Phosphine exchange of [RuIIBr(MeCOO)(PPh3)2(3‐RBzTh)] (3‐RBzTh=3‐benzylbenzothiazol‐2‐ylidene) with a series of diphosphines (bis(diphenylphosphino)methane (dppm), 1,2‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ethylene (dppv), 1,1′‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene (dppf), 1,4‐bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (dppb), and 1,3‐(diphenylphosphino)propane (dppp)) gave mononuclear and neutral octahedral complexes [RuBr(MeCOO)(η2‐P2)(3‐RBzTh)] (P2=dppm ( 2 ), dppv ( 3 ), dppf ( 4 ), dppb ( 5 ), or dppp ( 6 )), the coordination spheres of which contained four different ligands, namely, a chelating diphosphine, carboxylate, N,S‐heterocyclic carbene (NSHC), and a bromide. Two geometric isomers of 6 ( 6a and 6 b ) have been isolated. The structures of these products, which have been elucidated by single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography, show two structural types, I and II, depending on the relative dispositions of the ligands. Type I structures contain a carbenic carbon atom trans to the oxygen atom, whereas two phosphorus atoms are trans to bromine and oxygen atoms. The type II system comprises a carbene carbon atom trans to one of the phosphorus atoms, whereas the other phosphorus is trans to the oxygen atom, with the bromine trans to the remaining oxygen atom. Complexes 2 , 3 , 4 , and 6a belong to type I, whereas 5 and 6 b are of type II. The kinetic product 6 b eventually converts into 6a upon standing. These complexes are active towards catalytic reduction of para‐methyl acetophenone by 2‐propanol at 82 °C under 1 % catalyst load giving the corresponding alcohols. The dppm complex 2 shows the good yields (91–97 %) towards selected ketones.  相似文献

N‐heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) based on imidazole‐2‐ylidene ( 1 ) or the saturated imidazolidine‐2‐ylidene ( 2 ) scaffolds are long‐lived singlet carbenes. Both benefit from inductive stabilization of the sigma lone pair on carbon by neighboring N atoms and delocalization of the N pi lone pairs into the nominally vacant p‐pi atomic orbital at the carbene carbon. With thermochemical schemes G4 and CBS‐QB3, we estimate the relative thermodynamic stabilization of smaller ring carbenes and acyclic species which may share the keys to NHC stability. These include four‐membered ring systems incorporating the carbene center, two trivalent N centers, and either a boron or a phosphorus atom to complete the ring. Amino‐substituted cyclopropenylidenes have been reported but three‐membered rings containing the carbene center and two N atoms are not known. Our calculations suggest that amino‐substituted cyclopropenylidenes are comparable in stability to the four‐membered NHCs but that diazacyclopropanylidenes would be substantially less effectively stabilized. Concluding the series are acyclic carbenes with and without neighboring N atoms and a series of “two‐membered ring” azapropadienenylidene cations of form :C?N?W with W = an electron‐withdrawing agent. We have studied W = NO2, CH2(+), CF2(+), and (CN)2C(+). Although these systems display a degree of stabilization and carbene‐like electronic structure, the stability of the NHCs is unsurpassed. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

Quinoline bridged imidazolium precursors 5,8‐bis(NR‐imidazolylidenylmethylene)quinoline PF6 salts [H2L](PF6)2 [R = Me ( 1a ), R = naphthylmethyl ( 1b )] were prepared by quaternization of N‐methylimidazole and N‐naphthylmethylimidazole with 5,8‐bis(bromomethyl)quinoline, respectively. Reaction of the imidazolium ligands 1a and 1b with Hg(OAc)2 and Ag2O in acetonitrile gave the macrocyclic transition metal carbene complexes [Hg2L2](PF6)4 ( 2a and 2b ) and [Ag2L2](PF6)2 ( 3a and 3b ), respectively. All the N‐heterocyclic carbene complexes were characterized in detail by NMR, ESI‐MS, and elemental analysis. Structures of complexes 2a and 3a were determined by X‐ray diffraction studies. Structural studies revealed that the coordination arrangement of the central mercury atom in complex 2a displays a tricoordinate mode and the molecular conformation results in a“closed” form with the bridging quinoline functionality in the macrocycle, whereas the silver complex 3a does not show an coordiantion between the bridging quinoline and the AgI ion, which results in an “open” conformation of the macrocycle. The HgII and AgI NHC complexes showed similar UV absorption and luminescence in acetonitrile solutions.  相似文献

