The 6He+12,14C scattering and reactions have been studied using a 35 MeV 6He radioactive beam and preliminary results are presented. The three-body reaction 6He+12C ↦ 10Be+2 α has been clearly identified and sequential decay of intermediate states in 14C has been studied. Search for an analog reaction on 14C, 6He+14C ↦ 12Be+2 α, has not given conclusive results yet. Other interesting reactions with this entrance channel are discussed.  相似文献

The (6Li, 7Be) and (6Li, 7Li) reactions on 6Li and 7Li nuclei were investigated in the angular interval 0°–20° in the laboratory system at a 6Li energy of 93 MeV. In addition to low-lying states of the 5,6He and 5,6Li nuclei, broad structures were observed near the t(3He)+d and t(3He)+t thresholds at the excitation energies of 16.75 (3/2+) and ~20 MeV (for 5He), 16.66 (3/2+) and ~20 MeV (5Li), 14.0 and 25 MeV (6He), and ~20 MeV (6Li). The angular distributions measured in the 7Li(6Li, 7Be)6He reaction for transitions to the ground state (0+) and excited states at E x=1.8 MeV (2+) and 14.0 MeV of the 6He nucleus were analyzed by the finite-range distorted-wave method assuming the 1p-and 1s-proton pickup mechanism. The (6Li, 7Be) and (6Li, 7Li) reactions were shown to proceed predominantly through the one-step pickup mechanism, and the broad structures observed at high excitation energies are considered as quasimolecular states of the t(3He)+d and t(3He)+t types.  相似文献

Distributions of the proton momentum in the 7Li{αt} → p + 6He{αnp} fragmentation channel were, along with the corresponding widths and spectroscopic factors, calculated in the αnn model representation of wave functions of the 6He nucleus in the (0+,1) ground and (2+,1) excited states. The results are compared to the available theoretical calculations and experimental NIKHEF data on the 7Li(e,e′p)6He electron-induced proton knock-out process.  相似文献

The measured 7Li(p,n), and 6Li(n,p) cross sections at 0° show a high-energy peak (≈25 MeV/c FWHM) which we attribute primarily to nuclear charge exchange leading to final states in 7Be, 6Be, and 6He, respectively. By contrast, the 7Li(n,p) cross section at O° shows a broad weak high-energy peak believed due mostly to break-up processes. At 16°, the 6,7Li(n,p) cross sections are dominated by quasi-elastic scattering.  相似文献

We have studied isospin symmetry violation in nuclear reactions by measuring simultaneously the cross-section of the following two reactionsp +d3H π+ andp +d3He π0. The experiment was perfomed at the cooler synchrotron accelerator COSY, Jülich at several beam energies close to the correspondingη production threshold. We also have ongoing programmes onη-nucleus final-state interaction studies viap+6 Li →7 Be +η reactions, high resolution search for dibaryonic resonances and lambda-proton final state interaction studies. The experimental details and results obtained so far are presented here  相似文献

The 6He+12C elastic and inelastic scattering and the 6He+12C→α+14C reaction have been measured using a 18.0 MeV 6He beam. Experimental results for the elastic scattering are in fair agreement with optical model predictions, using the potentials found in the analysis of 6Li scattering on 12C at similar energies. In triple coincidences, the 6He+12C→10Be+2α reactions were clearly seen, with the 10Be nucleus left in ground and several excited states. The dominant mechanism of this reaction is sequential decay through cluster states of 14C.  相似文献

Large cross-section reaction channels were measured in the systems 6Li( 7Li) + 208Pb with high statistical accuracy at 5(3) energies around the Coulomb barrier from 29 to 39 MeV. These channels were assigned (mainly) to the breakup of 6Li, very loosely bound, into α + d and to the breakup of 5Li, produced by n-transfer to the target, into α + p and to similar processes with 7Li beam. The cross-sections with 6Li, S α = 1.475 MeV, are systematically larger than the 7Li ones. This reflects, most likely, the higher binding energy of 7Li, S α = 2.468 MeV. Theoretical predictions for the 6Li + 208Pb system which include for 6Li breakup to continuum states within a continuum discretized coupled-channels approach (CDCC) and resonant breakup plus n-transfer with DWBA reproduce the angular distribution shapes but still underestimate the cross-sections by a factor ∼ 3. Complete fusion excitation functions for 11,10B+159Tb and 6,7Li+159Tb have been reported at energies around the respective Coulomb barriers. The measurements show significant suppression of complete fusion cross-sections at energies above the barrier for 10B+159Tb and 6,7Li+159Tb reactions, when compared to those for 11B+159Tb. The comparison shows that the extent of suppression of complete fusion cross-sections is correlated with the α-separation energies of the projectiles. Also, the measured incomplete fusion cross-sections show that the α-particle emanating channel is the favoured incomplete fusion process. Inclusive measurement of the α-particles produced in 6Li+159Tb reaction has been carried out. Preliminary CDCC calculations carried out to estimate the α-yield following 6Li breaking up into α+d fail to explain the measured α-yield. Transfer processes seem to be important contributors.  相似文献

