The extensive search for the global minimum structure of Hf3 at the B3LYP/LANL2DZ level of theory revealed that D3h 3A2' (1a1'(2)1a2'(2)1e'(4)2a1'(2)1e'2) and D3h 1A1' (1a1'(2)2a1'(2)1e'(4)1a2'(2)3a1'2) are the lowest triplet and singlet states, respectively, with the triplet state being the lowest one. However, at the CASSCF(10,14)/Stuttgart+2f1g level of theory these two states are degenerate, indicating that at the higher level of theory the singlet state could be in fact the global minimum structure. The triplet D3h 3A2' (1a1'21a2'(2)1e'(4)2a1'(2)1e'2) structure is doubly (sigma- and pi-) aromatic and the singlet D3h 1A1' (1a1'(2)2a1'(2)1e'(4)1a2'(2)3a1'2) structure is the first reported triply (sigma-, pi-, and delta-) aromatic system.  相似文献

The optical transitions of supersonically cooled OsN have been investigated in the range from 19,200 to 23,900 cm(-1) using resonant two-photon ionization spectroscopy. More than 20 vibronic bands were observed, 17 of which were rotationally resolved and analyzed. The ground state is confirmed to be (2)Δ(5/2), deriving from the 1σ(2) 2σ(2) 1π(4) 1δ(3) 3σ(2) electronic configuration. The X (2)Δ(5/2) ground state rotational constant for (192)Os(14)N was found to be B(0) = 0.491921(34) cm(-1), giving r(0) = 1.62042(6) ? (1σ error limits). The observed bands were grouped into three band systems with Ω' = 7/2 and four with Ω' = 3/2, corresponding to the three (2)Φ(7/2) and four (2)Π(3/2) states expected from the 1σ(2) 2σ(2) 1π(4) 1δ(3) 3σ(1) 2π(1) and 1σ(2) 2σ(2) 1π(4) 1δ(2) 3σ(2) 2π(1) electronic configurations. In addition, two interacting upper states with Ω' = 5/2 were observed, one of which is thought to correspond to a 1σ(2) 2σ(2) 1π(3) 1δ(3) 3σ(2) 2π(1), (2)Δ(5/2) state. Spectroscopic constants are reported for all of the observed states, and comparisons to related molecules are made. The ionization energy of OsN is estimated as IE(OsN) = 8.80 ± 0.06 eV.  相似文献

Electronic states of the C6H5F+ ion have been studied within C2v symmetry by using the complete active space self-consistent field (CASSCF) and multiconfiguration second-order perturbation theory (CASPT2) methods in conjunction with an atomic natural orbital basis. Vertical excitation energies (Tv) and relative energies (Tv') at the ground-state geometry of the C6H5F molecule were calculated for 12 states. For the five lowest-lying states, 1(2)B1, 1(2)A2, 2(2)B1, 1(2)B2, and 1(2)A1, geometries and vibrational frequencies were calculated at the CASSCF level, and adiabatic excitation energies (T0) and potential energy curves (PEC) for F-loss dissociations were calculated at the CASPT2//CASSCF level. On the basis of the CASPT2 T0 calculations, we assign the X, A, B, C, and D states of the ion to 1(2)B1, 1(2)A2, 2(2)B1, 1(2)B2, and 1(2)A1, respectively, which supports the suggested assignment of the B state to (2)(2)B1 by Anand et al. based on their experiments. Our CASPT2 Tv and Tv' calculations and our MRCI T0, Tv, and Tv' calculations all indicate that the 2(2)B1 state of C6H5F+ lies below 1(2)B2. By checking the relative energies of the asymptote products and checking the fragmental geometries and the charge and spin density populations in the asymptote products along the CASPT2//CASSCF PECs, we conclude that the 1(2)B1, 1(2)B2, and 1(2)A1 states of C6H5F+ correlate with C6H5+ (1(1)A1) + F (2P) (the first dissociation limit). The energy increases monotonically along the 1(2)B1 PEC, and there are barriers and minima along the 1(2)B2 and 1(2)A1 PECs. The predicted appearance potential value for C6H5+ (1(1)A1) is very close to the average of the experimental values. Our CASPT2//CASSCF PEC calculations have led to the conclusion that the 1(2)A2 state of C6H5F+ correlates with the third dissociation limit of C6H5+ (1(1)A2) + F (2P), and a preliminary discussion is presented.  相似文献

