A nucleophilic addition reaction of 4-hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl (OH-TEMPO) to 3,6-di-tert-butyl-o-benzoquinone was used to obtain a new sterically hindered o-benzoquinone (1) containing 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidineoxyl functional group, which was characterized by IR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, elemental analysis, and X-ray diffraction. A one-electron reduction of 1 with potassium and thallium is an efficient method for the generation of earlier unknown heterospin biradicals 5a and 5b, respectively, containing nitroxide and o-semiquinone radical centers. Analysis of the hyperfine structure of the ESR spectra of biradicals 5a and 5b in solution showed that they belong to the group of heterospin biradicals with strong (J >> a) and fast exchange interaction between the radical centers.  相似文献

Reaction of 3,5-di-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone with 5-amino-4-chloroquinolines gave derivatives of a new fused heterocyclic system, substituted quinolino[4,5-bc][1,5]benzoxazepines. The molecular structure of 9,11-di-tert-butyl-2,4,6-trimethyl-7H-quinolino[4,5-bc][1,5]benzoxazepine was determined by X-ray analysis. 3,5-Di-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone reacted with o-nitro-, o-acyl-, and o-methoxycarbonylanilines and some amino-substituted nitrogen-containing heterocycles to form the corresponding sterically hindered N-aryl-(hetaryl)-o-aminophenols. Di-tert-butyl-substituted phenoxazines were obtained as a result of thermal cyclization of intermediately formed quinone imines.  相似文献

The effect of a number of quinoid compounds on methyl methacrylate polymerization initiated by azo-bis(isobutyronitrile) has been studied. It has been revealed that N-aryl-o-iminobenzoquinones, in contrast to o-benzoquinones, can provide radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate in controllable mode. The efficiency of the compounds as chain growth regulators has been found to depend on their composition and reaction conditions. It has been established that 4,6-di-tert-butyl-N-(2,6-diethylphenyl)-o-iminobenzoquinone and 4,6-di-tert-butyl-N-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-o-iminobenzoquinone under radical initiation conditions provide the synthesis of poly(methyl methacrylate) with wide-range molecular weight, retaining polydispersity indices about ~1.4–1.8 up to deep conversions.  相似文献

The reaction of 2-methylquinoline with 3,5-di-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone afforded a mixture of 5,7-di-tert-butyl-3-hydroxy-2-(quinolin-2-yl)cyclohepta-2,4,6-trien-1-one and previously unknown 10-tert-butylindolo[1,2-a]quinoline-8,11-dione. The structure of the latter was determined by two-dimensional heteronuclear correlation NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

The structures of products formed in reactions of tert-butylated o-quinones with alkyl radicals were determined by 1H and 13C NMR and two-dimensional 1H-1H NOESY spectroscopy, and also by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The major products formed upon γ-irradiation of deaerated solutions of 4-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone and 3,5-di-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone in cyclohexane are monoalkyl ethers and products of addition to the C=C bond. In the case of 4-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone, these are products of mixed O-C and C-C alkylation; the adduct formed by addition of the cyclohexyl radical to the C=C bond in 3,5-di-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone gives an unsymmetrical dimer whose structure was proved by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

The influence of bis[4,6-di-tert-butyl-N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)-o-iminobenzosemiquinonato]cobalt(ii) and 4,6-di-tert-butyl-N-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-o-iminobenzosemiquinonato]-[4,6-di-tert-butyl-N-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-o-amidophenolate]manganese(iii) on polymerization of methyl methacrylate and acrylonitrile in the presence of azobisisobutyronitrile (as a traditional radical initiator) and alkyl halides (used for initiation of controlled atom transfer radical polymerization process) was studied. The effect of the nature of the activating agents (amines) and the temperature conditions on the overall polymerization rate of the indicated monomers, as well as molecular weight characteristics of the synthesized polymers, were analyzed. The optimal conditions for the synthesis of polyacrylonitrile and poly(methyl methacrylate) with a relatively narrow molecular weight distribution were selected.  相似文献

Heating of an equimolar mixture of 3,5-di-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone with thiosalicylic acid led to 2-[(4,6-di-tert-butyl-2,3-dihydroxyphenyl)thio]benzoic acid. In the case of β-mercaptopropionic acid, 2-[(4,6-di-tert-butyl-2,3-dihydroxyphenyl)thio]propionic acid was formed, which upon reflux in Ac2O was converted to 6,8-di-tert-butyl-9-hydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,5benzoxathiepin-2-one.  相似文献