Density profiles and static features (radii, magnetic moments, and quadrupole moments) are calculated with the wave functions found for A = 9 isobars on the basis of the α + α + n three-body model for the 9Be nucleus, the 7Li + n + n three-body model for the 9Li nucleus, and the 7Be + p + p three-body model for the 9C nucleus. The differential cross sections and analyzing powers for elastic proton scattering on 9Be at E = 220 MeV and 1.0 GeV and on 9Li and 9C at E = 700 and 60 MeV/nucleon (in inverse kinematics) are calculated within Glauber diffraction theory. All of the results are compared with available experimental data and with the results of the calculations performed by other authors.  相似文献

Elastic scattering angular distributions have been measured for 7Be + 9Be system at Elab = 17, 19 and 21 MeV in the angular range θcm=26–58°, and for 7Li + 9Be system at Elab= 15.75, 24 and 30 MeV. An optical model (OM) analysis of these data have been carried out. For the 7Li + 9Be system fusion cross sections were obtained at Elab = 15.75, 24 and 30 MeV by measuring the α-evaporation spectra from the compound nucleus at backward angles. The measured α-evaporation spectra were reproduced by the statistical model calculations and fusion cross sections were extracted therefrom. The ratios of the experimental fusion cross sections to the total reaction cross sections (obtained form OM analysis) were found to be rather small. This result suggests that break-up process has a strong influence on fusion process leading to a reduction in fusion cross section.  相似文献

Elastic scattering data have been measured for the 7Li + 90Zr, 6Li + 90Zr, and 6Li + 91Zr systems at E(Li) = 34 MeV. Inelastic scattering data for the 7Li + 90Zr and 6Li + 90Zr systems were also measured for the 2+(2.18 MeV) and 3?(2.75 MeV) states in 90Zr and the 12?(0.48 MeV) state in 7Li. Optical model analyses of the elastic scattering data and DWBA analyses for the states in 90Zr were performed. The deduced deformation lengths for the 2+ state agreed with those extracted in other studies but the deformation length for the 3? state was smaller. The 90Zr(7Li, 6Li)91Zr angular distributions were measured for the 1.21 and 2.03 MeV states and the 2.19 MeV doublet in 91Zr. Also, 90Zr(7Li, 6He)91Nb angular distributions were measured for the ground states, 0.10, 3.41 and 4.82 MeV states in 91Nb. The transitions well matched in angular momentum were described by finite-range DWBA calculations, while other transitions displayed the same phase problems seen with heavier ions. The extracted spectroscopic information was consistent with the results of other reaction studies. At the present energy, it was not possible to determine whether the l = 1 phase problem that occurs for heavy-ion single-nucleon transfer reactions on 2s-1d shell nuclei occurs in 91Zr also.  相似文献

The proton spectral functions of 6Li, 7Li, 9Be and 10B obtained from the (e, e′p) reactions at 700 MeV are presented. The results were analyzed in the distorted-wave impulse approximation, using the shell-model single-particle wave functions consistent with the elastic electron scattering results. The observed Ip proton momentum distributions for the nuclei 6Li, 7Li and 9Be show significant disagreement with the shell-model momentum distributions. The occupation probabilities of the proton single-particle states are around 0.7, with a few exceptions.  相似文献