The reaction of the ligand 2-(2-trifluoromethyl)anilino-4,6-di-tert-butylphenol, H(2)((1)L(IP)), and PdCl(2) (2:1) in the presence of air and excess NEt(3) in CH(2)Cl(2) produced blue-green crystals of diamagnetic [Pd(II)((1)L(ISQ))(2)] (1), where ((1)L(ISQ))(*)(-) represents the o-iminobenzosemiquinonate(1-) pi radical anion of the aromatic ((1)L(IP))(2-) dianion. The diamagnetic complex 1 was chemically oxidized with 1 equiv of Ag(BF(4)), affording red-brown crystals of paramagnetic (S = (1)/(2)) [Pd(II)((1)L(ISQ))((1)L(IBQ))](BF(4)) (2), and one-electron reduction with cobaltocene yielded paramagnetic (S = (1)/(2)) green crystals of [Cp(2)Co][Pd(II)((1)L(ISQ))((1)L(IP))] (3); ((1)L(IBQ))(0) represents the neutral, diamagnetic quinone form. Complex 1 was oxidized with 2 equiv of [NO]BF(4), affording green crystals of diamagnetic [Pd(II)((1)L(IBQ))(2)](3)(BF(4))(4){(BF(4))(2)H}(2).4CH(2)Cl(2) (5). Oxidation of [Ni(II)((1)L(ISQ))(2)] (S = 0) in CH(2)Cl(2) solution with 2 equiv of Ag(ClO(4)) generated crystals of [Ni(II)((1)L(IBQ))(2)(ClO(4))(2)].2CH(2)Cl(2) (6) with an S = 1 ground state. Complexes 1-5 constitute a five-membered complete electron-transfer series, [Pd((1)L)(2)](n) (n = 2-, 1-, 0, 1+, 2+), where only species 4, namely, diamagnetic [Pd(II)((1)L(IP))(2)](2-), has not been isolated; they are interrelated by four reversible one-electron-transfer waves in the cyclic voltammogram. Complexes 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 have been characterized by X-ray crystallography at 100 K, which establishes that the redox processes are ligand centered. Species 2 and 3 exhibit ligand mixed valency: [Pd(II)((1)L(ISQ))((1)L(IBQ))](+) has localized ((1)L(IBQ))(0) and ((1)L(ISQ))(*)(-) ligands in the solid state, whereas in [Pd(II)((1)L(ISQ))((1)L(IP))](-) the excess electron is delocalized over both ligands in the solid-state structure of 3. Electronic and electron spin resonance spectra are reported, and the electronic structures of all members of this electron-transfer series are established.  相似文献

For studying O- and Cl-loss predissociation mechanisms of OClO (A(2)A(2)), we calculated O- and Cl-loss dissociation potential energy curves (adiabatic minimum-energy dissociation paths) of several low-lying doublet and quartet states at the CASPT2 level and located the MECPs (minimum energy crossing points) for many pairs of the potential energy surfaces (PESs) at the CASPT2 and CASSCF levels. On the basis of our calculation results (including the spin-orbit couplings at the MECPs), we predict three processes for O-loss predissociation of A(2)A(2) and four processes for Cl-loss predissociation of A(2)A(2). The most favorable process for O-loss predissociation is OClO (A(2)A(2)) → A(2)A(2)/1 (2)B(2) MECP → 1 (2)B(2) (1 (2)A') → O ((3)P(g)) + ClO (X(2)Π) (the first O-loss limit), and the needed energy for this process from X(2)B(1) is 2.92 eV. The most favorable process for Cl-loss predissociation is OClO (A(2)A(2)) → A(2)A(2)/1 (2)B(2) MECP → TS1 (1 (2)B(2)) → 1 (2)B(2)/1 (2)A(1) MECP → Cl ((2)P(u)) + O(2) (X(3)Σ(g)(-)) (the first limit), and the needed energy is 3.08 eV. In the previously suggested mechanisms (processes), the A(2)A(2) state was considered to go to the important 1 (2)B(2) state via 1 (2)A(1) (A(2)A(2) → 1 (2)A(1) → 1 (2)B(2)). In the present study we have found that the A(2)A(2) state can directly go to 1 (2)B(2) (at the located A(2)A(2)/1 (2)B(2) MECP the CASPT2 energy (relative to X(2)B(1)) and CASSCF spin-orbit coupling are 2.92 eV and 61.3 cm(-1), respectively). We have compared our processes (A(2)A(2) → 1 (2)B(2) → ...) with the processes (A(2)A(2) → 1 (2)A(1) → 1 (2)B(2) → ...) suggested in the previous MRCI studies and rewritten by us using our calculation results. Energetically the MRCI process for O-loss predissociation (to the first limit) is only slightly (0.13 eV) more favorable than our process, and the MRCI processes for Cl-loss predissociation (to the first and second limits) need the same energies as our processes. By considering the probabilities of radiationless transitions, the MRCI processes are less favorable than our processes since the MRCI processes proceed via more PES/PES crossings (more MECPs). The experimental facts concerning the photodissociation are explained.  相似文献

