The 10.15 MeV resonance in 10Be has been probed via resonant 6He+4He elastic scattering. It is demonstrated that it is the Jpi=4+ member of a rotational band built on the 6.18 MeV 0+ state. A Gammaalpha of 0.10-0.13 MeV and Gammaalpha/Gamma=0.35-0.46 were deduced. The corresponding reduced alpha width, gamma2alpha, indicates one of the largest alpha-cluster spectroscopic factors known. The deformation of the band, including the 7.54 MeV, 2+ member, is large (h2/2I=200 keV). Such a deformation and the significant degree of clusterization signals a well-developed alpha:2n:alpha molecular structure.  相似文献

We report a study of the processes e+e- -->J/psiD*D[over](*). In J/psiD*D[over]* we observe a significant enhancement in the D*D[over]* invariant mass spectrum, which we interpret as a new charmoniumlike state and denote X(4160). The X(4160) parameters are M=(4156(-20)+25+/-15) MeV/c2 and Gamma=(139(-61)+111+/-21) MeV. We also report a new measurement of the X(3940) mass and width: M=(3942(-6)+7+/-6) MeV/c2 and Gamma=(37(-15)+26+/-8) MeV. The analysis is based on a 693 fb(-1) data sample recorded near the Upsilon(4S) resonance by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy collider.  相似文献

We report the observation of a new DsJ meson produced in B+-->D0DsJ-->D0D0K+. This state has a mass of M=2708+/-9(-10)(+11) MeV/c2, a width Gamma=108+/-23(-31)(+36) MeV/c2 and a 1- spin-parity. The statistical significance of this observation is 8.4 sigma. The results are based on an analysis of 449 x 10(6) BB events collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider.  相似文献

Radioactive ion beams of 17F were used to study several resonance states in 18Ne. Clear evidence for simultaneous two-proton emission from the 6.15 MeV state (Jpi = 1(-)) in 18Ne has been observed with the reaction 17F+1H. Because of limited angular coverage, the data did not differentiate between the two possible mechanisms of simultaneous decay, diproton (2He) emission or direct three-body decay. The two-proton partial width was found to be 21+/-3 eV assuming 2He emission and 57+/-6 eV assuming three-body decay. The total width of the 1(-) state was measured to be 50+/-5 keV. Several additional resonances that decay by single proton emission were also studied.  相似文献

We report on the first low-energy Coulomb excitation measurements with radioactive Ipi=6- beams of odd-odd nuclei 68,70Cu. The beams were produced at ISOLDE, CERN and were post-accelerated by REX-ISOLDE to 2.83 MeV/nucleon. Gamma rays were detected with the MINIBALL spectrometer. The 6- beam was used to study the multiplet of states (3-, 4-, 5-, 6-) arising from the pi2p3/2 nu 1g9/2 configuration. The 4- state of the multiplet was populated via Coulomb excitation and the B(E2;6--->4-) value was determined in both nuclei. The results obtained illustrate the fragile stability of the Z=28 shell and N=40 subshell closures. A comparison with large-scale shell-model calculations using the 56Ni core shows the importance of the proton excitations across the Z=28 shell gap to the understanding of the nuclear structure in the neutron-rich nuclei with N approximately 40.  相似文献

Experimental search for the superheavy 7H isotope was performed in the reaction p(8He,pp)7H with the 8He beam at 61.3A MeV. The evidence for existence of the 7H state near the t+4n threshold was obtained. In the same experiment, the p(8He,t) reaction populating the ground and excited 2(+) state of 6He was investigated. The obtained results argue on a specific structure of the 8He ground state containing the 6He subsystem in the excited 2(+) state with a large weight.  相似文献

Experimental search for (5)H using a secondary beam of (6)He has been performed. The transfer reaction (1)H((6)He,(2)He)(5)H was studied by detecting two protons emitted from the decay of (2)He. A peak consistent with a (5)H resonance at 1.7+/-0.3 MeV above the n+n+t threshold was observed, with a width of 1.9+/-0.4 MeV. The angular distribution of the (1)H((6)He,(2)He)(5)H reaction was measured as well as the energy correlation of the two protons.  相似文献

