The potential of nuclear magnetic resonance two-dimensionalT 1-T 2 correlation spectroscopy for quality control in food science is explored for three types of food, namely, egg (white and yolk), cellular tissue (fruit and vegetable) and hydrocolloids (creams and baked products). The properties of polycrystalline CdTe with a grain size of 5–30 μm have been investigated using the microphotoluminescence methods of spectral analysis and topography. This material has been prepared by direct synthesis in a vapor flow of components at a low temperature. The dominance of the Y and Z bands in the spectra reflects a nonequilibrium character of the crystallization processes. The superlinear dependences of the luminescence intensity on the level of the band-to-band excitation indicate the exciton nature of the corresponding transitions. The activation energies for temperature quenching of luminescence in the temperature range T = 100–150 K are found to be 120 meV for the Y luminescence and 180 meV for the Z luminescence, which correspond to the dissociation of excitons bound to defects with the transition of charge carriers to the conduction and valence bands. The monochromatic topography data indicate that Y and Z defects have different material bases.  相似文献

The lineshapes of two-dimensional magnetic resonance spectra of disordered or partially ordered solids are dominated by ridges of singularities in the frequency plane. The positions of these ridges are described by a branch of mathematics known as catastrophe theory concerning the mapping of one 2D surface onto another. We systematically consider the characteristics of HYSCORE spectra for paramagnetic centers having electron spin S=1/2 and nuclear spin I=1 in terms of singularities using an exact solution of the nuclear spin Hamiltonian. The lineshape characteristics are considered for several general cases: zero nuclear quadrupole coupling; isotropic hyperfine but arbitrary nuclear quadrupole couplings; coincident principal axes for the nuclear hyperfine and quadrupole tensors; and the general case of arbitrary nuclear quadrupole and hyperfine tensors. The patterns of singularities in the HYSCORE spectra are described for each case.  相似文献

In the framework of the relativistic mean-field approach, a pseudospin dependence of the residual forces in nuclei is considered. It is shown that this dependence is relatively weak. As a consequence, a pseudospin dependence of the particle-core coupling is weak as well. This leads to a small splitting of the pseudospin doublets produced by a vector coupling of an odd particle pseudospin and a pseudoorbital momentum of the core. Some possibilities for experimental investigation of the manifestations of the pseudospin symmetry in the spectra of odd nuclei with Z ≥ 100 are indicated. A γ-rigid version (with γ = 0) of the X(5) critical point symmetry is constructed. The model, to be called X(3) since it is proved to contain three degrees of freedom, utilizes an infinite well potential, is based on exact separation of variables, and leads to parameter-free (up to overall scale factors) predictions for spectra and B(E2) transition rates which are in good agreement with existing experimental data for 172Os and 186Pt. An unexpected similarity of the β 1 bands of the X(5) nuclei 150Nd, 152Sm, 154Gd, and 156Dy to the X(3) predictions is observed. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

The strong coupling of rho meson to the nucleon produces s- and p-wave rho-meson-nucleon (ρN) resonances. In a nucleus, the ρN-resonance-hole polarization generates the optical potential or self-energy for the ρ meson. The scattering of ρ meson due to this potential provides valuable information about the ρN-resonance dynamics in a nucleus. To investigate it, we use this potential to calculate the mass distribution spectrumfor the ρ meson produced coherently in the proton-nucleus reaction. The cross sections arising due to s- and ρ-wave ρN resonances have been presented. The coherent and incoherent contributions to the cross sections due to these resonances are compared. In addition, the calculated results due to nonrelativistic and relativistic ρ-meson self-energy are illustrated.  相似文献

Compounds in the CrS-FeS system over a wide range of compositions are investigated by Mössbauer spectroscopy. The analysis of the Mössbauer spectra demonstrates that the materials under investigation are substitutional solid solutions with a random distribution of chromium and iron atoms. The assumption is made that the observed broadened Zeeman sextets are superpositions of partial sextets corresponding to iron atoms with different nearest environments. The observed decrease in the hyperfine fields for the broadened sextets with an increase in the chromium content in the samples is in good agreement with a change in the concentration of the corresponding environments.  相似文献

The Raman spectra of SBN crystals were recorded over wide spectral and temperature ranges. It is shown that a central peak representative of relaxation processes is observable in different spectral configurations of Raman measurements and cannot be described in the single relaxation time approximation. In the vicinity of the temperature corresponding to the onset of nucleation of polar regions (the Burns temperature), no specific features in the behavior of the central peak were observed.  相似文献

Narcolepsy causes dramatic behavioral alterations in both humans and dogs, with excessive sleepiness and cataplexy triggered by emotional stimuli. Deficiencies in the hypocretin system are well established as the origin of the condition; both from studies in humans who lack the hypocretin ligand (HCRT) and in dogs with a mutation in hypocretin receptor 2 (HCRTR2). The transverse momentum distributions of W± and Z0 are predicted at RHIC and LHC. A resummation formalism with power corrections to the renormalization group equations is used. Shadowing effects are discussed and found to be unimportant at RHIC, but important for LHC. We study the enhancement of power corrections due to multiple scattering in nuclear collisions and numerically illustrate the weak effects of the dependence on the nuclear mass.  相似文献

