The Bubnov-Galerkin method is used to find the critical loads for cylindrically orthotropic circular continuous and annular plates with different edge conditions in axisymmetric buckling. The effect of the ratio of the Young moduli in the circumferential (E) and radial (Er) directions and the ratio of E to the interlaminar shear modulus Grz is investigated. Based on our recent theoretical model of the interfacial debonding and fibre pullout/pushout stresses, an improved analysis including the effect of fibre anisotropy has been performed for single fibre pullout and pushout. During fibre-matrix debonding the debonded region is considered as an interfacial crack and its extension is dependent on a fracture energy criterion being satisfied. The elastic properties of the fibre are taken to be transversely isotropic about the fibre axis and the matrix is assumed to be isotropic. The results show that the maximum debond stress for fibre pullout and the initial frictional pullout stress increase as the ratio of the Young's moduli of the fibre between the axial and radial directionsE f /E f r increases, and this is particularly so at large embedded fibre lengths. However, in the case of fibre pushout these debond and pushout stresses decrease asE f /E f r increases.  相似文献

Let E be a ring of entire functions on with the operation of pointwise multiplication, and let f 1,...,f m be a set of nonzero elements in E. The ideal E(f 1,...,f m ) in E with generators f 1,...,f m is said to be generating if E(f 1,...,f m ) = E. The generating ideals in rings of entire functions on determined by the growth of their maximum moduli are characterized in terms of the distribution of the zero sets of their generators. Under the additional condition of rapid variation of the weight sequences determining the ring, criteria for generating ideals are established; they are stated in terms of d(z) max 1 j m d j (z), where d j (z) is the distance from a point to the zero set of f j for 1 j m. If the sequence is exchangeable and the variance of the marginal distributions exists, it is proved that r, the random radius of convergence of f(z), takes the values 0 and 1. If the sequence is a second order stationary time series then r=1 with probability 1. If {a i} is a regular denumerable Markov chain, it can be proved that r=c=1 with probability 1, but both c=0 and c=1 can arise. Summary It is well known that for a given simply connected regionR containing zero the uniform norm attains its minimum in the class of all holomorphic functions normalized byf(0)=0 andf(0)=1 only for the conformal mappingfRD(r)={z|z|}. It is shown that this theorem is still valid if one replaces the ordinary modulus | | on by any other norm on . For instance it is possible to obtain direct mappings ofR onto parallelograms, rectangles and ellipses. Let E be a symmetric space on [0,1]. Let (,E) be the space of measurable functions f such that fg E for every almost everywhere convergent series g=b n r n E, where (r n) are the Rademacher functions. It was shown that, for a broad class of spaces E, the space (,E) is not order isomorphic to a symmetric space, and we study the conditions under which such an isomorphism exists. We give conditions on E for (,E) to be order isomorphic to L . This includes some classes of Lorentz and Marcinkiewicz spaces. Summary Marek Kuczma's book, entitled An Introduction To The Theory Of Functional Equations And Inequalities, mentions a certain setV 0 in several places and presents references as to where this set is discussed in the literature. The main result of this paper is a proof of the fact that the setA M (V 0)={xV 0 f(x)>M} is saturated non-measurable for each additive discontinuous functionf and each real numberM. Other results aboutV 0 are also presented. Connections between measure and category are stressed. The main tool in our proofs is a certain so-called zero–one law and its topological analogue. The characteristics of composites associated with the essential anisotropy of the reinforcing fibers are studied. The effect of distortion and pretensioning of the reinforcement on the axisymmetricity of the strain field, the moduli of elasticity, and the strength in the direction of the fibers under external and internal pressure are investigated with allowance for the high compliance of the material in the transverse direction. Numerical estimates are obtained for the moduli of elasticity E and Er, expansion coefficient and r, and initial temperature stresses r 0 and 0 for a model material. The dependence of the bursting pressure on the thickness of the rings is described and strength criteria are formulated.