The stability of 3,5-di-tert-butylsalicylic aldehyde against oxidation is due to autoinhibiting of the chain process. However its oxidation into 3,5-di-tert-butylsalicylic acid was performed at the use of acetyl protection of the hydroxy group. Products of the reactions of 4- and 2-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butyl-benzaldehydes with malonic acid, diethyl malonate, and acetic anhydride in the presence of weak bases were isolated and identified. The reactions of 3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzaldehyde with malonic acid and acetic anhydride in the presence of sodium acetate and piperidine gave 3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxycinnamic acid. The reaction of its 2-hydroxy isomer with acetic anhydride stopped at the stage of formation of the corresponding O-acetyl derivative, while in the reaction with malonic acid the corresponding substituted cinnamic acid and its lactone (coumarin derivative) were formed as intermediate products in a transformation sequence finally leading to 3-(3,5-di-tertbutyl-2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-piperidinopropionic acid and 6,8-di-tert-butyl-2-oxo-3,4-dihydro-2H-chromen-4-ylacetic acid. Analogous differences were typical of reactions of isomeric 4- and 2-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butylbenzaldehydes with diethyl malonate. The transformations of the 2-hydroxy isomer were accompanied by hydrolysis and formation of an adduct of intermediate coumarin derivative with diethyl malonate and piperidine.  相似文献

The experimental and theoretical electron densities in complexes [6-(2,6-di-iso-propylphenyl)imino-2,4-di-tert-butylcyclohexa-2,4-diene-1-peroxo-1-olato-N,O,O′]tris(p-chlorophenyl)antimony(V), (p-Cl–C6H4)3Sb(2,6-iso-Pr–Ph–AP) · O2 (I), and [6-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)imino-2,4-di-tert-butylcyclohexa-2,4-diene-1-peroxo-1-olato-N,O,O′]tris(p-chlorophenyl)antimony(V), (p-Cl–C6H4)3Sb(2,6-Me–Ph–AP) · O2 (II), where AP is 4,6-di-tert-butyl-N-o-iminobenzoquinone dianion, are studied on the basis of high-resolution X-ray diffraction data and theoretical calculations using the density functional theory (B3LYP/DGDZVP). The nature of chemical bonds and the charge distribution on atoms are studied, and the energy of molecular oxygen addition to the Sb(V) o-aminophenolate complexes is estimated. The structures are deposited with the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CIF files CCDC nos. 1560600 (spherical refinement) and 1560601 (multipole refinement) for complex I; 1560602 (spherical) and 1560603 (multipole) for complex II).  相似文献

Antiradical activity of S- and N-3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl derivatives of benzothiazole(oxazole, imidazole)-2-thione with respect to 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl is varies widely. The effect of substituents in the reactions of 3,6-di-tert-butyl-о-benzoquinone with organozinc and organocadmium compounds, leading to three types of products: 3-alkyl-6-tert-butyl-о-benzoquinones, 4-alkyl-3,6-di-tert-butyl-о-benzoquinones, and 2-alkoxy-(or 2-phenoxy)-3,6-di-tert-butylphenols. The products of photolysis of N-substituted salicylic acid amides, viz., 2-hydroxy-3-tert-butyl-5-ethylbenzoic acid N-(4-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butylphenyl)amide (1) and 2-hydroxybenzoic acid N-[3-(4-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butylphenyl)prop-1-yl]amide (2), in heptane were studied by optical spectroscopy and stationary and nanosecond laser photolysis (Nd: YAG laser, 355 nm). It was shown by the method of partial deuteration of amides 1 and 2 that they exist in both the unbound state and as complexes with intraand intermolecular hydrogen bond. Amides 1 and 2 are subjected to photolysis, which results in the formation of a triplet state and phenoxyl radicals RO? presumably due to the absorption of the second photon by the excited singlet state. The formation of radical products due to N–H bond ionization was not observed. The main channel of decay of the triplet state and radicals RO? is triplet–triplet annihilation and recombination (k r ≈ 2.3?108 L mol–1 s–1), respectively. The UV irradiation of compounds 1 and 2 leads to the excitation of the amide groups, and no formation of radical products due to N–H bond ionization was observed.  相似文献

The kinetics of photoreduction under the action of visible light of the 3,6-di-tert-butyl-o-benzoquinone moiety in methacrylic monomer, polymer, and in the graft layer on the surface of pores in the presence of different N,N-dimethylanilines has been studied. The reaction is accelerated with the increasing electron-donating ability of the amine. In the presence of N,N-dimethylaniline at 50-fold molar excess of the amine, the photoreduction in the porous polymer occurs three and four times faster than in the monomer and the polymer, respectively.  相似文献

The benzylation of benzothiazole(oxazole, imidazole)-2-thiones with 3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl acetate involves either the sulfur or nitrogen atom depending on the reaction conditions. The S- and N-benzylation products of benzazole-2-thiones are kinetically and thermodynamically controlled products, respectively. The use of 3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-benzyl acetate allows sterically hindered hydroxybenzyl derivatives of benzаzole-2-thiones to be generally synthesized under milder conditions than in known methods of their synthesis.  相似文献

The quantum yields of photolytic transformations of aluminum, gallium, and indium tris(3,6-di-tert-butyl-1,2-semiquinolates) in solutions of saturated hydrocarbons were determined. The final products of photodecomposition formed upon irradiation of the compounds with the light of wavelength 313 nm were identified. The kinetic scheme for decomposition of the metal o-semiquinone complexes upon irradiation is suggested.  相似文献