We revisit the determination of α S (m τ 2) using a fit to inclusive τ hadronic spectral moments in light of (1) the recent calculation of the fourth-order perturbative coefficient K 4 in the expansion of the Adler function, (2) new precision measurements from BABAR of e+e annihilation cross sections, which decrease the uncertainty in the separation of vector and axial-vector spectral functions, and (3) improved results from BABAR and Belle on τ branching fractions involving kaons. We estimate that the fourth-order perturbative prediction reduces the theoretical uncertainty, introduced by the truncation of the series, by 20% with respect to earlier determinations. We discuss to some detail the perturbative prediction of two different methods: fixed-order perturbation theory (FOPT) and contour-improved perturbative theory (CIPT). The corresponding theoretical uncertainties are studied at the τ and Z mass scales. The CIPT method is found to be more stable with respect to the missing higher order contributions and to renormalization scale variations. It is also shown that FOPT suffers from convergence problems along the complex integration contour. Nonperturbative contributions extracted from the most inclusive fit are small, in agreement with earlier determinations. Systematic effects from quark-hadron duality violation are estimated with simple models and found to be within the quoted systematic errors. The fit based on CIPT gives α S (m τ 2)=0.344±0.005±0.007, where the first error is experimental and the second theoretical. After evolution to M Z we obtain α S (M Z 2)=0.1212±0.0005±0.0008±0.0005, where the errors are respectively experimental, theoretical and due to the evolution. The result is in agreement with the corresponding N3LO value derived from essentially the Z width in the global electroweak fit. The α S (M Z 2) determination from τ decays is the most precise one to date.  相似文献

The LEP2 data set on the Bhabha process is analyzed with the aim to detect the signals of the heavy virtual Z′ gauge boson. The state interacting with the left-handed Standard Model doublets and called the chiral Z′ is investigated. This particle was introduced already as the low-energy state allowed by the renormalizability. The contribution of the chiral-Z′ state to the Bhabha process is described by two parameters: the coupling to electrons and the ZZ′ mixing angle. The sign-definite one-parameter observable is proposed to measure the Z′ coupling to the electron current. The one-parameter fit of the data shows no signals of the particle. The alternative two-parameter fit of the differential cross sections is also performed. It also shows no chiral-Z′ signals. The comparisons with other fits are discussed. The (1 + 1)-dimensional nonlinear O(3) σ model involving an explicitly broken symmetry is considered. Sphalerons are known to exist in this model. These sphalerons are of a topological origin and are embedded kinks of the sine-Gordon model. In the case of a compact spatial manifold S 1, sine-Gordon multikinks exist in the model. It is shown that the model admits a nonstatic generalization of the sine-Gordon kink/multikink, Q kink/multikink. Explicit expressions are obtained for the dependence of the Q kink energy and charge on the phase frequency of rotation. The Q kink is studied for stability, and expressions are obtained for the eigenfunctions and eigenfrequencies of the operator of quadratic fluctuations. It is shown that the Q kink is unstable over the entire admissible frequency range ω ∈ [−1, 1]. The one-loop quantum correction to the static-kink mass is calculated, and the Q-kink zero mode is quantized. It is shown that, in a general static case, the field equations of the model are integrable in quadratures.  相似文献

The 3d gluodynamics which governs the large-T quark—gluon plasma is studied in the framework of the field correlator method. Field correlators and spacial string tension are derived through the gluelump Green’s functions. The glueball spectrum is calculated both in C = −1 as well as in C = +1 sectors, and multigluon bound states in the form of “gluon rings” and “gluon stars” are computed explicitly. An extended three-body force shell model (ETSM) has been applied to investigate the static and dynamic properties of KCN x Cl1−x for the compositionx = 0.56 and 1.0 at 300 K. The phonon dispersion curves computed by us are compared with the single crystal neutron diffraction data. The unusual features of these curves are the upward curvature seen in some of the acoustic branches. This is a result ofK-dependent softening of the phonon due to translation-rotation coupling. The transverse acoustic branch is more soft near the zone centre.  相似文献

For higher-derivative f(R) gravity, where R is the Ricci scalar, a class of models is proposed, which produce viable cosmology different from the ACDM at recent times and satisfy cosmological, Solar System, and laboratory tests. These models have both flat and de Sitter spacetimes as particular solutions in the absence of matter. Thus, a cosmological constant is zero in a flat spacetime, but appears effectively in a curved one for sufficiently large R. A “smoking gun” for these models would be a small discrepancy in the values of the slope of the primordial perturbation power spectrum determined from galaxy surveys and CMB fluctuations. On the other hand, a new problem for dark energy models based on f(R) gravity is pointed out, which is connected with the possible overproduction of new massive scalar particles (scalarons) arising in this theory in the very early Universe. The algebraic structure including the generators, the Casimir operators of the groups at theSU(5) dynamical symmetry and the branching rules of the irreducible representation reductions along the group chain are obtained.