The binding of group 12 metal ions to bis(2-methylpyridyl) sulfide (1) was investigated by X-ray crystallography and NMR. Seven structures of the chloride and perchlorate salts of Hg(II), Cd(II), and Zn(II) with 1 are reported. Hg(1)(2)(ClO(4))(2), Cd(1)(2)(ClO(4))(2), and Zn(1)(2)(ClO(4))(2).CH(3)CN form mononuclear, six-coordinate species in the solid state with 1 binding in a tridentate coordination mode. Hg(1)(2)(ClO(4))(2) has a distorted trigonal prismatic coordination geometry while Cd(1)(2)(ClO(4))(2) and Zn(1)(2)(ClO(4))(2).CH(3)CN have distorted octahedral geometries. With chloride anions, the 1:1 metal to ligand complexes Hg(1)Cl(2), [Cd(1)Cl(2)](2), and Zn(1)Cl(2) are formed. A bidentate binding mode that lacks thioether coordination is observed for 1 in the four-coordinate, distorted tetrahedral complexes Zn(1)Cl(2) and Hg(1)Cl(2). [Cd(1)Cl(2)](2) is dimeric with a distorted octahedral coordination geometry and a tridentate 1. Hg(1)Cl(2) is comprised of pairs of loosely associated monomers and Zn(1)Cl(2) is monomeric. In addition, Hg(2)(1)Cl(4) is formed with alternating chloride and thioether bridges. The distorted square pyramidal Hg(II) centers result in a supramolecular zigzagging chain in the solid state. The solution (1)H NMR spectra of [Hg(1)(2)](2+) and [Hg(1)(NCCH(3))(x)()](2+) reveal (3)(-)(5)J((199)Hg(1)H) due to slow ligand exchange found in these thioether complexes. Implications for use of Hg(II) as a metallobioprobe are discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, the vertical excitation energies of total of 32 states of N(2)O(4) including the lowest two singlet states and two triplet states of each of the A(g), B(3u), B(2u), B(1g), B(1u), B(2g), B(3g), and A(u) symmetries were calculated at multiconfigurational self-consistent field (MCSCF) and the multireference internally contracted configuration interaction (MRCI) levels of theory on the active space (15o,16e) with aug-cc-pVDZ basis set. The potential energy curves of the eight singlet states(1 (1)A(g), 1 (1)B(3u), 1 (1)B(2u), 1 (1)B(1g), 1 (1)B(1u), 1 (1)B(2g), 1 (1)B(3g), and 1 (1)A(u)) and eight triplet states (1 (3)A(g), 1 (3)B(3u), 1 (3)B(2u), 1 (3)B(1g), 1 (3)B(1u), 1 (3)B(2g), 1 (3)B(3g), and 1 (3)A(u)) were calculated at MCSCF and MRCI levels of theory on the active space (15o,16e) with aug-cc-pVDZ basis set along the N-N distance. The vertical excitation energies of 1 (1)B(3u), 1 (1)B(2u), and 1 (1)B(1u) states with nonzero transition moment are 4.60 eV (269.6 nm), 6.06 eV (204.6 nm), and 7.71 eV (160.8 nm), respectively, at MRCI level of theory. The photodissociation asymptotics were assigned as NO(2)(X (2)A(1))+NO(2)(X (2)A(1)) for ground state 1 (1)A(g) and the 1 (3)B(1u) state, NO(2)(X (2)A(1))+NO(2)(1 (2)A(2)) for the 1 (1)B(1g), 1 (3)B(1g), 1 (1)A(u), and 1 (3)A(u) states, NO(2)(X (2)A(1))+NO(2)(1 (2)B(1)) for the 1 (1)B(3u), 1 (3)B(3u), 1 (1)B(2g), and 1 (3)B(2g) states, and NO(2)(X (2)A(1))+NO(2)(1 (2)B(2)) for the 1 (1)B(2u), 1 (3)B(2u), 1 (1)B(3g), and 1 (3)B(3g) states.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of the dioxouranium(VI) dibromide and iodide hydrates, UO(2)Br(2)x3H(2)O (1), [UO(2)Br(2)(OH(2))(2)](2) (2), and UO(2)I(2)x2H(2)Ox4Et(2)O (3), are reported. Moreover, adducts of UO(2)I(2) and UO(2)Br(2) with large, bulky OP(NMe(2))(3) and OPPh(3) ligands such as UO(2)I(2)(OP(NMe(2))(3))(2) (4), UO(2)Br(2)(OP(NMe(2))(3))(2) (5), and UO(2)I(2)(OPPh(3))(2)(6) are discussed. The structures of the following compounds were determined using single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques: (1) monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 9.7376(8) A, b = 6.5471(5) A, c = 12.817(1) A, beta = 94.104(1) degrees , V = 815.0(1) A(3), Z = 4; (2) monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 6.0568(7) A, b = 10.5117(9) A, c = 10.362(1) A, beta = 99.62(1) degrees , V = 650.5(1) A(3), Z = 2; (4) tetragonal, P4(1)2(1)2, a = 10.6519(3) A, b = 10.6519(3) A, c = 24.0758(6) A, V = 2731.7(1) A(3), Z = 4; (5) tetragonal, P4(1)2(1)2, a = 10.4645(1) A, b = 10.4645(1) A, c = 23.7805(3) A, V = 2604.10(5) A(3), Z = 4, and (6) monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 9.6543(1) A, b = 18.8968(3) A, c = 10.9042(2) A, beta =115.2134(5) degrees , V = 1783.01(5) A(3), Z = 2. Whereas 1 and 2 are the first UO(2)Br(2) hydrates and the last missing members of the UO(2)X(2) hydrate (X = Cl --> I) series to be structurally characterized, 4 and 6 contain room-temperature stable U(VI)-I bonds with 4 being the first structurally characterized room temperature stable U(VI)-I compound which can be conveniently prepared on a gram scale in quantitative yield. The synthesis and characterization of 5 using an analogous halogen exchange reaction to that used for the preparation of 4 is also reported.  相似文献

