Quantum effects in theM w -M z relation are studied in the framework of the standard SU(2)×U(1) electroweak theory. After reviewing this relation in detail, numerical analysis is carried out by using recent data of ALEPH, DELPHI, L3, OPAL and MARK II collaborations onM z , and those of CDF and UA2 collaborations onM w . For the weighted averageM z exp =91.157±0.032 GeV, theW mass is calculated asM w (0) =80.90±0.04 GeV,M w (l.l) =79.75±0.04±0.02 GeV andM w =80.21±0.04±0.04 GeV at the tree, leading-log and full correction level (form top=140 GeV andm Higgs=100 GeV) respectively. Remarkable is that only the fully correctedM w is consistent withM w exp =80.24±0.37 GeV, which clearly demands the heavy top-quark correction, and therefore gives a strong phenomenological support, independent of the neutral current data, to the electroweak theory as a renormalizable quantum field theory with the spontaneous symmetry breakdown.  相似文献

In this letter, we investigate the influence of the stress on magnetoelectric (ME) effect in a magnetostrictive-PZT bilayer. ME voltage coefficient α*E = δE / δH, where δE is the induced electric field for an applied alternating current (ac) magnetic field δH, is obtained by solving the stress-related piezoelectric constitutive equation and the conventional magnetostrictive equation with appropriate boundary condition. Based on the free-energy density function of the PZT film in stress state, we get the stress-related piezoelectric charge coefficient p d*31 and dielectric permittivity pε*33. After taking the cobalt ferrite (CFO) as magnetostrictive phase, it is found that α*E increases with decreasing 2-d compressive stress for CFO-PZT, which not only is qualitatively consistent with previous experimental measurements, but also provides a possible route to improve the ME effect.   相似文献

The spin relaxation timeT 1 for short-lived beta emitters13O and23Mg implanted in Pt have been measured for the first time;T 1T13O) = 2.90 ±0.65 Ks andT 1 T(23Mg) = 1665 ±140 Ks. The Knight shift for13O in Pt was measured at 300 K to beK(13O) = +(4.23 ±0.14) × 10–3. In the case of13O, the Knight shift is unusually large and the relaxation time is unusually fast compared with other interstitial impurities in Pt. A KKR band-structure calculation reproduces the present large Knight shift fairly well.  相似文献

TheK-Fluorescence Yield k of Germanium has been measured using the coincidence method and investigating the decay of74As. The branching ratios of this decay had to be measured and all relevant determining values, as detection efficiencies, absorption coefficients etc. The experimental results areP K K = 0.494±0.012 and K= 0.561±0.015 usingP K= 0.881±0.003. For the branching ratios of the decay of74As we obtainedEC 2 (1.204) 0.88±0.06%EC 1 (0.596) 32.8±0.8 % 1 + (0.596) 24.7±0.8 %EC 1 1 + =1.332±0.046.Additionally the half-lifeT 1/2=(17.76±0.03) d has been measured.  相似文献

Purpose

To evaluate the semiquantitative DCE and quantitative DWI parameters in endometrial cancer, in order to assess the presence of neoplastic tissue and normal myometrium and to ascertain a potential relationship with tumor grade.

Methods and materials

A total of 57 patients with biopsy-proven endometrial adenocarcinoma who underwent MR imaging examination for staging purposes were retrospectively evaluated. Imaging protocol included multiplanar T1- and T2-weighted TSE, DCE T1-weighted (THRIVE; 0, 30, 90 and 120 seconds after intravenous injection of gadolinium) and DWIBS sequences (b values = 0 and 1000 mm2/s). Color perfusion and ADC maps were automatically generated on dedicated software. Relative enhancement (RE, %), maximum enhancement (ME, %), maximum relative enhancement (MRE, %), time to peak (TTP, s) and mean apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) were calculated by manually drawing a region of interest (ROI) both on the neoplastic tissue and the normal myometrium. Histopathology was used as reference standard.

