Abstract

The idea of statistical relative convergence on modular spaces has been introduced by Orhan and Demirci. The notion of σ-statistical convergence was introduced by Mursaleen and Edely and further extended based on a fractional order difference operator by Kadak. The concern of this paper is to define two new summability methods for double sequences by combining the concepts of statistical relative convergence and σ-statistical convergence in modular spaces. Furthermore, we give some inclusion relations involving the newly proposed methods and present an illustrative example to show that our methods are nontrivial generalizations of the existing results in the literature. We also prove a Korovkin-type approximation theorem and estimate the rate of convergence by means of the modulus of continuity. Finally, using the bivariate type of Stancu-Schurer-Kantorovich operators, we display an example such that our approximation results are more powerful than the classical, statistical, and relative modular cases of Korovkin-type approximation theorems.  相似文献

In this paper we define a new type of statistical convergence by using the notions of the natural density and the relatively uniform convergence. We study its use in the Korovkin-type approximation theory. Then, we construct an example such that our new approximation result works but its classical and statistical cases do not work. In this paper, we prove a certain Korovkin type approximation theorem by introducing new test functions. We introduce the non‐tensor Balázs type Bleimann, Butzer and Hahn operators and give the approximation property by using this new Korovkin theorem. Furthermore, we obtain the rate of convergence of these operators by means of modulus of continuity. Finally, we state the multivariate version of the abovementioned Korovkin type theorem. In this study, we introduce the Durrmeyer type Jakimoski–Leviatan operators and examine their approximation properties. We study the local approximation properties of these operators. Further, we investigate the convergence of these operators in a weighted space of functions and obtain the approximation properties. In this paper, we introduce and study new type Szász‐Mirakyan‐Kantorovich operators using a technique different from classical one. This allow to analyze the mentioned operators in terms of exponential test functions instead of the usual polynomial type functions. As a first result, we prove Korovkin type approximation theorems through exponential weighted convergence. The rate of convergence of the operators is obtained for exponential weights.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a certain class of linear positive operators via a generating function, which includes the non-tensor MKZ operators and their non-trivial extension. In investigating the approximation properties, we prove a new Korovkin type approximation theorem by using appropriate test functions. We compute the rate of convergence of these operators by means of the modulus of continuity and the elements of modified Lipschitz class functions. Furthermore, we give functional partial differential equations for this class. Using the corresponding equations, we calculate the first few moments of the non-tensor MKZ operators and investigate their approximation properties. Finally, we state the multivariate versions of the results and obtain the convergence properties of the multivariate Meyer–König and Zeller operators.  相似文献

In this paper we study the convergence of the famous Weierstrass method for simultaneous approximation of polynomial zeros over a complete normed field. We present a new semilocal convergence theorem for the Weierstrass method under a new type of initial conditions. Our result is obtained by combining ideas of Weierstrass (1891) and Proinov (2010). A priori and a posteriori error estimates are also provided under the new initial conditions.  相似文献

In this paper, we develop the theory for a family of neural network (NN) operators of the Kantorovich type, in the general setting of Orlicz spaces. In particular, a modular convergence theorem is established. In this way, we study the above family of operators in many instances of useful spaces by a unique general approach. The above NN operators provide a constructive approximation process, in which the coefficients, the weights, and the thresholds of the networks needed in order to approximate a given function f , are known. At the end of the paper, several examples of Orlicz spaces, and of sigmoidal activation functions for which the present theory can be applied, are studied in details.  相似文献

In this work a new type of approximation operator—the Bézier variant of the BBHK operator—is introduced. Its approximation properties are studied. A convergence theorem for such approximation operators for locally bounded functions is established by means of some techniques of probability theory and analysis methods. This work is dedicated to the mathematical and numerical analysis of a new Xfem approach: the integral maching Xfem. It is known that the quality of the approximation and the convergence rate of Xfem type methods is broadly influenced by the transition layer between the singular enrichment area and the rest of the domain. In the presented method, this transition layer is replaced by an interface associated with an integral matching condition of mortar type. We prove an optimal convergence result for such a non-conformal approximation method and we perform some numerical experiments showing the advantages of the integral matching Xfem with respect to former Xfem approaches.  相似文献

The main aim of this study is to introduce a new generalization of q-Bleimann, Butzer and Hahn operators and obtain statistical approximation properties of these operators with the help of the Korovkin type statistical approximation theorem. Rates of statistical convergence by means of the modulus of continuity and the Lipschitz type maximal function are also established. Our results show that rates of convergence of our operators are at least as fast as classical BBH operators. The second aim of this study is to construct a bivariate generalization of the operator and also obtain the statistical approximation properties.  相似文献

Starting with the well‐ known Bernstein operators, in the present paper, we give a new generalization of the bivariate type. The approximation properties of this new class of bivariate operators are studied. Also, the extension of the proposed operators, namely, the generalized Boolean sum (GBS) in the Bögel space of continuous functions is given. In order to underline the fact that in this particular case, GBS operator has better order of convergence than the original ones, some numerical examples are provided with the aid of Maple soft. Also, the error of approximation for the modified Bernstein operators and its GBS‐type operator are compared.  相似文献

In this work we are interested in the numerical approximation of 1D parabolic singularly perturbed problems of reaction-diffusion type. To approximate the multiscale solution of this problem we use a numerical scheme combining the classical backward Euler method and central differencing. The scheme is defined on some special meshes which are the tensor product of a uniform mesh in time and a special mesh in space, condensing the mesh points in the boundary layer regions. In this paper three different meshes of Shishkin, Bahkvalov and Vulanovic type are used, proving the uniform convergence with respect to the diffusion parameter. The analysis of the uniform convergence is based on a new study of the asymptotic behavior of the solution of the semidiscrete problems, which are obtained after the time discretization by the Euler method. Some numerical results are showed corroborating in practice the theoretical results on the uniform convergence and the order of the method.  相似文献

In this article, we give a generalization of the Kantorovich-Szász type operators defined by means of the Brenke type polynomials introduced in the literature and obtain convergence properties of these operators by using Korovkin’s theorem. Some graphical examples using the Maple program for this approximation are given. We also establish the order of convergence by using modulus of smoothness and Peetre’s K-functional and give a Voronoskaja type theorem. The convergence of an approximation scheme known as policy iteration has been demonstrated for controlled diffusions by Fleming, Puterman, and Bismut. In this paper, we show that this approximation scheme is equivalent to the Newton-Kantorovich iteration for solving the optimality equation and exploit this equivalence to obtain a new proof of convergence. In this paper, the concept of lacunary equi-statistical convergence is introduced and it is shown that lacunary equi-statistical convergence lies between lacunary statistical pointwise and lacunary statistical uniform convergence. Inclusion relations between equi-statistical and lacunary equi-statistical convergence are investigated and it is proved that, under some conditions, lacunary equi-statistical convergence and equi-statistical convergence are equivalent to each other. A Korovkin type approximation theorem via lacunary equi-statistical convergence is proved. Moreover it is shown that our Korovkin type approximation theorem is a non-trivial extension of some well-known Korovkin type approximation theorems. Finally the rates of lacunary equi-statistical convergence by the help of modulus of continuity of positive linear operators are studied.   相似文献
