We investigate the DO-D-O mixing through the doubly Cabibbo suppressed (DCS) channel DO→fO(980)K*O and its charge conjugate channel,in which the K*O meson is reconstructed in both K+π- and KsπO final state.Although the decay DO→ fo(980)K* has a small branching ratio, the final state mesons are relatively easy to identify. The fo(980) meson can be replaced by the S-wave π+π- state,or a longitudinally polarized vector meson pO.All mixing parameters, including the mass difference and decay width difference, can be extracted by studying the time-dependent decay width of these channels. We show that the method is valid in all regions for mixing parameters and it does not depend on the strong phase difference.  相似文献

We investigate the D0-D0 mixing through the doubly Cabibbo suppressed (DCS) channel D0→f0(980)K*0 and its charge conjugate channel, in which the K*0 meson is reconstructed in both K+π and K0 final state. Although the decay D0→f0(980)K* has a small branching ratio, the final state mesons are relatively easy to identify. The f0(980) meson can be replaced by the S-wave π+π state, or a longitudinally polarized vector meson ρ0. All mixing parameters, including the mass difference and decay width difference, can be extracted by studying the time-dependent decay width of these channels. We show that the method is valid in all regions for mixing parameters and it does not depend on the strong phase difference.  相似文献

Abstract In this article, we take the point of view that the light scalar meson a_0(980) is a conventional qq state, and calculate the coupling constants g_(a_0ηπ~0) and g_(a_0η'π~0) with the light-cone QCD sum rules. The central value of the coupling constant g_(a_0ηπ~0) is consistent with that extracted from the radiative decay φ(1020) → a_0(980)γ→ηπ~oγ. The central value and lower bound of the decay width Γ_(α_0→ηπ~0) = 127_(-48)~(+84) MeV are compatible with the experimental data of the total decay width Γ_(α_0(980))= (50-100) MeV from the Particle Data Group with a very model dependent estimation (the decay width can be much larger), while the upper bound is too large. We give a possible explanation for the discrepancy between the theoretical calculation and experimental data.  相似文献

We study theoretically the quantum effects of the littlest Higgs model (LH) mediated by flavor changing one-loop Feynman diagrams on the rare decay process t→ cH^0. The comparison of the decay width in the LH model with that in the standard model (SM) is made. We find that the decay branch ratio of t→ cH^0 in the LH model is at most of the order-10^-12, which is two order larger than in the SM. The numerical results show that the difference between the branch ratios in the LH model and the SM is generally sensitive to the LH model parameters, such as symmetry breaking scale f, Higgs boson mass mH0, and x=v'4f/v^2 in our chosen parameter space, but relatively insensitive to the value choice of the cosine of the mixing angle c and the ratio λ1/λ2.  相似文献

We report on a theoretical study of the π~-ρ→α1(1260)p and π~-ρ→π~-ρ~0p reactions near threshold within an effective Lagrangian approach. The production process is described by t-channel ρ~0 meson exchange. For the π~-ρ→π~- ρ~0p reaction, the final π~-ρ~0 results from the decay of the α1(1260) resonance, which is assumed as a dynamically generated state from the K* K and ρπ coupled channel interactions. We calculate the total cross section of the π~-ρ→α1(1260)p reaction. It is shown that, with the coupling constant of the α1(1260) to ρπ channel obtained from the chiral unitary theory and a cut off parameter Δρ~1.5 GeV in the form factors, the experimental measurement can be reproduced.Furthermore, the total and differential cross sections of π~p→α1(1260)p→π~ρ~0p reaction are evaluated, and it is expected that our model calculations can be tested by future experiments. These reactions are important for the study of the α1(1260) resonance and would provide further constraints on the properties of the α1(1260) state.  相似文献