Results

Histopathological analysis confirmed the presence of endometrial carcinoma in all patients. Neoplastic tissue demonstrated significantly lower (P < 0.001) values of RE (%) 63.92 ± 35.68; ME (%) 864.91 ± 429.54 and MRE (%) 75.97 ± 38.26 as compared to normal myometrium (RE (%) 151.43 ± 55.99; ME (%) 1800.73 ± 721.32; MRE (%) 158.28 ± 54.05). TTP was significantly higher (P < 0.05) in tumor lesion (385.51 ± 1630.27 vs 195.44 ± 78.69). Mean ADC value of neoplastic tissue (775.09 ± ?220.73 × 10− 3 mm2/s) was significantly lower (P < 0.05) than in myometrium (1602.37 ± 378.54 × 10− 3 mm2/s). The analysis of perfusion and diffusion parameters classified according to tumor grades, showed a statistically significant difference only for RE (P = 0.043) and ME (P = 0.007).

Conclusions

Perfusion parameters and mean ADC differ significantly between endometrial cancer and normal myometrium, potentially reflecting the different microscopical features of cellularity and vascularity; however a significant relationship with tumor grade was not found in our series.  相似文献

The magnetic dipole interaction of the 57 keV state of143Pr in an environment of metallic cerium and in an aqueous solution of Ce(NO3)3 has been investigated by time-differential perturbed angular correlation experiments. The measurements were performed in external magnetic fields between 0.94 T and 2.24 T and at temperatures between 77 K and 1200 K. From the temperature dependence of the observed spin rotation the ionicity of the Pr ion is determined as Pr4+ in the Ce(NO3)3 and as Pr3+ in Ce metal in the intermediate nuclear state. The magnetic dipole moment of the 57 keV state is derived as = +(3.4±0.1)K. From the room temperature relaxation constants 2 = (0.19±0.03)109s–1 for Ce(NO3)3 and 2= (0.07±0.02)109s–1 for Ce metal the correlation times J = (3.8±0.7)10–13s and J = (1.4±0.4)10–13s respectively are deduced. The angular correlation coefficientA 2=+0.17±0.02 is in good agreement with the result of a decoupling experiment.  相似文献

Using a photodissociation technique, we have measured the IR spectrum of thev 21 mode of the (CF3)3 CI molecule with a vibrational energy ofE 2=42500±3500 cm–1 which is more than two times the dissociation energy. The experimental spectrum of a Lorenzian shape with a halfwidth of 2=10.8±1.5 cm-1 has been analyzed simultaneously with the results of the preceding work (1=8.6±0.6 cm-1) that were obtained at a lower vibrational energy (E 1=36500±2500 cm–1).  相似文献

The (Na+) Sternheimer antishielding factor γ (Na+) was determined by 23Na NMR spectroscopy on sodium oxide chloride, Na3OCl. The quadrupolar coupling constant of the sodium ion in Na3OCl was determined to QCC=11.34 MHz, which presents the largest coupling constant of a sodium nucleus observed so far. Applying a simple point charge model, the largest principal value of the electric field gradient at the sodium site was calculated to Vzz=−6.76762·1020 V/m2. From these values we calculated the (Na+) Sternheimer antishielding factor to γ (Na+)=−5.36. In sodium oxide, Na2O, we observed an isotropic chemical shift of δCS=55.1 ppm, referenced to 1 M aqueous NaCl (δ=0 ppm).  相似文献

