH2(CN)2 and either CO or CNMe yield the carbonyl and the isocyanide complexes trans-[Rh[C(triple bond)CCR(R')CH(CN)2](L')(PiPr3)2] (L' = CO: 25-27; L' = CNMe: 28-30), respectively. By protolytic cleavage of the Rh-C sigma bond the gamma-functionalized alkynes HC(triple bond)CCR(R')CH(CN)2 (31, 32) are generated from 25, 26 and HCl in benzene. The molecular structure of 22 was determined by X-ray crystallography.

The character and dynamics of the low-lying excited states of [Ru(X)(X')(CO)2(iPr-dab)] (X=X'=Cl or I; X=Me, X'=I; X=SnPh3, X'=Cl; iPr-dab=N, N'-diisopropyl-1,4-diazabutadiene) were studied experimentally by pico- and nanosecond time-resolved IR spectroscopy (TRIR) and (for X=X'=Cl or I) computationally using density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent DFT (TD-DFT) techniques. The lowest allowed electronic transition occurs between 390 and 460 nm and involves charge transfer from the Ru(halide)(CO) 2 unit to iPr-dab, denoted (1)MLCT/XLCT (metal-to-ligand/halide-to-ligand charge transfer). The lowest triplet state is well modeled by UKS-DFT-CPCM calculations, which quite accurately reproduce the excited-state IR spectrum in the nu(CO) region. It has a (3)MLCT/XLCT character with an intraligand (iPr-dab) (3)pipi* admixture. TRIR spectra of the lowest triplet excited state show two nu(CO) bands that are shifted to higher energies from their corresponding ground-state positions. The magnitude of this upward shift increases as a function of the ligands X and X' [(I)2 < (Sn)(Cl) < (Me)(I) < (Cl)2] and reveals increasing contribution of the Ru(CO)2-->dab MLCT character to the excited state. The lowest triplet state of [Ru(Cl)2(CO)2(iPr-dab)] undergoes a approximately 10 ps relaxation that is followed by CO dissociation, producing cis(CO,CH 3CN),trans(Cl,Cl)-[Ru(Cl)2(CH 3CN)(CO)(iPr-dab)] with a unity quantum yield and 7.2 ns lifetime and without any observable intermediate. To our knowledge, this is the first example of a "slow" CO dissociation from a thermally equilibrated triplet charge-transfer excited state.  相似文献

Reactions of organylchalcogenomagnesium halides RYMgX (in situ) (R = Me, Et, Ph; Y = S, Se, Te; X = Br, I) with (halomethyl)trialkoxysilanes X'CH2Si(OR')3 (X' = Cl, I; R' = Me, Et) at reflux in tetrahydrofuran and the systems of tetrahydrofuran-acetonitrile 1:2, and ether-acetonitrile 1:2 are studied. These reactions are shown to lead to formation of mixtures of corresponding organyl(trialkoxysilylmethyl)chalcogenide and -dichalcogenide, bis(trialkoxysilyl methyl)chalcogenide and -dichalcogenide, as well as the contaminants 2,2,6,6-tetraalkoxy-2,6-disila-4-chalcogen-1-oxane, diorganylchalcogenide and -dichalcogenide, and other organic and organosilicon compounds. Composition of the formed mixtures debends considerably on the structure of R, nature of the chalcogen Y (S, Se, Te), and halides X and X' in the initial reagents, and reaction conditions. The most of synthesized and isolated organosilicon chalcogenides are newly obtained compounds.  相似文献

The coloured complexes produced in the systems Pd(II): Sn(II):X:X', where X and X' are different halide ions, have been studied. In bromide/iodide mixtures, palladium(II) reacts with tin(II) species in acidic ethanol media to form a deep purple complex with maximum absorption at 555 nm. This is the basis of a rapid and sensitive spectrophotometric method for the determination of palladium. The complex is stable in the absence of air, but water interferes and must not be present in amounts more than 15% of the total volume of the ethanolic mixture.  相似文献

New ternary and quaternary nitride halides, Ba(2)N(X,X') (X = F, Cl, Br; X' = Br, I), have been synthesized from the high temperature reactions of barium subnitride with the respective barium halides under an inert atmosphere. The former include the first fully characterized barium nitride halides for X other than F, and the latter are the first examples of barium nitride mixed halides. The variation in structure with composition has been investigated by powder X-ray and powder neutron diffraction techniques. The heavier ternary and quaternary nitride halides (X, X' = Cl, Br, I) crystallize in the hexagonal space group R3m, with the anti-α-NaFeO(2) structure. Ba(2)NF forms with both an anti-α-NaFeO(2) structure, in which N(3-) and F(-) are ordered and an anion-disordered simple rock salt structure. The hexagonal polymorph of Ba(2)NF is the only example to date of a nitride fluoride adopting this layered structure. Both the ternary and the quaternary compounds display very weak, temperature independent paramagnetism.  相似文献