Two mercury(II) cyanide complexes of N-ethylthiourea (Ettu) and N-propylthiourea (Prtu) ligands, [Hg(Ettu)2(CN)2] (1) and [Hg(Prtu)2(CN)2] (2), were prepared and their crystal structures were determined by X-ray crystallography. In both structures, the mercury atom is coordinated to two sulfur atoms of thioureas and two cyanide carbon atoms in a pseudo-tetrahedral mode with the bond angles in the range of 90.52(11)–162.2(3)°. The structures are stabilized by N-H—S, N-H—N, and C-H—N intramolecular and intermolecular hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The Hg atom in the title monomeric complex, dichlorobis(3‐imidazolium‐2‐thiolato‐S)mercury(II), [HgCl2(C3H4N2S)2], is four‐coordinate having an irregular tetrahedral geometry composed of two Cl atoms [Hg—Cl 2.622 (2) and 2.663 (2) Å] and two thione S atoms [Hg—S 2.445 (2) and 2.462 (2) Å]. The monodentate thione ligand adopts a zwitterionic form and exists as the 3‐imidazolium‐2‐thiolate ion. The bond angle S1—Hg—S2 of 130.87 (8)° has the greatest deviation from ideal tetrahedral geometry. Intermolecular hydrogen bonds between two of the four N—H groups and one of the Cl atoms [3.232 (8) and 3.238 (7) Å] stabilize the crystal structure, while the other two N—H groups contribute through the formation of N—H?Cl intramolecular hydrogen bonds with the other Cl atom [3.121 (7) and 3.188 (7) Å].  相似文献

[Hg(sulfamethoxazolato)2]·2DMSO ( 1 ) and [Cu2(CH3COO)4(sulfa‐methoxazole)2] ( 2 ) can be obtained by the reaction of sulfamethoxazole with mercury acetate or copper acetate in methanol. The structures of the two complexes were characterized by single crystal X—ray diffractometry. Compound 1 consists of sulfamethoxazolato ligands bridging the metal ions building an unidimensional chain. Two solvent dimethylsulfoxide molecules are involved via N‐H···O hydrogen bridges. The mercury atom shows a linear primary coordination arrangement formed by two trans deprotonated sulfonamidic nitrogen atoms. The overall coordination around the metal atom may be regarded as a strongly distorted octahedron when the interactions of mercury with four sulfonamidic oxygen atoms [bond distances of 2.761(4) Å—2.971(4) Å] are also considered to build an equatorial plane and the N1 and N1′ atoms [bond distance of 2.037(5) Å] occupy the apical positions. Compound 2 is a dinuclear complex in which the copper ions are bridged by four syn‐syn acetate ligands which are related by a symmetry centre located in the centre of the complex. Each copper atom presents a nearly octahedral coordination where the equatorial plane is formed by four oxygen atoms and an isoxazolic nitrogen atom and the second copper atom occupy the apical positions.  相似文献

. The complex Hg4(L2)2(NO3)4 ( 1 ) (L2 = morpholin‐4‐ylpyridin‐2‐ylmethyleneamine) has been synthesized and characterized by CHN analysis, IR, and UV/Vis spectroscopy. The crystal structure of 1 was determined using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The crystal structure of 1 contains four mercury atoms, four nitrate anions (two terminal and two bridge ones) and two L2 ligand molecules. A chair shape, six‐membered ring is formed with the sequence OHgHgOHgHg built from Hg–Hg dumbbells and oxygen atoms from the nitrate co‐ligands. In the crystal structure, the asymmetric unit of the compound is built up by one‐half of the molecule. It contains the Hg22+ moiety with a mercury–mercury bonded core, in which one diimine ligand is coordinated to one of the mercury atoms. The nitrate anions act as anisobidentate and bidentate ligands.  相似文献

Mercury(II) exhibits a strong preference for linear coordination which has been attributed to relativistic effects splitting the 6p orbitals and promoting sp hybridization. If the two ligands attached to the mercury(II) ion are weak donors, the metal ion can act as a good Lewis acid and expand its coordination number. Moreover, mercury has a special affinity for softer bases, such as S and N atoms, and has much less affinity for hard bases, such as those including an O atom. The asymmetric unit of dichlorido[tris(piperidin‐1‐yl)phosphane oxide‐κO]mercury(II)–dichloridomercury(II) (2/1), [HgCl2{(C5H10N)3PO}]2·[HgCl2], is composed of one HgCl2{(C5H10N)3PO} complex and one half of a discrete HgCl2 entity located on an inversion centre. The coordination environment around the HgII centre in the complex component is a distorted T‐shape. Bond‐valence‐sum calculations confirm the three‐coordination mode of the HgII atom of the complex molecule. The noncovalent nature of the Hg…Cl and Hg…O interactions in the structure are discussed.  相似文献