The 3,5-di-tert-butylpyrazolato (3,5-tBu(2)pz) derivatives of aluminum [(eta(1),eta(1)-3,5-tBu(2)pz)(mu-Al)R(1)R(2)](2) (R(1) = R(2) = Me 1; R(1) = R(2) = Et, 2; R(1) = R(2) = Cl, 3; R(1) = R(2) = I, 4; [(eta(2)-3,5-tBu(2)pz)(3)Al], 5; [Al(2)(eta(1),eta(1)-3,5-tBu(2)pz)(2)(mu-E)(C triple bond CPh)(2)] (E = S (6), Se (7), Te (8)) have been prepared in good yield. Compounds 1 and 2 were obtained by the reactions of H[3,5-tBu(2)pz] with Me(3)Al and Et(3)Al, respectively. Reaction of [(eta(1),eta(1)-3,5-tBu(2)pz)(mu-Al)H(2)](2) with the pyrazole H[3,5-tBu(2)pz] gave [(eta(2)-3,5-tBu(2)pz)(3)Al] (5). The reaction of [(eta(1),eta(1)-3,5-tBu(2)pz)(mu-Al)R(2)](2) (R = H, Me) and I(2) yielded 4, while the reaction of 1 equiv of K[3,5-tBu(2)pz] and AlCl(3) afforded 3. In addition, the reaction of [Al(2)(eta(1),eta(1)-3,5-tBu(2)pz)(2)(mu-E)H(2)] and HC triple bond CPh gave 6, 7, and 8. All compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, NMR, and mass spectroscopy. The molecular structure analyses of compounds 1, 3, 6, and 7 by X-ray crystallography showed that complexes 1 and 3 are dimeric with two eta(1),eta(1)-pyrazolato groups in twisted conformation while 6 and 7 with two eta(1),eta(1)-pyrazolato groups display a boat conformation.  相似文献

The 1 (2)A(1), 1 (2)B(2), and 1 (2)A(2) electronic states of the SO(2) (+) ion have been studied using multiconfiguration second-order perturbation theory (CASPT2) and two contracted atomic natural orbital basis sets, S[6s4p3d1f]/O[5s3p2d1f] (ANO-L) and S[4s3p2d]/O[3s2p1d] (ANO-S), and the three states were considered to correspond to the observed X, B, and A states, respectively, in the previous experimental and theoretical studies. Based on the CASPT2/ANO-L adiabatic excitation energy calculations, the X, A, and B states of SO(2) (+) are assigned to 1 (2)A(1), 1 (2)B(2), and 1 (2)A(2), respectively, and our assignments of the A and B states are contrary to the previous assignments (A to (2)A(2) and B to (2)B(2)). The CASPT2/ANO-L energetic calculations also indicate that the 1 (2)A(1), 1 (2)B(2), and 1 (2)A(2) states are, respectively, the ground, first excited, and second excited states at the ground-state (1 (2)A(1)) geometry of the ion and at the geometry of the ground-state SO(2) molecule. Based on the CASPT2/ANO-L results for the geometries, we realize that the experimental geometries (determined by assuming the bond lengths to be the same as the neutral ground state of SO(2)) were not accurate. The CASPT2/ANO-S calculations for the potential energy curves as functions of the OSO angle confirm that the 1 (2)B(2) and 1 (2)A(2) states are the results of the Renner-Teller effect in the degenerate (2)Pi(g) state at the linear geometry, and it is clearly shown that the 1 (2)B(2) curve, as the lower component of the Renner splitting, lies below the 1 (2)A(2) curve. The UB3LYP/cc-pVTZ adiabatic excitation energy calculations support the assignments (A to (2)B(2) and B to (2)A(2)) based on the CASPT2/ANO-L calculations.  相似文献