The mass m(eta(c)) and total width Gamma(eta(c))(tot) of the eta(c) meson have been measured in two-photon interactions at the SLAC e(+)e(-) asymmetric B Factory with the BABAR detector. With a sample of approximately 2500 reconstructed eta(c)-->K(0)(S)K+/-pi(-/+) decays in 88 fb(-1) of data, the results are m(eta(c))=2982.5+/-1.1(stat)+/-0.9(syst) MeV/c(2) and Gamma(eta(c))(tot)=34.3+/-2.3(stat)+/-0.9(syst) MeV/c(2). Using the same decay mode, a second resonance with 112+/-24 events is observed with a mass of 3630.8+/-3.4(stat)+/-1.0(syst) MeV/c(2) and width of 17.0+/-8.3(stat)+/-2.5(syst) MeV/c(2). This observation is consistent with expectations for the eta(c)(2S) state.  相似文献

A distinct peak is observed in the pi +/- psi' invariant mass distribution near 4.43 GeV in B-->K pi +/- psi' decays. A fit using a Breit-Wigner resonance shape yields a peak mass and width of M=4433+/-4(stat)+/-2(syst) MeV and Gamma=45-13+18(stat)-13+30(syst) MeV. The product branching fraction is determined to be B(B 0-->K -/+Z+/-(4430)) x B(Z+/-(4430)-->pi+/-psi')=(4.1+/-1.0(stat)+/-1.4(syst)) x 10(-5), where Z+/-(4430) is used to denote the observed structure. The statistical significance of the observed peak is 6.5 sigma. These results are obtained from a 605 fb(-1) data sample that contains 657 x 10(6) BB pairs collected near the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric energy e+ e- collider.  相似文献

Using a new phenomenological KN interaction which reproduces Λ(1405) as an I = 0 bound state of KN, we have investigated K--3 He(T=0) and K--4 He(T=1/2) within the framework of the Brueckner-Hartree-Fock(BHF) theory. Our calculations show that the above kaonic nuclear systems are both deeply bound. The binding energy BK-is 124.4 MeV(94.1 MeV) and the width Γ is 11.8 MeV(25.8 MeV) for K--3He(T=0)(K--4He(T =1/2)).  相似文献

The existence of the 7H nuclear system was investigated via a one-proton transfer reaction with a 8He beam at 15.4A MeV and a 12C gas target. The experimental setup was based on the active-target MAYA which allowed a complete reconstruction of the reaction kinematics. The existence of the 7H was confirmed with the identification of seven events where the system was formed with a resonance energy of 0.57(-0.21)(+0.42) MeV above the 3H+4n threshold and a resonance width of 0.09(-0.06)(+0.94) MeV. This study represents an unambiguous proof of the existence of the most neutron-proton unbalanced system presently found.  相似文献

Using results from various reactions that populate ~(10)He,I conclude that the ground state has E_(2n) = 1.07(7) MeV and the excited 0~+ state is in the region of 2.1-3.1 MeV.The amount of the(sd)~2 component in the ground state is less than about 0.075.  相似文献

We observed well-separated 1s and 2p pi(-) states in 205Pb in the 206Pb(d,3He) reaction at T(d) = 604.3 MeV. The binding energies and the widths determined are B(1s) = 6.762+/-0.061 MeV, Gamma(1s) = 0.764(+0.154)(-0.171) MeV, B(2p) = 5.110+/-0.045 MeV, and Gamma(2p) = 0.321(-0.062)(+0.060) MeV. They are used to deduce the real and imaginary strengths of the s-wave part of the pion-nucleus interaction, which translates into a positive mass shift of pi(-) in 205Pb.  相似文献

We report the first observation of a charm-strange meson D(+)(sJ)(2632) at a mass of 2632.5+/-1.7 MeV/c(2) in data from SELEX, the charm hadro-production experiment E781 at Fermilab. This state is seen in two decay modes, D(+)(s)eta and D0K+. In the D(+)(s)eta decay mode we observe a peak with 101 events over a combinatoric background of 54.9 events at a mass of 2635.4+/-3.3 MeV/c(2). There is a corresponding peak of 21 events over a background of 6.9 at 2631.5+/-2.0 MeV/c(2) in the decay mode D0K+. The decay width of this state is <17 MeV/c(2) at 90% confidence level. The relative branching ratio Gamma(D0K+)/Gamma(D(+)(s)eta) is 0.14+/-0.06. The mechanism that keeps this state narrow is unclear. Its decay pattern is also unusual, being dominated by the D(+)(s)eta decay mode.  相似文献

