二维无限正方格子上的量子3态Potts模型是发生一级相变还是二级相变?通过运用无限纠缠投影对态 (iPEPS) 算法,在进行数值模拟时任意选取初态,能得到二维无限正方格子上的3态Potts模型的三个不同的简并基态波函数,这些简并的情况是由自发对称性破缺引起的.首先,揭示了在二维系统中自发对称性破缺引起的相变可以运用单点基态保真度的分叉来研究,也反映了在二维系统中约化保真度同样有一个分叉行为;再者,还提出了二维系统的普适序参量以及多分量的复数局域序参量的行为来尝试研究二维3态Potts模型,共同确定系统发生的量子相变的临界点及其类型.即基于iPEPS算法,从单点基态保真度、约化保真度、普适序参量以及局域序参量的角度,来研究3态Potts模型的量子相变,其为一级相变.  相似文献

We investigate the nature of one-electron eigenstates in power-law-diluted chains for which the probability of occurrence of a bond between sites separated by a distance r decays as p(r) = p/r(1+σ). Using an exact diagonalization scheme and a phenomenological finite-size scaling analysis, we determine the quantum percolation transition phase diagram in the full parameter space (p,σ). We show that the density of states displays singularities at some resonance energies associated with degenerate eigenstates localized in a pair of sites with special symmetries. This model is shown to present an intermediate phase for which there is classical percolation but no quantum percolation. Quantum percolation only takes place for σ < 0.78, a value larger than the corresponding one for the Anderson transition in long-ranged coupled chains with random diagonal disorder. The fractality of critical wavefunctions is also characterized.  相似文献

Motivated by a parallel between quantum cryptography and chaos synchronization cryptography, we construct a Bell's inequality for a pair of synchronously coupled variable-order Generalized Rossler Systems, with arbitrarily binarized final states. In the infinite-order limit, although dynamical parameters cannot be extracted from the coupling signal in finite time, the inequality is violated, as with entangled quantum states. The violations are weaker than in quantum theory, vanishing as the differences between corresponding parameters of the coupled systems become small. The fact that Bell's inequality can be violated for a pair of classical systems that are not discernibly connected supports the possibility of a realist interpretation of quantum mechanics.  相似文献

We investigate the spatially anisotropic square lattice quantum antiferromagnet. The model describes isotropic spin-1/2 Heisenberg chains (exchange constant J) coupled antiferromagnetically in the transverse (J( perpendicular )) and diagonal (J(x)), with respect to the chain, directions. Classically, the model admits two ordered ground states-with antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic interchain spin correlations-separated by a first-order phase transition at J( perpendicular )=2J(x). We show that in the quantum model this transition splits into two, revealing an intermediate quantum-disordered columnar dimer phase, both in two dimensions and in a simpler two-leg ladder version. We describe quantum-critical points separating this spontaneously dimerized phase from classical ones.  相似文献

对于无限大尺寸两腿自旋1/2的XXZ自旋梯子模型,通过运用基于随机行走的张量网络(TN)算法数值模拟出基态波函数,首次尝试研究自旋梯子模型的约化保真度、普适序参量、纠缠熵等物理观测量,并系统研究基态保真度的三维挤点与二维分叉、约化保真度的分叉、局域序参量、普适序参量、纠缠熵和量子相变之间存在的关联关系.基于张量网络表示的算法在任意随机选择初始状态时,可以得到两腿XXZ量子自旋梯子系统简并的对称破缺基态波函数,该基态波函数是由于Z2对称破缺引起的.本文期望所提供的方法可为进一步研究凝聚态物质中热力学极限下的强关联电子量子晶格自旋梯子系统的量子相变和量子临界现象提供一种更有效的强大的工具.  相似文献

Fluctuations of expectation values of observables are calculated in complex quantum systems, such as disordered metallic grains or quantum systems with classical chaotic motion. We derive an exact expression for these fluctuations valid for systems with and without time-reversal symmetry, as well as in the transition region between these two cases. We compare our results with those of a semiclassical theory and with simulations of random matrices.  相似文献

