Frequency-uniform decomposition method for the generalized BO, KdV and NLS equations

Sufficient and necessary conditions for the embeddings between Besov spaces and modulation spaces are obtained. Moreover, using the frequency-uniform decomposition method, we study the Cauchy problem for the generalized BO, KdV and NLS equations, for which the global well-posedness of solutions with the small rough data in certain modulation spaces is shown.

Superlinear elliptic equations with singular coefficients on the boundary

In this paper, a superlinear elliptic equation whose coefficient diverges on the boundary is studied in any bounded domain Ω under the zero Dirichlet boundary condition. Although the equation has a singularity on the boundary, a solution is smooth on the closure of the domain. Indeed, it is proved that the problem has a positive solution and infinitely many solutions without positivity, which belong to or . Moreover, it is proved that a positive solution has a higher order regularity up to .     

The Cauchy problem for the Schrödinger-KdV system

In this paper we prove that in the general case (i.e. β not necessarily vanishing) the Cauchy problem for the Schrödinger-Korteweg-de Vries system is locally well-posed in , and if β=0 then it is locally well-posed in with . These results improve the corresponding results of Corcho and Linares (2007) [5]. Idea of the proof is to establish some bilinear and trilinear estimates in the space Gs×Fs, where Gs and Fs are dyadic Bourgain-type spaces related to the Schrödinger operator and the Airy operator , respectively, but with a modification on Fs in low frequency part of functions with a weaker structure related to the maximal function estimate of the Airy operator.     

A compactly supported solution to a three-dimensional uniformly elliptic equation without zero-order term

Global existence and asymptotic behavior of solutions for nonlinear parabolic equations on unbounded domains

We study the existence and the asymptotic behavior of positive solutions for the parabolic equation on D×(0,∞), where is a some unbounded domain in and V belongs to a new parabolic class J^∞ of singular potentials generalizing the well-known parabolic Kato class at infinity P^∞ introduced recently by Zhang. We also show that the choice of this class is essentially optimal.