A series of cationic T-shaped 14-electron boryl complexes of the type trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt{B(X)X'}](+) (X=Br; X'=ortho-tolyl, tBu, NMe(2), piperidyl, Br; XX'=(NMe(2))(2), catecholato) were synthesized by halide abstraction from trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt(Br){B(X)X'}] (Cy=cyclohexyl) with Na[BAr(f) (4)] (Ar(f)=3,5-(CF(3))(2)C(6)H(3)), K[B(C(6)F(5))(4)], or Na[BPh(4)]. X-ray diffraction studies were performed on all compounds, revealing a subtle correlation between the trans-influence of the boryl moiety and the Pt--H and Pt--C separations. However, no notable agostic C--H interaction with the platinum center was detected. trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt(BCat)](+) (Cat=catecholato), the complex with the shortest Pt--H and Pt--C distances, was treated with Lewis bases (L), forming compounds of the type trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt(L)(BCat)](+), thus proving a decisive influence of the degree of trans-influence exerted by the boryl ligands on the chemical reactivity of the title complexes. Another point that was investigated and clarified is the different behavior of trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt(Br){B(Br)Mes}] (Mes=mesityl) towards K[B(C(6)F(5))(4)] with formation of the borylene species trans-[(Cy(3)P)(2)Pt(Br)(BMes)](+).  相似文献

Although the kinetics and mechanism of metal-mediated oxygen atom (oxo) transfer reactions have been examined in some detail, sulfur atom (sulfido) transfer reactions have not been similarly scrutinized. The reactions [M(IV)(O-p-C(6)H(4)X')(S(2)C(2)Me(2))(2)](1-) + Ph(3)AsQ --> [M(VI)Q(O-p-C(6)H(4)X')(S(2)C(2)Me(2))(2)](1-) + Ph(3)As (M = Mo, W; Q = O, S) with variable substituent X' have been investigated in acetonitrile in order to determine the relative rates of oxo versus sulfido transfer at constant structure (square pyramidal) of the atom acceptor and of atom transfer at constant structure of the atom donor and metal variability of the atom acceptor. All reactions exhibit second-order kinetics and entropies of activation (-25 to -45 eu) consistent with an associative transition state. At parity of atom acceptor, k(2)(S) (0.25-0.75 M(-1)s(-1)) > k(2)(O) (0.023-0.060 M(-1)s(-1)) with M = Mo and k(2)(S) (4.1-66.7 M(-1)s(-1)) > k(2)(O) (1.8-9.8 M(-1)s(-1)) with M = W. At constant atom donor and X', k(2)(W) > k(2)(Mo) with reactivity ratios k(2)(W)/k(2)(Mo) = 78-184 (Q = O) and 16-89 (Q = S). Rate constants refer to 298 K. At constant M and Q, rates increase in the order X' = Me less, similar OMe < H < Br < COMe < CN; increasing electron-withdrawing propensity accelerates reaction rates. The probable transition state involves significant Ph(3)AsQ...M bond-making (X' rate trend) and concomitant As-Q bond weakening (bond energy order As-O > As-S). Orders of oxo and sulfido donor ability of substrates and complexes are deduced on the basis of qualitative reactivity properties determined here and elsewhere. This work complements previous studies of the reaction systems [M(IV)(O-p-C(6)H(4)X')(S(2)C(2)Me(2))(2)](1-)/XO where the substrates are N-oxides and S-oxides and k(2)(W) > k(2)(Mo) at constant substrate also applies. The reaction order of substrates is Me(3)NO > (CH(2))(4)SO > Ph(3)AsS > Ph(3)AsO. This research provides the first quantitative information of metal-mediated sulfido transfer.  相似文献

A theoretical study of the 1:1 and 2:1 complexes of XOOX' (X, X' = H, CH(3)) with the lithium cation has been carried out by means of ab initio computational methods up to the MP2/aug-cc-pVTZ level. The optical rotatory power and NMR parameters (absolute chemical shielding and indirect coupling constants) have been calculated. In addition, the racemization barriers within the complexes formed have been evaluated. Special attention has been paid concerning the differences between the 2:1 homo- and heterochiral complexes.  相似文献

A family of [Pt(II)(diimine)(dithiolate)] complexes of general formula [Pt{X,X'(CO(2)R)(2)-2,2'-bipyridyl}(maleonitriledithiolate)] (where X = 3, 4, or 5 and R = H or Et) have been synthesized, spectroscopically and electrochemically characterized, and attached to a TiO(2) substrate to be tested as solar cell sensitizers. A single-crystal X-ray structure showing a large torsion angle between the bipyridyl rings was determined for [Pt{3,3'(CO(2)Et)(2)-2,2'-bipyridyl}(maleonitriledithiolate)].MeCN. The effect of changing the position of the bipyridyl substituents from 3,3' to 4,4' and 5,5' is discussed with reference to structural and electronic changes seen within the different members of the family of molecules. The first UV/vis/NIR spectroelectrochemical study of complexes of this general formula is discussed. All three complexes (where R = H) were tested as solar cell sensitizers, with the 3,3'-disubstituted bipyridyl complex giving an intermediate dye loading value but superior photovoltaic performance to those of the other two. The performance of this sensitizer is then compared with that of a well-known Ru polypyridyl sensitizer, the ditetrabutylammonium salt of [RuL(2)(NCS)(2)] (L = 2,2'-bipyridyl-4,4'-dicarboxylato), commonly called N719.  相似文献