Spectral and surface tension behavior of aqueous neutral red in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS) and sodium dodecyl sulfonate (SDSN) have been studied to understand the nature of the interactions in their submicellar concentration ranges. The variations in spectra and surface tension with variation in the concentrations of the surfactants suggest the formation of a 1:1 close-packed dye-surfactant ion pair, HNR+S between the acid form, HNR+ of the dye and the surfactant anion at very low concentrations of the surfactant below critical micelle concentration (cmc) of the pure surfactant. The dye-surfactant ion pair behaves like a nonionic surfactant having higher efficiency and lower cmc than that of the corresponding pure anionic surfactant. The ion pairs are adsorbed on the air/water interface at very low concentrations of the surfactant. As the concentration of the surfactant increases and the ion pairs form micelles of their own, the dye in the ion pair is protonated to form H2NR2+S. As the cmc of the pure surfactant is approached, the protonation equilibrium gradually reverses and pure surfactant ions gradually replace the ion pairs at the interface. Finally, a homogeneous monolayer of pure surfactant anions exists at the air/water interface and the dye remain solubilized in pure micelles above the cmc of the pure surfactant. The equilibrium constants, Kc for the close-packed protonated dye-surfactant ion pair (PDSIP) formation have been determined at varying pH. The submicellar interaction has been found to be stronger with SDS than SDBS. The plots of logarithm of Kc vs. pH have been found to be quite linear which consolidates the assumption of formation of the species, H2NR2+S. The interaction is driven by enthalpy as well as entropy.  相似文献

Consequences of the interference between spectator amplitudes for the lifetimes and semileptonic decay fractions ofB 0 andB + mesons are discussed. Microwave spectra have been observed for the species NH2CN, NHDCN, ND2CN, 15NH2CN, NH2C15N, 15ND2CN and ND2C15N. The nonplanar nature of the molecule is confirmed and the following structural parameters obtained N1N2 = 2.506 ± 0.002 Å, N1C = 1.346 ± 0.005 Å, CN2 = 1.160 ± 0.005 Å, N1H = 1.001 ± 0.015 Å, HN?1H = 113°31′ ± 2°, out of plane angle (see text) = 37°58′ ± 1°. About 2500 lines of CH3 35Cl have been assigned. The strong xy Coriolis resonance between thev 2 andv 5 modes is quite visible between thev 4+v 4 ±1 perpendicular band, centered around 4383 cm–1, and thev 4 ±1 +v 5 ±1 perpendicular component, centered around 4475 cm–1, with a crossing of upper energy levels allowing the observation of lines which are normally forbidden. Although not yet observed with certainty, because of the great density of lines of the spectrum, thev 4 1 +v 5 ±1 parallel component is nevertheless detectable by its effects onv 2+v 4 ±1 which is linked by Coriolis resonance to both components ofv 4+v 5. Moreover the spectrum is much complicated by many other resonances with weak bands which occur at level crossings: it is the case ofv 2+3v 6 ±1 , connected tov 2+v 4 ±1 by the well known Darling Dennison resonance which couplesv 4 ±1 and 3v 6 ±1 , and also ofv 5 ±1 +3v 6 ±1 connected tov 4 ±1 +v 5 ±1 by the same resonance; but this last case is complicated by an anharmonic resonance betweenv 5 ±1 +3v 6 ±1 and 2v 3+3v 6 1 . Two more perturbations occur on the K=–1 side ofv 2+v 4: a weak Coriolis resonance gives rise to one subband ofv 1+v 2 at a level crossing withv 2+v 4, and thev 1+v 5 band (linked of course tov 1+v 2 by the Coriolis resonance between thev 2 andv 5 modes) is quite visible and perturbs several subbands ofv 2+v 4 of high values of K through an anharmonic resonance. Moreover, the complex (3v 5 ±1 ,v+2v 5 0 , 2v 2+v 5 ±1 , 3v 2,v 2+2v 5 ±2 , 3v 5 ±3 ) system of Coriolis-connected bands is linked to the bands studied in the present work by two Fermi resonances: one betweenv 2+2v 5 0 andv 1+v 2, and the other one betweenv 1+v 5 and 3v 5 ±1 , whose several subbands have been observed on the low part of the spectrum. The values of all the band centres and of the different coupling constants have been estimated, but all these interactions make the line assignments and the interpretation of the spectrum very difficult.  相似文献