A rhodium(II)‐ or copper(I)‐catalyzed formal intramolecular carbene insertion into vinylic C(sp2)−H bonds is reported herein. This method provides straightforward access to 1H ‐indenes with high efficiency and excellent functional‐group compatibility. Mechanistically, the reaction is proposed to involve the following sequence: metal carbene formation, intramolecular nucleophilic addition of the double bond to the electron‐deficient carbene carbon atom, dearomatization, and finally a 1,5‐H shift.  相似文献

The photoionization and dissociative photoionization of Im(iPr)2, 1,3‐diisopropylimidazolin‐2‐ylidene, was investigated by imaging photoelectron photoion coincidence (iPEPICO) with vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) synchrotron radiation. A lone‐pair electron of the carbene carbon atom is removed upon ionization and the molecular geometry changes significantly. Only 0.5 eV above the adiabatic ionization energy, IEad=7.52±0.1 eV, the carbene cation fragments, yielding propene or a methyl radical in parallel dissociation reactions with appearance energies of 8.22 and 8.17 eV, respectively. Both reaction channels appear at almost the same photon energy, suggesting a shared transition state. This is confirmed by calculations, which reveal the rate‐determining step as hydrogen‐atom migration from the isopropyl group to the carbene carbon center forming a resonance‐stabilized imidazolium ion. Above 10.5 eV, analogous sequential dissociation channels open up. The first propene‐loss fragment ion dissociates further and another methyl or propene is abstracted. Again, a resonance‐stabilized imidazolium ion acts as intermediate. The aromaticity of the system is enhanced even in vertical ionization. Indeed, the coincidence technique confirms that a real imidazolium ion is produced by hydrogen transfer over a small barrier. The simple analysis of the breakdown diagram yields all the clues to disentangle the complex dissociative photoionization mechanism of this intermediate‐sized molecule. Photoelectron photoion coincidence is a promising tool to unveil the fragmentation mechanism of larger molecules in mass spectrometry.  相似文献

The sequential reaction of the amino(trimethylsilyl)carbene complex [(CO)5W=C(NH2)C≡CSiMe3] ( 1 ) with nBuLi and [I‐Fe(CO)2Cp] affords the C(carbene)‐N bridged heterobinuclear complex [(CO)5W=C{NHFe(CO)2Cp}C≡CSiMe3] ( 2 ). Desilylation of 1 is achieved by treatment with KF in THF/MeOH. From the reaction of the resulting complex [(CO)5W=C(NH2)C≡CH] ( 3 ) with nBuLi and [I‐Fe(CO)2Cp] two binuclear WFe compounds in a ratio of approximately 1:1 are obtained: the C(carbene)‐C≡C bridged complex 4 and the C(carbene)‐N bridged complex 5 . Repetition of the deprotonation/metallation sequence yields the trinuclear WFe2 complex 6 . One Fe(CO)2Cp fragment in 6 is bonded to the amino group and the other one to the terminal carbon atom of the ethynyl substituent. The analogous reaction of 3 with nBuLi and [Br‐Ni(PMe2Ph)2Mes] gives a ca. 1:1 mixture of two heterobinuclear complexes ( 7 and 8 ). Complex 7 is bridged by the C(carbene)‐C≡C and complex 8 by the C(carbene)‐N fragment. Subsequent reaction of 7 with BuLi and [Br‐Ni(PMe2Ph)2Mes] finally affords the trinuclear WNi2 complex 9 related to 6 . The solid‐state structure of 2 is established by an X‐ray diffraction analysis. The spectroscopic data of the bi‐ and trinuclear complexes indicate electronic communication between the metal centers through the bridging group.  相似文献

The hydrothermal reactions of sodium o‐hydroxybenzoate with AgNO3 yield a novel stable Ag(I) s?‐complex supramolecular polymer, [Ag2(o‐HOPhCO2)2]n. The structure of [Ag2(o‐HOPhCO2)2] was solved by single crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. It is monoclinic with space group P2Jc and unit cell parameters a=0.7394(2) nm, b= 0.8822(2) nm, c=1.0662(2) nm, β= 107.66(3)°, Z=4. The silver(I) atom is two‐coordinated by two carboxylic oxygen atoms of two o‐hydroxybenzoate ligands, and meanwhile, forms supramolecular interaction with one carbon atom of phenyl‐ring in the third o‐hydroxybenzoate group. The a‐form Ag…C supramolecular bond bridges [Ag2(o‐HOPhCO2)2] units into an infinite 2D layered polymer [Ag2(o‐HOPhCO2)2]n. The coordination sphere of the silver atom is best described as a distorted T‐shaped geometry.  相似文献