A resonance state situated at 1.8±0.1 and, most likely, another state positioned at 2.7±0.1 MeV above the t+n+n decay threshold were observed in the missing mass energy spectrum of the 5H nucleus produced in the reaction 3H(t,p)5H. The peak located close to $E_{^5 H} = 1.8$ MeV also was seen in the 5H spectrum obtained from the energy distributions of 3H nuclei emitted in the reaction 2H(6He,5H)3He. The width (Γobs ≤ 0.5 MeV) obtained for the two 5H resonance states is surprisingly small. A state of 4H with E res = 3.3 MeV and γ2 = 2.3 MeV was obtained in the reaction 2H(t,p)4H from the proton spectrum.  相似文献

We present a study of the decay B0(s) --> J/psiphi. We obtain the CP-odd fraction in the final state at time zero, Rperpendicular = 0.16 +/- 0.10(stat) +/- 0.02 (syst), the average lifetime of the (B0(s), B0(s)) system, tau(B0(s)) = 1.39(+0.13)(-0.16)(stat)(+0.01)(-0.02)(syst) ps, and the relative width difference between the heavy and light mass eigenstates, DeltaGamma/Gamma tripple bond (GammaL - GammaH)/Gamma = 0.24(+0.28)(-0.38)(stat)(+0.03)(-0.04)(syst). With the additional constraint from the world average of the lifetime measurements using semileptonic decays, we find tau(B0(s)) = 1.39 +/- 0.06 ps and DeltaGamma/Gamma = 0.25(+0.14)(-0.15). For the ratio of the B0(s) and B0 lifetimes we obtain tau(B0(s))/tau(B0) = 0.91 +/- 0.09(stat) +/- 0.003(syst).  相似文献

The angular distribution of 26 MeV/n 8He ions elastically scattered from a gaseous helium target was measured in a wide CM angular range. Results are discussed in terms of the potential scattering and neutron transfer. The angular distributions of elastic scattering as well as 1n and 2n transfer reactions of these ions on protons are presented. Finite-range DWBA calculations made for the 2n transfer reaction leading to the ground (0+) and excited (2+) states of 6He underestimate the cross section for 2n transfer to 6He(0+). Analysis of data for this reaction channel suggests the importance of a direct 5H-cluster exchange process. A resonance state of 5H with an energy of 2 MeV above the decay threshold n+n+ 3H was obtained for the first time by making use of the reaction p(6He,2He)5H.  相似文献

The spectrum of 9He was studied by means of the 8He(d,p)9He reaction at a lab energy of 25 MeV/n and small center of mass (c.m.) angles. Energy and angular correlations were obtained for the 9He decay products by complete kinematical reconstruction. The data analysis was done in the assumption of a direct one-neutron transfer reaction mechanism. The 9He structure was analysed in the framework of a simple single-particle model. The lowest resonant state of 9He is found at about 2 MeV with a width of ∼2MeV and is identified as 1/2-. The observed angular correlation pattern is uniquely explained by the interference of the 1/2- resonance with a virtual state 1/2+ (a limit on the scattering length is obtained as a > -20fm), and with a 5/2+ resonance at energy ≥4.2MeV.  相似文献

We report on the first genuinely three-body K[over]NN- piSigmaN coupled-channel Faddeev calculation in search for quasibound states in the K- pp system. The main absorptivity in the K- p subsystem is accounted for by fitting to K- p data near threshold. Our calculation yields one such quasibound state, with I=1/2, J{pi}=0-, bound in the range B approximately 55-70 MeV, with a width of Gamma approximately 90-110 MeV. These results differ substantially from previous estimates, and are at odds with the K- pp-->Lambda p signal observed by the FINUDA collaboration.  相似文献

We report the observation of a narrow peak in the K(S)K-pi(+) invariant mass distribution in a sample of exclusive B-->KK(S)K-pi(+) decays collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric e(+)e(-) collider. The measured mass of the peak is M=3654+/-6(stat)+/-8(syst) MeV/c(2), and we place a 90% confidence level upper limit on the width of Gamma<55 MeV/c(2). The properties agree with heavy-quark potential model expectations for the eta(c)(2S) meson, the n=2 singlet S charmonium state.  相似文献