[Rh(Cp)Cl(mu-Cl)](2) (Cp = pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) reacts (i) with [Au(NH=CMe(2))(PPh(3))]ClO(4) (1:2) to give [Rh(Cp)(mu-Cl)(NH=CMe(2))](2)(ClO(4))(2) (1), which in turn reacts with PPh(3) (1:2) to give [Rh(Cp)Cl(NH=CMe(2))(PPh(3))]ClO(4) (2), and (ii) with [Ag(NH=CMe(2))(2)]ClO(4) (1:2 or 1:4) to give [Rh(Cp)Cl(NH=CMe(2))(2)]ClO(4) (3) or [Rh(Cp)(NH=CMe(2))(3)](ClO(4))(2).H(2)O (4.H(2)O), respectively. Complex 3 reacts (i) with XyNC (1:1, Xy = 2,6-dimethylphenyl) to give [Rh(Cp)Cl(NH=CMe(2))(CNXy)]ClO(4) (5), (ii) with Tl(acac) (1:1, acacH = acetylacetone) or with [Au(acac)(PPh(3))] (1:1) to give [Rh(Cp)(acac)(NH=CMe(2))]ClO(4) (6), (iii) with [Ag(NH=CMe(2))(2)]ClO(4) (1:1) to give 4, and (iv) with (PPN)Cl (1:1, PPN = Ph(3)P=N=PPh(3)) to give [Rh(Cp)Cl(imam)]Cl (7.Cl), which contains the imam ligand (N,N-NH=C(Me)CH(2)C(Me)(2)NH(2) = 4-imino-2-methylpentan-2-amino) that results from the intramolecular aldol-type condensation of the two acetimino ligands. The homologous perchlorate salt (7.ClO(4)) can be prepared from 7.Cl and AgClO(4) (1:1), by treating 3 with a catalytic amount of Ph(2)C=NH, in an atmosphere of CO, or by reacting 4with (PPN)Cl (1:1). The reactions of 7.ClO(4) with AgClO(4) and PTo(3) (1:1:1, To = C(6)H(4)Me-4) or XyNC (1:1:1) give [Rh(Cp)(imam)(PTo(3))](ClO(4))(2).H(2)O (8) or [Rh(Cp)(imam)(CNXy)](ClO(4))(2) (9), respectively. The crystal structures of 3 and 7.Cl have been determined.  相似文献

Synthetic studies are reported that show that the reaction of either H2SnR2 (R = Ph, n-Bu) or HMo(CO)3(Cp) (1-H, Cp = eta(5)-C5H5) with Mo(N[t-Bu]Ar)3 (2, Ar = 3,5-C6H3Me2) produce HMo(N[t-Bu]Ar)3 (2-H). The benzonitrile adduct (PhCN)Mo(N[t-Bu]Ar)3 (2-NCPh) reacts rapidly with H2SnR2 or 1-H to produce the ketimide complex (Ph(H)C=N)Mo(N[t-Bu]Ar)3 (2-NC(H)Ph). The X-ray crystal structures of both 2-H and 2-NC(H)Ph are reported. The enthalpy of reaction of 1-H and 2 in toluene solution has been measured by solution calorimetry (DeltaH = -13.1 +/- 0.7 kcal mol(-1)) and used to estimate the Mo-H bond dissociation enthalpy (BDE) in 2-H as 62 kcal mol(-1). The enthalpy of reaction of 1-H and 2-NCPh in toluene solution was determined calorimetrically as DeltaH = -35.1 +/- 2.1 kcal mol(-1). This value combined with the enthalpy of hydrogenation of [Mo(CO)3(Cp)]2 (1(2)) gives an estimated value of 90 kcal mol(-1) for the BDE of the ketimide C-H of 2-NC(H)Ph. These data led to the prediction that formation of 2-NC(H)Ph via nitrile insertion into 2-H would be exothermic by approximately 36 kcal mol(-1), and this reaction was observed experimentally. Stopped flow kinetic studies of the rapid reaction of 1-H with 2-NCPh yielded DeltaH(double dagger) = 11.9 +/- 0.4 kcal mol(-1), DeltaS(double dagger) = -2.7 +/- 1.2 cal K(-1) mol(-1). Corresponding studies with DMo(CO)3(Cp) (1-D) showed a normal kinetic isotope effect with kH/kD approximately 1.6, DeltaH(double dagger) = 13.1 +/- 0.4 kcal mol(-1) and DeltaS(double dagger) = 1.1 +/- 1.6 cal K(-1) mol(-1). Spectroscopic studies of the much slower reaction of 1-H and 2 yielding 2-H and 1/2 1(2) showed generation of variable amounts of a complex proposed to be (Ar[t-Bu]N)3Mo-Mo(CO)3(Cp) (1-2). Complex 1-2 can also be formed in small equilibrium amounts by direct reaction of excess 2 and 1(2). The presence of 1-2 complicates the kinetic picture; however, in the presence of excess 2, the second-order rate constant for H atom transfer from 1-H has been measured: 0.09 +/- 0.01 M(-1) s(-1) at 1.3 degrees C and 0.26 +/- 0.04 M(-1) s(-1) at 17 degrees C. Study of the rate of reaction of 1-D yielded kH/kD = 1.00 +/- 0.05 consistent with an early transition state in which formation of the adduct (Ar[t-Bu]N)3Mo...HMo(CO)3(Cp) is rate limiting.  相似文献