Recently, both BaBar and Belle experiments found evidences of neutral D mixing. In this paper, we discuss the sensitivities of the measurements of D mixing parameters at BES-Ⅲ.With CP tag technique atψ(3770)peak,the extraction of the strong phase difference in D~0→Kπdecay at BES-Ⅲare discussed. We also make an estimate on the measurements of the mixing rate R_M by using the coherent data atψ(3770)peak. The CP violation in D system is predicted with an unobserved level in the Standard Model.Any significant CP violation in the D system indicates the existence of new physics. The sensitivity of the measurements of CP violation in the D system is estimated in the coherent D decays. Finally, the search for the rare D decays are discussed,in which some of the forbidden decays are smoking gun of new physics.  相似文献

We calculate the D~0-~0 mixing parameter y in the factorization-assisted topological-amplitude(FAT)approach, considering contributions from D~0→PP, PV, and VV modes, where P(V) stands for a pseudoscalar(vector) meson. The D~0→PP and PV decay amplitudes are extracted in the FAT approach, and the D~0→VV decay amplitudes with final states in the longitudinal polarization are estimated via the parameter set for D~0→PV. It is found that the VV contribution to y, being of order of 10-4, is negligible, and that the PP and PV contributions amount only up to y_(PP+PV) =(0.21±0.07)%, a prediction more precise than those previously obtained in the literature, and much lower than the experimental data y_(exp) =(0.61 ±0.08)%. We conclude that D~0 meson decays into other two-body and multi-particle final states are relevant to the evaluation of y, so it is difficult to understand it fully in an exclusive approach.  相似文献

Inspired by the recent measurement of the process e~+e~-→∧■,we calculate the mass spectrum of the 0 meson with the GI model. For the excited vector strangeonium states ?(3 S,4 S,5 S,6 S) and ?(2 D,3 D,4 D,5 D),we investigate the electronic decay width with the Van Royen-Weisskopf formula, and the partial widths of the ∧■,■,and■ decay modes with the extended quark-pair creation model. We find that the electronic decay width of the D-wave vector strangeonium is about 3~8 times larger than of the S-wave vector strangeonium.Around 2232 Me V,the partial decay width of the ∧■ mode can be up to several MeV for ?(3~3 S_1),while the partial ∧■ decay width of ?(2~3 D_1) is O(10~(-3)) keV.If the threshold enhancement reported by the BESIII collaboration arises from the strangeonium meson, this state is very likely the ?(3~3 S_1) state. We also note that the ∧■ and∑~+■partial decay widths of the states ?(3~3 D_1) and ?(4~3 S_1) are several MeV,which is sufficient to be observed in future experiments.  相似文献

Last year, the Ξ(1620) state, which is cataloged in the Particle Data Group(PDG) with only one star, was reported again in the Ξ~-π~+final state by the Belle Collaboration. Its properties, such as the spectroscopy and decay width, cannot be simply explained in the context of conventional constituent quark models. This inspires an active discussion on the structure of this resonance. In this paper,we study the radiative decays of the newly observed Ξ(1620) assuming that it is a meson-baryon molecular state of AK and with spin-parity J~P=1/2~-developed in our previous study. The partial decay widths of the AK-ΣK molecular state into Ξγ and Ξπγ final states through hadronic loops are evaluated using effective Lagrangians. The partial widths for Ξ(1620)~0→γΞ is evaluated to be approximately 118.76-174.21 keV,which may be accessible for the LHCb experiment. If Ξ(1620) is aΛK-∑K molecule, the radiative transition strength Ξ(1620)~0→γKA is considerably small and the decay width is of the order of 0.01 eV.Future experimental measurements of these processes can be useful to test the molecule interpretations of the Ξ(1620).  相似文献

The effect of tensor interaction due to gluon and Goldstone boson exchange on the dibaryon mass and decay width has been studied in the framework of the quark delocalization and colour screening model. The effective S-D wave transition interactions induced by gluon and Goldstone boson exchanges decrease quickly with the increasing channel strangeness, and there is no six-quark state in the light flavour world, which can become a bound one by the help of these tensor interactions, except for the deuteron. The K and η meson exchange effect has been shown to be negligible after a short-range truncation in this model approach. The partial D-wave decay widths, from the NΩ state to the AΞ final states of spins 0 and 1, are 20.7 keV and 63.1 keV respectively. This is a very narrow dibaryon resonance, that might be detected in the relativistic heavy ion reaction by the existing RHIC detectors through the reconstruction of the AΞ vertex mass and by the future COMPAS detector at CERNand the FAIR project in Germany.  相似文献