Reaction of the bicyclo[1.1.0]tetrasilatetraamide Si4{N(SiMe3)Dipp}4 1 (Dipp=2,6‐diisopropylphenyl) with 5 equiv of the N‐heterocyclic carbene NHCMe4 (1,3,4,5‐tetramethylimidazol‐2‐ylidene) affords a bifunctional carbene‐coordinated four‐membered‐ring compound with a Si=N group and a two‐coordinate silicon atom Si4{N(SiMe3)Dipp}2(NHCMe4)2(NDipp) 2 . When 2 reacts with 0.25 equiv sulfur (S8), two sulfur atoms add to the divalent silicon atom in plane and perpendicular to the plane of the Si4 ring, which confirms the silylone character of the two‐coordinate silicon atom in 2 .  相似文献

In recent years, the use of copper N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) complexes has expanded to fields besides catalysis, namely medicinal chemistry and luminescence applications. In the latter case, multinuclear copper NHC compounds have attracted interest, however, the number of these complexes in the literature is still quite limited. Bis[μ‐1,3‐bis(3‐tert‐butylimidazolin‐2‐yliden‐1‐yl)pyridine]‐1κ4C2,N:N,C2′;2κ4C2,N:N,C2′‐dicopper(I) bis(hexafluoridophosphate), [Cu2(C19H25N5)2](PF6)2, is a dimeric copper(I) complex bridged by two CNC, i.e. bis(N‐heterocyclic carbene)pyridine, ligands. Each CuI atom is almost linearly coordinated by two NHC ligands and interactions are observed between the pyridine N atoms and the metal centres, while no cuprophilic interactions were observed. Very strong absorption bands are evident in the UV–Vis spectrum at 236 and 274 nm, and an emission band is observed at 450 nm. The reported complex is a new example of a multinuclear copper NHC complex and a member of a compound class which has only rarely been reported.  相似文献

Abstract

[Ni(L?1)(HL)(H2O)2].ClO4 with a Schiff base ligand L (HL = 3-p-tolylimino-2-butanone oxime) was prepared and structurally characterized by IR, cyclic voltammetry and X-ray diffraction methods. The nickel atom has distorted octahedral coordination consisting of four nitrogen atoms and two oxygen atoms. The equatorial plane is formed by two oxime nitrogen atoms and two imine nitrogen atoms of two Schiff base ligand (L?1 and HL) with Ni‐ N bond distances between 2.01(1) and 2.11(1)Å. Water oxygen atoms occupy axial positions with Ni‐ O bond distances of 2.06(1) and 2.15(1) Å. The oxime groups in the Schiff base ligands are coordinated to Ni atom through their nitrogen atoms. One asymmetric intramolecular hydrogen bridge between the two oxime groups is found in the title complex.  相似文献

A series of ruthenium carbene catalysts containing 2‐sulfidophenolate bidentate ligand with an ortho‐substituent next to the oxygen atom were synthesized. The molecular structure of ruthenium carbene complex containing 2‐isopropyl‐6‐sulfidophenolate ligand was confirmed through single crystal X‐ray diffraction. An oxygen atom can be found in the opposite position of the N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) based on the steric hindrance and strong trans‐effects of the NHC ligand. The ruthenium carbene catalyst can catalyze ring‐opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) reaction of norbornene with high activity and Z‐selectivity and cross metathesis (CM) reactions of terminal alkenes with (Z)‐but‐2‐ene‐1,4‐diol to give Z‐olefin products (Z/E ratios, 70:30–89:11) in low yields (13%–38%). When AlCl3 was added into the CM reactions, yields (51%–88%) were considerably improved and process becomes highly selective for E‐olefin products (E/Z ratios, 79:21–96:4). Similar to other ruthenium carbene catalysts, these new complexes can tolerate different functional groups.  相似文献