2-Benzoylpyridine thiosemicarbazone {R(1)R(2)C(2)=N(2)·N(3)H-C(1)(=S)-N(4)H(2), R(1) = py-N(1), R(2) = Ph; Hbpytsc} with copper(I) iodide in acetonitrile-dichloromethane mixture has formed stable Cu(II)-I bonds in a dark green Cu(II) iodo-bridged dimer, [Cu(2)(II)(μ-I)(2)(η(3)-N(1),N(2),S-bpytsc)(2)] 1. Copper(I) bromide also formed similar Cu(II)-Br bonds in a dark green Cu(II) bromo-bridged dimer, [Cu(2)(II)(μ-Br)(2)(η(3)-N(1),N(2),S-bpytsc)(2)] 3. The formation of dimers 1 and 3 appears to be due to a proton coupled electron transfer (PCET) process wherein copper(I) loses an electron to form copper(II), and this is accompanied by a loss of -N(3)H proton of Hbpytsc ligand resulting in the formation of anionic bpytsc(-). When copper(I) iodide was reacted with triphenylphosphine (PPh(3)) in acetonitrile followed by the addition of 2-benzoylpyridine thiosemicarbazone in dichloromethane (Cu?:?PPh(3)?:?Hbpytsc in the molar ratio 1:1:1), both Cu(II) dimer 1 and an orange Cu(I) sulfur-bridged dimer, [Cu(2)(I)I(2)(μ-S-Hbpytsc)(2)(PPh(3))(2)] 2 were formed. Copper(I) bromide with PPh(3) and Hbpytsc also formed Cu(II) dimer 3 and an orange Cu(I) sulfur-bridged dimer, [Cu(2)(I)Br(2)(μ-S-Hbpytsc)(2)(PPh(3))(2)] 4. While complexes 2 and 4 exist as sulfur-bridged Cu(I) dimers, 1 and 3 are halogen-bridged. The central Cu(2)S(2) cores of 2 and 4 as well as Cu(2)X(2) of 1 (X = I) and 3 (X = Br) are parallelograms. One set of Cu(II)-I and Cu(II)-Br bonds are short, while the second set is very long {1, Cu-I, 2.565(1), 3.313(1) ?; 3, Cu-Br, 2.391(1), 3.111(1) ?}. The Cu···Cu separations are long in all four complexes {1, 4.126(1); 2, 3.857(1); 3, 3.227(1); 4, 3.285(1) ?}, more than twice the van der Waals radius of a Cu atom, 2.80 ?. The pyridyl group appears to be necessary for stabilizing the Cu(II)-I bond, as this group can accept π-electrons from the metal.  相似文献

Adducts of the ligand bis(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)methane (tz(2)(CH(2))) of the form AgX:tz(2)(CH(2)):ER(3):MeCN (1:1:1:x) (X = NO(3), R = Ph, E = P, As, or Sb, x = 1 or 2; X = NO(2), ClO(4), O(3)SCF(3), E = P, R = Ph, x = 0, 1 or 2; X = NO(3), ClO(4), E = P, R = cy, x = 1; X = ClO(4), E = As, R = Ph, x = 2) and AgNO(3):tz(2)(CH(2)):P(o-tolyl)(3) (2:2:1) have been synthesized and characterized in the solid state and in solution by analyses, spectral (IR, far-IR, (1)H and (13)C NMR, ESI MS data) data, and conductivity measurements. In the one-dimensional polymers (characterized by X-ray studies) AgNO(3):tz(2)(CH(2)):PPh(3):CH(3)CN (1:1:1:1), AgClO(4):tz(2)(CH(2)):PPh(3):CH(3)CN (1:1:1:2), AgNO(3):tz(2)(CH(2)):AsPh(3): CH(3)CN (1:1:1:2), and AgNO(3):tz(2)(CH(2)):SbPh(3):CH(3)CN (1:1:1:2), the silver atom can be regarded as four-coordinate, the tz(2)(CH(2)) ligands behaving as bridging groups rather than chelates, with no pair of ligands being dominant, quasi-trans, in their interactions. The AgNO(3):tz(2)(CH(2)):P(o-tolyl)(3) (2:2:1) adduct is a two-dimensional polymer containing two independent silver atoms, one four-coordinated unsymmetrically by a pair of triazolyl rings, one P(o-tolyl)(3), and a unidentate nitrate and the second by a quasi-symmetrical O(2)NO chelate and a pair of equivalent triazolyl rings.  相似文献