The set of 1:1 and 2:1 complexes of XOOX' (X, X' = H, CH(3)) with lithium cation has been studied to determine if they are suitable candidates for chiral discrimination in an isotropic medium via nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Conventional nuclear magnetic resonance is unable to distinguish between enantiomers in the absence of a chiral solvent. The criterion for experimental detection is valuated by the isotropic part of nuclear shielding polarisability tensors, related to a pseudoscalar of opposite sign for two enantiomers. The study includes calculations at coupled Hartree-Fock and density functional theory schemes for (17)O nucleus in each compound. Additional calculations for (1)H are also included for some compounds. A huge static homogeneous electric field, perpendicular to the magnetic field of the spectromer, as big as ≈1.7 × 10(8) V m(-1) should be applied to observe a shift of ≈1 ppm for (17)O magnetic shielding in the proposed set of complexes.  相似文献

The tetracyclic dilithio-Si,Si'-oxo-bridged bis(N,N'-methylsilyl-beta-diketiminates) 2 and 3, having an outer LiNCCCNLiNCCCN macrocycle, were prepared from [Li{CH(SiMe(3))SiMe(OMe)(2)}](infinity) and 2 PhCN. They differ in that the substituent at the beta-C atom of each diketiminato ligand is either SiMe(3) (2) or H (3). Each of and has (i) a central Si-O-Si unit, (ii) an Si(Me) fragment N,N'-intramolecularly bridging each beta-diketiminate, and (iii) an Li(thf)(2) moiety N,N'-intermolecularly bridging the two beta-diketiminates (thf = tetrahydrofuran). Treatment of [Li{CH(SiMe(3))(SiMe(2)OMe)}](8) with 2Me(2)C(CN)(2) yielded the amorphous [Li{Si(Me)(2)((NCR)(2)CH)}](n) [R = C(Me)(2)CN] (4). From [Li{N(SiMe(3))C(Bu(t))C(H)SiMe(3)}](2) (A) and 1,3- or 1,4-C(6)H(4)(CN)(2), with no apparent synergy between the two CN groups, the product was the appropriate (mu-C(6)H(4))-bis(lithium beta-diketiminate) 6 or 7. Reaction of [Li{N(SiMe(3))C(Ph)=C(H)SiMe(3)}(tmeda)] and 1,3-C(6)H(4)(CN)(2) afforded 1,3-C(6)H(4)(X)X' (X =CC(Ph)N(SiMe3)Li(tmeda)N(SiMe3)CH; X' = CN(SiMe3)Li(tmeda)NC(Ph)=C(H)SiMe3)(9). Interaction of A and 2[1,2-C(6)H(4)(CN)(2)] gave the bis(lithio-isoindoline) derivative [C6H4C(=NH)N{Li(OEt2)}C=C(SiMe3)C(Bu(t))=N(SiMe3)]2 (5). The X-ray structures of 2, 3, 5 and 9 are presented, and reaction pathways for each reaction are suggested.  相似文献

Cyclopalladated tetranuclear Pd(II) complexes, [Pd2(micro-Cl)2(Y)]2 (Y = L1 or L2; H2L1 = di(2-pyridyl)-2,2'-bithiophene; H2L2 = 5,5'-di(2-pyridyl)-2,2':5',2'-terthiophene), containing two pyridyl-alpha, alpha'-disubstituted derivatives of thiophene were prepared. Treating these products with PR3 and subsequently with NaN3 produced the dinuclear Pd-azido complexes [(PR3)2(N3)Pd-Y-Pd(N3)(PR3)2] (Y = L1 or L2) or a cyclometallated complex [(PR3)(N3)Pd-Y'-Pd(N3)(PR3)] (Y' = C,N-L2). Reactions of these Pd-azido complexes with CN-Ar (Ar = 2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3), 2,6-i-Pr(2)C(6)H(3)) or R-NCS (R = i-Pr, Et, allyl) led to the complexes containing end-on carbodiimido groups [(PMe3)2(N[double bond]C[double bond]N-Ar)Pd-Y-Pd(N[double bond]C[double bond]N-Ar)(PMe3)2] or S-coordinated tetrazole-thiolato groups {(PMe3)2[CN4(R)]S-Pd-Y-Pd-S[CN4)(R)](PMe3)2}. Interestingly, when treated with elemental sulfur, the carbodiimido complexes transformed into the cyclometallated derivatives, [(PMe3)(N[double bond]C[double bond]N-Ar)Pd-Y'-Pd(N[double bond]C[double bond]N-Ar)(PMe3)] (Y' = C,N-L1, C,N-L2). We also report the preparation of linear, thienylene-bridged dinuclear Pd complexes [L2(N3)Pd-X(or X')-Pd(N3)L2] (L = PMe3 or PMe2Ph; H2X = 2,2'-bithiophene or H2X' = 2,2':5',2'-terthiophene) and their reactivity toward organic isocyanide and isothiocyanates.  相似文献