A new algorithm is presented, based on elements of artificial intelligence theory, to determine the fractal properties of the backbone of the incipient infinite cluster. TheW andQ 2 dependence of the transverse momentum of the forward-going hadrons in deep inelastic neutrino charged current interactions on neon is studied. The data were obtained by exposing BEBC filled with a Ne/H2 mixture to the CERN SPS wide-band neutrino beam. The data on average transverse momentum are compared to a model which includes first order QCD, intrinsic quark momentum in the nucleon and Fermi motion, as well as a simple model for hadronization. The model is found to describe the data well. Values of s =0.16±0.02(stat)±0.02(syst.)±0.03(frag.) at an averageQ 2 of 15.4±0.4 GeV2/c2 and (stat.) –90 +100 (syst.) –90 +130 , (frag.) Decay modes and lifetimes of low-lying levels in 30S and 34Ar were investigated by the Doppler-shift attenuation method using the 28Si(3He, n)30S and 32S(3He, n)34Ar reactions. The lifetimes measured in 30S were (in fs): τm(2210) = 310 ± 75, τm(3402) = 160 ± 45 and τm(3664) > 1400; and in 34Ar: τm(2090) = 150 ± 50, τm(3286) = 120 ± 65 and τm(4513) = 300 ± 80, also in fs. These results are compared with theoretical calculations. A comparison of the E2 decay strengths in masses 30 and 34 is also made to test the isospin dependence of electro-magnetic transitions.  相似文献

Diffusion of selenium and tellurium in silicon has been investigated in the temperature range 1000°C to 1310°C by sheet conductivity. For SiSeD 0= 0.3±0.1 cm2/s andh=2.6±0.1 eV, and for SiTeD 0=0.9±0.3 cm2/s and h=3.3±0.1eV have been obtained. The surface concentrations for both dopants were of the order of 5 × 1013 to 6×1016cm–3. The Hall coefficient leads to an energy level of 300±15meV for selenium and 200±20meV for tellurium.  相似文献

A large solid angle detector has been used to observe two body events produced by electron-positron collisions in the Orsay storage ring. From the π+π excitation curve in the ? region we have deduced the amplitude and the phase of the ω-? interference, and the ? resonance paramaters: M? = (775.4±7.3) MeV, Γ? = (149.6 ± 23.2) MeV, √B(ωπ+π) = 0.19 ± 0.05, φ = (85.7 ± 15.3)0, σ(e+e?) = (1.00 ± 0.13) μb at S = M?2, B(?e+e = (4.1 ± 0.5) × 10−5, Γ(?e+e) = (6.1 ± 0.7) keV, (g?2/4π) = 2.26 ± 0.25, (g?ππ2/4π) = 2.84 ± 0.50.  相似文献

Applying delayed- r.f. coincidences and generalized centroid-shift analysis, nanosecond isomers in some odd-A iodine isotopes are studied in-beam. The reactions106Cd(12C,p2n) and116,118Sn(6Li,3n) have been used. The following half-lives were determined:T 1/2(565 keV)=0.50±0.10 ns andT 1/2(837 keV) =0.90±0.20 ns in115I,T 1/2(687 keV)=5.50±0.50 ns andT 1/2(2418 keV)=4.0±0.50 ns in119I as well asT 1/2(812 keV)=0.35±0.20 ns andT 1/2(445 keV)<0.10 ns=">121I. The most prominent peaks in the 12C(6Li, d)16O spectra at energies up to 32 MeV correspond to levels in 16O at 6.910 ± 0.006 MeV (Jπ = 2+), 10.346 ± 0.006 MeV (τCM < 50 keV, Jπ = 4+), 16. 304 ± 0.020 MeV (τCM = 360 ± 40 keV) and 20.88 ± 0.06 MeV (λCM = 720 ± 100 keV). The last two states are probably the higher members of the first rotational band with Jπ = 6+ and 8+, respectively. A comparison with recent theoretical calculations is given.  相似文献
