KAM à la R

Recently Rüssmann proposed a new variant of kam-theory based on a slowly converging iteration scheme. It is the purpose of this note to make this scheme accessible in an even simpler setting, namely for analytic perturbations of constant vector fields on a torus. As a side effect the result may be the shortest complete kam proof for perturbations of integrable vector fields available so far.     

De la K-théorie algébrique vers la K-théorie hermitienne

In this Note, we introduce a new morphism between algebraic and hermitian K-theory. The topological analog is the Adams operation ${\psi }^2$ in real K-theory. From this morphism, we deduce a lower bound for the higher algebraic K-theory of a ring A in terms of the classical Witt group of the ring $A?A^{\mathrm{op}}$. To cite this article: M. Karoubi, C. R. Prescription de la courbure de Ricci au voisinage de la métrique hyperbolique

On the unit ball of, one considers the standard hyperbolic metric H₀ whose Ricci curvature equals R₀ and Riemann-Christoffel curvature is. We prove that, for any symmetric tensor R near R₀, there exists a unique metric H near H₀ whose Ricci curvature is R. We deduce in the C^∞ case that the image of the Riemann-Christoffel operator is a submanifold in a neighborhood of. Finally, we study more precisely the Ricci equation in dimension 2.

We show that, consistently, there is an ultrafilter on ω such that if N _n^ℓ = (P _n^ℓ ∪ Q _n^ℓ, P _n^ℓ, Q _n^ℓ, R _n^ℓ) (for ℓ = 1, 2, n < ω), P _n^ℓ ∪ Q _n^ℓ ⊆ ω, and are models of the canonical theory t ^ind of the strong independence property, then every isomorphism from onto is a product isomorphism. Extensions de fonctions d'un voisinage de la sphère à la boule

In this note, we are interested in the problem of extending a germ defined along the standard sphere and whose restriction to the sphere is Morse to a function F defined on the ball bounded by the sphere, without critical point. We give an algebraic necessary condition dealing with the Morse complexes of f with $\mathbb{Z}$ coefficients.     

Sur la régularité de la fonction croissance d'une variété riemannienne

Résumé On étudie la différentiabilité de la fonction croissance d'une variété riemannienne complète. En général, elle a la même régularité qu'une fonction concave: la dérivée peut avoir des sauts pour lesquels on donne une formule. Dans le cas analytique réel, la fonction croissance est de classeC ¹. Un exemple montre qu'elle n'est pas nécessairementC ². A titre d'application, nous construisons, pour toute variété ouverte paracompacteM et toute fonction croissantev de classeC ¹, une métrique continue de croissance égale àv et une métrique de classeC surM de croissance proche dev en topologieC ¹-fine.

Sur la torsion de la distribution ordinaire universelle attachée à un corps de nombres

We study the torsion subgroup of the universal ordinary distribution related to a general number field. We describe a way to control this subgroup. We apply this method to the special case of an imaginary quadratic field, and we give examples of such fields where these torsion subgroups are non-trivial. We complete [3] and we give a purely K-theoretic proof of the Connes-Kasparov conjecture for semi-simple Lie groups.     

Quantification de la dualité de Grassmann

Let V be a complex vector space of dimension n, %plane1D;53E; (resp. %plane1D;53E;^*) the Grassmann manifold of p-dimensional (resp. (n — p)-dimensional) subspaces of V, and of Ω the relation of transversality in %plane1D;53E;*%plane1D;53E;^*. We announced in [6] equivalences between derived categories of sheaves and of D-modules on %plane1D;53E; and %plane1D;53E; defined by the integral transforms associated to Ω. We show here that these transforms exchange the D-modules associated to the holomorphic line bundles on %plane1D;53E; and %plane1D;53E;^*. This is equivalent to “quantizing” the underlying contact transformation between certain open dense subsets of the cotangent bundles. In the case p = 1, we recover already known results for the projective duality (see [1] and [5]).