In the qq quark model, the states π2(1670) and η2(1645) are assigned as the I1D2 meson nonet. The partner of state η2(1645) needs further confirmation in the experiments. We employ the meson-meson mixing and the Regge trajectory methods to calculate the mass of the partner of state η2 (1645) to be 1879.8 MeV and 1863 ± 24 MeV respectively. We also calculate the strong decay width in the 3po decay model. These predictions can be compared with experiments in the future.  相似文献

We perform calculations for theB~0_s→J/ψπ~0f_0(980) andB~0_s→J/ψπ~0a_0(980) reactions, showing that the first is isospin-suppressed while the second is isospin-allowed. The reaction proceeds via a triangle mechanism, with B~0_s→J/ψK* Kˉ+c.c., followed by the decay K*→Kπ and a further fusion of K Kˉ into the f0(980) or a0(980). We show that the mechanism develops a singularity around the π~0f_0(980) or πa_0(980) invariant mass of 1420 Me V, where the π~0f_0 and π~0a_0 decay modes are magnified and also the ratio of π~0f_0 to π~0a_0 production. Using experimental information for theB~0_s→J/ψK* Kˉ+c.c. decay, we are able to obtain absolute values for the reactions studied which fall into the experimentally accessible range. The reactions proposed and the observables evaluated, when contrasted with actual experiments, should be very valuable to obtain information on the nature of the low lying scalar mesons.  相似文献

The potential of the B meson and the pseudoscalar meson is constructed up to the next-to-leading order Lagrangian, and then the BK and B_sπ interaction is studied in the unitary coupled-channel approximation. A resonant state with a mass about 5568 MeV and J~P= 0~+is generated dynamically, which can be associated with the X(5568) state announced by the D0 Collaboration recently. The mass and the decay width of this resonant state depend on the regularization scale in the dimensional regularization scheme, or the maximum momentum in the momentum cutoff regularization scheme. The scattering amplitude of the vector B meson and the pseudoscalar meson is calculated, and an axial-vector state with a mass near 5620 MeV and J~P= 1~+is produced. Their partners in the charm sector are also discussed.  相似文献

In contrast with B0-ˉB0, Bs-ˉBs mixing where the standard model(SM) contributions overwhelm that of the new physics beyond standard model(BSM), a measured relatively large D0-ˉD0mixing where the SM contribution is negligible, definitely implies the existence of the new physics BSM. It is natural to consider that the rare decays of D meson might be more sensitive to new physics, and the decay mode D0→μ+μ-could be an ideal area to search for new physics because it is a flavor changing process. In this work we look for a trace of the new physics BSM in the leptonic decays of D0. Concretely we discuss the contributions of unparticle or an extra gauge boson Z while imposing the constraints set by fitting the D0-ˉD0mixing data. We find that the long-distance SM effects for D0→lˉl still exceed those contributions of the BSM under consideration, but for a double-flavor changing process such as D0→μ±e, the new physics contribution would be significant.  相似文献

The data collected by the KLOE Collaboration at the Frascati φ-factory DAΦNE from 2001 to 2006 have been used for extensive studies in meson spectroscopy. The decays of the scalar mesons a0(980) and f0(980) into two pseudoscalar mesons have been exploited to measure the relevant parameters of those resonances. The radiative decays φ→ηγ and ηγ have been used for the determination of the pseudoscalar mixing angle and to search for a possible gluonium content in the η.The dynamics of the η→ 3π decay has been studied and the Dalitz Plot parameters have been measured. The large amount of η mesons produced allowed also to study interesting rare η decays.  相似文献