The electronic structures of four members of the electron-transfer series [Fe2(1L)4]n (n = 2-, 1-, 0, 1+) have been elucidated in some detail by electronic absorption, IR, X-band electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), and M?ssbauer spectroscopies where (1L)(2-) represents the ligand 1,2-bis(4-tert-butylphenyl)-1,2-ethylenedithiolate(2-) and (1L*)- is its pi-radical monoanion. It is conclusively shown that all redox processes are ligand-centered and that high-valent iron(IV) is not accessible. The following complexes have been synthesized: [FeIII2(1L*)2(1L)2]0 (1), [FeIII2(2L*)2(2L)2].2CH2Cl2 (1') where (2L)(2-) is 1,2-bis(p-tolyl)-1,2-ethylenedithiolate(2-) and (2L*)- represents its pi-radical monoanion, [Cp2Co][FeIII2(1L*))(1L)3].4(toluene).0.5Et2O (2), and [Cp2Co]2[FeIII2(1L)4].2(toluene) (3). The crystal structures of 1' and 2 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray crystallography at 100 K. The ground states of complexes have been determined by temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility measurements and EPR spectroscopy: 1' and 1 are diamagnetic (S(t) = 0); 2 (S(t) = 1/2); 3 (S(t) = 0); the monocation [Fe(III)2(1L*)3(1L)]+ possesses an S(t) = 1/2 ground state (S(t) = total spin ground state of dinuclear species). All species contain pairs of intermediate-spin ferric ions (S(Fe) = 3/2), which are strongly antiferromagnetically coupled (H = -2JS(1).S(2), where S1 = S2 = 3/2 and J = approximately -250 cm(-1)).  相似文献

To gain knowledge about biological iron mobilization, tripodal monotopic and ditopic hydroxamate ligands (1 and 2) are prepared, and their iron-chelating properties are investigated. Ligands 1 and 2 contain three Ala-Ala-beta-(HO)Ala units and three [Ala-Ala-beta-(HO)Ala](2) units connected with tris(alanylaminoethyl)amine, respectively, and form six-coordinate octahedral complexes with iron(III) in aqueous solution. Ligand 1 and 1 equiv of iron give Fe-1, and ligand 2 and 1 or 2 equiv of iron produce Fe(1)-2, or Fe(2)-2. These complexes exhibit absorptions at lambda(max) 425 nm of epsilon 2800-3000/Fe, characteristic of tris(hydroxamato)iron(III) complexes, and preferentially assume the Delta-cis configuration. Loading of Fe(III) on 1, 2, and M(III)-loaded ligands (M-1 and M(1)-2, M = Al, Ga, In) with ammonium ferric oxalate at pH 5.4 is performed, and the second-order rate constants of loading with respect to Fe(III) and the ligand or M(III)-loaded ligands are determined. The rates of loading of Fe(III) on M-1 increase in the order Al-1 < Ga-1 < In-1, and those on M(1)-2 in the order Al(1)-2 < Ga(1)-2 < Fe(1)-2 < In(1)-2, indicating that the dissociation tendency of M(III) ions from the hydroxamate ligand is an important factor. The iron complexes formed with 2 are subjected to an iron removal reaction with excess EDTA in aqueous pH 5.4 solution at 25.0 degrees C, and the collected data are analyzed by curve-fitting using appropriate first-order kinetic equations, providing the rate constants for the upper site and the lower site of 2. Similar analysis for FeM-2 affords removal rate constants for Fe(up)-2, M(up)-2, and Fe(low)-2, and the iron residence probability at each site. The protonation constants of the hydroxamate groups for 1 and 2 (pK(1,) pK(2), pK(3), and pK(1,) pK(2)., pK(6)) are determined, and the proton-independent stability constants for Fe-1, the upper site of Fe(2)-2, and the lower site of Fe(1)-2 are 10(28), 10(29), and 10(28.5), respectively.  相似文献

Vacuum ultraviolet pulsed-field ionization-photoelectron (PFI-PE) spectra of H(2)S have been recorded at PFI-PE resolutions of 0.6-1.0 meV in the energy range of 10-17 eV using high-resolution synchrotron radiation. The PFI-PE spectrum, which covers the formation of the valence electronic states H(2)S(+) (X (2)B(1), A (2)A(1), and B (2)B(2)), is compared to the recent high-resolution He I photoelectron spectra of H(2)S obtained by Baltzer et al. [Chem. Phys. 195, 403 (1995)]. In addition to the overwhelmingly dominated origin vibrational band, the PFI-PE spectrum for H(2)S(+)(X (2)B(1)) is found to exhibit weak vibrational progressions due to excitation of the combination bands in the nu(1) (+) symmetric stretching and nu(2) (+) bending modes. While the ionization energy (IE) for H(2)S(+)(X (2)B(1)) obtained here is in accord with values determined in previously laser PFI-PE measurements, the observation of a new PFI-PE band at 12.642+/-0.001 eV suggests that the IE for H(2)S(+)(A (2)A(1)) may be 0.12 eV lower than that reported in the He I study. The simulation of rotational structures resolved in PFI-PE bands shows that the formation of H(2)S(+)(X (2)B(1)) and H(2)S(+)(A (2)A(1)) from photoionization of H(2)S(X (1)A(1)) is dominated by type-C and type-B transitions, respectively. This observation is consistent with predictions of the multichannel quantum defect theory. The small changes in rotational angular momentum observed are consistent with the dominant atomiclike character of the 2b(1) and 5a(1) molecular orbitals of H(2)S. The PFI-PE measurement has revealed perturbations of the (0, 6, 0) K(+)=3 and (0, 6, 0) K(+)=4 bands of H(2)S(+)(A (2)A(1)). Interpreting that these perturbations arise from Renner-Teller interactions at energies close to the common barriers to linearity of the H(2)S(+) (X (2)B(1) and A (2)A(1)) states, we have deduced a barrier of 23,209 cm(-1) for H(2)S(+)(X (2)B(1)) and 5668 cm(-1) for H(2)S(+)(A (2)A(1)). The barrier of 23 209 cm(-1) for H(2)S(+)(X (2)B(1)) is found to be in excellent agreement with the results of previous studies. The vibrational PFI-PE bands for H(2)S(+)(B (2)B(2)) are broad, indicative of the predissociative nature of this state.  相似文献