We discuss a phase space representation of quantum dynamics of systems with many degrees of freedom. This representation is based on a perturbative expansion in quantum fluctuations around one of the classical limits. We explicitly analyze expansions around three such limits: (i) corpuscular or Newtonian limit in the coordinate-momentum representation, (ii) wave or Gross-Pitaevskii limit for interacting bosons in the coherent state representation, and (iii) Bloch limit for the spin systems. We discuss both the semiclassical (truncated Wigner) approximation and further quantum corrections appearing in the form of either stochastic quantum jumps along the classical trajectories or the nonlinear response to such jumps. We also discuss how quantum jumps naturally emerge in the analysis of non-equal time correlation functions. This representation of quantum dynamics is closely related to the phase space methods based on the Wigner-Weyl quantization and to the Keldysh technique. We show how such concepts as the Wigner function, Weyl symbol, Moyal product, Bopp operators, and others automatically emerge from the Feynmann's path integral representation of the evolution in the Heisenberg representation. We illustrate the applicability of this expansion with various examples mostly in the context of cold atom systems including sine-Gordon model, one- and two-dimensional Bose-Hubbard model, Dicke model and others.  相似文献

We use an alternative method to investigate the quantum criticality at zero and finite temperature using trace distance along with the density matrix renormalization group. It is shown that the average correlation measured by the trace distance between the system block and environment block in a DMRG sweep is able to detect the critical points of quantum phase transitions at finite temperature. As illustrative examples, we study spin-1 XXZ chains with uniaxial single-ion-type anisotropy and the Heisenberg spin chain with staggered coupling and external magnetic field. It is found that the trace distance shows discontinuity at the critical points of quantum phase transition and can be used as an indicator of QPTs.  相似文献

本文研究了耦合不连续系统的同步转换过程中的动力学行为, 发现由混沌非同步到混沌同步的转换过程中特殊的多吸引子共存现象. 通过计算耦合不连续系统的同步序参量和最大李雅普诺夫指数随耦合强度的变化, 发现了较复杂的同步转换过程: 临界耦合强度之后出现周期非同步态(周期性窗口); 分析了系统周期态的迭代轨道,发现其具有两类不同的迭代轨道: 对称周期轨道和非对称周期轨道, 这两类周期吸引子和同步吸引子同时存在, 系统表现出对初值敏感的多吸引子共存现象. 分析表明, 耦合不连续系统中的周期轨道是由于局部动力学的不连续特性和耦合动力学相互作用的结果. 最后, 对耦合不连续系统的同步转换过程进行了详细的分析, 结果表明其同步呈现出较复杂的转换过程.  相似文献

We investigate two solvable models for Bose-Einstein condensates and extract physical information by studying the structure of the solutions of their Bethe ansatz equations. A careful observation of these solutions for the ground state of both models, as we vary some parameters of the Hamiltonian, suggests a connection between the behavior of the roots of the Bethe ansatz equations and the physical behavior of the models. Then, by the use of standard techniques for approaching quantum phase transition - gap, entanglement and fidelity - we find that the change in the scenery in the roots of the Bethe ansatz equations is directly related to a quantum phase transition, thus providing an alternative method for its detection.  相似文献

We study the time evolution of entanglement in a new quantum version of the Kac ring, where two spin chains become dynamically entangled by quantum gates, which are used instead of the classical markers. The features of the entanglement evolution are best understood by using knowledge about the behavior of an ensemble of classical Kac rings. For instance, the recurrence time of the quantum many-body system is twice the length of the chain and “thermalization” only occurs on time scales much smaller than the dimension of the Hilbert space. The model thus elucidates the relation between the results of measurements in quantum and classical systems: While in classical systems repeated measurements are performed over an ensemble of systems, the corresponding result is obtained by measuring the same quantum system prepared in an appropriate superposition repeatedly.  相似文献