[ReNCl2(PPh3)2] and [ReNCl2(PMe2Ph)3] react with the N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) 1,3,4‐triphenyl‐1,2,4‐triazol‐5‐ylidene (HLPh) under formation of the stable rhenium(V) nitrido complex [ReNCl(HLPh)(LPh)], which contains one of the two NHC ligands with an additional orthometallation. The rhenium atom in the product is five‐coordinate with a distorted square‐pyramidal coordination sphere. The position trans to the nitrido ligand is blocked by one phenyl ring of the monodentate HLPh ligand. The Re–C(carbene) bond lengths of 2.072(6) and 2.074(6) Å are comparably long and indicate mainly σ‐bonding between the NHC ligand and the electron deficient d2 metal atom. The chloro ligand in [ReNCl(HLPh)(LPh)] is labile and can be replaced by ligands such as pseudohalides or monoanionic thiolates such as diphenyldithiophosphinate (Ph2PS2?) or pyridine‐2‐thiolate (pyS?). X‐ray structure analyses of [ReN(CN)(HLPh)(LPh)] and [ReN(pyS)(HLPh)(LPh)] show that the bonding situation of the NHC ligands (Re–C(carbene) distances between 2.086(3) and 2.130(3) Å) in the product is not significantly influenced by the ligand exchange. The potentially bidentate pyS? ligand is solely coordinated via its thiolato functionality. Hydrogen atoms of each one of the phenyl rings come close to the unoccupied sixth coordination positions of the rhenium atoms in the solid state structures of all complexes. Re–H distances between 2.620 and 2.712Å do not allow to discuss bonding, but with respect to the strong trans labilising influence of “N3?”, weak interactions are indicated.  相似文献

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Zn(C7H5O3)2(C10H8N2)], contains one monomeric zinc complex. The Zn atom is coordinated to one 2,2′‐bipyridyl ligand via both N atoms and to two salicylate anions (Hsal) in a bidentate chelating manner involving carboxylate O‐atom coordination. The complex exhibits a distorted octahedral geometry about the ZnII atom, with the `apical' positions occupied by one of the two N atoms of the bipyridyl ligand and an O atom from one Hsal ligand; the Zn atom is 0.168 (1) Å out of the `basal' plane. Two intramolecular six‐membered hydrogen‐bonded rings are present, generated from interactions between the carboxyl and hydroxyl groups of the salicylate ligands. The crystal packing is governed by weak C—H⋯O and C—H⋯π interactions.  相似文献

The aryl propargylic alcohol 1‐[2‐(thiophen‐3‐yl)phenyl]prop‐2‐yn‐1‐ol ( 1a ) is readily prepared from 2‐(thiophen‐3‐yl)benzaldehyde. In the presence of visible light, treatment of 1a with one‐half mole equivalent of [Ru]Cl ([Ru]?Cp(dppe)Ru) (dppe=1,2‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane) and NH4PF6 in O2 affords the naphtha[2,1‐b]thiophene‐4‐carbaldehyde ( 4a ) in high yields. The cyclization reaction of 1a proceeds through the formation of the carbene complex 2a that contains the naphtha[2,1‐b]thiophene ring, which is isolated in a 1:1 stoichiometric reaction. The C? C bond formation between the inner carbon of the terminal triple bond and the heterocyclic ring is confirmed by structure determination of 2a using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. Facile oxygenation of 2a by O2 yields the aldehyde product 4a accompanied by the formation of phosphine oxide of dppe. Oxygen is most likely activated by coordination to the ruthenium center when one PPh2 unit of the dppe ligand dissociates. This dissociated PPh2 unit then reacts with the coordinated oxygen nearby to generate half‐oxidized dppe ligand and an unobserved oxo–carbene intermediate. Coupling of the oxo/carbene ligands followed by demetalation then yields 4a . Presumably the resulting complex with the half‐oxidized dppe ligand continuously promotes cyclization/oxygenation of 1a to yield the second aldehyde molecule. In alcohol such as MeOH or EtOH, the oxygenation reaction affords a mixture of 4a and the corresponding esters 5a or 5a' . Four other aryl propargylic alcohols 1b , 1c , 1d , 1e , which contain thiophen‐2‐yl, isopropenyl, fur‐3‐yl, and fur‐2‐yl, respectively, on the aryl ring are also prepared. Analogous aldehydes 4b , 4c , 4d , 4e are similarly prepared from 1b , 1c , 1d , 1e , respectively. For oxygenations of 1b , 1d , and 1e in alcohol, mixtures of aldehyde 4 , ester 5 , and acetal 8 are obtained. The carbene complex 2b obtained from 1b was also characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. The UV/Vis spectra of 2a and 2b consist of absorption bands with a high extinction coefficient. From DFT calculations on 2a and 2b , the visible light is found to populate the LUMO antibonding orbital of mainly Ru?C bonds, thereby weakening the Ru?C bond and promoting the oxygenation/demetalation reactions of 2 .  相似文献

Mechanistic aspects of an unusual gas‐phase reaction of [LaCH2]+ with halobenzenes have been investigated using Fourier‐transform ion cyclotron resonance (FTICR) mass spectrometry combined with density functional theory (DFT) calculations. In this thermal process a carbon‐atom from the benzene ring, most likely the ipso‐position, and the carbene ligand are coupled to form C2H2.  相似文献
