A hierarchy of non-isospectral multi-component AKNS equations is derived from an arbitrary order matrix spectral problem. As a reduction, non-isospectral multi-component Schrödinger equations are obtained. Moreover, new non-isospectral integrable couplings of the resulting AKNS soliton hierarchy are constructed by enlarging the associated matrix spectral problem.  相似文献

Two non-isospectral generalized nonlinear Schrodinger (ONLS) equations, which are two important models of nonlinear excitations of matter waves in Bose-Einstein condensates, are studied. Two novel transformations are constructed such that these two GNLS equations are transformed to the well-known nonlinear Schr6dinger (NLS) equation, which is an isospectral equation. Therefore, once one solution of the NLS equation is provided, we can immediately obtain one solution for two ONLS equations by these transformations. Thus it is unnecessary to solve these two non-isospectral GNLS equations directly. Soliton solutions and periodic solutions are obtained for them by two transformations from the corresponding solutions of the NLS equation, which are generated by Darboux transformation.  相似文献

We present a noncommutative version of the Ablowitz-Kaup-Newell-Segur (AKNS) equation hierarchy, which possesses the zero curvature representation. Furthermore, we derive the noncommutative AKNS equation from the noncommutative (anti-)self-dual Yang-Mills equation by reduction, which is an evidence for the noncommutative Ward conjecture. Finally, the integrable coupling system of the noncommutative AKNS equation hierarchy is constructed by using the Kronecker product.  相似文献

By embedding a free function into a compatible zero curvature equation, we enlarge the original differential-difference hierarchy into a new hierarchy with the free function which still admits zero curvature representation. The new hierarchy not only includes the original hierarchy, but also the well-known relativistic Toda hierarchy and the Volterra hierarchy as special reductions by properly choosing the free function. Infinitely many conservation laws and Darboux transformation for a representative differential-difference system are constructed based on its Lax representation. In [E.G. Fan, Phys. Lett. A 372 (2008) 6368], Fan present a lattice hierarchy and its continuous limits. In this Letter, we extend this method, by introducing a complex discrete spectral problem, a coupling lattice hierarchy is derived. It is shown that a new sequence of combinations of complex lattice spectral problem converges to the integrable coupling couplings of soliton equation hierarchy, which has the integrable coupling system of AKNS hierarchy as a continuous limit.  相似文献

An explicit N-fold Darboux transformation for evolution equations determined by general 2×2 AKNS system is constructed. By using the Darboux transformation, the solutions of the evolution equations are reduced to solving alinear algebraic system, from which a unified and explicit formulation of 2N-soliton solutions for the evolution equation are given. Furthermore, a reduction technique for MKdV equation is presented, and an N-fold Darboux transformation of MKdV hierarchy is constructed through the reduction technique. A Maple package which can entirely automatically output the exact N-soliton solutions of the MKdV equation is developed.  相似文献

By introducing a discrete spectral problem, we derive a lattice hierarchy which is integrable in Liouville's sense and possesses a multi-Hamiltonian structure. It is show that the discrete spectral problem converges to the well-known AKNS spectral problem under a certain continuous limit.