The synthesis of syn,anti-[Co(cyclen)en](ClO4)3 (1(ClO4)3) and syn,anti-[Co(cyclen)tn](ClO4)3 (2(ClO4)3) is reported, as are single-crystal X-ray structures for syn,anti-[Co(cyclen)(NH3)2](ClO4)3 (3(ClO4)3). 3(ClO4)3: orthorhombic, Pnma, a = 17.805(4) A, b = 12.123(3) A, c = 9.493(2) A, alpha = beta = gamma = 90 degrees, Z = 4, R1 = 0.030. 1(ClO4)3: monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 8.892(2) A, b = 15.285(3) A, c = 15.466(3) A, alpha = 90 degrees, beta = 91.05(3) degrees, gamma = 90 degrees, Z = 4, R1 = 0.0657. 2Br3: orthorhombic, Pca2(1) a = 14.170(4) A, b = 10.623(3) A, c = 12.362(4) A, alpha = beta = gamma = 90 degrees, Z = 4, R1 = 0.0289. Rate constants for H/D exchange (D2O, I = 1.0 M, NaClO4, 25 degrees C) of the syn and anti NH protons (rate law: kobs = ko + kH[OD-]) and the apical NH, and the NH3 and NH2 protons (rate law: kobs = kH[OD-]) in the 1, 2, and 3 cations are reported. Deprotonation constants (K = [Co(cyclen-H)(diamine)2+]/[Co(cyclen)(diamine)3+][OH-]) were determined for 1 (5.5 +/- 0.5 M-1) and 2 (28 +/- 3 M-1). In alkaline solution 1, 2, and 3 hydrolyze to [Co(cyclen)(OH)2]+ via [Co(cyclen)(amine)OH)]2+ monodentates. Hydrolysis of 3 is two step: kobs(1) = kOH(1)[OH-], kobs(2) = ko + kOH(2)[OH-] (kOH(1) = (2.2 +/- 0.4) x 10(4) M-1 s-1, ko = (5.1 +/- 1.2) x 10(-4) s-1, kOH(2) = 1.0 +/- 0.1 M-1 s-1). Hydrolysis of 2 is biphasic: kobs(1) = k1K[OH-]/(1 + K[OH-] (k1 = 5.0 +/- 0.2 s-1, K = 28 M-1), kobs(2) = k2K2[OH-]/(1 + K2[OH-]) (k2 = 3.5 +/- 1.2 s-1, K2 = 1.2 +/- 0.8 M-1). Hydrolysis of 1 is monophasic: kobs = k1k2KK2[OH-]2/(1 + K[OH-1])(k-1 + k2K2[OH-]) (k1 = 0.035 +/- 0.004 s-1, k-1 = 2.9 +/- 0.6 s-1, K = 5.5 M-1, k2K2 = 4.0 M-1 s-1). The much slower rate of chelate ring-opening in 1, compared to loss of NH3 from 3, is rationalized in terms of a reduced ability of the former system to allow the bond angle expansion required to produce the SN1CB trigonal bipyramidal intermediate.  相似文献

New routes for the synthesis of the optically active antifungal triazoles 1-[(1R,2R)-2-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-2-hydroxy-1-methyl-3-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)propyl]-3-[4-(1H-1-tetrazolyl)phenyl]-2-imidazolidinone (1b) and the 3-14-(1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)phenyl]-2-imidazolidinone analog (1a) that possess an imidazolidine nucleus were established. The key synthetic intermediates, (2R,3R)-3-(2,2-diethoxvethyl)amino-2-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-1-(1H1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-2-butanol (8) and (2R,3R)-2-(2,4-difiuorophenyl)-3-(2-h ydroxyethyl)amino-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)-2-butanol (14), were prepared by the ring-opening reaction of the oxirane (2) with the corresponding 2-substituted ethylamines. The acetal (8) was converted to the imidazolidinones (1a, b) by condensation with the carbamates (10a, b) followed by treatment with hydrochloric acid and subsequent catalytic hydrogenation. The candidate selected for the clinical trials, 1b (TAK-456), was alternatively prepared from the hydroxyethylamino intermediate (14) via two reaction steps: condensation with the carbamate (10b) to the urea (15) and subsequent cyclization to the imidazolidinones. This newly developed synthetic route could be applied to a large scale preparation of 1b.  相似文献