The technique of nuclear track emulsions is used to explore the fragmentation of light relativistic nuclei down to the most peripheral interactions: nuclear “white” stars. A complete pattern of the relativistic dissociation of a 8B nucleus with target fragment accompaniment is presented. Relativistic dissociation 9Be → 2α is explored using significant statistics, and a relative contribution of 8Be decays from 0+ and 2+ states is established. Target fragment accompaniments are shown for relativistic fragmentation 14N → 3He +H and 22Ne → 5He. The leading role of the electromagnetic dissociation on heavy nuclei with respect to breakups on target protons is demonstrated in all these cases. It is possible to conclude that the peripheral dissociation of relativistic nuclei in nuclear track emulsion is a unique tool to study many-body systems composed of the lightest nuclei and nucleons in the energy scale relevant for nuclear astrophysics. Hyperspherical-harmonics method to investigate the lightest nuclei having three-cluster structure is discussed together with recent experiments. Properties of bound states and methods to explore three-body continuum are presented. The challenges created by large neutron excess and halo phenomena are highlighted. Astrophysical aspects of the 7Li + n8Li + γ reaction and the solar-boron-neutrinos problem are analyzed. Three-cluster structure of highly excited states in 8Be is shown to be responsible for extreme isospin mixing. Progress in studies of 6He- and 11Li-induced inclusive and exclusive nuclear reactions is demonstrated, providing information on the nature of continuum structures of Borromean nuclei. We present the recent experimental results on the 6He structure studied by the 6Li(t, 3He)6He reaction at 336 MeV. Above the conspicuous peaks for ground and first excited states for 6He, we have observed a broad structures at E x∼ 5 MeV, and E x∼ 15 MeV. The angular distribution of this structure exhibits the dominance of a ΔL = 1 transition, indicating the existence of intruder dipole states at low excitation energies in 6He. A slight admixture of positive-parity states in this structure has been indicated as well. Received: 1 May 2001 / Accepted: 4 December 2001  相似文献

Experimentally determined excitation functions of the transfer reactions producing 194–199Au and 197m Hg isotopes during the interaction of 6Li with Pt nuclei are presented. An analysis of the experimental data as compared to EMPIRE-2.18 model calculations and experimental results on the d + natPt and α + natPt reactions allow determination of the interaction channels of d- and α-clusters in 6Li with the target nucleus. The results from model calculations of the reaction cross sections appear considerably lower than the experimental data. This discrepancy in describing the reactions with weakly bound nuclei is probably associated with the incomplete consideration of various interaction channels in the EMPERE-2.18 software. It is clear that a complete understanding of the interaction pattern in these processes requires consideration of the direct channels of 6Li nucleus cluster transfer during 6Li breakup near the Coulomb barrier.  相似文献

A semi–microscopic model for the low–energy photodisintegration of the 9Be nucleus is constructed, and the experimental data are analyzed with its help. The older radioactive isotope data are supported by this analysis. The theoretical photodisintegration cross section is derived. The astrophysical rates for the reaction α+α+n9Be+γ and the reverse photodisintegration of 9Be are calculated. The new reaction rate for α+α+n9Be+γ is compared with previous estimations. The data for the 7Li + 9Be and 7Be + 9Be elastic scattering at the energies E lab(7Li) = 15.75 , 24, 30, 34, 63 and 130MeV and E lab(7Be) = 17 , 19 and 21MeV were analyzed within the optical model and coupled-reaction-channels method. The elastic and inelastic scattering, reorientation of 7Li , 7Be and 9Be as well as most important transfer reactions were included in the coupled-channels scheme. The resulting 7Li and 7Be potentials are very similar and have the same energy dependence. The real potential for recently derived 8Be + 9Be scattering potentials is very similar to that for 7Li , 7Be but the imaginary part of the 8Be one has a much greater strength at longer range.  相似文献

The phase-shift-analysis data for the 3He4He scattering are analyzed using the effective-range theory, with the Coulomb interaction taken into account. We find both the renormalized nuclear vertex constants for the vertex 7Be → 3He + 4He in the ground (3/2) and in the first excited (1/2) bound states of 7Be, and the corresponding asymptotic normalization constants of the radial wave functions in these states. The results obtained can be used in an astrophysical S-factor calculation for radiative capture reaction 4He(3He, γ)7Be  相似文献

The proton and neutron densities, root-mean-square (rms) radii of proton density and neutron density, and neutron skin thickness of 4–10He, 6–11Li, and 7–12Be isotopes are calculated using Skyrme-Hartree-Fock method with SLy4, SLy5, SLy6, and SLy7 force parameters. The evaluated results are compared with experimental data. Also, the results of halo nuclei (6,8He, 11Li, and 11Be) are compared with the results of other isotopes for selected nuclei having the same neutron configuration.  相似文献