The notion of phase synchronization in time-delay systems, exhibiting highly non-phase-coherent attractors, has not been realized yet even though it has been well studied in chaotic dynamical systems without delay. We report the identification of phase synchronization in coupled nonidentical piecewise linear and in coupled Mackey-Glass time-delay systems with highly non-phase-coherent regimes. We show that there is a transition from nonsynchronized behavior to phase and then to generalized synchronization as a function of coupling strength. We have introduced a transformation to capture the phase of the non-phase-coherent attractors, which works equally well for both the time-delay systems. The instantaneous phases of the above coupled systems calculated from the transformed attractors satisfy both the phase and mean frequency locking conditions. These transitions are also characterized in terms of recurrence-based indices, namely generalized autocorrelation function P(t), correlation of probability of recurrence, joint probability of recurrence, and similarity of probability of recurrence. We have quantified the different synchronization regimes in terms of these indices. The existence of phase synchronization is also characterized by typical transitions in the Lyapunov exponents of the coupled time-delay systems.  相似文献

We study the time evolution of classical and quantum correlations for hybrid qubit-qutrit systems in independent and common dephasing environments. Our discussion involves a comparative analysis of the Markovian dynamics of negativity, quantum discord, geometric measure of quantum discord and classical correlation. For the case of independent environments, we have demonstrated the phenomenon of sudden transition between classical and quantum decoherence for qubit-qutrit states. In the common environment case, we have shown that dynamics of quantum and geometric discords might be completely independent of each other for a certain time interval, although they tend to be eventually in accord.  相似文献

Measure synchronization in hybrid quantum-classical systems is investigated in this paper. The dynamics of the classical subsystem is described by the Hamiltonian equations, while the dynamics of the quantum subsystem is governed by the Schrödinger equation. By increasing the coupling strength in between the quantum and classical subsystems, we reveal the existence of measure synchronization in coupled quantum-classical dynamics under energy conservation for the hybrid systems.  相似文献

A pair of coupled erbium doped fiber ring lasers is used to explore the dynamics of coupled spatiotemporal systems. The lasers are mutually coupled with a coupling delay less than the cavity round-trip time. We study synchronization between the two lasers in the experiment and in a delay differential equation model of the system. Because the lasers are internally perturbed by spontaneous emission, we include a noise source in the model to obtain stochastic realizations of the deterministic equations. Both amplitude synchronization and phase synchronization are considered. We use the Hilbert transform to define the phase variable and compute phase synchronization. We find that synchronization increases with coupling strength in the experiment and the model. When the time series from two lasers are time shifted in either direction by the delay time, approximately equal synchronization is frequently observed, so that a clear leader and follower cannot be identified. We define an algorithm to determine which laser leads the other when the synchronization is sufficiently different with one direction of time shift, and statistics of switches in leader and follower are studied. The frequency of switching between leader and follower increases with coupling strength, as might be expected since the lasers mutually influence each other more effectively with stronger coupling.  相似文献

We construct quantum games from a table of non-factorizable joint probabilities, coupled with a symmetry constraint, requiring symmetrical payoffs between the players. We give the general result for a Nash equilibrium and payoff relations for a game based on non-factorizable joint probabilities, which embeds the classical game. We study a quantum version of Prisoners' Dilemma, Stag Hunt, and the Chicken game constructed from a given table of non-factorizable joint probabilities to find new outcomes in these games. We show that this approach provides a general framework for both classical and quantum games without recourse to the formalism of quantum mechanics.  相似文献

We have studied excess electron filling rule in the coupled multiple nanocrystal quantum-dot systems, i.e. quantum chain and quantum pattern, by the unrestricted Hartree–Fock–Roothaan method. Assuming each quantum dot of quantum pattern to be confined in a three-dimensional spherical potential well of finite depth, we have studied the intradot and interdot electron Coulomb and exchange interactions. By varying the center distance d between the coupled quantum dots, the transition from the strong- to weak-coupling situation is realized. For the systems in question, our results show that, with the filling of excess electrons into the quantum pattern, the corresponding chemical potentials form quasi-band structure, which is similar to the energy-band structure of crystal material. In each chemical-potential band of quantum pattern, the number of chemical-potential curves is equal to the number of quantum dots, and the distributions of them depend strongly on the quantum-dot arrangement structure of quantum pattern.  相似文献
